Of the many things that bother me about fansites, the main one is probably that the boys don't get to approve which photos of them are published or used for merchandise when it's not official content. The second thing is that we see how they get mobbed at airports and how much pressure they're under to act friendly and smile for photos no matter how they feel. Especially since big hit has asked fans not to show up at airports and the only reason we know when they're traveling is because the information gets leaked without their consent.
When I saw people supporting black n white I assumed that she at least followed the rules about not going to the airport and not sneaking cameras into concerts, but I've seen both types of photos from her. So I was wondering if you could explain why jikookers seem so okay with her and not other fansites?
So I'll post this ask, with the very clear statement at the beginning that I'm not opening this up for debate. Because this is one of those topics of debate that continuously circle around constantly and it's exhausting and repeating myself is something im trying to do less over here this year. My essay of an answer starts here...
Okay, so I'm pretty sure that this came from you seeing this reblog post below. But I'm curious if you actually read it. Because I'm pretty sure it answers your question. Along with the post I LINKED in my reblog because that goes into the culture of fansites in kpop even more.
But then if we want to talk about it more... we can I guess. Since you asked nicely. Fansites in kpop can kind of be linked to the equivalent of concert photographers in the US. If you know what those are/are more familiar with the concert scene in the US. Idk where you are from though. Concert photographers are in general pretty respected and hyped up in the US, even at times have their photos from the concert purchased by the artists themselves. They aren't employed by the stadium, by the artist or the artists companies though usually. They aren't shunned by fans or banned from the concerts. And they share the photos they take online and even sell them, no issues. It's basically the same thing.
Tumblr media
Fansites are, for the most part, a very normal, expected and intricate part of kpop culture. Most of the boys often recongize, smile, wave and bow at their fansites (and no, not just at places where they are forced to act like they are okay with it when they aren't, like airports, but at concerts and award shows or going back further in time, fansigns and ISAC events). Or they will move to let the fansite get the best shot of the members they are a fansite for. Compared to when it's a known problematic fansite who are more stalker then fansite, they don't do that and there are even videos/photos of them looking uncomfortable when recognizing that fansite, rather than smiling for them. Like Headliner, for example, A JK "fansite" where we have examples of him looking displeased in her direction and an example of Jimin standing in front of JK in her line of sight, "ruining" the shot and looking right at her, hands on hips.
And because I mentioned above airports, like you did. Let's talk about that too. Because I DO have a post up here reeming people out for showing up to and crowding the boys at airports. It's horribly disrespectful and not okay. Fansites (like BnW and other respectful ones) aren't generally the people you see shoving their phones in the guys faces, they tend to hang back with the media mostly and not get so far up their asses, invading personal space. And media is tipped off when the guys are traveling so they can go and report on it. Its FANS who invade privacy to show up that's a problem, not necessarily the media or fansites, which is expected as an idol. Do I LIKE they are expected to be photographed to hell and back when leaving and entering Korea? Not really, but it's also not the same thing as invading their privacy either. Following them into the airport and onto the plane or to their destination to take photos of them on the plane, at the waiting areas or getting off the plane? Yeah, that's an invasion of privacy and then upgrades you (general you) to stalker. And here is my post about how you shouldn't go to the airport when BTS is traveling. Again, please actually read my posts I link to you.
As for the consent about the boys aproving photos/videos argument, I then have to ask are you against everyone who livestreams the concert on their phones for ARMYs who aren't there to tune in? Or all the people who put the photos up they take at concerts or other events up onto the timeline? Or because it's not a fansite photo, just a watermarked photo from some random fan account, that's then okay? I don't know you, so idk how you personally interact with everything like above, but it's food for thought. It's also something to consider to make sure if you ARE so against fansites, that you aren't liking, retreating, saving, etc photos of any of the members that come from fansites. (The jikook photo above comes from a Jimin fansite btw) Because I'm pretty sure Almost every ARMY has, intentionally or otherwise. Because MOST concert/event photos end up coming from fansigns. And the boys KNOW that and are okay with it. And the company isn't struggling anymore. If they didn't want people "filling in the gaps" of available photos, they could hire more themselves and release more too.
To address your comments about them selling or distributing merch with their photos of the boys that the boys didn't get to pre-approve. That's fair. And it's also your choice to support that or not. Personally, I probably won't buy fansite photobooks, I'd rather spend my money on what I know will go towards the boys pocket directly, or at least towards them. Such as their official photobooks, albums, DVD packages, etc. But all the photos the fansites sell, they also normally just release for free too online. At least that I've seen. And then all those photos they have, they will sometimes hold events for people to buy them as merch. But that's a customer choice for sure. And it's 100% valid to not like that and not spend your money there. BlacknWhite for example, held her own little merch photo exhibition thing last year. Idk what to call it, but I posted here so it did happen for sure. Bighit hosts these same similar types of exhibitions at the end of various eras/concerts you can also purchase from more officially too.
But also again, all idols know about fansites and often start recognizing the ones that are there for them and don't mind them (as long as they aren't crossing privacy boundaries, which I will touch on later here too). For some examples, here you've got Jimin being playful and silly with his fansite here when he saw them...
Tumblr media
Changing to make sure the fansites could get better photos during the fansign....
Tumblr media
Using/wearing and loving gifts given to them and sent by their fansigns
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He still has these focal speakers in his studio. Which was a gift from a fansite way back when
Tumblr media
Jikook engaging with BlacknWhite when she is there taking their photos.... AND you'll see in my reblog (first linked post) the post I shared in there, Jimin seeing, acknowledging and moving out of the way for a Hobi fansite so they can get a better shot of him too
Tae had a photo from his fansite blown up and hung on his dorm wall.
Tumblr media
Hobi shared a photo taken by his fansite on his Instagram too
Tumblr media
Plus, Jimins family (idk about the others, Jimins is just more in the public eye because of his dad's Cafe) had fansite photos of Jimin and BTS hanging on their cafe walls. Jimins dad recently gave a fansite photo to a visiting dignitary that he got framed.
JK blushing over seeing his first ever fansite back during their debut.
The reason Fansites will sometimes get kicked out of concerts is because they are blacklisted (which most are not) for various reasons but mostly due to proven stalking or for misconduct during a concert (which again. Doesn't happen as often as stan twt will lead you to believe.) Bighit baned all photography, so it's not even necessarily about fansites, it's about Hybe wanting to bottle and sell the air the guys breathe because they know ARMY would buy it. Lol they are a corporate company and are focused on the bottom line more than alot of fans like to think at times I believe. A lot of the hate towards fansites comes from people who don't really understand idol culture at times and almost always exlculsively from I- armys. I don't see K army fans complaining about fansites. I see BTS members complaining about media, fans and fansites following them to places like, the mall, or on the private schedules, and overcrowding them. But never about fansites being in events, concerts, or airports from afar. In fact, from the ones who aren't problems, I see the opposite from the members. Jikookers like BnW because she is a jikook fansite and focuses on getting photos of them together and seperate, so it's like a one stop party. Lol other JK and JM fansites will share photos of jikook together when they are glued at the hip (which is often) along with when they with other members too, which is also nice and you'll see plently of people sharing those with no problems either. Again, as long as they aren't problematic accounts.
Fansites who take photos of the guys on private schedules? No. Who get on planes the boys are on? No. Who shit talk the boys and use them only for the cash flow their photos bring them? No. Who stalk them and show up places they shouldn't be and turn into sasaengs and doing anything for a quick buck? No. Fansites who crowd into the boys personal space for the perfect photo or are rude to them/others? No. Fansites who don't take no for an answer? No. But that's a small portion of fansites. Not all of them. Not even close to all of them. And alot of this hate towards fansites comes off more performative for most armys then anything else. Plus saying all fansites are bad is kinda like saying all ARMYs are 15 year old girls who bully people online because a small faction are and that's what people latch onto in an effort to continue to perpetuate hate towards the fandom and BTS themselves through their fans. Not the same exactly, but similar enough I'll make the comparison.
Your opinions are your own and are very valid. I'm not trying to change your mind about liking fansites. I don't love them necessarily either because I would HATE the constant flashing lights everywhere I went ever if I was them. But I also understand the nuance here and the difference between the hysteria stan spaces have made the fansite issues sound and what they actually are and how long they've been around for. Again, your choice over how you engage with them and how you feel about them. And all choices around that are valid. In my opinion. As long as you aren't supporting antis disguised as fansites, I don't see a problem with them in general. For me personally.
Hope that helped answer your question anon. Thank you for asking it respectfully.

" First of all, I absolutely adore your writing style. It’s so good!
I wanted to request an extended story for yandere fanboy Seonghwa vs fanboy Minho.
Thank you! "
Dazzling Light - Park Seonghwa
💌 This is: Requested
summary: yandere!fanboy!seonghwa doesn't like another male fansite dedicated to you
taglist: @yunhobabygurl @atiny-chocolate-chip @minhyukmyluv @yunhoandonly
Seonghwa brought his black bangs a bit away from his eyes and then raised his white mask up to the bridge of his nose as more people continue to flock around the mall.
Today is the day Starlight would be promoting their new album, perform a couple of songs before the members would draw the raffle and three winners would either win: a signed poster, a set of signed polaroids or a set of limited photocards.
But Seonghwa didn't minded the prizes, he only came to the event for you. Your bubblegum pink hair and new makeup look had Seonghwa staring at you in awe in front of his laptop, the whole day he couldn't stop gushing about your new look.
While Seonghwa stood in front of the stage, standing behind the barricades that the securities placed, the female fans of Starlight, both local and international, couldn't help but stop and stare at him. Though he was clad in all black and had a mask covering the lower half of his face, he was eye catching and breathtaking. Some of them would raise their phones and take pictures of Seonghwa, some were bold enough to ask to have a picture with him, but failed as he would decline them.
While Seonghwa patiently waited for the show to start, another male fan came into the circle. He was a fresh face, at least to Seonghwa; the new boy in his eyes had a pointy nose, dark brown eyes and milky skin. He looked innocent and dewy eyes while holding a dslr camera. Raising a brow slightly and cocking his head to the side, Seonghwa's eyes wandered around the new boy, only to lock his eyes on the keychains of his backpack.
The mini keyring lightstick of Starlight and a keychain of your name on a bright pink glittered jelly strap.
Seonghwa could feel anger rising through his body. You didn't needed another male fansite, Seonghwa could be that for you. He thought maybe he was a new fan into the group and didn't know his way around. To add up to his foul mood, he was in the area close to the stage, close to Seonghwa.
Seonghwa eyed those spring fans and printed pictures of you that was brought by other fans. 'I could use those to block his view' he thought to himself. However, his thoughts were interrupted when Starlight came onto the stage.
With his camera in hand, Seonghwa told himself that he would take better shots of you, showing her best features and pretty angles. Wherever you went on stage, his camera would follow you, and below his camera, is another camera that was taking videos of you, focused only on you.
Hours after the show ended and Seonghwa had gone back to his home, he sat on his sliding chair and worked on uploading the photos from his camera to his laptop, opening photoshop to smoothen your skin, enhancing the photos and then blurring other people's faces. It took him hours to get the photos edited but once he was done editing them, he went on to his website and uploaded them.
