It makes me sad that Dilwale wasn’t apparently very well liked when it first came out, because it is like...ridiculously fun and awesome? Like SO MUCH FUN!
it is a movie that knows EXACTLY WHAT IT IS, and that is glossy, fun,  romantic, and ridiculous
look Veer’s introduction is drifting a souped-up car around a statue of jesus, looking totally fuckboi-esque, and CROSSING HIMSELF IN SLOW MOTION
that pretty much sets the tone for most of the movie - pretty, extra, and absurd
now, caveat: I don’t speak Hindi, so it’s entirely possible that the dialogue is genuinely bad so I can’t tell. But the delivery sounds in earnest so it’s still fun
and beneath the fun and ridiculousness is a beating heart, with both Kaali+Veer’s parental sibling relationship and Kaali+Meera’s love story
Like…one of my favorite parts about the movie is how Kaali and Meera have this intense and painful backstory, but the new world and lives they’ve built for themselves are so bright and beautiful and colorful. So when they (inevitably) reconcile, you know that they are going to have a good life together.
Surrounded by idiots, yes, but I think they would like that!
Also I wish I could find a color theory post about this movie because they are gorgeous and there is this specific shade of dark blue that keeps showing up at dramatic moments.
*MOVIE SPOILERS, IF ANYBODY CARES*
Admittedly, whatever town they’re in (I think it’s somewhere in Goa) is insanely gorgeous and must have something in the water because nearly all of those residents are in possession of ONE BRAINCELL! Minus Kaali, who clearly drinks filtered water, as does Meera. They have kept their braincells.
Shakti and Anwar, Kaali’s best friends, are touch and go – sometimes they have the brain cell, sometimes they don’t
SO KAALI AND MEERA’S BACKSTORY IS BATSHIT -- THEY WERE THE RIGHT HANDS OF THEIR MAFIA-ESQUE PARENTS BACK IN BULGARIA.
They met because he hit her with his car! (because she was trying to take him out)
He falls in love at first sight. She plays civilian for a bit, lets him try to charm her, falls in love with him and takes a little time to figure it out (after realizing she can’t kill him and having to pass it off as a whim, rather than a symptom of *an emotion*)
They try to set up a marriage, her father sets up a meeting to kill them instead without telling his daughter, both fathers die, Meera is fed false information that they were betrayed and, as she promised Kaali not long after they got together, she shoots him in the heart for his betrayal.
But only once! If she reaaaallly wanted him dead, it would have been in the head! (my addition – not stated in the movie proper)
They then spend the next 15 years raising their much younger siblings (brother and sister respectively, of course) and turning respectable themselves. Kaali has established a garage for modifying fancy cars and we don’t know what Meera did before she moved to Goa, but now she is in the process of opening a restaurant.
Kaali is even going by a new name: Raj
They do not want their baby siblings to know about their criminal pasts, so they very much do not tell their siblings about it.
But anyways, Veer and Ishita  are two sweet-natured, pretty kids who meet and take a liking to each other, and them liking each other enough to want to get married kicks off the ACTUAL ROMANTIC PLOT OF THE MOVIE, AKA KAALI AND MEERA AKA SRK AND KAJOL
They meet again because their much-younger siblings want to get married, and Meera, still under the impression that Kaali killed her father and betrayed her trust, IS NOT FOR IT
So baby siblings, using their one braincell, try to figure out what happened, because obviously their siblings must know each other, why else object to the marriage?
To get info, Veer bugs his brother’s two best friends, who were also in Bulgaria with Kaali at the time
the best friends were ordered by Kaali not to talk about his criminal past, but they are weak to Veer’s puppy eyes and they proceed to come up with this BATSHIT VERSION of Kaali and Meera’s past that is EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS than their actual past. Including fake names: Ramlal and Pogo.
Veer is Overwhelmed By Emotions
Kaali is Not Amused upon being confronted by this undignified backstory, but his friends defend themselves by pointing out that a) they can’t just outright lie and say they don’t know, because that would be even more improbable and b) it does remove the criminal element
They seem to be together? not totally clear but they act like a married couple so I’m down.
Their explanation when the boys come back to suspiciously ask why THEY never married is to say: We didn’t want to be fathers!
(reasonable, given that veer + sid together are clearly a handful)
So baby siblings, who have the details totally wrong but the basic gist what happened, decide that the easiest way to stay together is to get their older siblings to FALL BACK IN LOVE, obviously, because neither have remarried since their affair, so they must have unresolved feelings!
(this is not wrong, but still the leap ain’t logical)
cue wacky hijinks from the kids and intense, UST-laden scenes and songs between Meera and Kaali, who have enough chemistry to burn the town down
(They snarl at each other, choke each other in the ruins and are extremely conscious of each other’s personal space and are clearly two inches from falling into each other at any given moment IT’S SO GREAT)
AND THERE IS KING, THE WANNABE DRUG KINGPIN - seriously, like he is trying SO HARD to be the A-plot - flamboyant, scarily intimidating guy taking over this seaside town with one liners and pop culture references. BUT HE’S NOT.
LIKE, HE’S JUST A NUISANCE TO THE OTHER CHARACTERS WITH THEIR INTENSE UST/TRYING TO UNRESOLVE TENSION SO THEY CAN GET MARRIED
I guess I get it if people don’t like the humor,  because the tone shifts can be pretty abrupt, but still, it’s a rollicking good time
And there are a few scenes it blatantly steals from other movies? only one I recognized was the Love Actually cards, and tbh I don’t really care - I didn’t get distracted or confused by references I didn’t get, so I’m fine by it
All right, there is also the DDLJ line at the very end, but it fits for me! because Kaali is playing off the fact that his ‘going straight’ name is Raj and he’ll always be her Raj, meaning that there isn’t anything he won’t do for her. I kinda liked it.
Things I actually didn’t like:
I wish Ishita had more character. She has some moments, but not nearly as much time is spent on her as there is on Veer
the dialogue bits that basically served as PSAs for drugs - we know they are bad! no need to keep saying it
Siddhu’s plot could have been better if jenny had a voice during his ‘it’s hard to date’ rant. cause like, dude, she didn’t ask you to spend money on her
Less didn’t like and more ‘I want more Kajol’ - it would have been nice to see a little more of how Meera went straight and what prompted her move down from Bangalore to Goa

It's sad that they're trying to make Lea and Isa's duo into a trio by adding Skuld because Skuld is so underdeveloped that she barely counts as a character. All she does is hang out with Ephemer and neglect her friendship with Player. Maybe if she actually did things I'd be able to muster up some excitement over the idea of her becoming friends with my two favorite characters, but with the current situation she could be replaced with a cardboard cutout and no one would notice any difference.
Yes, thank you! This is a huge reason KH3 was such a letdown for me. I’ve heard people say that fans just got themselves too hyped up and their expectations were unrealistic. Nope, that’s not the case with me nor do I think that was the reason for most of the disappointment within the fandom. I wasn’t even overly hyped. KH3 just didn’t accomplish what it was supposed to. But more than anything, the characters were NOT treated with respect. That was my biggest disappointment.
Before KH3 came out, I was actually excited about KH4 and beyond because of the fact that we now have a pretty large group of main characters and they have so much potential. We wouldn’t have to focus on just Sora, Donald, and Goofy anymore. There are so many characters to develop and they all have solid personalities. We have the Destiny Island trio, the Wayfinder trio, the Disney Castle crew, and Lea and Isa.
