okay i think i got like the best first gig ever bc i got like $80 for 4-ish hours of work

#im uh. supposed to be paid $15 an hour. but my boss is filthy rich and keeps throwing in a little extra each time she pays us #we aren't dealing with taxes or anything bc she's just hiring us outside of a business so she just pays us at the end of each work day #and like. i would feel kinda bad about her throwing an extra $20 in but she's very rich so i dont feel bad about it #im gonna save most of this for the cali trip but im gonna set aside a little bit for some spikes for my jacket i think #and a thrift store run. but ive already got some money saved back from last time i worked #anyways. im gonna go take a shower and start working on planning out a bus route for the thrift store run #also maybe a record store run. or maybe i can just go downtown and explore.#im gonna go out while my mom's at work so she doesn't know bc i dont wanna deal with having to make sure all my plans work for her schedule #oh!! also!! after one more day of work im gonna have enough to get my bike tuned up!!#im excited as hell :D #oh shit. also apparently my mom set up a vet appointment for kitkat so i gotta go with them to make sure everything's chill #im busier than ive been in a long time but i actually really like it. i missed having something to do

HOLY SHIT OK. So i know I did this to myself but Fobo was ROUGH to draw. Everyone gave me some trouble.

Foolish: - Great White Shark but gold - Foolish is always hard for me to draw cause everyone draws him differently. I decided to base him more off of the more human designs/ cc!Foolish for this to break up the yellow from the tail. - I didn't want to make him straight up metallic, so I gave him a goldish color

Tubbo: - Swordfish - Did you know that swordfish and marlins look very similar? Well they do, so i had to make sure that I was giving him a swordfish tail and not a marlin tail. (I redrew it so much) - I gave him a different shaped sail cause one big difference between swordfish and marlins are their dorsal fin. The tails are pretty similar, but the dorsal fin is different. (pic for ref further down) - The scars are from when he got caught in the ship rudder causing him to end up at Chume Labs ----------------------------------------- Marlin dorsal fin V Swordfish dorsal fin V

Sunny: - Fantail goldfish (I got more specific than just 'goldfish' cause i wanted to >:) ) - Flowy ruffled shirt with a cut out in the back for her sail. - This Sunny looks a lot different from my normal Sunny, but I like them a lot. - by far the easiest of Fobo Leo: - Purple Lionfish - Sail is like the spines of a lionfish but with webbing between the spines - Ears inspired by lionfish pectoral fin - The fin gave me so much grief... I wanted to have it face forward and not sideways, but I could not for the life of me get it to face forward and look good, so I gave up. - Red t-shirt with white collar. I didn't draw it here, but I imagine it also has a little white hood that has the Walter dog on it, but it might get in the way of her sail, so unsure. Also has a hole cut in the back for her sail like Sunny's

I know I haven't mentioned it in a while (because I worry about being too annoying lol), but I've been continually laboring over my extensive post canon fic. The working title is now Clear Horizons, so I don't have to keep calling it The Fic™. I won't post it until it's entirely finished because that's what suits my writing process, but I've been pouring a lot of passion into it for months now and I want a way to share some of that. I want to give you guys a look at what I have in the works in whatever way you'd find interesting.

I've thought about updates describing my progress or posting snippets from a handful of sections. Of course I'm always open to questions about it. I also really like the ask game kind of thing where people can send in a word and I post a sentence of my wip that has the word. Idk. Thoughts? Opinions?

And I recorded a little draft! Now listen. I'm really bad at singing. My mic was being annoying. However, I always get frustrated when I can't tell how translyrics are supposed to sound, and wanted to put it all together. It's meant more as rhythm reference than a nice performance 😅

The amazing d+d campaign of the last 2 semesters is over, I feel like all our characters got the endings they wanted, I'm really really going to miss the DM and I told the other players I'll DM a campaign next semester we'll see who actually joins, and, and, and, and, well, I'm going to keep in touch with the um player who was um playing the character who um my character ended up together with um.

#I hope I'm not getting fantasy mixed up with reality too muhc here but um. he was like 'he kisses her' and i #sorry did we just spend 3 months actually for real flirting in front of our friends. I thought we were just really good at acting #I mean our characters are both really unrealistic I don't think we're getting things mixed up too bad #we'll see I guess. Our characters' story is over and now we have plenty of time to just be ourselves. So we'll see won't we #there's a post a while back where I said 'he's gay and im lesbian I'm 70% sure this won't get weird' but I think we're both nb and bi so #here I am in the 30% timeline. Isn't life exciting :3 #wait I just realized this post makes it sound like I'm imagining this.
