The TUA brainrot has reached new levels. I noticed in S1E2 when Diego is speaking to several people as he crosses the gym that one guy responds to him in Spanish. All he says is one word, 'Sí', a word most people, regardless of whether they speak Spanish or not, know the meaning of, and yet I've spun it into a whole headcanon explaining why Diego speaks Spanish like a native speaker.

Because I've seen people point out that Reggie teaching the Umbrellas the languages related to their cultural backgrounds doesn't explain Diego speaking Spanish with a Mexican accent and using regional slang when he speaks. However, if there are Spanish speakers who work in or frequent the gym maybe Diego started speaking Spanish with them, picked up slang and other markers of 'home Spanish', and developed more of an accent through speaking with them over time. In fact, I love to think they intentionally tried to help Diego with his Spanish and sounding more like a native speaker because he was embarassed that he sounded like someone who spoke it as a second language despite being of Latin American descent.

And you might be thinking, 'Okay the guy speaks to him in Spanish, but Diego speaks to him in English', but stuff like that isn't at all uncommon in bilingual friendships. I'm a native English speaker, and I lived in Lanzarote for 6 months in 2012 on university placement. While I was never completely fluent in Spanish, I got pretty close in that time. I had friends and roommates who were native Spanish speakers and were also fluent in English. We mixed and changed and combined languages all the time. When I first moved there I was so determined to improve my Spanish I would more or less only speak Spanish, even when people spoke English to me which meant I regularly had conversations with friends where we were speaking separate languages. I was so used to switching languages when I moved back to Ireland more than once i said something in Spanish before remembering no one around me spoke it. So Diego speaking English in that moment doesn't mean they don't also speak Spanish together. It just means they probably speak a mix of English and Spanish.

(Yes I know the real reason Diego speaks Spanish like a native Mexican speaker is because he is played David Casteñada who is Mexican, and the scene where he argues with Ben was improvised, but I will never not overanalyse and create headcanons for this show, especially if they explain plotholes)

I have recently come to the conclusion that if my Genshin Impact account was self aware, my Bennet would be slightly even more unlucky than a regular Bennet. This is due to my birthday and since its coming up I've been brainrotting for the past few days. Let me explain:

Bennet's birthday is February 29th, aka Leap Year. This means Benny only has a real birthday once every four years, which is bad enough. But according to canonical game lore, when he doesn't have his actual birthday, he celebrates it on the 28th.

My birthday is February 28th.

Now, I'd like to think that in your typical SAGAU the creator's birthday is a BIG DEAL. I'm talking festivals, parades, feasts, gifts exchanged between friends and family as well as gifts offered to the creator! The whole nine yards! An entire world partying from sunrise to moonset.

So with this in mind, Bennet's birthday would either be celebrated the day after the biggest holiday party in Teyvat (meaning everyone who attends would be all partied out) or during my birthday (meaning that everyone would be focused on ME instead of Bennet, which is just unfair! He can't even take pride in being born the same day as the creator b/c he was born the day after!!!!).

Anyway, if I was isekai'd to Genshin and worshipped as a god, I would simply give Bennet his own holiday. Poor kiddo deserves a win and if it takes me telling my acolytes quote, "Everyone will to celebrate Bennet's holiday. No exceptions, no excuses. And if his holiday party doesn't end up a success, I will destroy all of Teyvat and then myself. :3c" then so be it. That last statement is a joke, but watching everyone try their absolute hardest to give my adopted little brother the best birthday possible would be worth the fear of the vague threat of the world's destruction in the eyes of my worshipers me thinks.

Boudica, I can honestly not see Jalter caring to make it, they're just gonna use it again later why remake it only to mess it up again??? Makes no sense.

WHEN Jalter sleeps she is a sleep until noon person, but she more often than not does NOT sleep, so in that sense she's technically awake first.

who has the weird taste in music:

Jalter, look at her, look at how EDGY she gets in some of the events and in Shinjuku, how much she steeps herself in pop culture in other places. You know she will look up the most esoteric stuff to see if she vibes with it or not. If she doesn't, no big deal, but if it does she will not stop blasting it. Has absolutely tried to convince Salieri to play piano versions of her favorite songs so that Boudica [who I feel like is more of an instrumental enjoyer?] will listen to them with her. And Salieri will do anything to help her out, bi solidarity REAL

Boudica, like I said, I feel like she would enjoy instrumentals and classical more than other music but also maybe some metal bands, as a treat <3 Salieri is her favorite among the other avengers because he's always up to take requests. No this isn't about him, the brainrot is just that severe.

who is more protective:

My answer for this one in general is usually both, and it's both again here buuuuut from an outsider prospective, Jalter.

