i believe these should be right? hopefully those are to your liking!

NOW!! my update. now that i've got a consistent process for making sure models look as good as they can, i've gone back and replaced some of the ones that looked a little less-than-stellar due to my old process. these include hatenna, hattrem, sinistea, and polteageist. i've edited the original posts to include their updated models (and they should look just like they do in-game now!) i debated about whether i wanted to reblog the posts to make sure everyone could see them (especially since i imagine not many folks read responses to asks [especially not this early in the morning]), but i figured i would just link them here just in case so as to not spam your dashboards (and possibly notifications, if you have those on! i'd like to be courteous on your cognitive load!)

i find it hard to believe anyone likes mr mime, really. i think it's hard to take one look at it and not feel a primal sense of Disgust for this creature

A reunion, when Stephen comes back to Tony disappearing after his accident. A little bit of anger and then acceptance from Tony.

Stephen held his breath as Tony caught sight of him sitting on the edge of their bed.

The silence ached. “I don’t know whether to tell you to get the hell out,” Tony said finally, leaning against the doorframe. “Or that your fashion sense has seriously degraded.”

Stephen tried to smile. “Are those my options? I… I hoped you wouldn’t kick me out.”

Tony’s lips pressed thin. “I’m not sure I’m giving you the choice.” Stephen saw Tony’s hand clench slightly before Tony’s body language shifted into determined disinterest. “I bought out your half of the apartment; you signed the papers.” Stephen flinched. The pain had nearly shattered him when those papers had arrived at Kamar-Taj: a sign Tony had found Stephen but had given up on him. Stephen hadn’t known what to do but sign. “You have no actual right to be here.”

“You didn’t change the locks,” Stephen said quietly. “My key worked.”

Tony didn’t even try to hide the fake in his smile. “Whoops. Forgot something.”

“Pepper wouldn’t let you forget,” Stephen said. “She’d have done it herself. Unless you stopped her.” Stephen clung to that knowledge; some part of Tony wanted Stephen to come back.

Tony looked away, an admission Stephen was right.

Stephen focused on why he was here. “Tony, let me come back. Let me make this right. Please.”

Tony scoffed. “That easy?”

“I expect you’ll make me work for it,” Stephen said honestly. “You should.”

Tony gaze searched Stephen’s own for answers. Stephen hoped that he saw just how badly Stephen wanted this.

The silence stretched as Tony debated. Finally Tony sighed. “Your fashion sense has seriously degraded, Stephen.”

Relief hit hard. He could stay. Tony would let Stephen make this right. “You think this is bad? Wait, until you meet my cloak.”

the dark sbi server had another secret santa this year, this was my gift :}

bit of lore i couldnt add bc it would be ten pages longer:

neapolitan trio are demon brothers, phil is their demon dad. techno is the oldest, and he was taken years ago by evil angels or smth idk, he had his memories supressed and for the longest time thought he was human and joined the war on the angelic forces's side.

tommy and wil are tasked to get him back, and tommy does so first, but he wants some time with his brother who is always busy!! so he pretends to be a human child and follows him around. techno grows fond of him and wants to protect him.

wilbur eventually finds him and tommy refuses to give him victory, so the gig is up!!

techno does spend more time with tommy later on ^-^

i think the most annoying part of dog food discourse is how many people will act as though proplan/hill’s/Royal canin diets aren’t extremely and prohibitively expensive and that THAT is the reason so many people look into healthy alternatives.

People complain about corn being in the first five ingredients on most of those feeds because, regardless of other factors here, that is not an expensive ingredient. But it makes up a large chunk of the dry food. So the dry food should be fairly affordable, right?

Oh… with tax you’re spending about $100 for one 45lb bag of food where the third ingredient is wheat and the fourth and fifth ingredients are corn.

Oh… well! It’s slightly cheaper! But the second ingredient is rice, third is wheat, fourth is corn, and then fifth is poultry byproduct. None of those are very expensive so this just must be the low end cost of dog food unfortunately. The vets recommend it so surely that means prices aren’t inflated, right?

Oh? This one has similar ingredients with the only real difference being no corn? And it’s half the price?? Well surely that’s just a fluke.

Oh. Oh no.

This one even has CORN in it and it’s $20 cheaper?? Wow!

Like listen at some point I don’t care if your dog food has the ichor of the gods in it, I’m not spending $100 every five days if there are cheaper options with just as many “good” ingredients in it. If you think I’m a dog abuser because I can’t afford this overpriced garbage, that’s too bad. I don’t care. My dogs are perfectly healthy with the food I give them. Great weight and great coat. People giving dog food recommendations that aren’t those top three hyper-expensive dog foods aren’t trying to epic own those dastardly vets half the time, but I really don’t blame the ones who do lose trust in vets when the only heartworm protection they recommend lately are expensive triple-action brands like Simparica Trio that costs $120+ as opposed to the other heartworm protections that are only about $40-$60 on average, which is still cheaper even if you add on a $20-$40 flea and tick protection separately, and only recommend dog food that costs $85+ a bag even if your dog doesn’t have specialized dietary needs.

