on the matter of kenshin's

you know something i really would have loved to see?

kenshins having their own personality and ways of interaction

imagine how this could be used for character purposes or even just comedy

shindou crying at some point and maestro pulls a big handkerchief from his big ol' kenshin-sized pocket just to give it to him and shindou first reaction is to get startled by him, but you can see Maestro is genuinely worried and trying to help only for him to immediately turn around, looking at other kenshin like he is saying "which one of you did this to him?" without actually saying any words, just gesturing, and the other kenshin cowering away or even dissipating in fear

or maybe nishiki saying something stupid and musashi bonking the boy's head with the back of his sword, or even giving him a head pat when he does a good job which makes nishiki very happy cus it kinda reminds him of someoka when tenma really wants to train/play he makes that one face with pleading eyes when suddenly pegasus appears by his side making the same kind of face and is so uncanny to see such a big, menacing-looking guy doing that, but it shows how avatar and kenshin are similar in nature. the image of tenma saying the famous "sakka yarouze!" and pegasus suddenly appearing while screaming his signature WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cus he is excited to play

maybe having lancelot refusing to obey tsurugi in one of those moments where he felt conflicted or in doubt, it would serve to show how it can be messy or even dangerous to not be in a good state of mind while trying to use a kenshin

shinsuke tries to reach something that is too high and Titanias summoning himself in the middle of nowhere just to gently pick it up for him and fade away immediately, which could happen anywhere outside of the field, imagine being in a library when someone suddenly invoques their jojo stand just to pic a book from the top shelf like O_O)??

i personally would love it if the kenshin were not able to speak, only able to communicate mentally with their avatars and make sounds such as the scream pegasus does everytime he is summoned, which would obligate them to emote a lot to show their own emotions, especially for kenshin that are more animal-based or have most of their faces covered such as lancelot or maestro.

i really want to draw that, i've been looking for an excuse to draw kenshin for a while and now I kinda have it fuck 〒▽〒

Hey Inazuma Eleven fandom! This might be a bit of a long shot but would anyone want to beta read a fanfic I’m currently working on?

It’s a fantasy pirate AU set in a world I’ve made up. There’s magic and fantasy races — merpeople, selkies and sylphs (sky spirits), as well as regular humans.

I’ll be using using the OG and GO characters (not Ares/Orion or VROH). The main ships are established, married Tatsumido/Hiromido and angst-ridden TakuRan (ngl TakuRan might not get a happy ending), with some background established Endou x Natsumi which doesn’t really factor into the story. I might also include background Fudou x Kazemaru but that isn’t decided yet. I’m very easygoing with ships and can write basically anything.

The fic is split between three main stories — Kariya, the Inazuma Pirates, and Shindou. All three plotlines interweave into one another and will eventually come together:

Kariya is a lonely boy who lives on the furthest outskirts of the town of Shaleworth. The son of a fisherman, his neglectful father up and left one night, never to be seen again. Ever since, Kariya has been alone, carving out a career for himself as a fisherman at the age of 14. By now, he’s accepted his fate. He’s used to it. He doesn’t care if people pity him or think he’s a nuisance. One day though, he has a chance encounter with two wayward pirates, Tatsuya and Midorikawa, who have lost their ship and their crew. The pirates start using Kariya’s home as a hideaway until they can regain enough strength and resources to return to their ship. Kariya ends up realising he doesn’t want them to leave, meanwhile Tatsuya and Midorikawa realise that this lonely boy doesn’t have to be so alone forever. Family bonding shenanigans ensue.

The crew of the Inazuma, led by captain Endou Mamoru, are among the most feared and respected pirates on the seven seas. Due to the mysterious and powerful Hand of God, wielded only by the strongest pirate on the ocean, the Inazuma Pirates have garnered a high reputation even among the navy and port governors. After losing two of their crew mates, Tatsuya and Midorikawa, during a storm, they’re desperately trying to find them. Captain Endou has faith that they aren’t dead. Members of the crew such as the young gunner Kirino Ranmaru, however, are less confident, especially because if Tatsuya and Midorikawa are still alive, they would have run ashore in one of the most anti-pirate areas of the whole archipelago — Shaleworth.

Shindou, a baron’s son, hates pirates with every ounce of his being. Four years before the present, pirates attacked his hometown and kidnapped his personal servant and best friend, Kirino, thinking Kirino was actually the baron’s son. It was later revealed that a different pirate crew, the Inazuma Pirates, had pillaged and destroyed the trafficking den where Kirino would have been taken. There were no survivors. Shindou now swears revenge for the ‘death’ of his best friend. Having been sent to the town of Shaleworth to study under Governor Kudou, he makes it his mission to capture and execute any pirates who come through the nearby waters. Even his new personal servant, Ibuki Munemasa, thinks he’s going a bit too far. But Shindou sees it as justified. If he can’t have his best friend back, then what’s the point in being merciful? (Little does he know that Kirino is very much still alive)

If anyone is interested, please let me know, either by replying to this post or dming me! I haven’t written much more than the first chapter yet but the chapters are quite long, in the range of 4000-5000 words per chapter. Chapter 1 is fully written already. I write pretty quickly too, so expect new chapters every week/two weeks.

I decided to take a crack at designing the Maelibus of Iego, the planetary and subterranean counterpart of the Diathim.Whereas the Diathim are known as Angels, the Maelibus are known as the Demons.

When The Clone Wars animated series redesigned the diathim, they made thema ngelic with a quasi-insectoid look... and I wanted to do the same, make my maelibus demonic with a quasi-insectoid look.

I made their exoskeleton molten gold, as described in the original book thatdescribed them, and gave them the haunting beauty that they are described as having, that their illustration completely failed to conveying any way. I preserved as many details from their illustration as I could, including some of the banding on their exoskeleton.

I heavily references gigers xenomorph with this image... and I think that I captured wghat a TCW maelibus would look rather well. I imagine he is voiced by anakins voice actor, much how the angel in TCW was voiced by

Iego is separated into two main biome-regions--Luxayang (the lightlands) and Noktayin (the darklands)--that take up equal space on the planet. Luxayang is made up of lush jungles and sandstone cliffs, rich in flora and fauna of all kinds, whereas Noktayin is made up of barren canyons and basalt spires. If it wasn't obvious enough, both regions correspond to areas rich in the Light and Dark sides of the Force, respectively.

As there are no fields large enough for farming--there's a bit of terrace farming on mountainsides, but that's it--the people who reside in the Luxayang region partially sustain themselves with the ample fruits and vegetables available. As the planet experiences no real cycle of seasons, plants grow and produce year-round, offering a very stable and reliable food source. In Meru especially, there are seemingly boundless berry bushes and fruit trees growing in the village. Drawing from the Force properties of the area, all edible plants have great medicinal value, too, and are widely used in both Iegoan cuisine and traditional medicine.

As for the hydrosphere, well... Iego has no oceans, nor any real bodies of water on the surface of the planet. The only source of water on the surface of the planet are the Sacred Falls and the Pools of Lustration of Mount Horai, in the heart of the village of Meru. Both places are featured heavily in the native religion of Drolism, regarded as the holy grounds of the Gods, flowing with the ichor of the planet that in myth is regarded as an elixir of immortality. Traditionally, the people of Meru would rely on collected rainwater to sustain themselves, leaving the sacred waters untouched, save for specific religious ceremonies and rituals. As the water is purported to have life-sustaining properties, it is used in ritual healing by the triyi, and has been shown to be effective.