Not a minute passed by and his photos already garnered five hundred likes and reblogs. 'As expected' Seonghwa told himself. He lingered on the fan cafe more, reading posts how the comeback album sounded so good, liked a few posts about you, until he came across a post about the new fansite dedicated to you.
" Y/N's fanboys are so handsome ㅜㅜ "
" Heol....so handsome "
" His website is @DaLight !! "
" Hwalight is more of my type "
" HwaLight is really handsome and takes good pictures of Y/N. But DaLight is so cute!! "
" I bought fan made merchandise of Y/N from DaLight and met up with him around XXX. He was so polite and kind, I think my heart stopped beating... "
" HwaLight is so mysterious. But I still prefer him. "
Seonghwa went on to another website and decided to stalk the new boy and his photography skills. He was fairly impressed with how creative and cute the concept of his website is but the shots? He still preferred his own.
Letting the new blood off, he clicked the X button and turned off his laptop.

The Voice That Keeps Following Me
❣The Voice That Keeps Following Me❣
The sequel for Voices I Can’t Run Away From is finally here. I chose to make it a sequel and not a 2-part story, because I wrote the first one thinking of it as a stand-alone story, but I was requested a second part and I really like how it turned out! Hope you enjoy it too!

Day 134
Look at my family.
My mind sometimes likes to play and pretends to be a camera, it goes through life slowing moments down around me, allowing me to bask in the emotions that they gift me. And then it stores them, there in my fondest memories. I have a lot of them to choose from when my thoughts get dark, the light they emanate is enough to shut the whispers in my mind.
The warm embrace of my members is one that comes very often, but it was that night around four months ago that I first felt like someone really loved me. But do they really? And I try not to look back from that. Or do I?
The sun was high in the sky, a warm and welcoming spotlight that followed us through your late winter promotions, the chilly winds still rattled the thin hair in your forearms, but there was no more snow falling from the sky. The windows in the van didn’t fog like before and you could watch little flowers sprout all over the city as spring felt closer and closer.
Your favorite song was blasting through your right earpod, while the other ear enjoyed the background noise of Yoohyeon and Bora bickering in the seats in front of you. Yubin sat by your side, ignoring all reality happening before her while playing a game on her phone.
A light chuckle escaped your lips when you caught a glimpse of SuA tossing what could have been a sock to Yoohyeon, hitting her straight in the face. The latter just turned around, dumbfounded as Bora’s sudden laugh even managed to make Yubin raise her view to her. She then turned her head towards you, her eyes asking for an explanation. You didn’t play attention to the reason why, so you could only offer her back an affiliative smile and a shrug. It seemed to be enough for her, since these two always going at each other every single day was a good source of entertainment.
Your eyes travelled outside, discovering that you were already at your destiny. The fansign venue was already surrounded by a long line of eager fans waiting for you, and as soon one spotted the van, they all turned around to wave at you. Except for one guy that stood out for you from the others for not matching the excitement around him. All dressed in black, the hoodie covering up half of his face.
They’re still here, and they won’t go until you go down with them.
A sudden chill went down your spine, just as every time that you had to encounter an audience face to face, but shaking your head, you were quick to shut it down as the rest of the fans excited smiles and screams muffled behind the window drew a smile on your face, one that you didn’t get that often.
The car stopped it’s movement just behind the venue and the door opened, letting all unfiltered light into your eyes. Yoohyeon and Bora got out of the van and then the manager helped you and Yubin out too. As soon as your feet touched the ground, you felt an arm intertwined with yours, pulling you closer.
“Y/n!” Bora’s voice boomed as you identified her by your side. “If… Let’s say, you hypothetically had a favorite Unnie, who would that be?”
You stared at her trying to analyse what the best answer to that question could be, you loved all your members equally, but something in her voice told you that the question had a tricky part that she wasn’t telling you about.
Your suspicions were confirmed when you raised your view, Yoohyeon shaking her head at the scene before her.
“It’s probably Handong-unnie.” You answered nonchalantly.
“Y/n-yah!” Bora let go and slapped your arm playfully, pouting her lips. “You were supposed to say me! Alright then. Yubin!-”
“Mine’s Minji.” She answered without letting the older even breathe.
“Ah!” Bora whined, cutely hoping in her place. “Why am I no one’s favorite?! That’s not fair!”
“Maybe because you jump in my bed when I’m trying to sleep?” Yoohyeon added.
“Or because you belt in my ear to scare me when I try to read?” Yubin scoffed.
“Or…” You thought of something to add, but Bora hadn’t been anything but loving to you most of the time. Yes, her way of showing love was sometimes super clingy and loud but, you loved her that way, so you couldn’t really come with a better excuse. “Or maybe because you’re just not Dongie-Unnie.”
She deadpanned towards you, crossing her arms over her chest.
“At this rate I’ll never win the bet against Minji,” She sighed. She turned around, just when the other van was pulling up behind yours. Her eyes lit up, as she ran towards it. “Gahyeon-ah!!”
The three of you laughed out loud, shaking your heads at the occurrences of your older member. You walked towards the entrance of the building together, your laugh still dying down when you heard Gahyeon mumble in the distance followed by Bora’s loud whine.
“I hope Minji gives us our part of whatever she bet against her,” Yoohyeon chuckled, holding the door open as you entered the building.
We walked towards a large room with some couches and chairs, a table full of snacks and a wall entirely made of mirrors. Even decorated with some of your comeback posters on the other walls.
You walked towards the table, scanning carefully the snack offerings over it. Amongst some chocolate bars, caramels and beverages, you grabbed a bag of chips to snack as you waited to go outside.
“Good news everyone!” Minji entered the room with her arms wide open, a huge grin on her face. “Today’s dinner is on Bora!”
The seven of you cheered loudly as the latter just pouted, her arms still crossed and her eyebrows furrowed and plunged into a couch near you. You decided to come approach her, taking the seat besides her. You snacked on your bag of chips silently when you decided to turn to Bora and offer her some, she accepted them as she grumbled under her breath. The sight made you chuckle, seeing the most enthusiast member of your group all moody over a bet, but as the seconds passed, you started missing her energetic spirit.
“Unnie…” You leaned over to her, sweetening your voice. “If you buy tteokbokki, I promise you’ll become my favorite.”
She snapped her head towards you,her eyes squinting with suspicion and temptation to your offer. You smiled at her in the most innocent way that you could, bringing out your puppy eyes which you knew she couldn’t resist.
“Ah fine,” She cupped your cheeks with her hands, pinching your cheeks. The sudden gesture that prompted you to drop your mask, trying hard to get off her grip. “Just because you are my favorite maknae, even if you broke my heart in a million pieces. Just don’t tell the others.”
“I won’t, I promise.” Your voice muffled by the pressure that her hands were applying to your cheeks. You raised your hand, painting at her hands over your face “Can you… let go?”
“Never.” She released your face, but you didn’t get to savor freedom for long since she wrapped her body around yours, cuddling into you.
A sudden blush invaded your cheeks, softening your pride. You let yourself cuddle into Bora, while a smile kept growing in your face.
And then, time slowed down as you let your eyes wander through the space. Minji and Siyeon are laughing in the corner, the white walls reflecting in the sparks in their eyes. Gahyeon and Yoohyeon bickering around Handong, but the oldest of them just smirked at the probably childish discussion they had going on. Yubin was silently existing by my side on the couch, reading what seemed like her hundredth book in the month. You still didn’t know how she managed to do it with all the activities of the comeback. And then there was Bora, cuddled in her arms, making you feel like you were protected from everything in the world.
You sighed, savoring the emotions in the moment, your heart warming up at the sight of the best family that the world was able to give you ever.
But, are you really sure that you deserve all of this? After all you made them go through?
Thankfully, the voice in your mind was broken when a manager opened the door, calling everyone out to the stage to start the fansign.
You stood up from the couch, as you felt your body shaking nervously. This being your first fansign since the last comeback, and the “incident”. That’s how you and the members preferred calling it without inviting back unwanted feelings and memories.
They were quick to notice your nerves and approach to surround you in that familiar and safety blanket that they were all so used to being part of. Shanking your head, you released a shaky breath out of your lips and nodded, the girls taking the sign to move forward.
You could hear the deafening cheers of Insomnias from the other side of the hallway, as your heart ramped up it’s speed. Unsure if that was nerves or excitement, you wrapped the first hand that you could, that being Siyeon’s.
“Hey,” She turned around, offering you a conforming smile. “We’ve got your back, you’ll be okay Y/n.”
You nodded, leaning into her shoulder as you kept walking towards the main stage where your fans were already waiting for you. The door to the stage opened, making the shouts from Insomnia even louder. Your table with eight chairs and a bottle of water was already waiting for you too. The staff handed you each one microphone as you crossed the door.
The bright lights of the auditorium blinded you as you made your way into the stage, cheers cramming your ears. It took a few seconds for your senses to get used to all the sudden stimulation, but once they did, you were greeted with your fans waving and smiling at you.
You smiled back at them, offering them finger hearts and flying kisses. The clics from the fansites cameras refuse to cease, as you greeted your few acquaintances that sat between the audience. But as your eyes scanned around, you landed on that same man that you spot outside. With his hoodie still over his face, he wasn’t jumping up and down or smiling like the rest of the people around him. All you could see was a faint smirk in the shadow, as he slowly clapped to match the rest of the people.
“Let’s introduce ourselves!” You heard Minji clap to get the attention of the group, and you quickly stood in a straight line facing your audience. “One, two-”
“Dream of me! Hello, we are Dreamcatcher!” All of you chorused together, pumping up your fans even more. Each one of them introduced themselves, one after the other. Gahyeon was last, and everyone remained silent.
“Hello! It’s Y/n!” You cheered through your microphone. The audience exploded louder than before. Even hearing some ‘We’ve missed you!’ and other ‘Insomnia loves you!’. You turned to your members, to find them all grinning widely at you, which made you blush intensely.
But then again, your eyes had to land on that one unenergetic guy in the audience, still with the same grin and slowly clapping in his seat.
Maybe they didn’t really miss you, maybe the group was better when you were gone.
You shook your head, trying to get the thought out of your head. But it kept nagging in there. Trying to talk, your lips parted as words got up your throat but never past your lips. You didn’t realize how shaky your hand was until you felt Yoohyeon’s trying to get a grip of it.
Closing your eyes and letting her hand embrace yours, you took a deep breath, and finally the last thought got foggy enough to let you talk.
“It’s good to see you all again!” You stammered through the microphone, earning the cheers of the room, even your members.
After some light chat between everyone sat at their places as the staff helped Insomias line up, they eagerly smiled, excited as they waited for their turn to go up and talk to all of you. Minji, who sat by your side, placed her hand over yours and only her glance and smile was enough to make you feel safe.
Each one of the fans that talked to you beamed with light and joy, filling your table with so many gifts and letters that you wished you could give them back something more than just your signature.
A cute, young little girl came hopping to your place holding her album in hand, carrying a very particular gift with her. A bag of chips that you hadn’t eaten since… since the day you returned home after the incident. After saying hello and quickly signing the album, she rushed into conversation with you, something you didn’t mind cause you were extremely curious about her gift.
“My grandpa remembered that you liked this type of chips,” The girl extended the gift to you, taking them with delivered surprise as your eyes scanned them. “He wanted me to tell you that he hopes you’re doing good and that he’s proud of you!”