Those top three foods are GREAT at making competent prescription diets, I don’t deny that. I do still have to criticize the pricing of those prescription diets though because I have spoken to DOZENS of people who had to pull their pets off of a prescription diet and struggle to find something comparable because they couldn’t afford the food, and that’s terrible! These are not poor companies! Purina, Royal Canin, and Hill’s can ABSOLUTELY afford to lower their prices to make their food accessible to people who need it for their animals but they don’t. They probably never will. Because at the core they are run by greedy corporations. It doesn’t matter how many good nutritionists are on board if the company is run by people who put profits over customers and make the food impossible for people to afford.

#I keep seeing posts from people on both sides of this #and it is frustrating to see how many vets don’t seem to acknowledge #that a MASSIVE part of the dog food debate has and always will be #the inaccessibility of these three brands #because whether corn is good or bad or neutral for a dog #It’s a cheap ingredient #any meat byproducts are a cheap ingredient #wheat in any form is a cheap ingredient #rice is a cheap ingredient #they aren’t putting Diamond dust and gold flakes in the kibble it’s very accessible and affordable ingredients for the most part #and many comparatively smaller companies use very similar ingredients and make food people can actually afford #So yeah when people look at these factors it does make them distrust vets who will almost exclusively push expensive brands #and that’s where the distrust is coming from #it’s not primarily smug tiktok kids who think they know everything #it’s just people who have less money than you and get treated like they care less for their animals because of it lol #and people who feel scammed because anything veterinary is already expensive to the point not everyone can afford it as regularly as needed #the fact people have to give pets vaccines themselves to make ends meet because most vets charge so much just to walk in the door #is a sign of a larger problem #I criticize people who avoid taking animals with surprise sickness or injuries to the vet #but it’s not exactly hard to see why that isn’t even an option for a lot of people #people can’t even afford surgery on themselves if they’re suddenly injured out of the blue in this country #So I can’t pretend to be shocked they don’t have $10k squirreled away if something unavoidable happens to a pet #no one is entitled to an animal they can’t afford yes yes but a routine vet visit shouldn’t be $600-$1000 per animal sorry #give me a copay or something

It's quite hard to put this into words, and I don't mean to sound as if anyone is wrong or should be ashamed of interpreting things in different ways, because that's absolutely not what I mean, but following on from the whole "there IS a platonic explanation if you're not a coward" thing...

Is it me, or are romantic interpretations of characters, scenes, lines of dialogue etc, often considered more valid or important than aromantic interpretations, even if there's significantly less evidence for them? A character could be consistently and repeatedly showing disinterest in romance, subtextually or even textually (!!) aro, but if there's even the slightest thing that could potentially be twisted and viewed in a romantic sense, that will end up taking priority, no matter how much reaching is involved. Anything that can be seen as romantic automatically gets valued higher than the mountains of everything else screaming that it's not the case. Even if it's out of character, even if it goes directly against established canon, even if you have to jump through hoops to get there.

And like, theoretically it's fine, I don't mind in the slightest how people interpret things. It's all personal and subjective and that's fine! But the fact that valuing romantic interpretations so highly to the detriment of anything else is so widespread to the point where sometimes it feels like you're the silly one if you're seeing an obviously aro character as aro, that romantic interpretations are just inherently more important somehow, or that they just inherently make more sense... It feels almost like to most people, the non-romantic interpretation is the absolute last resort, the one you'll only be forced to concede to if there is absolutely no romantic way you can spin it.

I don't know what I'm trying to say here, really. I guess it's just tiring watching people dig and twist and reach and put so much effort into finding ways to throw away as much blatant aromantic subtext as they can because they see literally any tiny hint of romance to be preferable, and then that gets picked up on by everyone else and becomes the prevailing interpretation... It doesn't happen nowadays anywhere near as much as it used to, and for that I'm glad. But it absolutely does still happen. And yes, I do think people should be able to look at things and interpret them however they want, but... man, as an aromantic, it's tiring.

Personally, I felt like episode 8 was the show telling us it wasn't going to be renewed. After 7+8 I never had any hope for its renewal. It just felt too final, and not in a good way, but rather that the show had no confidence that it would get renewed either. If it had ended on a cliffhanger I would at least felt something like sadness towards the show not getting renewed.

And even if it was renewed I felt like it wouldn't be able to fix any of the issues that season 2 had, but rather just continue them further. Max seemed really ready to sabotage the show long before it even was renewed, and with the various production restraints that the show encountered during s2 I can only figure as much.

Like if the issue was the budget, that'll still be a problem, if its the pacing I have no confidence that hbo would renew it for more than 8 episodes, and if the problem was executives changing the show and altering beloved characters thats not going away either.

I remember reading that s2 underperformed compared to S1 and it also ended with alienating a large (and active) portion of the audience, but it in terms of online interaction it still out performs many of the shows on the platform that have been renewed and is a well rated show that has an audience. We already know that the head of warner bros is a turd of a man whose only interest is money for himself, and whose choice surrounding HBO/Max has been incredibly stupid and demeaning towards all forms of filmmaking

I feel like it was intentionally set up to fail, because all Max wants is cheap TV or at least a show that can be drawn out forever and make as much money as possible, which Ofmd isn't, its a 3 season show with sets that have to he constructed, vfx that needs done, and costumes that need sewn. They cut the budget, shortened the episodes, and influenced the story all to make it look bad, so they could justify their decision of not renewing it while also getting to rack in money from ofmd's fanbase one last time.

The trick to me getting a proper night's rest is for me to start getting into bed at a point where I am tired enough that I'll fall asleep quickly, but not so tired that the executives refuse to function and the "getting into bed" process gets dragged out for hours.