I have an attachment to all of them based on all the previous games and all the years they’ve been developed. I wanted to see them interact with each other once Xehanort was defeated and everyone was rescued. Not get dumped in favor of new characters. Of all the characters Lea and Isa could form a relationship with, Skuld is the WORST choice. There are sooo many more interesting characters to focus on. Lea and Isa could grow close to Sora, Riku, Kairi, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Donald, Goofy, or Mickey! Yet, they’re getting shoved aside for Union X characters that you need to play a mobile game to be familiar with. Skuld wasn’t even included in the Back Cover movie. Even if you played all the KH remasters, you still won’t know who she is!
Tumblr media
I’ve actually seen all the cutscenes for Union X and I agree with you wholeheartedly. The characters were inoffensive, but they all had the personality of a wet paper bag. Nomura said Kingdom Hearts X, as it was originally called, was not supposed to have a heavy focus on story. Nothing I saw gave me the impression that characters like Skuld or Ephemer were meant to be anything more than mobile game characters. They were there for the player’s avatar to interact with, to give him/her a voice, since he/she is silent. But they are ancient history and should have perished during the Keyblade War.
Ehpemer comes from the world ephemeral, meaning “lasting a very short time”. The three Norns are the Goddesses of fate in Norse mythology and are described as deciding the fates of people. Their names are Urd “What Once Was” (Old Norse “Urðr”), Verdandi “What Is Coming into Being” (Old Norse “Verðandi”) and Skuld “What Shall Be” (Old Norse “Skuld”).
My point is that these characters seem more suited as background characters. They are part of the mythology and history of the Keyblade War. They are not on par with the established characters and are not suitable to be the new protagonists. Now they are being teased as the main focus for the upcoming plot arc. I think this was a big mistake on Nomura’s part. Hardly anyone is going to be excited for them. I’m certainly not. I feel like there is very little to look forward to anymore.
You’re right. Skuld has no personality. And to add insult to injury, since she’s Subject X now, Lea and Isa had everything stripped from them in order to prop her up. Skuld isn’t interesting enough to be introduced on her own, so she has to ride on the coattails of Lea and Isa and the human experimentation subplot. This is such bullshit. New characters should NOT come at the expense of old ones. Lea needed a sad backstory as a test subject, and he needed his friendship with Isa to be properly developed so his fight at the Keyblade Graveyard felt emotionally engaging (which it didn’t).
Isa needed to be Subject X to redeem him. Saïx didn’t have much of a “personality”. This was the whole point. He was never likable the way Axel was. He was rude, condescending, cold, and vicious. According to Axel, he showed no human emotion besides sneers and snide remarks. But he was Norted, for crying out loud! Saïx was not meant to be one of the protagonists. Isa was!! They threw away two amazing characters for this flat underdeveloped Union X one. Very foolish and shortsighted. it’s definitely gonna bite them in the ass.
Tumblr media
Lea and Isa were always meant to be a duo. For some fans, it seems like only trios are valid, but that’s not true. SRK are Sky, Land, Sea. TAV are Earth, Water, Wind. Well, Lea and Isa are Sun and Moon—complementary opposites. I’ve heard people say that Skuld would be “Stars”. Well, I think Terra, Aqua, and Ven were meant to be the stars. Skuld is redundant and not needed to “complete” Lea and Isa.
Even in canon, she is a stranger to them. They spoke to her a few times in the shadows and couldn’t even see her face. She had amnesia. They literally knew nothing about her and weren’t sure if she even existed after a while, yet now their whole backstory revolves around her. She doesn’t complement them at all or make them more interesting. She detracts from them.
On the other hand, Isa definitely complemented Lea and made him a more interesting character. That’s why I liked him. He provided Lea with someone to humanize him and to give him a poignant backstory. He gave Lea a goal while becoming a Keyblade wielder. And Isa’s chemistry with Lea was adorable. Isa was sarcastic and brought out a different side of Lea than Roxas and Xion did. They also had an actual history together. They went to school together, ate ice cream, and also played with a dog. Probably played fetch with the frisbee (aww).
Lea was closer to Isa than anyone else—period. I was much, MUCH more excited to see Lea and Isa’s past and their friendship get developed than the potential relationship they have with Skuld get teased. No, I’m not excited for them to be a trio and I’m not excited for Skuld to get in the way of Lea and Isa’s friendship and make it all about her. She seemed like she fit in better with Ephemer anyways. Also, I think Lea and Isa have waaaaay more personality than Skuld. They are both colorful characters with a lot of charm. She can’t hold a candle to them.

Leo Traits
Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac and has the Sun as its ruling celestial body. Bold, intelligent, warm, and courageous, Leo star sign is a natural leader of the Zodiac. Leo is an adventurer, seeking to balance an intense life of social obligations and travel with plenty of downtime to relax and luxuriate.
A Leo is a typical outgoing and jovial kind of person. He has a big friend circle and likes to boss around. Appreciation and admiration are the two important things for getting close to a lion’s heart. He likes to be flattered and pampered.
Skuld just doesn’t fit in with Lea and Isa’s theme. They are Sun/Moon opposites. She’s a third wheel. In KH2, Axel didn’t have a lot of development. He was clever and cocky, but we didn’t know a lot about him, especially as a human. When they decided to flesh him out, they definitely decided to make him a typical Sun personality. I thought Lea was surprisingly cheery and positive.
Caring
At their best, the courageous Leo is strong, and has an amazing, protective attitude towards their friends. They care very deeply for those close to them.
He cares very much for his friends.
Optimistic
Leo is an optimist who is able to see the silver lining to life. They are optimists who are always able to find the positive side of any situation, and they prefer to revel in the good than dwell over the bad.
Even though Axel could be quite pessimistic, Lea was a natural optimist.
Kind
They are always willing to help out a loved one in need, and they will go to great lengths to make sure that those they care about most are happy. Leos have a compassionate heart, and they tend to be extremely kind and generous creatures.
He was always willing to help stray puppies.
Loyal
If there’s one thing that you can say about Leo with certainty, it’s that they are some of the most loyal people that you will ever meet. Leo is the bravest sign in the Zodiac, often doing whatever they are required to do despite being scared or in danger.
He is amazingly loyal. He always wanted to bring his friends back, no matter what. Even when he thought Isa tried to kill him.
Straightforwardness
Mincing words is not in the nature of a Leo. They speak their mind and like to express their thoughts clearly. Frankness is therefore, one of the biggest strengths of Leos. It is because of their straightforwardness that they are able to confront opinions and thoughts, they do not approve of, directly. This is also one of the reasons why they get things done fast.
He is very straightforward. He lied a lot to Roxas and kept secrets, but that wasn’t who he really was.
Faithful Partners and Good Friends
Leos are romantic and passionate lovers. They are faithful partners and exhibit extreme sensitivity  while in a relationship. This is also the reason why they are vulnerable to getting hurt. Thus, Leos need to find someone whom they can trust before they shower their love and kindness on that person.
One of the special traits found in Leos is helping friends in need. Lending emotional support to friends in difficult times is a rare quality found in these people. It enables them to make lifelong friends. Behind all the aggression, ego and other domineering personality traits of a Leo lies a sensitive heart which cares for the dear ones. Leos take pride in protecting their close ones and would do so with all the energy and wit they possess. It is observed that the bossy exterior of Leos often eclipses their sensitive nature.
