Had such a fabulous day exploring Dorset today.

Visited Lawrence of Arabia’s grave. Just so you know, he wasn’t from Arabia. 👨‍🏫

Went searching for bedknobs and broomsticks at Corfe Castle.

Strolled along the coastline and said hello to Old Harry.

Visited Fort Henry and stood where Winston Churchill, King George VI, Supreme Allied commander Dwight D. Eisenhower, Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery and Acting Admiral Louis Mountbatten witnessed the largest live ammunition practice of World War II.

Enjoyed a pub grub and then an afternoon coffee with two friends who have known each other for nearly 80 years.

Couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day.
