What if Sirius never got sent to Azkaban?

He would’ve been the best godfather ever!

Beacause, let’s be real, he would take care of Harry as if he was his own child.

He would see Harry as the little part he has left of James and Lily.

And when Harry grows up to look just like his father, Sirius would be so amazed.

He would look into the little boy’s eyes and see Lily in them, but when he looked at everything else he would see his best friend.

Like they had never left in the first place.

He would give Harry the best tips and tricks to grow an amazing head of hair.

Because for some reason, the son and the grandson of the inventor of a hairpotion are worse at keeping their hair in good shape than him.

He would also teach Harry all the good pick-up lines.

And Harry would become a total casanova.

When Sirius teaches him how to produce a patronus (because he would totally teach him that) and a deer starts forming itself in front of them, Sirius would ball his eyes out.

‘Cause Harry is really just like his father and its so amazing to have a little James around.

They would turn into their animagus form and go on adventures together just like in the old days.

And Sirius can’t help but go down memory lane, telling Harry all about his memories of his father and mother.

If Harry is naughty at Hogwarts, a letter gets sent to Sirius.

Who will definitely write a letter back to McGonagall.

Being all like “Hello Minnie! Long time no see ay? I’m very sorry about Harry’s behavior but you know, it’s not like it’s surprising, is it? How is it going with his quidditch training by the way?”

And so on.

But of course Minerva can’t be mad.

Because she secretly loves that man and the way he has been there for Harry.

Speaking about quidditch

Sirius would of course go to every single quidditch match Harry had to play.

He screams and yells and cheers.

But when his godson catches the snitch

Oooooh he goes wild.

Taking the person seated closest to him and jumping up and down with that person out of happiness.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a profesor or Lucius freeking Malfoy or a total stranger.

Because Sirius is proud of everything Harry accomplishes.

And can’t help but see James in everything he does.