He is a wonderful friend, but has a deeper side, more sensitive side. All very accurate.
Tumblr media
Arrogance
At times, their dominance and confidence can be seen more like arrogance and conceit. Leo individuals ooze with confidence. They think that if they are the first to arrive at some conclusion, then they are right.
Lea was arrogant in a playful way. Like when he challenged Ventus to a fight. Axel was like that, too.
Inflexibility
They’re inflexible for other people, but they’re also inflexible for themselves. When they’ve made a commitment to something, they’re going to stick with it, regardless of how much they hate it.
Basically, Lea did whatever he wanted. Even Saïx said this about him.
Laziness
Though full of ambition and enthusiasm, Leo has to admit to a lazy streak and, given the opportunity, will take the easy way out, especially when a situation offers little fun or glory.
He likes to have fun.
Pride
This sign is represented by a lion, and as such, Leos are born with all of the pride and glory of the maned creature.
Oh yes, he is very proud.
Domineering
Leos have a hard time learning when to stop ruling and start listening. For this reason, Leos are extremely domineering and tend to overpower those around them.
Lea was the accelerator and Isa was the brake. Lea never listened to Isa, though.
Impatience
Impatience is one of the negative traits exhibited by a Leo. This trait of Leos get reflected in their habit to get things done fast. Impatience may lead to development of anxiety and restlessness in these individuals.
Axel never liked waiting around.
Jealousy
Leos may exhibit a possessive nature. This trait is closely related to the jealousy they exhibit. In fact, they are jealous because of their possessive nature.
Saïx was very jealous. But Lea probably had a side like that as well. He would not like it if Isa alienated him.
Tumblr media
Cancer Traits
Cancer, the fourth sun sign of the Zodiac, has water as its element, is feminine, and is ruled by the Moon. This sign is represented by crabs, and similar to their nature, these people can be the sweetest and most sympathetic people at one moment, and turn into the most cranky and irritable ones the next.
Even though Isa was an NPC, he was not just “Lea’s friend”. He was certainly far more deserving of character development than ANY Union X character, that’s for sure. Isa seemed like he was more of a feminine archetype. Therefore, he is unlike any other male character in the series. I thought he was very refreshing and unique. He brought something new to the table. Also, based on the way Saïx acted, Isa was not just a cardboard cutout, either. He had interesting flaws to provide him with depth. Evidence suggests he was a typical Moon personality.
Moody
Cancer individuals are also known to have a moody attitude, especially whenever they are jealous. Normally protective and courageous, Cancer signed people could become very brooding and moody if they feel that their emotional needs are not being met. Cancer is all about needing emotional security and trust in a relationship, like all of us of course. But they take it to another level.
If a Cancer feels as though he can’t trust you or if he’s just an insecure guy in general, then his possessive and jealous side is going to come out in a major way. He’ll make snide comments about what you’re wearing and ask you questions about what you’re doing and who you’re with that can rival the time of being a teenager under your parents’ roof.
Man, dos this sound like Saïx or what? He was insanely jealous. While I think Saïx was a totally different personality from Isa, I still think he reflected much of Isa’s personality in him, due to having his memories and captured heart. In the novel, when Roxas was upset he pushed the wrong button, Axel said he knew what it felt like to have something be wrong and not know the reason. Based on the way Saïx acted, Isa sounded very emotionally needy towards Lea. I definitely think he’d be jealous if Lea didn’t spend enough time with him. He might be passive aggressive about it, too.
Unpredictable
Cancer, being a water sign, is very emotional and sensitive. They are very touchy, and can get hurt at the slightest provocation. It is this sensitivity, which makes them hide in their own shell, away from the world, to protect themselves from getting hurt. When they retreat into this shell, and refuse to talk to anybody, people may find them to be moody and unpredictable.
It doesn’t take much for them to go from friendly and outgoing, to totally introverted as a way of protecting themselves. And it can prove quite confusing and unpredictable to the people in their lives. Cancer needs a strong partner who can deal with his various sides and complexity. You never know what will trigger his moods and his evasiveness and his habit of being indirect makes you question if you ever really knew him.
Saïx could also be surprisingly moody and oversensitive once he began to awaken a heart. Axel had no idea why he suddenly started berating Xion and calling her a failure all the time. He wouls walk on eggshells to avoid upsetting him. It was probably easy to push the wrong buttons with Isa and he might not tell Lea what was bothering him right away. In the novel, Axel tried to get Saïx to open up to him by putting his hand on his shoulder, but Saïx brushed it away. This upset Axel and made him think how different things were between them. This said a lot about their relationship as humans. Lea had to put effort to get Isa to open up, but Isa was receptive to it.
Negative
Cancer people are ruled by the Moon, which is ever-changing, and thus they can have moods that can grow dark and darker. It’s common for people with this zodiac sign to struggle with low self-esteem and hold a lifelong grudge against someone. They are someone who sees the glass as half empty rather than half full.
Another trait being their lack of trust in people, they tend to have a negative outlook of life. They become prone to depression, and are unable to enjoy life. They can get hurt at the drop of a hat, and rarely express their resentment and anger.
I think this was why Isa felt like a burden on Lea and was down on himself a lot. Isa needed Lea to be the upbeat optimist for him. Isa was probably snarky and nitpicky with Lea, but in a more playful way. He was the brake, while Lea was the accelerator. This is also a dynamic unique to Lea and Isa. Axel had to be the mature and responsible mentor figure with Roxas and Xion. But with Isa, he was more playful and mischievous. Isa would scold Lea, but Lea never would listen.
Clingy
Cancer is a sign of fertile imagination and deep emotional needs. Cancer individuals are sometimes over-imaginative, which can get them in trouble. They will obsess over the situation until they have all of their answers.
Cancerians are very possessive about their relationships. They can be very clingy, and try to hold on to relationships, even after they have ended it. In relationships, they give much more and expect very little in return. Being emotional and sensitive, they are very easily influenced by their loved ones.
Yep. This is exactly how I think Isa was with Lea. Isa was very attached and gave his whole heart to Lea.
Suspicious
The empathetic crab is inclined to protect themselves. They only trust when they feel safe within relationships, often resorting to their inner world when they do not feel trustful or safe. He needs his moods and anxieties to be understood and if they’re not then he will retreat to his shell and come back out when he feels safe.
Definitely sounds like Isa. He was shy and couldn’t open up to just anybody.
Tumblr media
Cancer Traits
Cancer star sign, the fourth sign of the zodiac is all about home. They are a nurturing and maternal sign. These people love their home and family more than anything else in this world. Cancerians are blessed with strong intuitive and psychic powers that help them judge people well. These people tend to be hard on the outside and soft inside. But they also have a tougher side to their personality.
So, Saïx exhibited all of the typical Cancer flaws. So, it stands to reason that Isa would also exhibit Cancer’s positive attributes, too.
Intuitive
Cancerians are known to be psychic, and can almost guess things before they actually happen. This comes from their highly developed observational powers. They can truly understand human behavior, and rarely forget things. All these make them highly intuitive and psychic.
This is a side of Isa we definitely never saw in Saïx. His scar is on his third eye chakra, which is the center of psychic awareness. It’s why he couldn’t see Xion or understand why Axel acted the way he did. It’s sad actually. A big part of his personality was shut down.
