The jorōgumo’s first instinct was to burst out laughing at her dear’s astonishment— “n-not now, maybe not so suddenly,”— before she simmered down again, the clicking of the chitinous pincers about her face marking a lingering curiosity as she continued making coffee.
“Buuuut, all the same,” she smiled, “I’ve just been wondering how it’d be to spend life with a third of us. Adoption, surrogacy, provisions from a donor... if we ever do go about with it, however that happens, I’m still sure you’ll be a wonderful mother, Pan-chan.”
She turned to face where Pandora had still been standing, bending the joints of her arachnous limbs to lower herself to their height before handing them a steaming mug of joe.
“...but, yeah. Just some food for thought, you know?” Cue a reassuring wink in their direction.
