Little Mario Enemy Ocs I made.
Dusty The Bomb Boo. A newly born Bomb Boo in the world with no memories of his death or what he used to be.
Della The Tweeter. Della spends most of her time traveling but ever since she met Dusty and Pip she has grown a sibling like bond with them and is very protective of them. But one strange thing about her is her tear stained mask.
Pip The Hoppycat. Just a mischievous little guy. (I haven't really thought of some background for this guy.)

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the level "The Sharp Trial: Launch To Victory" in World 3 revolves around riding platforms on tracks, whereby each platform contains a Hoppycat enemy that will jump out of the front of the platform every time the player jumps. Several puzzles in the level revolve around timing jumps correctly to let the Hoppycat hit enemies or blocks.
Some of the Question Blocks designed to be hit with the Hoppycat have the rare property that instead of simply releasing their contents when hit, they will first fly up (if hit from below or the sides) or down (if hit from above) before releasing them. As this property is completely unmarked and the player must hit the block to find out if it will do that, there is a potential for a death that can feel unfair and frustrating to the player, as seen in the footage.
If the player decides to bypass the Hoppycat mechanic and have the player character hit the block in person, the only direction it can normally be hit from is above. However, it will then fly down with the player still on it, killing the character instantly.

I thought you might enjoy this enemy from the new mario game:
They are called Hoppycats because they always jump at the same time as your character. They also have teeth (or spikes maybe) on the underside. You can also turn into one in two wonder flower events.
Everything I've seen added by this game is so good like it all should have always been a thing in the Marioverse