Kind
Emotional strength and intuition will always define Cancer’s top strengths and traits. This is emotional, but kind-hearted and compassionate personality type that makes for an outstanding friend.
I’m sure Isa was very kind and a wonderful friend, which is why Axel was so desperate to have a “best friend” to fill the void.
Emotive
Cancers are known for their traits like loyalty, their emotional depth, and their parenting instincts. Cancer individuals are emotional and intense; they are also extremely intuitive and compassionate. People belonging to this zodiac sign are highly emotional. Just like the crab that represents them, they are hard from outside, but very soft and mushy from within.
Isa scolded Lea a lot, but only because he cared. He was compassionate and selfless, like the Moon Rabbit. If there’s anything KH3 got right about Isa, it’s that he’d try to comfort an imprisoned girl and want to help her.
Faithful
Cancer is the most concerned with a secure and faithful relationship. Cancer individual loves home and family and is not happy unless they have deep emotional ties. Cancer is usually very nurturing and tends to take good care of everyone they care about.
Isa was serious when he said he’d never forget Lea. I definitely think Isa was the one who first gave Lea the WINNER stick, too.
Loving
Cancer individuals are very loving and caring. As the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a Cancer does everything with love in mind and in the heart. Because of this, they are the most tender lovers.
Yes, I do think Lea and Isa were envisioned as a couple. Isa loved Lea. His Bunnymoon weapon has a rocket being launched by a heart. Lea also loved Isa, and this is why Axel was so depressed whenever he thought about how different Saïx was compared to Isa. Axel desperately missed feeling loved by someone. They had an extraordinarily interesting relationship. I don’t think Skuld adds anything except getting in the way and watering down their bond.

SRK Part 4- Master??
~ Super Rich Kids ~ Master List in bio
Part Four - Master??
Genre: Humour, Fluff, Smol Angst
Pairing: Namjoon x Reader
a/n: Sorry that I disappeared for a while, I was really sick and then I got really busy... <3
Class passed by in a blur. You were still caught up in the awkward interaction between you and Namjoon, and the guys hadn’t stopped attacking your twitter account. At least you knew Remi was alive after fleeing to the back of the coffee shop. She had apologized about fifty times to you now, and you kept telling her it was fine, but she still held guilt for taking off. She promised to join the shenanigans next time a chance arose to make up for being a turtle. You quickly packed your things thankful that the day was over, and you could finally go home and relax- Riiiiiiiiiiiiing. You looked at the caller ID. Your manager was calling you. Oh no, no, no. I just want to go home. You picked up anyway, knowing your fate as soon as you hit answer. “Hi Y/N, Mimi called in sick, and we’re already short staffed today, could you please, please, come in for a couple hours. I promise I won’t keep you long, I just need you to cover the rush. PLEASE.” You sighed into the phone. “Yeah, sure. I’ll be there soon. My uniform is still in the back, right?” “Yup! Freshly laundered, I’ll see you in about 15 minutes?” “Yup, just got out of class. I’ll head over now.” You hung up and started walking out of the building.
You were furious. More so that you couldn’t just go home and snuggle up in some sweatpants and stuff some popcorn in your mouth while watching K dramas. Why did someone have to call in? WHY? This day couldn’t get any more hectic. You were so caught up in your thoughts, that you hadn’t even noticed Jimin, Taehyung and Yoongi waving at you. It was mostly Jimin jumping and waving, but either way you were too focused on the path ahead of you, stomping your feet and whispering angrily.
You finally stopped outside of your café, taking a final breath before walking in. You knew you couldn’t walk in angry, it was time to be your over enthusiastic self. You headed straight for the back, trying to avoid anyone that would see you and try to make conversation. The cutesy décor usually helped brighten your day, but you were exhausted, and this just wasn’t going to be fun no matter how short it would be. You threw your things into your locker and got ready as fast as possible. Your hair now hung in two pigtails, and you had done your makeup. You felt as if your dress had a little extra poof today and did a quick twirl in the mirror before heading out front. You walked over to the counter and punched in, then headed over to your manager.
She was a super bright and bubbly person. Very nice, probably the nicest manager you’ve ever had. She treated you all very well and loved to have fun. You greeted her with a curtsey, and she clapped her hands together in excitement. “Oh, thank you so much for coming in, I know you’re probably really tired.” “No worries, you know I have your back if you need me. Do you want me serving tables, or?” “Oh please that would be great, I’ll handle the counter stuff. Jane and Lily should be showing up soon too, so I really don’t need you for more than a couple hours. Thank you so much again.” You gave her a finger heart and spun on your heel to go check out the situation unfolding in the café.
It wasn’t quite busy yet, thankfully. The afternoon rush was always the worst. Only a few tables had people, and it looked like they had already been served. It was just you and your manager until the other two girls would arrive, so you went over to the customers and asked if they needed anything. Everything was going rather smoothly for the most part, until you heard some sort of commotion that sounded like girls’ squeals and giggles and a couple of familiar voices. “Are you sure Y/N is in here, Jimin?” “I definitely saw her come in here, where else would she have gone?”  You stopped dead in your tracks, horror crossing your face.  No freaking way. They did not follow me here. They did not follow me here! You scurried to the back, bringing your tray of dirty dishes with you. You slid everything into the sink and leaned over, your heart pounding.
Your worst nightmare was coming true. You had been found out. They were going to know that you worked at a maid café and your life was going to be over. Lily and Jane hadn’t even showed up yet, so you couldn’t ask them to take your place so you could escape. Shit. What were you going to do? More screams and giggles came from the front. You peeked your head to see what was happening. Taehyung and Jimin had taken a seat, and a gaggle of girls had surrounded them. Jimin had his best smile on, running his hand through his hair as he told them that he wasn’t interested. The girls were not getting the message. Taehyung was relishing in the attention, you could see he lived for this stuff. He was poise and the girls were swooning. You took a deep breath, knowing that your only choice was to go out there and reveal yourself.
You walked over as confidently as you could, a couple menus in hand and pushed yourself through the crowd, shooing them away as you went. One of the girls elbowed you, and if you weren’t working, she would’ve caught hands, but you grinned and told her politely to move. Your manager had come over to force them to either order or leave, allowing you some breathing room, and you sidled over to the table, putting on the cutest smile you could muster in your frustration and embarrassment. “Hello, welcome to our café. Is there anything that I can get for you to drink?” You give them a gentle curtsey and try to act as sweet as possible.
Taehyung went to order first, until he looked up. You watched his eyes widen and mouth open, before looking over to Jimin who was already leaned forward in shock. You felt your heart racing but kept yourself professional. You tilted your head slightly, a small pout forming. “Are you okay? Should I get you some waters to start?” Neither of them moved or talked. You set the menus down. “I’ll give the two of you some time to look over the menu. My favourite is the apple pie! I’ll be right back with the waters!” You gave them another curtsey and a cute grin before sauntering off to the back. You returned quickly with the water and looked around to see if your manager could see you before the smile fell from your face. “Did you two seriously follow me here?” You watched Taehyung break into a grin as he looked you up and down. “Oh honey, you are just so precious I could eat you up.” “I said, did you two seriously follow me here?” Jimin’s face was bright red and he couldn’t meet your eyes. “Yeah, but we were just curious where you were off to in such a hurry with such an angry look. I wanted to make sure you were okay, but then we saw it was a maid café, and we were curious, we didn’t think this is where you worked…” He trailed off, looking at his hands in his lap.