“Wait, how did he know it was me?” You chuckled, apparently being grubby, behind a bucket hat, a baggy sweatshirt and lowering your voice was not enough to hide yourself.
“He says it was intuition. Or maybe just your voice.” The girl giggled nervously. “But when he came home that night, he told me that everything was going to be okay, that you were alright. I trust him.”
“He did help me a lot that day, your grandpa is a great man.” Your talking minute was running out, so you reached across the table and put your hands on her, offering her a warm smile. “Always be kind to everyone, who knows where I would be right now if it wasn’t for the kindness of your grandpa.”
“I will always be Unnie!” The girl squealed in happiness as she moved to the next seat to talk with Minji.
“Say hi to him!” You added last minute and she nodded before turning to take care of the fan now in front of you.
More and more gifts started milling up around you, even flower bouquets adorned your surroundings and the rest of DreamCatcher, the managers walking around and taking some of them away from you to store backstage so the entire table wouldn’t end up engulfed in gifts.
You were so into the fansign, talking to all your lovely Insomnias, that you didn’t notice beforehand about the one thing that unnerved you. Turning around to face the fan in front of you, there he stood, the ominous hooded guy.
You tried greeting him with the same enthusiasm as the rest of your fans, but you were taken aback when instead of the usual cheery and giggle response, he just muttered a nonchalant ‘hi’ back at you.
You took his album, searching for the note with your name on it to know exactly where to sign. Finding it, you flicked to that page, but a cold chill traveled down your spine when you opened it.
Your pictures were scratched, painted and splattered over in a dark, thick, red tint. And over it, scribed in big black letters over everything, it read:
‘DreamCatcher will always be 7’
Told you
“Wha-?”
You heard a clock that snapped your head up. Facing a gun pointed straight at you.
They’re going down and taking you down with them. One last time.
And then time stopped. A cold drop of sweat travelled down your spine, as a knot tightened in your throat. Your eyes wandered around, a hundred smiles completely oblivious to the sight right in front of you. All that was left was to close your eyes, hoping everything to be quick and painless.
“Y/N!”
You heard your name be screamed just before a loud bang, returning you to this existential plane. But when your eyes shot open, you found yourself hitting the floor with your shoulder.
A cacophony of screams and people in plain panic ensued, the hooded man was tackled into the ground, and people ran left and right unsure on where to run away.
You tried getting up to get a better view of everything happening on the other side of the table, but a sharp burning bolt of pain travelling your body all the way from your shoulder pinned you down in your place. You turned to it, your entire sleeve covered in a red, thick and warm liquid. Your arm limped, only hanging from your increased numbing shoulder. The tingle in the tip of your fingers increased and travelled through your palm as you stared in horror, as the puddle of blood extended through all your outfit.
“We need an ambulance!” You heard one of your managers shout from one side of the venue, as the noise in the auditorium got more and more muffled to your ears.
“Y/N!” Minji’s shadow covered the light above you as she approached, her heavy breathing and shaky voice calling your name over and over under her breath as she kneeled by your side. “Gosh, no, no”
“What’s going on?” You cried, barely any noise coming out of your mouth. Using your remaining strength, you reached with your hand towards your members, who urgently surrounded you. Along with other managers who moved fast around you, discussing stuff that you weren't able to hear anymore.
“We need to stop the bleeding, NOW!” Yubin commanded, looking around the place for something to surround your injury tightly around, Siyeon and Handong following closely behind her.
“Please don’t leave me,” As your eyes flooded with tears, you somehow managed to crawl into Minji’s lap, “Please.”
“Never, Y/n-” Her eyes full of tears as well, hold you close, not minding getting stained by the red liquid that surrounded you by now.
Painfully, you turned your head to watch around. Gahyeon and Bora were bawling their eyes out between each other's eyes, Yoohyeon kneeling beside Minji in an effort of calming down both of them.
“Here!” Handong came back with a large piece of cloth, quickly kneeling besides you and fasting it up tightly around your arm and shoulder with the help of Siyeon and Yubin. Minji was refusing to drop her hold on you.
“Unnie, I’m so sorry” Your throat stinged at the words, dried up of the tears that came non stop through your eyes. “I’m so sorry about everything.”
Your vision started fogging up, as you barely heard a siren outside, followed by the main door being pushed open, and voices of various people approaching. Fighting to keep your eyes, you wrapped one of your member's clothes with the remaining strength left in your body.
“Stay with us, please.” Siyeon’s voice was distant, but your eyes caught her lips moving as the words entered your brain. “Stay.”
But you couldn’t stop fighting against the weight of your eyelids. The noise surrounding you shut up completely, and the shadows that surrounded you were swallowed by complete darkness.

Day 135
I know they’re here. I can hear them sometimes, but they can’t hear me. How much time do you think they’ll keep up with you? Please don’t leave me. Please.
Bora’s fingers traveled up and down your static hand with a gentleness that could put anyone to sleep. But this time it was the other way around. Surrounded by tubes full of unknown liquid flowing into your body, metal structures that seemed to keep the room’s gray walls from falling apart and the rattling but thankfully constant beeping of your heart monitor, everything she wished was for you to wake up.
Handong lay asleep across the couch on the other side of the bed, with only a weighted blanket covering her body from the chilly air circling the room, her head resting on the also asleep Yoohyeon who covered herself with around three thick jackets. The three of them volunteered to take the night watch in the hospital, replacing Minji and Yubin who refused to leave the hospital as you were received in the emergency room and stood by your side for the entirety of the first day. The managers insisted all of them to stay back at their dorm, but were quickly cut off by every girl, standing their ground on never letting you go again.
The first rays of sun peeked through the shades over the window, bringing a dim but warm light into the room with them. Bora’s tired eyes raised to watch the faint silhouette of the sunset through them. A knock on the door made her snap her head towards it, waking up the other two girls in the process.
“Come in?” Handong groggily whispered while standing up straight on the couch, rubbing her eyes.
The heavy door opened, revealing the other four members' tired faces behind it.
“How was your night?” Minji entered the room, hands deep in her pockets as she approached the feet of the bed, staring up and down at your weakened body laying before her. “Did you get some rest?”
The three girls already in the room shook their heads in unison, with Yoohyeon even burying her face between her hands.
“I never thought that a place so silent could be so…” She whispered, her eyes wandering all over the room, unfocused. “Restless.”
“There wasn’t much sleep at the dorm either.” Gahyeon added, sitting besides Bora as she carefully took a strand of hair away from your seemingly sleeping face.
“We brought you some coffee…” Siyeon handed their drinks to Yoohyeon, Handong and Bora before sitting in a chair on the other corner of the room. “I hope it at least helps you stay awake”
“Any news?” Yubin closed the door behind her, laying against the wall. Crossing her arms as she scanned the room with her eyes.
“Well,” Bora stretched her arms, standing up from her chair as she kept stretching her entire body in the process. “The doctor said that everything is stable, all vital organs are okay and that Y/n will only need some rehabilitation in her arm and shoulder. So, she’ll be fine.”
Everyone let out a deep sigh of relief, as Gahyeon leaned down to leave a kiss on your temple, a fair smile crossing her lips.
“I’m sorry we couldn’t protect you enough.” Gahyeon whispered to you as she rested her head over her hands on the edge of the bed.
“But it shouldn’t be our responsibility to have to go around being careful and trying not to get killed,” Yubin scoffed as she paraded around the room. “That’s just sick.”
“I’m glad they caught that bastard.” Siyeon snapped. “And I hope he rots in the deepest rings of hell that disgusting son of a-”
“Siyeon, the kids!” Minji covered Gahyeon’s ears as she covered yours. Her expression softened for a second, twisting her lips in agreement. “But you do raise a very valid point.”
Minji let Gahyeon’s ears go slowly and cautiously, in case any of the older girls decided lo let their dirty tongue roam free again.
“But what I still don’t understand,” Yoohyeon rested her head over her knuckles, as she leaned forward over the edge of the couch. “How can there be people who still don’t want her in the group?”
“We will never make everyone happy,” Handong responded. “I wouldn’t be surprised if there was someone out there who still thinks you should have stayed with the Minx concept.”
The audible groans of Yoohyeon, Minji, Bora, Siyeon and Yubin filled the entire room, facepalms, shrinked shoulders, rolled eyes, their mouths hissing and lips twisting in a physically painful display of a cringy memory flooding their minds. The image encouraged a chuckle out of Gahyeon and Handong, who enjoyed teasing the others with their past.
“While I understood your point perfectly,” Yubin's unimpressed muffled voice stuttered. “there was absolutely no need to take it that far, thank you.”
“But she’s right,” Siyeon pointed out. “There’s people who don’t agree with us, but we now know there’s more people that actually like Y/n a lot! And, if she still wants to be in the group with us after all this, whoever doesn’t agree can walk through the door and never come back.”
“If she wants to be in the group?” Gahyeon glanced back at Siyeon, perplexed.
“Y/n’s been through a lot already,” Bora added. “Even though we love her, we wouldn’t force her to stay if she doesn’t want to.”
“And if she wants to go back home,” Siyeon continued. “We’ll respect her decision too.”
The atmosphere around the room got tense. Everyone understood and agreed perfectly, but it didn’t mean that they wouldn’t miss you if you decided to leave the group.
“Do you know when her family will come? The manager told us they were trying to contact them.” Yoohyeon asked the other girls, trying to break the awkward silence. “Maybe we’ll finally get to meet them”
“They won’t be coming.” Minji shook her head, resting her hands on the footboard of the bed.
“Are they foreigners or something?” Handong leaned her head, curious at the leader’s response. “We could help them fly here if they want to-”
“No, yesterday the managers finally told me the reason Y/n never really talks about her family, and I think it’s time all of you know.” She sighed, raising her head and placing herself somewhere where everyone could see and hear her clearly. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes to focus. “Y/n doesn’t really know her family.”
“What do you mean she doesn’t know her family?” Siyeon eyebrows furrowed, trying to understand the oldest’s words.
“According to what I was told yesterday, she knows she had a family. But ever since she was a little child she had been jumping from foster home to foster home, until she became a trainee later.” Minji nodded, her lips forming a straight line as she got immersed in her own thoughts. Shaking them aside when she felt the pressure of the silence and the looks of the girls over her, she continued talking. “The staff was the one taking care of her after that and up until she debuted with us.”
“So, it’s almost as she doesn’t have a family.” Gahyeon trembled.
The stillness in the air became even more heavy over everyone’s shoulders now that it dawned on them the reality of the situation.
The sun now fully out of the horizon peaked through the window, illuminating the room with its warmth and hopeful brightness. Almost like a sign from the universe, a ray of light rested amicable over your peaceful, sleeping face.
Bora placed her hand over yours, caressing it gently with her thumb. After a few minutes of slumberous and wary silence, like a spotlight calling to her to raise her eyes, she scanned around the room, a delicate smile making its way to her lips as she came to a realization.
“Y/n does have a family.” Bora whispered, making all the girls raise their faces in confusion. One by one, as they locked their eyes with the other girls understood exactly what Bora was talking about, bringing kind grins into their faces.