Boudica is protective but she was also a queen who led an uprising, so she knows when to hold her tongue and when to tear someone a new one. She isn't the strongest servant and she knows it, but she knows how to manipulate situations when she has to. So other servants or staff taking issue with Jalter will often trip up when speaking to her.

Jalter, meanwhile, is protective in the sense that by the time anyone realizes what they said or did was viewed as harmful to Boudica, their head is on the ground <3 yes Nero HAS been a repeated victim of this, yes she DOES go into spirit form just to avoid them in the halls now. Roman servants in general steer VERY clear from Boudica now because Jalter will be indiscriminate in protecting her.

I think Boudica, whenever my brain is focused on a nice task like, idk kneading bread, making desserts, etc, songs that are playing on the radio or other people are playing get stuck in my head so I just sing the chorus on repeat. So in the shower I feel like she would fall into that a lot. Possibly also nursery rhyme songs because she's another person who helps take care of the child servants.

And ofc sometimes she'll scream along to a deathmetal song and wow Jalter is so in love.

who cries during movies:

Honestlyyyyy Jalter but only animal movies. Yes that will be a relevant answer throughout all of these.

Depends on the shopping! Jalter can spend a fortune shopping for clothes/jewelry/weapons because she, like most avengers, likes to look her best. Also oops Salieri's leaking in again, but going with Sabu's headcanon I imagine he'll wheedle his way into shopping with her because we are NOT having another dress incident do you hear me. These two combined will spend EVEN MORE MONEY.

Meanwhile Boudica will shell out so much money for things like high end ingredients, excellent cookware, a really good horse, and yes also weapons they share weapons as a hobby <3 How many horses does she have? Not enough she needs more.

When Boudica and Jalter go shopping together they will always find a blacksmith [past or present] and they will spend so much money on weaponry you don't even know. Buy each other daggers that are small enough to tuck away but are personalized,,,good shit.

DING DONG IT'S BOTH, it may start with Jalter being the rougher one but as soon as Boudica realizes it's okay to not be perfect and polite with Jalter my god does she go just as hard. Avengers walk into the avenger room and right back out because oops they're kiss fighting again and none of them really feel like hanging around to watch the developing show.

Pinning to walls, furniture, biting, rough [consensual obv] shoving into things in a fight over dominance in the kiss,,,yes. Also kissing in front of Nero [no matter where Nero is] is a power move.

They do usually at least Try to keep it all behind closed doors, mainly because Boudica worries about the child servants finding them, because she can still be MOMTHER and not a PUSHOVER

hi again, court!

it's once again the anon that sent the massive ass paragraphs rambling about the punisher after i finished watching it. i feel like i should either just un-anonymise myself or give myself a name or something to make it easier to identify myself?? but idk?? i'm still new to tumblr so i dunno how these things work

anyways, just wanted to say, i also am just so happy that they are taking the reboot seriously!! i only really got into like the daredevil/punisher in like the past year or so. so i feel like i don't really have the same grounds to stand on as some longer term fans but i just remember being so disappointed with karen/foggy originally not being part of born again so i'm so so glad that that changed and we have the true trio back. and frank being in it just makes me SO happy because i have become incredibly incredibly attached to frank (it might be a little unhealthy but big strong men who are morally questionable is my type haha)

i totally agree with season 2 feeling rushed, it definitely felt like some of the plots were supposed to be fleshed out more or like storylines would have carried on into a season 3 and billy not being fucked up enough is SO FUCKING REAL. like frank literally BRUTALISED him but he comes out looking okay?? like idk?? it just doesn't look convincing i feel like ben barnes' acting is good and he plays the subtle psycho (though you're right, him being more outwardly bloodthirsty and vengeful would have been AMAZING) but the visuals don't hit right. but this is such a wider issue with pretty actors in hollywood?? especially cause they also did it when he played the darkling in shadow and bone. i dunno if you ever watched shadow and bone but like his character should have been way more scarred but they just didn't make it as brutal as it probably would have been in reality and it makes me so mad because i just don't understand why??

AND THE WILL THING, LITERALLY, WHEN HE FIRST CAME ON SCREEN, I LOOKED AT HIM AND WAS LIKE 'is that?? is that WILLIAM LAMONTAGUE??' and then everytime he came on and was being psycho, i was like 'someone get jj to sort her husband out' and also this is so DUMB but i love to think that this is what will was doing during criminal minds and that's why we never see him, he was just off being pilgrim and terrorising frank, obviously it doesn't really work timeline wise BUT the thought of it just makes me laugh so it is now my headcanon.