You sighed deeply, closing your eyes. “Well seeing that you two now know. Don’t you dare tell anyone about this. DO YOU HEAR ME? NO ONE. I will literally kill you if anyone else finds out, got it?” Taehyung grabbed your hand and kissed the back of it. “Of course, princess. We’ll keep your secret.” You snatched your hand away and put on your best work face. “Good, so what will you two be ordering?” “That apple pie did sound really good, we’ll split that. And Jimin for the love of God, just look at her and not your hands.” Jimin finally looked up and you met his gaze.  “I’m so sorry Y/N, I didn’t mean to embarrass you. I promise.” “I’ll be back with an apple pie.”  You went to the back and grabbed your phone, shooting a text to Remi about what just happened.
You gave them their pie, and they let you work in peace. Jimin seemed extremely distressed that he had upset you and Taehyung was trying to cheer him up, but it didn’t seem to be working so well. Taehyung ended up leaving, giving you a wave, but Jimin continued to sit at the table. Just as you were finishing up your shift, he called you over.
“Hey, I’m really sorry.” “Jimin, it’s fine. I know your intentions weren’t in the wrong place and people will eventually find out that I work at a maid café, don’t… don’t worry about it, okay? Why didn’t you leave with Tae?” Jimin’s pout didn’t leave, and he started fidgeting with his hands. “You’re done now right? I didn’t leave with Tae because I want to make it up to you.” “What do you mean?” “Well, I know you were probably just going to go home and veg out, but how about I treat you to some dinner and we can hang out?” You stared at him for a solid minute. He continued fidgeting, getting more uncomfortable by the second. “S-sure. Dinner sounds nice. I don’t have anything at home anyway, so yeah. I’ll take you up on your offer.” Jimin’s face beamed, and he sat up straight. “Perfect! Alright! I’ll wait for you here!”
You ran to the back, clocking out on your way. Your coworkers gave you a thumbs up, they clearly noticed who you had been talking to. You sighed, changing back into your regular clothes. Waving bye to the girls, you walked to the door where Jimin was already waiting for you. He was radiating excitement. You pushed past him gently. “Come on Jimin. Let’s go.” He followed behind you like a lost puppy. “So, where are you taking me?” “I figured you had a place in mind, I don’t really know the area.” He was walking beside you now, keeping stride. His hands were stuffed in his pockets and he was trying his hardest not to stare at you. “Oh, true. Hmm. There’s a place down by the docks I like to hang out at sometimes. They have simple food, but it’s good, I promise. Probably not something you’re used to eating though, seeing that you’re a model.” You glanced over at him, quickly checking out his body. Your head spun a little, noticing the way his jeans fit snugly over his muscular thighs. He looked at you questioningly, but you shook your head and continued forward. A smirk played across Jimin’s lips, and he gently nudged you.
You instinctively nudged him back, resulting in a tiny nudge fight between you two. Tension eased between you guys and you felt yourself genuinely smiling. You went to tuck your hair behind your ear, like you always do when you’re nervous, but you felt hands doing it for you. Jimin’s face flushed immediately as he realized what he had done. “Oh, I didn’t mean to. It’s just I saw your hair in your face and, I’m so sorry.” He stuck his hands up defensively. “I know I’ve crossed a lot of lines today. I just, I get nervous and…” “It’s okay, I don’t mind.” You casually laced your arm through his and continued walking. He looked down at your interlocked arms in shock and looked back up at you. “What?” A grin took over his face, his nose scrunching up. “Nothing.”
You walked the rest of the way to the waterfront with linked arms, chatting casually about life and interests. The sun had started to set, twilight gleaming around you. You brought him over to the docks and motioned for him to sit beside you. “I thought we were going to dinner?” He asked, pulling his knees to his chest. “We are, I just wanted to sit here for a little bit first. You don’t mind, do you?” “Of course not. It’s really pretty here.” You sat silently for a couple minutes before Jimin looked at you. “Hey, uh. Thanks for coming out with me Y/N. I know I’ve caused a lot of trouble for you today, but I’m glad you agreed to hang out.”   “I’m glad I agreed. I needed some time out, and you’re not awful to be around Jimin. This has been fun.” You watched him visibly relax, and he scooted closer to you, laying his head on your shoulder. You stiffened at the sudden intrusion of your personal bubble, but as you looked down at this soft boy, all wrapped around himself, you relaxed again. For once, your body didn’t react rashly and instead of fire burning your face, it was a gentle heat that spread through you. You couldn’t help but lean your head on top of his, watching the sun set.
Both of your stomachs growled at the same time, making you burst into laughter. “Guess we should get some food, huh?” You say, starting to get up. “I am so excited to see what you have planned.” Jimin got up with you and you both headed over to the restaurant. You ordered a bunch of food, and Jimin wondered how you were going to be able to eat it all. The two of you were getting along so well, sharing dishes with each other and feeding each other. Time flew, and soon enough you knew it was time to leave. After starting the day not wanting to even be around him, you found yourself not wanting him to leave. “ChimChim, I had such a wonderful time.” Jimin lit up gleefully and he put his arm around your shoulders bringing you in for a side hug.  “You called me ChimChim. I made it, you officially don’t hate me!”  You playfully slapped his arm and slid your arm around his waist as you two walked away from the waterfront.
“I never hated you, I just couldn’t deal with your, uh, lack of personal bubble awareness.” “Yet here you are, with your arm around my waist.” Jimin gave you a sly smile, knowing full well what effect it would have on you. “Do you want me to let go?” You raised your eyebrow and created some distance between you. “NO! I was just kidding!” Jimin grabbed you and pulled you closer with a pout and your heart started pounding. You were suddenly aware of how close he was, and your face started heating up. You didn’t really have experience with guys in general, and now having one as attractive as him by you, you were starting to freak out a bit.
Jimin took his hand and brushed it against your cheek. “What’s up baby girl? Your face is all red.” You couldn’t even get any words out as your breathing shallowed and all you could do was stare at his face. His wonderful, beautiful face. Those full lips. Those- Wait, what was happening? You slammed back into reality and realized you had moved your face inches from his.  Jimin’s eyes were wide with shock and you jerked back. “Wow, uh sorry. I don’t know what got into me. Uh, yeah.” You stammered out, moving farther away from him. “Hey, no it’s fine-” “Yeah, so you don’t have to walk me home it’s fine, I don’t live far. Thanks again for treating me to dinner Jimin. I’ll see you around, okay?”  “Y/N, wait!”  You quickly walked away, tears forming in your eyes due to frustration with yourself. You couldn’t believe you did that. He must think I’m insane. Oh God. Why am I like this? You felt a tug on your hand, and you spun around.
Jimin was clinging onto your hand, a look of hurt on his face. His expression only worsened as he noticed you had started crying. You tried to pull your hand away, but he held on tighter and pulled you towards him, embracing you. “Hey, hey. Why are you crying?” He said soothingly, patting you on the head. You figured you weren’t going to be able to fight him off, so you muttered into his shirt. “I’m sorry, I just, ughhhhhh.”  “It’s okay, come on, I’ll walk you home. There’s no way I’m going to let you go alone in the dark.” He gently pushed you away and started walking. You walked beside him, your head hanging low as feelings attacked you. You didn’t know what to say, so you stayed silent. You felt Jimin giving you looks occasionally, but you just couldn’t meet his gaze, not after what you just almost did.