As some happy tears started escaping some of the girls eyes, it dawned on them all your adventures together. All the hard and the pretty times, how everyone loved each other and accepted their highs and their lows. How every single one of them understood perfectly that blood is not what makes a family, but the unconditional love and support that all parts have for each other. Whatever you had going on in between, that was a family.
“She has us.” Yoohyeon nodded, posing her sight on your resting body.
Swallowed sobs reigned the air until a soft hum stood out. Like a ritual that you all had together now, Yubin’s gentle singing filled the air, the other girls recognizing the song immediately. Your song. One by one the other girls joined her, harmoniously swelling their surroundings with a much needed drop of hope for their soul. As the song continued, each one of them cuddled towards each other, seeking the warmth and comfort of their arms. A silent promise to deliver this and so much more to you for the rest of your lives.
The song was arriving to their end, as silence once again reigned the room when a sigh from the leader broke through.
“We’ll be here for Y/n, all the time she wants us to be by her side.” Minji flicked away a tear from her eye, nodding at her beautiful family around her.

Day 136
I’m still here, and I’m not going anywhere. As long as you live I’ll always be right behind you. I have so much left to give, just let me prove it.
A black canvas, covered in bright, sparkling freckles swallowed the sky, the horizon and the floor beneath you. The plain sound of your shaky breath echoed into eternity in every direction as you watched your feet walking on air. One step, two steps. Covered in a fair white robe, you felt the breeze dancing around you, but your skin didn’t perceive any cold from it, instead being embraced in a warm coating, from head to toe. Three steps, four steps. The stars around you didn’t seem to come closer or any farther as you kept advancing, but they all seemed to beat together at a constant beeping rhythm. Five steps.
A pair of bare feet met yours in a perfect reflection, and as you slowly raised your eyes. Whoever was standing right in front of you was wearing the exact same white robe as you, moved their hands the same way, breathed the same way… looked the same.
Standing right in front of a perfect reflection of yourself, you raised your hand towards your shoulder, pulling down the gown from it. Your reflection followed precisely, revealing your clean and well skin under. A relieved breath escaped your lips a little too soon, as quickly, a dark spot surged under your reflection's hand, spreading all over it’s arm, hand and chest.
You leaped behind startled but your reflection didn’t follow through, instead, it started stomping towards you, as the darkness climbed all the way to it’s face. Your hand frantically searched for your shoulder, but there was nothing over yours.
“Who are you!?” You pleaded, running backwards to keep your distance with the impostor.
“Don’t you recognize me Y/n?” Your reflection's voice gritted through the air as a crooked smile was painted in it’s lips. “It’s me, the real you.”
“No, no you are not.” You gasped back, with a hit of doubt that didn’t go unnoticed by the entity in front of you.
“You see? Not even you know who you are.” The reflection reached it’s completely darkened hand towards you, inviting you closer. “Then what makes you think I can’t be you?”
“I-” You stuttered, the never ending starry void where you kept running away also allowed this creature to stay mere inches away from you, no matter how much you seemed to pull yourself far away from it. “Please go away.”
“You know I never will,” It tilted it’s head, sneering back. “Everyone around you has never loved you enough to stay, but I’ll be the only one faithfull by your side forever.”
It didn’t have to hit so low, but there was this little spark burning inside you that kept you up on your feet to keep running, to keep fighting. Through the sting in your eyes, you watched the stars start beeping at a faster rate, ready to try one more time.
“They haven’t left me yet,” You fired back. Your reflection glitched it’s presence before letting out an evil chuckle that echoed through the void.
“But you already know they will!” It scoffed, halting its steps. “Then why wait for it to hurt even more?”
“Because they waited for me.”
All signs of fun were erased from your reflection's face, letting you breath out for a second. But a disgusted smirk plastered across its face as it turned itself into someone else. The wide and gentle smile, her arms that always welcomed you in and her brown eyes that always made you feel safe.
“Minji Unnie?...” You gasped.
“And once again, you come in and ruin absolutely everything for us.” The voice was on point, making you trip over your feet and fall down in surprise. “It would have been best if you d-”
“I heard her! She said my name!” Minji’s voice bounced around, but not coming from the bizarre Minji standing in front of you. “Shhh, it’s okay, you’re okay.”
The creature before you took your form again, it’s breath angrily rising. It quickly shapeshifted to another form.
“We don’t want you back!” It panted now as Bora, shouting to make its voice be heard over the accelerating heartbeat. “We don’t-”
“It’s okay, it’s all a dream!” Now it was Bora’s voice responding from beyond what your eyes could see. You saw your hand light up, warming up as if another hand graced on top of yours. “Everything’s gonna be okay. We’re here.”
The stars around you finally started getting closer, to both of you. The light engulfing both you and your reflection. It felt warm and gentle on your skin, but you couldn’t say the same thing for the other you in that place.
Loud screeches of pain as it battled against the bright light touching it’s skin, shrinking against itself in its own place. You felt your feet floating, like a certain force pulling you up from the starry sky. You felt a cold hand grab you from the hem of your gown, as it’s colorless eyes searched painfully for yours.
“YOU’LL NEVER GET RID OF ME!” Your bizarre reflection snapped back at you in desperation, almost like a cry for help.
“Maybe,” You looked back at it, and just for a second, it’s eyes mirrored your human color instead of being a black, empty void. “But I’ll never stop trying.”
The bright light of the room filled your view, as your eyes snapped open. Trying urgently to adjust to the new light, your eyes blinked and scanned from side to side, as the blurriness slowly dissipated. A flash of pain escurried from your shoulder all the way up your chest, arm and head, as you looked down to a freshly closed wound, a gauze tenderly placed above your stitches.
You looked at the shadows hovering above you, dazzled by the ceiling’s light once again when you turned your eyes up to one side. Two unknown faces, dressed up with scrubs were hurriedly taking your vitals, alternating the view between the monitors and you. Moving your eyes upward and to the other side, there they were.
Bora rested her head on the edge, caressing your hand with her thumb, looking it you with the brightest eyes you had ever seen, and hovering just above her, Minji, flicking off a stray tear away from her face and Dami, a glowing smile adorning her face, one that cutely wrinkled her eyes as her eyes refused to leave you.
“You’re finally back.” Minji whispered as her tender grin grew up across her face. “Everything’s gonna be okay.”
Bora tenderly caressed your cheek as her own eyes filled with tears unwilling to drop. With the strength available in your body, you offered back a smile that immediately broke her.
“We couldn’t bear the idea of losing you again,” She cried, clinging to your hand. “We missed you so much.”
“I’m not going anywhere Unnie, that’s a promise.” You mumbled back.
“Precisely young lady, you are not allowed to go anywhere yet. At least until tomorrow” One of the nurses added, making all of us chuckle and lightening up the aura in the room. “Your vitals are running as they should and your recovery seems to be advancing correctly, you’ll be staying just one more day here.”
All the room cheered at the good news, relieved. You raised the bed to sit up and chat with the girls about everything that had been happening throughout the days, how the bastard that shot you was convicted and dealt with, with no mercy. They told you about how all the industry took steps to ensure the safety of the idols thanks to this incident, fundraisers in your name against gun violence and regulations, and they way the world looked at this with their own eyes.
“Here, take a look at this,” Dami handed you her phone, a playful smile as she did. “Would be better to focus on the good.”
“Wow…” You scrolled down an infinite stream of positive and supportive messages from Somnias all over the world. Outpouring love and comfort on every social media, erasing any doubt in your mind on how the people received you. “I didn’t think they would like me that much.”
“We had the same feeling when we debuted as DreamCatcher too.” Minji added, recalling her memory. “But at the end, the ones that really love you are the ones who stick around.”
“And the ones who don’t can shove their opinions up their-”
“Bora!” Minji covered your ears quickly, as she snapped her eyes towards the other girl.
You chuckled at the image, with Dami a few steps behind trying to keep her laugh too. But the moment was interrupted quickly by a knock on the door, followed by a nurse peeking her head inside.
“Sorry for interrupting,” She excused herself, “Your family came to see you!”
“But I don’t have a fam-”
“I’m not shutting you up the way I would like just because you’re still healing,” Siyeon’s voice accompanied her silhouette as she entered the room, a bouquet of flowers in hand. Followed by Handong, Yoohyeon and Gahyeon, each one carrying a present in their hands. “But as your official big sister, I’ll patiently wait until that arm works again to do it so.”
The remark made you giggle as you glanced at the girls and the radiant auras they carried with them. Now surrounded by an endless supply of snacks, courtesy of Yoohyeon and Handong, the sweet smell of fresh flowers by Siyeon and a new fluffy friend to hug by Gahyeon and a lot of laughs, you couldn’t help but let some tears drop from your eyes.
“Why are you crying?” Yoohyeon approached the bed, handing you a tissue.
“This must be how it feels like…” You stuttered. “Having a family.”
“But you have one!” Gahyeon, who was sitting in the bed with you chimed in.
“I never told you before…” You swallowed, avoiding all their glances as you searched for the courage to come clean about your past. “But I have never met my family, so as far as I know, I don’t really have one.”
You looked up, only to be received by their tender smiles. Almost as if they already knew.
“What are we? Painted?” Handong sneered, making everyone laugh instantly. You giggled too, but your wondering eyes gave up that you were still a little confused.
“Family is so much more than blood lineage Y/n,” Minji added, trying to clear your mind. “And I really like the one that we have right here.”
Something clicked in your mind, calling even more tears to your eyes but a huge smile to your face. The girls all surrounded you in a careful but very welcome and warm hug. Submerged in the comfortable silence surrounding all of you, you could listen to some of the girls crying too.
But it didn’t matter anyway, you had everything that you ever wanted now.
“We’ll always be here for you Y/n.” Gahyeon whispered as she took your hand in hers. “We ain’t going nowhere.”
You nodded chuckling, cleaning some of your tears away from your cheeks, but they didn’t stop coming out of your eyes.
“Well, since you're being dismissed tomorrow,” Bora tried to light up the atmosphere a little. “What should we do to celebrate?”
“I suggest an arm wrestling tournament!” Siyeon barged in with a loud chuckle, making everyone turn around to face in disapproval. “It- It was just a joke.”
“But yeah! Putting all dangerous stuff outside,” Handong giggled looking back at you. “What do you want to do tomorrow when we’re finally back home?”
You scanned around at the bright faces surrounding you, each one bringing up that warm sensation on your chest. You had no idea what you did to deserve this much love in your life, but whatever it was, there was no way you would let it slip through your fingers again.
“Wherever you are,” You answered. “I’m already home.”

Waiting For You At The Airport-Jungkook
It’s not much but I just wanted to try and write again
Jungkook pulled down his mask, keeping it just under his chin. Cracking his tattooed fingers, he gave a sigh, his neck craning as he tried to look over the crowd. In Korea he was tall, but here, he was average, or maybe just above. He could see Namjoon out of the corner of his eye. The leader was talking to a manager, both staring at the arrival screen. Jungkook couldn’t quite make out the words, though he knew what time your flight was due in. He could hear the excited gasps from other waiting families and friends. The first sound of wheels on the tiled floor made him stand up straight, Namjoon doing the same. As the crowd around the barrier thinned, his heart started to pound. In a moment, all of that disappeared, a grin spreading across his lips as his heart picked up. Ignoring both Namjoon and his manager’s shouts to be careful, Jungkook raced forward.
