Ooh are we still doing the problematic playlist thing? Masa Works Design is a Vocaloid producer who has a TON of problematic songs, I’d have to suggest The Fox’s Wedding and Himitsu no Kingyo, they’re some very overtly eroguro songs. There’s also Outburn Kamikaze, which is about a girl getting an innocent college girl drunk just to fuck her. There’s a lot to choose from when it comes to his music.

Notes:

Tanuki’s Enma laughs: This was a weird one. The centence is "閻魔の狸が嗤う" which in romaji translates to "Enma no tanuki ga warau". With my extremely limited knowledge of japanese, I this the way the syntax works is, (excuse my inability to explain the trems here, but my english isnt that great) the person who posseses something goes after the の (no) with the object being in front. Example from Masa's work "Himitsu no kingyo" meaning "Secret (himitsu) of goldfish (kingyo)" instead of the other way around... In this case, it should be "Enma of tanuki", but i could be very wrong.

Sidenote: If you have any notes or corrections please write me a comment! I am really interested in learning more japanese in an organic way were im engaged, I would deeply apreciate it!

Do you also give recommendations? I want to watch another drama like hirugao or love that makes you cry. Something emotional and with raw feelings.

Hi, yes we try to give recommendations, I personally haven’t seen either of the dramas you mentioned but looking at the synopsis of them, they’re kind of slice of life, dark (emotional) romances with raw feelings.

So I recommend:

Byakuyako (drama 2006) = dark romance, the leads want to be together but the world doesn’t let them because of a crime they committed.in the past

N no Tame ni = dark romance, some years ago a crime was committed, it was all for the sake of N, the twist is that all our main characters’ names start with N

Aishite Tatte, Himitsu wa Aru = dark romance, our male lead committed a crime but nobody other than his family knows, so he’s trying to live a normal life but suddenly it seems someone found out  

Watashi wo Hanasanaide = dark romance, this one was interesting because of the topic of cloning, the clones try to live normally but eventually have to give up on their lives for the sake of their non-clone selves

Kingyo Club = the female lead gets bullied, the male lead starts befriending her

Kimi wa petto (2003) = I wouldn’t say this is a dark romance, this is actually really heartwarming and has raw feelings, our leads play owner and pet, they are there for each other when they need a shoulder to cry on or a place to be

There’s also a 2017 version of Kimi wa petto which is nice as well and has slight changes in plot, but I’d rec the 2003 one first.

Last friends = dark romance, well this has various dark themes of obsessive love and unrequited love but also love in friendship

My Rainy Days (Movie) = not really dark but slice of life, I loved this because this movie isn’t over dramatic even though our leads don’t really know about love and trust, it has a calm atmosphere, it’s something for rainy days

so when i google translated the lyrics, this one really caught my eye.

i think this supports my theory  that the gumi and miku in himitsu no hako aren’t the same people as in himitsu no kingyo.

masa stated how it would be a story of “greed”, which also left me pretty confused, since like you just open the box and you see a pile of cash??? lmao i’m joking tho

since himitsu no kingyo was release, it could’ve been possible that there was human body parts inside the box, though it doesn’t seem likely how masa would use greed as a symbolism for that. 

once we get an actual english translation, we might be able to theorize more from there because google translate sucks. but that doesn’t mean this is wrong, it’s pretty close.