You reached the front steps of your building and finally made eye contact with Jimin. He gave you a soft smile, even though you could see in his eyes he was concerned about you. “Thanks for walking me home, I think I got it from here.” You muttered, your mouth twitching upwards half-heartedly. “You sure you’re okay?” “Yeah, no worries. I’ll manage. Thanks again.” You turned away and opened the door, but Jimin grabbed at you.  “You don’t seem okay… It’s my fault right? I overstepped. Ugh, I’m overstepping right now. I should just let you go, please don’t hate me.” The way he looked at you, the way he spoke, your stupid heart couldn’t stay mad, couldn’t let him leave. You sighed deeply and rubbed your head. “Hey, if you want… Did you want to uh, stay the night? Sleepover? I don’t want to end our night on such a bum note. Especially because I had so much fun.” “Are you sure? I don’t want to intrude…” “Yeah, I’m sure. I live alone anyway, it would be nice to have company for once.”  Jimin followed you through the door and up to your apartment. You took another deep breath before opening the door and walking in.
Jimin’s curiosity was coming off him in waves. You put your backpack down and turned the lights on. “Oh Y/N, your house is so cute!” He immediately started scouring the surrounding area, picking things up and cooing over everything. You smiled to yourself and showed him the living room. “You can crash on the couch, my bedroom is just over there,” You said pointing down the hall. “The bathroom is right across, don’t worry about asking for anything you have my permission to grab whatever you need.”  Jimin’s hand wrapped around yours. “What if I need you?” You shook his hand away and started walking down the hall. “Ha. Ha. There’re blankets on that shelf. Make yourself comfortable, I’m going to get my pjs on.” You went into your room going directly to your dresser and whipping out your most modest pair of pjs and slipping them on. How could you let him into your house and invite him to stay the night? Were you mad? You had to be. You had never let any guy stay over before, but it was fine he was just going to be on the couch. You had rooms and a door to separate you. It would be fine. You slumped onto your bed, tears returning. This was just too much, you couldn’t believe what you were doing, what you had done, who knows what would happen next?
As if on cue, Jimin knocked on your door. “Y/N? I thought I heard sniffling, you’re not crying again, are you?” He slowly opened your door, his head peeking through. You looked up at him, then let your head fall on the bed again. He came in slowly, cautiously. You didn’t move. He crept up to the side of the bed and sat on it and began stroking your head. “You know, you can just tell me what’s bothering you…” You repositioned yourself so that you were looking up at him, while still laying on the bed. “It’s just. This day has been a lot. I’m not used to this stuff. I don’t hang out with anyone outside of Remi and my coworkers sometimes. Especially guys. I am helpless when it comes to that, and you. You’re just so nice and god, you’re so attractive and I find myself not really knowing how to handle you.” Jimin let out a low chuckle and pulled at your arm. You obliged and laid your head on his leg. “You are really interesting, you know that? I enjoy you just the way you are. Crazy and all.” He laughed again and booped your nose. You scrunched your nose and he brushed the hair out of your face. “I instantly knew you were one of a kind Y/N, which is why I’ve been so persistent in hanging out with you. I had a feeling we would get along. I’m glad I was right. I want to continue hanging out with you and getting to know you better.”
You tilted your head and looked him in the eyes. They were so sincere, and you couldn’t help but smile, even though you were also blushing like crazy from his statement. His finger traced the top of your cheek and your eyes fluttered shut at his touch. “I would love to hang out with you more ChimChim.” Your breathing started getting heavier as he lightly traced your face. You could feel yourself drifting to sleep. Jimin went to get up, but you stopped him. “No, no don’t leave.”  “But, you told me to sleep on the couch…”  “No, stay with me. Your presence comforts me.” You rolled away, now half asleep. Jimin looked at you and then the bed, his face blushing. He pulled on the blankets and covered you before covering himself. You rolled back over to him, cuddling into his chest. “Night, Chim…”  You muttered before you were completely taken over by sleep. “Night Y/N.” He whispered to you, playing with your hair before he too fell asleep.

★ “Salman Khan is the ROCKY and RAMBO of Bollywood” – Ali Abbas Zafar !
Faridoon Shahryar | Nov 8, 2017
The promo of Tiger Zinda Hai is getting an insane response. Writer Director Ali Abbas Zafar in a worldwide exclusive with Bollywood Hungama‘s Faridoon Shahryar opens up in detail about his film that has displayed an international class. Ali speaks about Salman Khan‘s star power, the hard working Katrina Kaif, the exotic locations that blazed with heat, the music of the film and how he convinced Girish Karnad sahab to act in the film.
The promo of Tiger Zinda Hai is far bigger than what the posters promised. And if this is the trailer toh film kya hone wali hai. Is it a conscious decision to take a film like this to many notches higher than Sultan?
Well I didn’t feel that was the reason I made Tiger Zinda Hai. I always feel that the scale of the film comes from the story. The most important part of Tiger Zinda Hai is that even before it became a sequel, first I wrote the story and I had no idea it will go and become Tiger Zinda Hai. I just wrote a story and it was inspired by real events and it happened in 2014. There was so much press coverage of it and there were so many political meetings about it. And I thought that those nurses getting kidnapped and captured was a very interesting chapter. It was a completely individual story than a Tiger Zinda Hai sequel. I shared the story with Aditya Chopra while we were shooting Sultan and he said what are you doing after this and I said I don’t know. So he said koi kahani hai? And I kind of shared the story with him. He said the story is very good. And when Sultan released he said ab kya karna hai? So I told him the same story as a Tiger sequel, and he started smiling and he said that’s a smart one. I think both Katrina and Salman came on board because they felt that the story was worth telling in a genre that I want to tell. It’s an action drama, it’s a spy espionage but what triggers the entire genre is the story. That is what brings scale to the film. When I wrote the entire script and took it to Adi, first thing he did was take a breath and said that we have to mount it like an international film. He told me you can’t make it look like a substandard film, get the crew from entire world, find the best crew to execute it. So when you see the trailer and the film you’ll see that we put detailed attention to how that country looks. A country that is in the middle of a war, as the film is triggered by a real story we kept the tone of the film very real. Salman’s Tiger character and Katrina Kaif’s character will give you the flamboyance of a hero and a heroine but they are still contained. They are not like Superhero and Wonder woman, they are real and emotional.  There is a reason why they are on that mission, their internal chemistry and what’s going on between the two of them. Characters from the first part are there, then there are new characters, the cast is from all around the world, Iran Abu Dabi, Dubai, UK, America. It’s an ensemble cast.
A film becomes a talking point because of its topic. This film is not only about guns blazing and high octane action. You are having references to ISIS, turmoil of middle-east, trailer starts of from Iraq for that matter. You mention Pakistani agent and Katrina Kaif comes into the picture. You are talking about brotherhood across the world. How crucial was it to tie all the ends together?
I think as a story teller and a film maker, one needs to have clarity on why you are making a film! There’s a line in the film which sums up the plot which is “Aaj dunia ko ek hee cheez ki zarurat hai, aur woh hai insaaniyat”. Whenever there will be a fight between right and wrong, humanity will be at stake. Where are we taking this world to? That is the general broadline stroke of the film. We talk about emotions at a very human level. We are not talking about the political side of it. As soon as the things become political people start taking sides. What we are taking sides is that there is a story about these girls, they get kidnapped and as a human what would be my duty to get those people out of there or not. And obviously as a trained agent there is a respect to the country and duty is bigger than everything. Patriotism is important for the country. It’s a mix of a lot of emotions and at the same time the key story is about this rescue mission where these agents are going to go and get you out of there.
