Back in 2014, FoxxFur did a series of movie reviews focused on the films made in the years immediately following Walt Disney’s death. #is it a furry oc thing? like in those communties? i wouldnt know so that would explain it #like i was active on both sheezyart and deviartart in middle school and bits of high school but ???????? #i feel like ive walked into another world

the thing with furries is that the community is so INSANELY large and broad that it definitely looks like furries tend to be creepier than the average person but the reality is there is just so fucking many of them. there isnt really more creeps per capita as much as there is just more people in the furry communty than there are people in like. idk. the care bears fandom. so theres just nasty people that come with that.

i literally could not tell you how many furries are in the world there’s so many. and i do say furry community but i feel like grouping al of us into one unified community is hard because we are all different. its more of a loose definition than anything. and people are going to find creeps in the fandom because they already have the perception that all furries are creeps so when they do see a creep that is a furry it’s confirmation bias

Wow, I'm suprised that ask resonated with people. While I was talking all types of twitter nerds, the particular occasion was some lolicon linking fursuits with rape...while complaining about twitter furries saying lolicon causes rape. And apparently this person thinks using the same logic that people use to ban their porn is somehow justified because of said twitter furries who spew that BS. Like I wonder how lolicon furries feel about type of tripe. Like people forget different types of nerd

Like people seem to forget or even consider the possiblity that people can be into different types of nerd shit at the same time and act like those people don't even exist. Like from what I've seen, nerds who are insecure about their nerd shit, feel like they need to bash other nerd shit/try to drag down other nerd shit because they think somehow that'll make them look better in the eyes of prudish weirdos who'd look at them badly for liking shit that could be considered weird by dragging others down. 

Like aside from the hypocrisy that angers me(with this spesfic person talking about how horrible it is when people do it to them anf their firends but they think it's A-OK for them to do it to an entire community because some nerds in those communties dot he same shit) It's like; you're olaying directly into the hand of people who are going to/are censoring you. If you're vendetta against one group of nerds goes down, you're going down too.

But people don't understand that; they seriously think the ficiton police will only effect the people they don't like.(Sorry for this ask being long).
