My sister is watching GO for the first time.
Yesterday she met Bildad:
She’s one of us now 😆😆😆
No, seriously, I’m sorry for what I’m doing to her. She’s so into the ineffables, finally starting to realize what a lovely perfect gentle soft couple they are, universally recognizable as in love with each other.
And she asked, “Their relationship is only inferred or is it something Neil Gaiman affirmed existed?”
SHE COULDN’T POSSIBLY KNOW.
I don’t have the heart to tell her about the final 15. I’m going to hurt her and she’s going to hate me for it 😬
Also, when she saw Angel!Crowley she was all, “Wow are we going to see how he fell?”
Errrrrrrr - How can I tell her about speculations in the fandom? It’s hard 😆😆😆😆😆
Oh. Also, she’s now in love with David Tennant 😂

the fact that Crowley approached Aziraphale at all after it was all said and done with Job... he could've just left. gone back to wherever he came from to do whatever he wanted to do. instead he knew Aziraphale must've been dealing with a lot after what happened, knew how lonely it was being on his own side and wanted to spare Aziraphale the feeling. he looked for him, found him sitting all alone, and went to just sit down with him

but like... think of the implications of Gabriel being so quick to drop all connections to heaven after a few years of knowing Beelzebub. He has been heaven's #1 guy for all of time but he was given a gift by a demon and he's ready to abandon God for hell
demons may not trust each other but at least they have a common enemy, a shared trauma. But what do the angels even have keeping them together? They have been left so lonely and devoid of kindness - the structure of heaven honestly seems like it'd crumble under the weight of a feather

Does Crowley actually destroy the "bad" plants?
I think not!
Neil Gaiman notably suggested once that he makes the shredder noise to frighten the plants, then sneaks the plant with leaf spots out and gives it to the old lady downstairs.
However, this was just in response to a question asking what could be told to a child who was upset by the scene, and so could not be considered canon. It does seem in character, but trying to be mindful of not headcanonning Crowley into too much of a meow-meow, I was prepared to believe either possibility.
But then, I was reading the book. And though much of the scene in the show was taken line for line, in the book it doesn't say he shreds the plants, or that the sound of a shredder is heard, or anything like that. It says he leaves the flat with the offending plant, and returns an hour or so later with an empty pot.
About the right amount of time to pop downstairs, have a chat and a cup of tea, and re-pot a plant, wouldn't you say? Hmmmmmmm.

God okay I just finished watching good omens 2 and I just
Something that really kills me is during the confession scene after Aziraphale says “Nothing last forever” Crowley puts back on his glasses
And it’s such a thing to do because they were just having this raw open and vulnerable conversation and you can see everything in Crowley eyes and then he decides deliberately to put up a shield
And it’s such a pivotal moment because throughout this whole season Crowley is always taking his glasses off around Aziraphale or even just when he’s in the bookshop
He’s letting his guard down in a sense and letting Aziraphale see past the shades into who he actually is and it’s so heartbreaking to see Aziraphales words sink in and the implicit meaning he finds in them
He immediately puts his shields back up and adopts a more monotone way of speaking all to hide how much this is hurting him