“Hey, Kook.” You laughed, nuzzling your nose into the crook of his neck as Jungkook wrapped his arms around your waist even tighter, an audible breath leaving him. With a pause, almost a hesitance, Jungkook stepped back, still peering down at you, his hands on your hips.
“You okay?” You asked gently, placing a hand softly on his cheek. Jungkook gave a sniffle, nodding.
“Y/N, nice to see you again. How was your flight?” Namjoon asked, walking up to the two of you.
“Good thanks, though my legs are stiff from sitting in the same position for hours. I don’t know how you seven do it.”
“A private plane gives you space and freedom, I guess.” You laughed, nodding.
“I guess. Do you mind giving us a couple minutes?” Namjoon’s eyes darted towards Jungkook who was still staring at you, his eyes wet.
“Sure, quickly, though. We think someone might have spotted us.” Namjoon gave a reassuring smile before taking your black suitcase and wheeling it back to their manager.
“What’s wrong, Kook?”
“Tired, missed you. Namjoon’s stressed, everyone’s talking in English, and he’s trying his best, but it’s not good for him. And I wish I could do more.”
“Jungkook, you don’t need to speak English to help him. You have a couple days off, why don’t we try and study a couple sentences. Go exploring and take your mind off of it. I’m here for the rest of your tour. Jungkook nodded.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to tell you all this the minute I saw you.”
“Hey, it’s okay. It’s what I’m here for. I love you, you should be able to tell me your problems.” Jungkook smiled shakily, squeezing your hips before placing his lips on yours.
“Guys we need to go, there’s a crowd growing.” Jungkook groaned as Namjoon interrupted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The video from the fansite was too blurry on your small phone screen. Yet you could still pick him out of the seven. His oversized white jumper covered his arms, a black mask covering half his face. Even from here, you could tell he was tired, his eyes narrowed as he ran his hand through his hair. You weren’t sure what time the photos were taken. He hadn’t texted you so where he was on his way home, was a mystery. Sighing, you decided to try to find a better video, one more close up. Maybe people would consider it strange to hunt for videos of your boyfriend, but it was the one piece of evidence that he landed safely. You wished you could be there to welcome him home. But it was dangerous, more so back in Korea. Anyway, you weren’t so sure if he’d want to share his homecoming with you in front of his fans and paparazzi. As you scrolled, finally finding a video from a fansite that was quite well known, you heard the click of your front door. With the shutting of the door and the familiar padding of feet on the wooden floor, you knew who it was.
“Welcome home.” You spoke gently, already peeling back the blanket. Jungkook got in beside you, his arm lying across your stomach as he rested his head on your chest.
“Missed you.” Is all he spoke before he fell asleep, soft snores leaving him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You wondered what he would look like. It had been just under two years since you last saw him. He had spent his time off with his parents, sending you pictures of him at the beach. You were with him when he had to cut his hair, just a day before his enlistment day. You remember how he cried. How you both cried. Over 300 letters from him sat in a shoebox under your bed, Was it normal to be nervous? The guys who were back from their enlistment had made a plan to see him tomorrow. Just now was for you and him. He was due any minute, and your heart wouldn’t stop pounding. Wrapping your jacket a little tighter around you, you shifted your weight from one foot to the other. Finally, your heart dropped into your stomach. There he stood, dressed in camouflage, his hat slightly askew on his head. He was pale, his rucksack heavy on his back. Stepping forward, you made yourself seen, his eyes lighting up as he spotted you. He ran towards you, lifting you up, so your legs wrapped around his waist.
“It’s so good to see you.`” He almost cried out, his grip tight. You gave a laugh, lightly hitting his shoulder and forcing him to put you down.
“Let me see it.” Jungkook knew already what you were asking for. With a sigh, he took off his hat, leaning down so you could run your hand through the short haircut.
“It looks good.”
“You don’t have to lie to me Y/N.”
“Kook, it really does. Anyway, I wouldn’t care if you had neon pink hair, as long as you’re home.” Jungkook grinned, his shoulders dropping. You could tell the past couple years had taken a toll on him. You had only heard horror stories of people’s enlistment, and how your heart ached for him. You knew if he wanted to talk about it, he would tell you. Just now, he wanted some normality. “Now, do you want to go straight home, or go for some food?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hold on, don’t run!” You shouted after your four year old. Your two year old placed in the pram. Your youngest was asleep, clutching his soft white bunny. The plane ride was long, taking a toll on both you and your children. Jungkook was in America, more than ten hours away. Still, with your eldest on holiday and Jungkook missing home, you both decided a vacation would be good. Sat in between them on the plane, you had to multi-task, your head spinning in all directions. You could tell you looked tired, your eyes were narrowed, your hair in a slight mess as your youngest spent a period not wanting to let it go.
“Keep holding your suitcase please.” Your eldest was getting tired, the small bumblebee suitcase full of his toys and activities almost being left behind. You didn’t have enough hands to carry everything, all you could hope for was Jungkook at the end of the corridor. Pausing at the side of the passageway, you let the other passengers pass as you took out your three passports, pulling up your joggers and pulling your hair into a ponytail. Your son fidgeted, spinning his suitcase around. It wasn’t his first time on a plane, but the wonder wasn’t lost on him. Retaking the pram and your suitcase, you started to walk towards the double doors, a sigh of relief leaving you, as your son screamed out, running to the familiar figure.
“Hi.” You sighed out. Despite how you were feeling you couldn’t help but smile at the sight of your eldest in Jungkook’s arms, snuggling into his father’s side.
  “How was the flight?” He asked, crouching down to wake his youngest who still slept in the pram. Peering up at you, he kept the grin on his face.
“Trust me, you don’t want to know.”
Jet Lag✈️
1) you and Mark are both idols and you're on video call from different countries and you miss each other. You surprise Mark secretly visiting Korea and you then surprise him in his room and you guys cuddle and stuff ^~^
@smolninja thank you for your request! I hope it’s everything you wanted! I’m sorry for the delay, I had so many issues with Tumblr and accidentally deleted it when I was like 70% done it was so sad. Nonetheless, I really liked writing it! Enjoy :)
Warnings: mild swearing
Word Count: 3k
Genre: Fluff, slight angst
Fem Idol!reader x Mark Lee
The set up: you’re in a 7 member kpop group called Girl Trouble and you’ve just finished the first concert of your Japanese tour. We’re pretending corona doesn’t exist :) The general public does not know that you are dating Mark Lee
-----
You feel the van come to a stop as flashing lights bloom from outside the tinted windows, waking you from your much needed sleep.
“We’re at the hotel y/n,” your bandmate, Yeeun, informs, fixing her hair in her phone camera to make sure she was ready to be photographed.
The excited cheers coming from the street bring you out of your sleepy stupor and you stretch your arms above you in a big yawn.
“How do I look?” you ask Nayoo, your best friend in the group who’s sitting next to you, touching up her concealer.
“Perfect as always y/n, duh,” she replied, playfully winking as she put her stuff away.
“Ok I’m opening the door!” you warn as you grab the handle and take a deep breath, putting on your best smile.
Swinging the door open, you’re met with an uproar of fans calling out your name and a storm of camera flashes eager to capture your latest look. It was your group’s first time in Japan so the fans were especially excited to finally have the chance to see you.
*Click click click click*
You stepped out of the car as gracefully as you could, smile never faltering as you showed off your pearly white teeth and prize-winning dimples. Brushing your hair back slightly as you walk, you tease your new gold earrings as a subtle endorsement to the brand. Your members following suit, you wave to the crowd and make your way to the entrance, nodding at a few fansites you recognized.
- - -
Throwing yourself onto the bed, your freshly showered hair promptly soaks through the comforter but you couldn’t care less.
“Ugh...,” you sighed, melting into the plush goodness of the hotel mattress, “I’m so goddamn tired.”
If only he were here with you...
“Oh!” you gasp, head shooting up from your now wet pillow, “I promised I’d call!”. You rolled off the bed and scrambled to find your phone in your bag, suddenly wide awake.
“You’re calling loverrr boyyyy?” Nayoo teased, dragging out the letters because she knew how much you hated it.
“Stopppp!” you whined, throwing your soggy pillow at her and trying to hide the growing blush on your cheeks.
Frantically unlocking your phone, you scroll through your contacts to find your boyfriend, heart racing with anticipation. It’s been a few weeks since you’ve seen Mark and you know it’ll be a few more until you have the chance. You promised each other to call whenever you could, but with NCT dream having a new comeback and Girl Trouble was starting to be really popular, there was only so much you could do. On top of that, it was stressful trying to keep your relationship a secret with all of the prying eyes around you and Mark’s intense fan base. Nevertheless, you’ve been going strong for about 8 months now you know that everything, every struggle, is worth it because of how much you truly love him.
Calling: Baby💕💋🦁...
You don’t bother to fix your makeup-less face and frizzy hair because you know that he’ll say you’re beautiful.
You smile at the thought of him as the FaceTime chimes ring.
*whoom*
“Marky!” you whisper cry, heart racing with excitement as you see his face for the first time in days.
“Baby!” Mark squeals back in the same tone, losing himself to giggles as you both giddily recover from the excitement of getting to see each other. You can hear the sound of voices mocking him in the background and Chenle’s piercing scream cuts through the audio.
“How have you been, baby?” you ask adoringly, ignoring the dreamies and look longingly at the boy in round glasses and his favorite grey hoodie.
“Shut up guys! I’m trying to talk to y/n!” he yells back at them, met with only more mocking and screaming. Sighing and giving up, he turns back to the camera, “Ah you know, I’ve been alright. We’ve been pretty busy with practice. I’m actually at practice right now if you can’t tell”. He pans the camera to the other members of dream who are clearly only taking a break because Mark made them stop for this phone call.
Guilt grips at you as you realize how you were probably inconveniencing them. After all, it was getting late and they all have to stay even later now because of you.
“Oh... if now’s not a good time we can always try tomorrow,” you offer, smiling slightly but not enough to hide your disappointment and guilt.
“Aw baby I’m sorry,” Mark soothes, “don’t worry about us I didn’t mean it like that. I missed you so much and these guys can spare a few minutes it’s fine”.
“I wish you were here, Mark. Or I was there,” you whisper, lying down on your bed once again. Placing your phone in front of you, it’s almost, almost, as if he were there lying with you.
Mark wears a pensive expression as he looks down, using his free hand to fiddle with his hoodie strings.
“Yeah. Me too”.
His voice is strained as he thinks about the nights you’ve snuck out together and the secret dates you shared. He misses the way you feel in his arms and the way your soft hair felt when it tickled him awake in the morning. He misses your terrible dad jokes and your night cooking. It was really frustrating how you were both so young and so in love, but everything else in life had to get in the way. Mark really missed you.
You reach out instinctively to stroke his hair but instead of comforting the boy you loved, your hands are met with only the cold surface of your screen.
The two of you talked for a few more minutes, trying to make the most of the time before he had to go. You could tell by the way his voice strained that he was really exhausted.
When he finally hung up, you couldn’t shake the empty feeling off; not being next to him, being able to touch him, to comfort him, to be with him was the worst feeling in the world.
And before you could stop yourself, warm tears began to fall as your shoulders shook with your heartbroken sobs. Video calls were supposed to make you miss each other less, not more. You loved him so much that you’d miss him even if he was right there with you. Being apart was devastating.
