Just started Zombie Land Saga and wow. I knew Kotaro was insane but like wow it was severely understated. This man knows no limits. Really just called Junko a loney little loser with no hesitation and the most upbeat voice.
Been working on and off on this piece for awhile! I did not expect to like this anime from the premise, but shoutout to my sister for telling me I would, Zombie Land Saga is so fun! Hope it comes back eventually!
Watching Zombieland Saga right now and there's something poignant about watching these young zombie girls reflect on their lives, reunite with old friends and family and find closure in their tragic deaths.
Junko learns to accept that times have changed, but realises that she doesn't have to conform to modern idol culture. Ai sees that her old idol group is still around, but not the same as it used to be, and she also starts to overcome the trauma associated with her death. Lily not only gets to perform in front of her father, but also learn that he misses her every day and wishes he'd been a better father to her. Saki learns that her best friend has a daughter who's speeding towards the same fate Saki had, and steps in to stop her. I haven't chosen a favourite girl just yet, but I'm really excited to learn more about Yugiri, Sakura and especially Tae.