I HAVE FOUND ANOTHER MADANI LOVER. that makes me so BEYOND ECSTATIC. I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW HAPPY THAT MAKES ME. karen is literally a stronger woman than i could ever be. both with madani and tbh with frank, i dunno how she doesn't crumble in front of either of them. like i wish i had karen's strength. but like yeah if madani even LOOKED at me, i would be spilling all of my goddamn secrets. i'm so glad i'm not the only one who sees the lack of love (i may end up trying to fix that with some fics hehe)! i am such a whore for her, it's actually insane. like the past few days since i finished watching it, she has been on my mind 24/7, what i would let her do to me is EMBARASSING. i love that woman so much and i'm so glad i'm not alone.

Oh oh also! I feel the need to bring this up since I'm getting loads of new followers from my spot/Jonathan x y/n ohnn posts!

Future admin note; TLDR below IS the entire post because it summed up everything I needed/wanted to say better than the initial ramble and I'm too silly to reword it into

Not being a TLDR

TLDR since a lot of it is admin rambling and getting off topic; this is a multi fandom blog that primarily centers around the admins current hyperfixiation (due to how strong the admin experiences brainrot), but defaults to creepypasta content when the admin either

A) doesnt have a particular rot

B) is embarassed of their current rot (I'm cringe and not free)

C) the fandom is very obscure or small

On average a hyperfixiation for the admin can last from a few weeks to a few months, and usually when one dies it can take a long time to reignite if at all. Because of how intense their interests get, it can become incredibly difficult for the admin to write outside of the current fandom.

Basically I just wanna warn you guys that I'm uncertain how long I'll be writing for spot and for how long my hc lists for him will remain decent quality and I want you guys to know ahead of time before the spiderverse rot inevitably dies <\3

It won't be an outright ban on spot writings though!! I'll probably rework my pinned to have two lists; one for main interests and a side for characters I'm comfy writing with

The only real thing that will change is a fluctuation in passion and posting frequency

I will say when my spiderverse fixiation dies I can almost guarantee that it'll be revived when beyond comes out

That's just a fact, whenever a new part to an old interest is released it always comes back

Seen it with the owl house (the finale episodes coming out), seen it with Fran Bow (creators getting REAL active with releasing character stuff and merch recently), Overwatch (I blame ramattra for bringing back that one. Before that the last time I touched OVW was in like. 2016? So literally when the game first came out) and probably a few others

Those are the only two examples I can think of

Admin is autistic (/srs) and bounces around fandoms a lot as interests come and go, said interests sometimes totally consuming their entire brain to the point they cant think/create/interact with anything outside the hyperfixiation, and when a new fixiation comes in the old one dies leaving behind little to no incentive to create for it

Admin really doesnt like how their brain works for this but :(

maybe a human woman accidentally stumbles into a faerie ring or is otherwise guilty of angering the fae, but instead of punishing her the fae who finds her presents her to the fae queen as a gift. suddenly the woman has to follow the fae queen around, either as her newest servant or just her newest trophy, and the fae queen realizes the human has feelings for her and exploits it mercilessly. magically, socially, politically, she has so much control and influence over the human that even if she starts to get feelings for her they mostly manifest as jealousy and possessiveness over the human, and every time the human’s attention wanders just makes the fae queen do something to remind the human why she’s the best queen and lover any human could ever dream of…

I'm just thinking like-- the fae queen forcing the human to be somewhat of a half-spouse half-servant. She's her prized trophy of "conquering the human race." The human doesn't have the dignity and power of fae royalty but receives the luxuries and affection one would; when the queen wants to give it of course. Yet she must bend to the will of her no matter what, despite the fact that the queen favors her above others.

The human will be forced to do the duties of both a maid and courtesan, meaning picking up after the queen, sleeping with her in her chambers, and being forced to dine or serve her when requested. I can just see the queen forcing the human to feed her strawberries and sweets. The queen won't let her new slave adorn anything but the finest silks and satins, even when the human's picking up a glass of wine the fae purposely spilt.

Even though she could have clothes made in a heartbeat, she'll purposely dress the human in her own nightwear. The back of the long nightgown is open to accommodate the fae queens wings, but for her human trophy, it exposes her back in a rather embarassing and sensual manner.

And of course, the queen will dismiss her dressing servants, putting her new prize as the only person to help her dress and disrobe. It's the perfect situation to flaunt and show the human her place. I imagine she ends up getting more cruel as time goes on, treating the human more as a servant and lesser-than the more she realizes the humans feelings or her own. She'll embarrass her more often in front of others, trying to isolate the human from anyone else and denying her own feelings. She'll resort to embarrassment and shame tactics if she sees her human's attention had been pulled away by someone else.

As the queen, shes able to do what she pleases free from criticism. And should the human dare to defy her? Well, there'd be hell to pay. The queen of the fae has no limits to what she can do.