“Oh, honey…,” Nayoo coos, crawling into your bed to give you a much needed hug, “It’s okay. It’s going to be okay. Let it out”.
Wrapping your arms around your best friend, you let the tears fall onto your already soaked pillow and spilling out the feelings you’ve kept buried inside for so long.
“I just miss him so much,” you gasp, squeezing your fists around the fabric of Nayoo’s sweatshirt.
“Oh I know y/n, I know,” she comforted, “remember back when we were trainees and you just started dating Mark? And I was always there to distract Manager Kim when you snuck out to meet him?”.
You let out a small laugh at her attempt to lighten the mood. Nayoo was truly a good friend and she always had your back. You were really lucky to have her in your life.
“I do, Nayoo. I never thanked you enough for that”
“You know I love you. I’d do it again now if you wanted to sneak out and meet him. Actually I bet you could pull it off since our next show isn’t for another 4 days”
“Wait…”
Both of you sat up at the same time, looking at each other with wide eyes.
------
“I can’t believe we’re doing this”
“Shush! We already bought the tickets there’s no backing out now”
“What if someone notices me?”
“They won’t. Look at you”
You looked in the mirror of the lobby bathroom you were hiding in. You were dressed in plain, unbranded clothes, your hair tucked in a low, messy bun. The majority of your face was covered by a mask and a baseball hat, making you look nearly unidentifiable to anyone looking.
“I guess,” you sighed, still nervous, “let’s just go over the plan again”.
“Alright sheesh,” Nayoo groaned, “as if I am not a wizard of distracting our manager. You’ll get into the Uber we just called and go to Japan Airport. Your flight is at 2:30am and you’ll arrive in Korea at about 4:00am. Then you’ll go to Mark’s dorm and make out with him yadda yadda-”.
You punched her in the arm.
“Okay! Did I lie though? Anyways, you’ll be on your return flight the next day at the same time so you better savor your time. MY job is to tell Manager Kim that you are having lady problems and you can’t make it to practice today. He hates when we talk about periods so this is fool proof seriously. Plus we know that you will do fine on stage without one day of practice”.
“Okay…,” you chewed your lip nervously, half dreading the thought of being caught and half thrilled at the thought of being in Mark’s arms in a few hours. Your phone buzzed in your pocket and you looked at the notification.
*your Uber driver Ayako is here! Look for license plate A29&Q on a black Honda Pilot*
Hugging Nayoo goodbye, you rush out of the hotel and into the cab, adjusting your cap and mask to make sure it covers your face.
Each second that passed, you became more excited about seeing your boyfriend and less nervous about the consequences.
Mark, I’m here for you. I’m coming, just wait a little bit longer.
Your hands itched to call him and tell him what you were doing but you knew that he was catching up on some much needed sleep by now.
When you arrived at the Japan Airport, you thanked the driver and walked briskly through the airport. You had nothing except a small backpack and your plane ticket so getting through security was quick. Thankfully, there weren’t too many people there at 2 in the morning so you began to relax.
Successfully making it through security, you finally board the plane and claim your seat at the very back.
Looking out the window to the dark, starry skies, the lights of the airplane wings illuminate the drops of rain that began to fall.
-----
You jolt awake as the plane lands at the South Korea Airport with a rumbling thud. Your hands dart to your face to make sure your mask and hat are still there, sighing in relief when they remain unmoved.
Grabbing your bag, you walk down the aisle of the half-empty plane, each step bringing you closer to Mark.
Rushing out of the airport, your steps gain traction as you feel your heart racing in excitement at the thought of seeing your boyfriend so soon. The cold night air greets you familiarly as you call the nearest cab over. Telling the driver the address of Mark’s dorm building, you watch as the streetlights pass by and you near the boy you’ve been dying to see for weeks.
At last, you arrive at the steps of the apartment complex. Thanking the driver, you rush into the building and attack the elevator button going up. Your breathing is shallow with excitement knowing that he’s there right now. He’s there and you’re going to be with him.
Every second in the elevator feels like hours and you kick yourself for not taking the stairs. The floors seem like they’re all a mile away from the last and you tap your foot impatiently on the carpeted floor.
8...9...10
*Ding*
You speed out of the elevator and find your way expertly to the infamous 10th floor dorm room. Feeling around the crevices of the carpet floor for the spare key, you feel a slight twinge of nerves because you’re technically breaking into their home. But, as soon as you enter the familiar room, any guilt you have washes away and the only thing you can feel is the rapid beating of your heart filled with love and anticipation.
Making your way silently through the dark common room, you stop at the oh-so-familiar door. When your hand touches the cold metal of the doorknob, you swear that the beating of your heart was loud enough to wake the entire building.
Taking a deep breath, you open the door and you see him. Your breath hitches at your throat and you fight back the urge to cry right then and there. Mark was lying on his bed, snuggled under the covers with his arms and legs wrapped around a pillow like he always does when he sleeps. His soft breathing was rhythmic and calming, the warm scent of his room inviting you in.
Without wasting another second away from him, you drop your bag on the messy floor and walk up to his bed. Carefully, you pull at the pillow in his embrace and replace it with your own body. Mark shifts slightly and you freeze, not wanting to wake him up from his rare sleep. His eyes remain closed and his arms instinctively tighten around you. You can see through the darkness that his eyebrows furrow slightly and his lips part, and you wonder if he knew you were there.
“Finally,” you thought to yourself, reaching up slowly to caress his hair, “we’re finally together”. It didn’t feel real. You couldn’t believe that you were finally here in his arms. His body was so warm and felt like home to you.
You can feel Mark’s fingers autonomously rub circles into your back. As if his body realized what was happening, Mark’s eyes opened slowly and he peered into your face, blinking slowly to process this new information.
“I’m here, Mark,” you whisper as softly as you can.
Without any hesitation, Mark leans forward and presses a deep kiss onto your lips, conveying ten thousand words with his actions that could only be interpreted as “I missed you so much”.
You kiss him back, fingers gripping onto his shirt with raw emotion in an “I missed you too”. You breathe in deeply, not wanting to forsake any aspect of him, taking in all of his scent and drinking it all like a flower with no water.
He pulls away with a sigh and presses his forehead against yours. Mumbling incoherent words, you notice that he seems to have fallen back asleep.
Your own eyelids feel heavy and they flutter closed as you succumb to the warm welcome of sleep, your heart whole with love.
-----
Dull beams of sun fell slanted through the curtains as you drifted awake the next morning. You felt a hand playing with your hair and you opened your eyes slowly, temporarily forgetting what you had done the night before. Memories flooded back and your attention narrowed in at the smiling boy in front of you.
“You’re really here,” Mark whispered, “how are you here?”.
“It’s a long story,” you whispered back, voice still hoarse from sleep.
He pulled you in closer to his chest and you gladly snuggled into his warm body, nuzzling at his favorite hoodie, the one you got him for Christmas.
“I thought it was all a dream when I saw you last night,” he admitted.
“Stay with me today?,” you ask, worried that your time together would be short. If he had to go to practice, you could hardly see him at all and you’d go back to missing him a thousand miles away.
“I’m not going anywhere today,” Mark replies, kissing the top of your head, “my wishes have finally come true and you magically appeared in my bed. I’d be an idiot to leave”.
You giggled at his words, working your fingers to draw shapes into his back.
You start to tell him what happened after you called him the night before and how devastated you were when you weren’t with him. Mark’s arms tightened around you as you told him you cried when you saw how tired he was and you weren’t there to cheer him up. You told him about how you put on a disguise and snuck around Manager Kim who thought you were dying right now. His body shook with laughter at the crazy night you had and you both agreed that this was the wildest thing you had ever done.
“How long are you gonna stay here?”
“My flight back to Japan is at 2:30am tomorrow morning. What time is it now?”
Mark shifts to unlock his phone on the nightstand.
“It’s 10:49am”
You sighed and buried your face deeper into his chest, trying to get impossibly closer to the love of your life and make the most of your hard-earned time together.
“Let’s do everything today,” you heard him say.
“What do you mean?” you ask, tilting your chin up to look at him, pressing a small his to his jaw.
“Let’s just do everything we always wanted to do. Let’s get ramen from the convenience store together and then go on a walk at the park. Let’s get matching sweaters from the mall and then full sugar boba tea. You’ll drink half of mine and I’ll let you because I’m a good boyfriend”. Mark giggles at his imagination and peppers kisses across your face.
You laugh at the ticklish sensation and your heart swells with love for the Canadian boy.
Your whole body tingled, the feel of his body around yours and his lips on yours sending your head spinning. Rubbing your nose adoringly against his in an eskimo kiss, you vow that you would be strong for him from now on. You might be apart for work a lot, but the love you share is inseparable and undeniable. Nothing could ever come between you. You were his and he was yours.
I kind of convinced myself black n white was one of the "good fansites" but they're constantly posting airport pics. Doesn't that reflect badly on them? How do they know when to get to the airport? And the fandom generally discourages mobbing them at the airport, but we jikookers support this fansite that participates. Is there something I'm missing that makes it okay for the fansite to do this?
Hey love, I talk about fansites (B&W) at the airport and in general in this post here 💜
Your choice to support or enjoy or even like fansites is totally personal and up to you too! Hope that helps some!
[ Prologue ]
≿————- ❈ ————-≾
The thirteen-hour flight finally came to an end as you arrived in LAX, arms stretching above your head, waiting to leave the stuffy confinements of the plane. Jungkook’s eyes traveled to your restless state, your leg bouncing up and down, then up and down, and so on. His hand slowly crawled closer to yours, interlocking with your fingers. Normally, it would’ve been a reassuring gesture, but you only flinched as he touched you, snapping your arm away from him and turning your head. You found more interest outside, preferring to stare out the window and the plane adjacent to yours.
Jungkook bit his lip, face drooping down as he looked back at his empty hand, before quickly folding them together in his lap. There was a sudden impulse that he had to quickly suppress down. Grabbing you, pulling you into his chest, hands softly coming to a rest on your hips. However, with the terms of your secret contract hanging over his head, he knew better than to act so rashly.
It only took a couple of minutes until you were led out of the plane, Jungkook looming on your right as you walked out of your gate, taking in the new surroundings around you. It was the diversity of people and the strange smells that you have never truly experienced back at home in Korea that made your body rush with excitement. But apparently, nobody else shared the same sentiment, guiding you through passport control and receiving a large red stamp on your passport as well as a slip of thin paper with gibberish you couldn’t even read. Nobody wanted to sightsee or even take in the sights.
It was then that your manager came up to your left side, reminding you of his instructions: head toward the van while we pick up all the bags, meeting up at the hotel.
You gave him a polite nod, affirming his directions and heading toward the area with all the airport check-ins. While you were descending down the escalators, Jungkook came up to your side, your height slightly matching his, granted the fact you were wearing black, shiny combat boots. When you reached the ground floor, you resumed your brisk pace, although your eyes were taking in much of the new environment. People bustled back and forth, dozens of cars lined outside through those glass revolving doors. You didn’t even notice the small murmuring that grew around you.
The last thing you expected was to get noticed by foreigners, but alas, surprising gasps left their lips as they too couldn't seem to help themselves, getting closer and closer. Initially, you wondered how they knew so quickly, but then again, with an entourage of your size, you were bound to attract attention.