Salman Khan did Tubelight. It also spoke about humanity but the film didn’t do well at the Box Office. How crucial is it for Salman Khan after Tubelight to make a big comeback in terms of Box-Office?
Well obviously I have a lot of pressure on Tiger Zinda Hai. It’s a sequel of a very successful film. It has Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in it. They are both very big stars plus I did Sultan with him which made a lot of money at the box-office. So there is a lot of pressure, but hit or flop is a part of our game. No one knows what’s going to work at the box office till the time it really comes out. As film makers we can only believe in stories which we want to see and there is a certain way of presenting those stories. I never went to film school, most of my schooling happened at the cinema where I went to theatres watching films in Dehradun. I always believed that every star that I saw in the theatre had certain strengths like Salman had certain strength, Aamir Khan had a certain strength, Mr. Bachchan had some strength and SRK’s strength is different. I like celebrating Salman as Salman and I am very honest about it. One of my favourite films while growing up was Karan Arjun; he was brilliant in that film. The way he has done Tere Naam, I was in college when it came out. Tiger, Wanted and even Dabangg for that matter. Sultan was an ode to his stardom. What I feel is that if you humanize Salman Khan, his impact is more at the box-office and even his reach. So even when his fans find out that he has a heart and even he gets hit, but when he rises it will be the biggest comeback. So we have to create stories around him where you find that the character resonates Salman Khan’s persona. There is no one who can carry a name like tiger better than Salman Khan. He is very charismatic. Like I always say if there is one guy who is Rocky and Rambo in the industry that’s Salman Khan.  There is no other actor who can look like Rambo other than Salman Khan. He has his own charisma, style and swag. When he is little self-brooding you know, he speaks less but when he speaks it’s nice because he has lovely voice. There is different charisma of the way he speaks his line and that’s what people love about him. I like him like that and I always say that if I am doing a film with Salman Khan, I have to have moments like these. If I am not an audience of my own film, I don’t know how many people would be an audience of my film. My understanding of him as an actor is that you know I will write a scene and every morning I will go to his van and I will tell him to see and he will tell me 2 or 3 things and we will discuss and then we will find this ground where there is a great balance between the character and Salman Khan. He doesn’t work on the rhythm of what I write and I think that’s where both of us have now found the space where I know I have to respect the stardom that he holds and that this is character that his stardom has to fit into. That up till now is working like magic with him.
One other notable part of the film is the look. Colour tone is prominent and it’s a dessert colour look. Was that a conscious decision?
Ya the thing is that, when we make films that are set in certain set ups, for example a war country, we need to do enough research to portray how those countries look on camera. We were fortunate enough that we wanted to capture summer of Iraq. We shot most of our film in Morocco and a huge part in Abu Dhabi where we recreated the set. Luckily we were there in the peak of Summer. So half of the tone that you see on camera is the natural tone which was captured while shooting. So I did not have to do much in post to get that tone.  Lot of times there is sweat on actors’ face that is real sweat because the temperatures were 50 degree Celsius. There are certain films which require budget for projection; Tiger Zinda Hai is amongst those films where budget has gone to make a film look a certain way. We have recreated a water on city in Abu Dabi. 3000 people were working day and night to create that set. It was the biggest set that we put outside India. There was no way we could go to Iraq. The research happened through people who I know who stay there. But majorly it was how we recreate it, how we set design it, how we costume design it and how we shoot it. Most of my crew was international and specially people who have worked in those terrains. My production designers, my costume designers everyone. My action designers are from LA. All started from the script, all read the script and the kind of the stand that the script took towards the end of the film all thought it is the kind of film they all want to be a part of. The energy just changes when you know that you are doing something worth telling.
Background score is playing an important part. It’s almost a character in the film. How many songs?
Obviously in an espionage drama theme is the most important thing and I think Ek Tha Tiger had a very strong background score. Julius and I are very close, he has done work in all my films and when we came to this one I thought we need to do a rendition of a theme. People are liking the background score because we did a very bizarre thing. We mixed the whole brass section which is like this old school James Bond style with a very electro riff. It’s an amalgamation of two schools which kind of sits on the bed of those backgrounds. It has this old school brass section which is playing the riff and it changes to new EDM distorted rough mix which kind of complements Iraq. It took a lot of time. Vishal Shekhar produced entire music for the song that’s going to come out in an album. I love the music. There are 5 songs which they have created. 2 of them are very beautiful songs and we hope that people will like them.
Finally something about Girish Karnad sahab. He wasn’t well but you still convinced him to be a part of the film.
Because he is the RAW chief and it’s a sequel. He is a brilliant actor and there are no two ways about it. But he is not keeping well, we wish him well. The kind of person he is, he is a fighter. He has a problem with his respiratory system and he needs a continuous flow of oxygen in his nose. When I approached him he told me I am not keeping well. I asked what has happened. He said I have to carry this oxygen pack with me even when I sleep so it has become difficult for me to travel. I said do you want to do it? He said I want to do it. I like acting. I don’t want to say no to you like that. I said we’ll make you as comfortable as possible. He said send me the script. So when he read the script he said I want to do it. I said are you sure? He told that I have taken a decision and I will make sure I’ll come and do it. He plays an important part and so it’s good to see him. An actor of that calibre and Salman Khan come from very different schools but they gel brilliantly on camera. Salman loves him and respects him a lot.

SRK Part 3- This Isn’t So Bad
~Super Rich Kids~
Part Three - This isn’t so Bad Master List in bio Genre:  Humor, fluff, smol angst
Pairing: Namjoon x Reader Before you can scream, one hand covers your mouth while the other forces you to turn around. “REMI!” Your squeal is muffled by her hand. She doesn’t bother answering you as she’s peering around the bookshelf she pulled you behind. “Okay. I’m going to forgive you for not texting me, even though I’ve been wondering where you’ve been, because wow. Who the HELL ARE THOSE GUYS?” Remi’s eyes were practically bulging out of her head, and you could see her face reddening as realization continued to seep in. “You just waltz into here like it’s completely normal that you’re with four strange dudes, sorry, four extremely hot strange dudes. I need deets, and I need them now, because I am going to have to go over there and do my godforsaken job, and I can’t believe you have just betrayed me like this. MY OWN BEST FRIEND.” You wiggled free from her grasp and grabbed her shoulders.  “Deep breath girl, I know, I didn’t want to spring them on you like this, but it’s been a DAY. I made a fool out of myself in class this morning, and Jimin wanted me to hang out, and I couldn’t just say no to him, YOU SEE THESE MEN. YOU SEE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. I COULDN’T JUST SAY NO.” The intense whispers between you and Remi were starting to concern the surrounding customers, who were just trying to find a good book and you were clearly in the way -insert eye roll.