Whether it was from being in a foreign country or culture shock you were currently experiencing, you were unsure of what to do, feet sealed on the ground. Did they know what fansites or sasaengs were? You halted in place, only for Jungkook and a few other bodyguards to step in, setting good distance between the two groups: you and the fans.
Instead, your eyes drift away, catching a glimpse of Jungkook's face, noticing something in his eyes that seemed awfully familiar, his demeanor flipping like a switch at people he could never seem to trust. His jaw was clenched, and from where you stood, you quickly noticed his looming gaze, predator-like, body emanating an intimidating aura around him.
“Jungkook.” You sterned.
Once again, his head snapped over at your voice, like a child whose name was just called. He seemed more relaxed, shoulders slumping back, but his eyes couldn’t remain on just you, wandering all about the airport. Your two fingers that rose in the air is what grabbed back his attention, ushering him forward, then pointing at the white van that was waiting outside.
"Relax, Jungkook."
He took a deep breath, inhaling and exhaling before he nodded, following your instructions with such obedience, you would’ve thought he was part pet, probably also hoping for a reward. The thought brought an innocent smile to your face, part from the ridiculousness of your mind and the other from how it seemed to fit Jungkook well.
Your entourage stepped into the white van, Jungkook sitting in the back with you, his nose buried in your neck, the blacked-out windows giving him all the privacy he needed. He was met with some resistance, your hands coming up to his chest and mouth clicking in annoyance. Where the hell did that doe-eyed kid go when you first met him? The flustered, stuttering mess of a bodyguard. For heaven’s sake, you wanted him back.
The other bodyguards paid no mind to you two as Jungkook’s head seemed to hover over half of your face, his eyes now boring into yours, neck completely forgotten. You cocked an eyebrow in confusion, only for him to smile wide, snuggling up to you that only confused you more. This kid… really…
A sigh left your lips as Jungkook took hold of one of your arms, wrapping both of his around and securing in his grasps. His hold was like iron, and despite trying to pull away, it didn’t budge. His cheeks protruded out as he sighed in content, a smile on his lips with his eyes softly closed. The soft innocent-like expression reminded you of when you first met him.
You remembered how miserable you were that day, another day of being dragged off somewhere, so tired that your legs didn’t want to move anymore. You didn’t care if you were an idol, couldn’t you just get sleep for more than 8 hours? But here you were, again, pulled into your manager’s office for probably another scolding. What this time? Being late again? Ignoring all the texts he had sent you in the morning? Whatever it was, you wanted him to get it over with, and quickly.
“Y/n, this is your new bodyguard. Please introduce yourself. You will be going on a tour this year so I want you to get to know a new member of staff that will be looking out for you and your safety.” Your manager lifted his arm, raising it to the boy that stood in front of you.
You wanted to scoff at first, eyeing the boy up and down, chin rested on the palm of your hand. This kid? He looked like the type to hesitate on killing a fly or flinch if a bee came too close. Nevertheless, you spared yourself another lecture from your manager, sending your sharp gaze.
“Hey, I’m Y/n, nice to meet you. I guess.” You gave a half-assed bow and you knew it, but you couldn’t care less. Your ass was firmly planted in this chair and you were not going to get up for this kid.
“H-hello, I’m Jeon Jungkook. It’s my p-pleasure to be working with you.”
You only hummed back, carefully watching him as his hands rubbed the perspiration off his palms and down his nice dress pants and his shy gaze barely able to meet yours. That day, he was a stuttering machine and you almost felt bad for him. How could he be that nervous? Was it you? Was it him? Sure, granted you did seem intimidating, but every time you conversed with him, it was in a laid back manner and you expected him to catch on that you didn’t have a care for what he did. That is unless he didn't do his job properly.
But, one of the most interesting parts was the way he showed emotion. It wasn’t just the way his cheeks flushed pink. All the bodyguards were stiff, stoic faces that gave you no fun. But, Jungkook. Yes… He was fun. He was a little plaything, as well as a bodyguard, and you took full advantage of that. Whenever you had the chance, you remembered how you terrorized the inexperienced and hired boy. Skin always touching, fingers grazing, heads close together. His reaction was gold and sometimes, you couldn’t even hide the devious smirk on your face. He was just too cute not to.
On one particular afternoon, the breeze slowly picking up in the autumn weather, Jungkook was instructed to drop you off at the dorms after a day of interviews. He had successfully escorted you to your room, softly whispering his farewells until you called to him. At first, he was taken aback, quickly growing flustered until you had to pull him inside your room.
You had quickly cornered him in your words, his face only getting redder and redder with each sentence you spoke. Not to mention his eyes soaking your figure, low cut shorts that he couldn’t stop staring at which only made you laugh internally. Such a weak and fragile thing.
He nodded as you whispered into his ear, his face burning and body heating up. It was that moment you knew you got him.
Do you like me? Do you find me that attractive?
How about… we make a deal?
≿————- ❈ ————-≾
You jolted awake, realizing you had fallen asleep on the ride to your hotel. Jungkook, too, was resting on your shoulder, drool dripping down the corner of his lips. You scowled, shoving the boy off and brushing yourself. Jungkook only groaned, arms tiredly looking for you and upon feeling your figure, he relaxed. The car continued on, stuck in traffic in the middle of the highway.
He truly did look like a young boy, but nobody knew the monster inside of him. People would assume you were talking about the Jungkook in the airports, always tense and eyes sharp, hair falling perfectly over his face. But that’s not the Jungkook you meant. It brought a smile to your lips when you realized just how loyal this boy was.
He would kill for you.
Sure, you remembered just how terrified you were, but nothing scared you more than confronting that Jungkook. It was satisfying to know such a thing lay quiet inside of him, ready to burst, and burst violently. You remembered what you had told him, body battered up with bruises, but nevertheless in good condition.
“Do that, and do it more often.”
You remembered the first time it happened. Never in your life did you think violence would rain upon a concert of yours. But sadly, it did. You remembered how your adrenaline spiked, the shots ringing so loudly that you wanted to scream, but nothing came out of your throat. How everyone screamed, ducking, scrambling, and-
It was a terrible memory you simply shook your head, burying that scarring memory further and further down your skull. Who cared how other people moaned in disbelief, criticizing for your lack of caring. But who were they to say how you decided best to cope? They would never know such a day. It still felt like only a nightmare. It was only a nightmare you had told yourself multiple times.
Don’t remember. Don’t remember.
All you wanted to remember was how Jungkook’s face looked so dark, so murderous that it made you relieved, your shoulders relaxing, your fists no longer clenching, your eyes no longer paranoid. Blood was splattered on his white dress shirt, forehead dripping in sweat as you fell onto your knees, muttering a “thank god” under your breath.
He turned to you, body trembling, so unstable that you reached for him, wrapping him in your embrace. His breathing was accelerating, both of your legs resting in a pool of blood that seeped out of the man in front of you, face beaten, almost as if it was torn off. It was then you remembered how Jungkook plunged his lips into yours, no tongue, just desperation. How his voice was high pitched, cracking multiple times as he kept rambling on and on about some nonsense on how he almost lost you.
You still complain to this day how he kissed you despite never asking for permission first, preferring to focus more on how behaved much to his dismay. He seemed to wince whenever you brought the topic up. Maybe he wanted to stay the perfect and doe-eyed prince you had first met him to be, but then again, would a normal or good person be proud of such violent behavior?
You scoffed, when were you ever a “good” person?
“Noona- Did I… Did I do well?”
“Yes, Jungkook… You did well. I’m proud of you.”
yandere!ateez fanboy series: seonghwa
When Seonghwa graduated high school, his parents asked him what he wanted as a graduation gift. Coming from a wealthy family, his parents could give him whatever he wanted. But he asked for a camera instead. His parents didn’t know why or what was a camera for, but they gave it to him without a doubt.
And lo and behold, in Seonghwa’s hands, a Canon EOS 850D.
He open his box of savings and bought more equipment such as lenses, speedlite, battery grip and ring mount adapter. Testing a couple of shots around his room, the flowers in his mother’s garden and the collection of his father’s wines before he was satisfied with his photos and he was set to set himself out.
The night before Starlight’s debut, he opened his own website YNbyHwaLight.co.kr and made a profile tab for you provided by your company - VS Media. Ever since your reveal to the world that you are debuting in Starlight as the final member, Seonghwa couldn’t get his eyes off of you. He couldn’t wait for your debut as he camped on Youtube and Naver everyday by watching past videos of you - Introduction Video, Make Meringue Cookies with Y/N and your own choreography of Streets by Doja Cat. To which he proudly beat his cock every night to.
When the sun came up the following day, Seonghwa adjusted his black face mask to perfectly conceal half of his face. He woke an all black clothing and had his equipment safely tucked inside his backpack. When he was done, he set off to the concert hall for your debut concert.
Seonghwa chugged down the last of his coffee before throwing it in the bin. His third cup of coffee to be exact. 4:06 am he is still situated in his old study desk, editing your photos from yesterday’s joint concert. Adding his fansite name ‘HwaLight_Y/N’ before uploading them.
After he graduated high school, he decluttered old items that he no longer needed and are now replaced with more equipment and the albums that Starlight released. On his walls that were once adorned with his favorite rock band posters, baseball banners and his high school basketball jersey were now replaced with your individual posters. His bookshelves before were filled with his textbooks and comic books which he gushed over with his old friend. He doesn’t have friends anymore. Now, they are filled with Starlight’s albums that comes with all the different versions, the photobooks that VS Media released, the latest 2021 Seasons Greetings and his selfmade own copy of ‘ With Love, Y/N ‘ photobook which he sold over 100,000 copies. Unusual for a fansite photobook to reach its mark compared to companies.
Ever since the day Seonghwa stepped into the debut concert hall to see you, he made everyone turn their heads and stare at him. It was a fandom joke that Seonghwa made his own fangirls that day. Along the way, they would pluch up their courage and ask to go on a date with him, but Seonghwa would politely decline their offer. As he only has eyes for Y/N, who else?
After Staright debuted, the fandom continued to increase. It brought irritation to Seonghwa how he felt like he had many competitors to compete for your attention. But that theory was tried and tested when Starlight was at Incheon Airport headed to Jeju. The girls were posing for the hundreds of cameras in front of them, Seonghwa positioned somewhere in the middle.
Through his camera lens, he watched as Y/N stand in her tiptoes, looking through the crowd as if she was searching for someone. His blood began to boil on who could possibly stole your worthy attention that isn’t him. But he immediately soften when Y/N’s eyes landed on his camera, flashing a sweet smile before eagerly waving her hands at him.
His insides were instantly filled with warmth as Y/N had her eyes on his camera. Smiling cutely and making little hearts in his direction. From that day on, Seonghwa submitted himself to you wholeheartedly. The best part? Seonghwa is also a passenger with you to Jeju! Surely seeing Seonghwa before the gates is not the last time you’d see him. As he boarded the plane, he sat down on the seat two rows in front of you. Heart beating fast at the feeling.
The hour flight to Jeju quickly came by and they all boarded down. Seonghwa noticed how you and the rest of the members took the back door. Two black vans parked at the back door rather than being parked at the main extrance and exit. Lifting the car he rented to place his equipment and backpack safely at the back before following the second van where you are. Heading to the same hotel your manager booked because that’s where he booked himself too.