The two of you peeked around the bookcase to see what the guys were doing. They were spread out in the plush chairs, looking completely at home. You couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but Jimin was doubled over laughing, while Jin was shaking his head angrily at Jungkook, who was just shrugging. Taehyung looked like he wanted nothing to do with the mess unfolding before him. You looked back to Remi to find her starting to sink inside the sweater she was wearing. “I can’t do this. I’m turtling. I’m going to turtle!” Remi squeaked and hid half her face. “They’re really nice, I swear! Also, this is only four out of seven…” “SEVEN?! ARE THE OTHERS COMING HERE TOO?” “No, no don’t worry about it,” Your mind instantly went to the missing three, and you scrunched your face as you thought of Namjoon. Would he even be able to relax like the rest of them? You couldn’t imagine him being able to joke around and be goofy when he looked so damn stuffy and high maintenance. Remi stared at you quizzically, watching you get lost in your thoughts. You shook your head. “The others are busy. And who knows, this might be the only time we see these guys. Once they realize how much of a loser I am, they’ll lose interest.” Remi smacked your arm.  “You are not a loser. And I can’t believe I’m saying this but get over there. I’m going to spend another minute taking some deep breaths and finding my zen before I come out to grab your orders.”
Remi shoved you away, and you stumbled, knocking one of the tables and smacking your shin. You sighed in pain, why were you always so clumsy? “Y/N! Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?” Jimin called from his chair, looking deeply concerned. You knew if you said yes, he would most likely bolt right over and start cooing over you, so you shook your head no and walked over to the group. You noticed right away that there wasn’t a chair for you. The disappointment must’ve showed on your face, because Jimin leaned towards you, his expression changing to a sly grin. “There weren’t any chairs left to fit all of us, so you can just sit on my lap.” Before you even had time to protest, Jimin had pulled you down and you fell on top of him. His hands went to the spot where you had hit the table and he gently caressed your leg. “Oh, baby girl, you did hurt yourself.”
Every part of you that touched Jimin lit on fire. Feelings that you couldn’t quite put a name to were overwhelming you and all you wanted to do was scream and run and hide in a corner until you could get a hold of yourself. Jin, Jungkook and Taehyung all stared in your direction, making you even more uncomfortable than you already were. The only solution you could come up with was to hide your face in your hands. “Y/N? You can sit between Jin and I, there’s enough room. You don’t have to give in to this thirsty boy’s shenanigans.” Jungkook suggested, and you flipped yourself off of Jimin and dove into the small spot between the two larger guys. “Kookie, that wasn’t nice, and I am not thirsty! You are giving Y/N the wrong ideas about me!” Jimin started complaining, his full lips turning into a frown. He sunk back into his chair with displeasure. “I’m giving her the wrong ideas? I have never laid eyes on such filth.” “Yikes.” You blurted out, your hands still covering your face. Jin gently punched you on the arm amused. You peeked from your hands and gave Jin a small smile. You could still hear Jimin grumbling and huffing across from you, his knees pulled to his chest.
“Hey, uh, excuse me.” Remi was standing beside the five of you, her notebook out. She looked at you, and only you. “Are you ready to order?” Wanting to move the attention to someone else, you decided to tell the guys that she was your best friend that you had mentioned earlier. The guys immediately lit up with excitement, throwing compliments at her along with their coffee orders. You watched her carefully, noticing her voice become quieter and she started sinking into her sweater again. You leaned over Jin and grabbed her hand.
“Ignore these fools,” you whispered, trying to send her positive vibes and encouragement. “Remi!” Taehyung shouted, “You should hang out with us sometime! We would love to see you and Y/N together as a duo. I feel like you would fit in perfectly with us. If you weren’t working, I would say join us now, but, y’know.” “Uh, yeah, maybe next time. I’m going to put your orders in and then I’ve got some stuff to do in the back. It was really nice to meet you, you’re all so… enjoyable. Y/N, girl, text me later.” Remi shuffled away, and you knew she was at her limit of handling the situation.  You looked back to the guys, wondering how you got yourself into this mess.
A different server brought your drinks to the table, and you knew you wouldn’t see Remi again for the rest of your time here. You grabbed your mug, taking a long sip. Caffeine would help. It always helped and right now it felt like a lifeline that you were desperately clinging to. Besides, you still had another class to get through before you could finally call it a day and go home. The five of you were getting along so well. Jin making awful puns, causing you to punch him numerous times in disgust, Jungkook calling out Jimin every time he tried to make even a slight move on you, Jimin pouting for 75% of the time, Taehyung giving everyone fashion advice and showing off his photo shoot pictures. It was a beautiful sight to behold. The more you talked, the more you felt a bond forming between you guys. You thought about the ones that weren’t there, and a small pang rang through you. You wanted to get to know them as well, and maybe you would eventually. The guys all seemed extremely close, so there was a definite chance you would be hanging out with all of them some time.
You looked at your phone for the first time in a while, only to be met with the time staring you in the face once again. “FOR REAL?!” You started grabbing for your bag, trying to get yourself together. The guys looked at each other in confusion, before realization crossed their faces. “SHIT. YOU HAVE CLASS. WE HAVE CLASS.” Jin screamed, flying out of his seat. The others followed suit and soon enough you were all screaming goodbye to Remi, who was still in the back, and flying out of the coffee shop. The five of you ran all the way back to the school, screaming goodbyes and continuing on. A part of you felt a sense of relief, finally being on your own again, and the other part of you was upset you didn’t even get any of their numbers. Your phone pinged, and you had a twitter notification. Somehow, they had found your twitter. Already.  Jimin probably found it first. You were too busy looking at your phone, that you hadn’t noticed yourself approaching a tall figure, rather quickly.
Your entire body collided with the person and soon enough, you found yourself on top of said human. A whimper escaped your mouth as the other person wheezed. “Oh my God, I am so sorry. I wasn’t paying attention, this is all my fault-” “You’re damn right this is your fault. Why weren’t you watching where you were-” The two of you stopped as soon as you realized who the other was. You quickly got up and brushed yourself off, your face brightening.  Why him? Why him? Why me? Why now?
It looked like Namjoon was thinking the exact same thing as you. His face soured and he crossed his arms, and you couldn’t help but notice a faint blush staining his cheeks. He’s embarrassed. Your blood started to heat at the sight of something so adorable, and you tried to push it down, but it wasn’t happening. “S-sorry.” You stuttered, looking at your feet.  How could this happen twice now? Was this fate? Was destiny trying to make you mortal enemies? “It’s fine.” He replied curtly. “A-alright, I’ll, uh, continue to class then. S-sorry again. I didn’t mean to ruin your day twice…” You grabbed the edges of your shorts, put your head down and tried your hardest to just walk past him, but he grabbed your arm to stop you.
Your eyes widened and you looked up at him. His sunglasses were on his head now and you could really see what he looked like. You felt a blush rising in you, but you couldn’t move. The wind played through his hair, and your heart skipped. His lips were slightly parted, as if he was trying to figure out what to say to you. You saw the darkness under his eyes, he looked barely functional. That was probably why he had been wearing sunglasses. You instantly felt all the annoyance and anger leave your body, and every inch of you wanted to wrap him in your arms and tell him it would be okay. You could feel the weight he was carrying just by looking at him. As if he felt you reading him, he let go of your arm and put his sunglasses back on. He took a couple steps before turning his head to the side. “You… you didn’t ruin my day.” It was as if his voice carried on the wind. It was barely audible, but you heard it. Your feet were still frozen in place, and you watched him walk away.
You instantly thought of the things the guys had mentioned earlier. How whatever Namjoon and the other two were working on was some sort of secret. You had no idea what it could possibly be, but it was clearly taking a toll on him, and as you walked the rest of the way to class you found yourself thinking of ways to cheer him up.