Sometime later after checking in to the hotel and fixing his camera, he listened to the footsteps of VS staffs and any Starlight member heading to the elevator and disappearing. Once the coast is clear, he left his room and welcomed himself to Room 1117 - the room you share with the leader of Starlight.
With his camera in hand, he went over to the second bed as he noticed your luggage was placed on top of it. Slowly, he bent down and inhaled the mattress and cushion. Faint scent of apples and honey. Laying down on the spot whereyou layed down earlier, a soft sigh escapes his lips before turning his attention to your luggage.
Slowly, he unzips it open and then turning it open. The first thing his eyes lands on is the red lingerie that was placed on top as if it was welcoming him. Slowly he took hold of your bra, touching and feeling the cups. Were your boobs always this big? Blood rushed into him as he brought the cups to his nose, inhaling the scent of your raw flesh. Seonghwa sets the bra down before lifting the underwear next. He closely examined the lacy underwear, grazing his fingertips before slowly bringing it to his face. Were underwears supposed to smell sweet? This was an unexplainable one before something clicked in his mind.
You could have worn it.
He brought your underwear more closer to his face while his free hand unzips his pants, freeing his cock and then beating it around his hand, imagining it was your sweet tight hole instead. Shamelessly, he came.
Pocketing your underwear, he quickly set his plan. He placed small cameras inside the electricity extensions in the room and bathroom and on the lamp stands before exiting. Leaving in time before a VS staff came into the same floor they are at. Once he gets back in his hotel room, he took out your underwear in his pocket and decided to kill time by playing with this.
“See! I told you, you must have dropped your underwear under the bed.” Yikyung, the leader of Starlight said. I brought the underwear up and noticed how it had a huge white stain. I shook my head, probably a discharge before placing it on a plastic bag filled with my other used clothes.
“Also, Y/N please put some clothes on while you sleep! My eyes are burning everytime I see you walking around her naked!” Yikyung laughs before throwing a pillow at him. It became a habit of time to sleep and walk around the dorm naked. I felt comfortable around the other members and decided to slowly reveal my habits. As Yikyung and I cleaned up our room, I unplugged my phone from its charger. But the little red light is still beaming.
“Is it always like this?” I asked, pointing at the socket as I faced Yikyung.
“Well at least you know that this socket is working. C’mon, were already late. Manager Min is already expecting us.” She says, grabbing my hand as we ran out our room, ending our MV film shoot in Jeju.
Fansite
Synopsis- After months of being fanboys, Hyunjin and his friends arennew fansites for the girl group, Hue, and after several misadventures, the group is starting to recognize them, Hyunjin in particular, as the most memorable fanboys they've met.
Tumblr media
"None of these photos came out right, they're all blurry," Jaemin slammed his laptop shut in anger, "how am I supposed to be the best Cerise fansite out there if I can't even catch her in moment? Look! Her hair looks amazing, but her face is all blurry because Lil-"
A pillow hit the boy in the face as Hyunjin looked up from his laptop, "Don't blame Lilac! It's not my fault your camera is 4 years old and there's dust inside of it."
"At least he didn't drop our gift to them. Starbucks aren't cheap, that order had to be like 30 dollars," Gai pointed out to the group, fixing the TV signal, "I'll never forget the look on Bai's face when that black coffee with 2 sugar packets fell the group."
"To be fair, it was only 20 dollars because Cerise isn't supposed to have caffeine since she was in the hospital back in February and the doctor told her to cool it."
"Stop being such a fanboy," Hyunjin swatted Jaemin's hair as he collected the pillow from the floor.
Hyunjin, Jaemin, Gai and Jongho were having a monthly meeting for their favorite girl group, Hue, and this is their first meeting as official fansites of the girls. Gai's bias was Emerald, Jaemin's was Cerise, Jongho couldn't decide between Cierra or Bai and Hyunjin immediately fell for Lilac, as known as Y/N. The boys sat around the tv as Hue's interview started.
"Color the sky! Hi, we are Hue!" The girls cheeted in unison, each dressed in their respective color.
"We are so proud of our Shades. Because of you all, we have our first win for 'Borealis,' and we couldn't be anymore thankful," Cierra, the group's leader, dressed in a black tanktop, black shorts and fishnets with boots, spoke.
"We also have another announcement!" Cerise, the main dancer dressed in a short pink plaid skirt and a matching t-shirt, pointed to the camera.
"Yes, we do, Cerise!" Emerald, the main rapper clad in a green outfit similar to Cierra, continued the prepared speech, "we're inviting several fansites to an exclusive fanmeet!"
"That we are!" Bai, the maknae in a white, off the shoulder dress spoke, "Lilac is going to announce the 40 fansites who are coming to this special event happening in 2 days at Thalian Hall."
As soon as the girl in the purple v-neck t-shirt with matching high-waisted shorts and garter belts came on the screen, Hyunjin was mesmerized. A chorus of birds spinning around his head as he imagined his life with Lilac.
"Oh, Lilac! I love you so much!"
"Hyunie! We're getting married! Please call me Y/N!"
"Oh Y/N, my bride! My princess!"
He broke out of his daydream as Jongho started shaking him.
"We're going to the event! This time as official people! We're going to get passes and get to see them up close!" Jongho yelled in Hyunjin's face.
"We can make up for all those fanmeets where Hyunjin destroyed a set piece!" Gai cheered, running to clean his camera.
"Or accidentally hit a bodyguard!" Jaemin kissed the TV screen when Cerise showed up, disgusting Jongho as he patted Hyunjin on the back, "or all the times we tried to give them little gifts, only for Hyunjin to get them taken or ruin them."
"Bro! This is our chance! We actually get to talk to the girls for a little bit and even hold their hands! We finally get to have photos that we can edit! We can make our own gifs!" Jongho cheered, jumping up and down on the sofa.
Hyunjin sat stunned, he has an opportunity to make up for his slip-ups. He still doesn't forgive himself for accidentally spilling a unicorn frappuccino for Y/N down a bodyguard's back.
'Hopefully she has forgotten about that incident'
"Ok, guys," Hyunjin opened his laptop on the table, hyping the group up, "if we're going to impress the girls, we should practice!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Color the sky! Hi, we wre Hue!" The girl group announced their presence as the small 40-person audience cheered.
"We are so proud of you Shade, that we had to do something special," Cyan spoke in the microphone, a small amount of feedback fading in and out.
"I already see a few familiar faces out there," Emerald waved her lightstick in the air, "Emmy's World, who has been to every event since pre-debut! A legendary Shade, if I do say so myself."
The crowd laughed as the sound of shutters and the bright flashes went off, capturing the girls in every moment. Hyunjin watched as the crowd had different techniques to get the girls' attention. Emmy's World had a sign above their camera that said "Emerald, over here!" Another fansite called Light Cream for Bai had a polar bear plushie taped to the top of their camera and Jaemin was dressed head to toe in hot pink for Cerise, becoming the fansite Neon Flamingo.
Hyunjin felt like he was disassociating, this isn't his real life, it's just a dream and he's going to wake up soon, Gai is going to freak out because he found a cute picture of Emerald that actually allowed editing, Jaemin will be attempting to DM Cerise and Jongho will be making a pros-cons list of having a double bias.
Hyunjin heard his fansite name, Field of Lilacs, through the speaker. He walked to the front of the crowd, shooting photos of Y/N as she posed in a purple mid-thigh skater skirt, her off-white lilac-hued button up tucked into the skirt.
"Hey," Y/N pointed at Hyunjin, "you're the coffee guy, right?!"
Hyunjin wished to shrink in on himself as he felt everyone's eyes on him, some burning holes into his head. Hyunjin kept his head down, looking at the pictures he took, ashamed of the fact he's known as the coffee guy. He wanted to run away, but he continued to take photos.
A wave of guilt came over Y/N. Maybe she shouldn't have brought that up, she just wanted to make the cute guy with the light blue shirt knew he was actually one of the fans the girls knew and talked about all the time.
'Does he feel bad about the coffee? It was just an accident...'
Y/N whispered to Emerald, no one could tell for Y/N had hid her mouth by her hand. After Emerald had talked to one of their managers, Y/N kept her eye on Hyunjin, who felt awkward the rest of the event.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Guys! Holy shit, we have so many good photos! Look at Cyan!" Gai flipped through his camera roll as Jaemin and Jongho were looking at each other's photos.
Hyunjin sat on a bench outside the event hallway, kicking his feet as he played with the camera strap. The other three boys were running around like chickens with their heads cut off when Hyunjin was approached by a tall man.
"Ms. Y/N is asking for you," the bodyguard towered over Hyunjin, the intimidation factor causing Hyunjin to go wide-eyed, "Nothing bad. She just wishes to talk to you privately."
Hyunjin took a glimpse at his friends, who were still comparing photos and talking about their favorite moments, "Uuhh, yea, sure."
The pair walked down the hallway, heading towards a double door which led to the Hue tour bus and the five members standing outside the bus, making sure they have all their luggage.
"Thanks Davey," Y/N dismissed the bodyguard as he patted Hyunjin's back, the boy lurching forward, Y/N's hands catching his shoulders and helping him avoid falling.
"Umm, sorry," Hyunjin kept curled up in himself.
"No, oh my God, I should be sayimg sorry to you. I didn't realize you were embarrassed by the whole coffee situation," Y/N apologized, feeling genuinely awful about the situation, "I know some of the fansites were plotting your demise by the way they were staring at you."
Hyunjin sported a small smile, "honestly, it's okay. I just wasn't expecting it from my ultimate bias."
"Oh?!" Y/N dramatically put her hand over her heart, "little old me?! Your ultimate bias? I think Neon Flamingo may be my favorite fansite."
Hyunjin and Y/N started laughing, the awkwardness fading as they continued to stand around each other. They shared glances at each other until Y/N reached into her bag, pulling out a piece of paper and a purple pen.
"Here. It's my personal profile," Y/N handed Hyunjin a piece of paper, hiding it under Bai's camera, "be careful, if it gets out, Davey is going to blame you and he knows your face very well."
"I can buy him a coffee if it would make him feel better," Hyunjin adjusted the bag on his shoulder, easing his fidgetiness.
Y/N and Hyunjin stood in comfortable silence as the three other boys started shouting for their missing friend.
"I should probably go as well, we have rehearsals tonight," Y/N softly smiled at Hyunjin, "it was really nice actually getting to talk to Mr. Disaster."
Hyunjin chuckled at the nickname, realizing he's still holding Bai's camera, "if you don't mind, may I get one photo?"
"I don't think Bai would mind," Y/N took the camera, putting her hand on Hyunjin's waist as she extended her arm out.
The camera flashed and she kissed Hyunjin's cheek, the photo printing out as she handed it to Hyunjin. Hue's manager started yelling for all the girls to get in the bus, Y/N running and waving back at Hyunjin.
"I'll see you later," Y/N shouted as the door to the bus closed, leaving Hyunjin with the photo of the pairing.
Putting the small photo in his phonecase, Hyunjin unlocked his phone, opening an app and adding Y/N. After a short bit, his phone pinged with a notification he never thought he would see.
"LilacLovesHue has added you!"
