Staff San seems like an open book compared to Security-san. But do they have any hidden secrets or talents?

Yes! They both do! Both secrets and talent-wise but you can have there talents for now uwu Security-san has actually been doing Krav Maga since he was a teen (this is where all his muscle comes from). He was initially put into by his parents for self-defense as he was getting bullied in school, but he ended up really liking it and continued on with it ever since. He managed to get his black belt in it and still loves training as his form of hobby/work-out routine with the addition of it being a good stress reliever.

Staff-san is a very avid gamer (more so consoles than PC). She especially loves PvP games like Smash Bros, Guilty Gear, Mario Kart, etc. She's done a few local compeitions but never anything in the big leagues. She is definitely better than the average player and loves kicking her friends' asses, but is willing to tone it down after completely demolishing you the first few times.

She wakes up on her bed and frowns,because she was pretty sure she didn’t walk out of the car…she hears his voice downstairs, alongside another, as the kids mumbling join them. She sits up slowly,rubbing her eyes as she tries to wrap her head on what happened.

Was that Mav’s voice downstairs?

As Beatrice's mind gradually cleared from the fog of sleep, she strained to make sense of the situation. She could distinctly hear Rooster's voice downstairs, along with another familiar voice that she was almost certain belonged to Mav.

Confusion gnawed at Beatrice's insides as she swung her legs off the bed, her bare feet padding softly against the cool wooden floor as she made her way to the door. She paused for a moment, taking a deep breath to wake herself before venturing downstairs.

Beatrice descended the staircase, the voices grew louder, their tones filled with warmth. She could hear snippets of conversation interspersed with the sound of laughter, and the distinct giggles of her children as they joined in the chatter.

Her brow furrowed in bewilderment as she reached the bottom of the stairs, her gaze scanning the room for any clues that might explain what was happening. She found Rooster and Mav seated at the kitchen table, engaged in an animated conversation over steaming mugs of coffee.

"Hey, sleepyhead," Rooster greeted with a grin as he caught sight of Beatrice, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're up early."

Beatrice rubbed her eyes once more, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep as she approached the table. "What's going on?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion. "Hi Mav.”

Mav looked up from his coffee, “Mornin’" he exclaimed with a grin, his voice filled with excitement. "I thought I'd drop by and say hello. Plus, I missed these little rascals," he added, nodding towards the kids who were eagerly tugging at his sleeves.

“Oh.” She glanced at Rooster, then yawns again, ‘Did you just get here?”

Rooster nodded, his gaze softeningas he looked at Beatrice. "Yeah, Mav just arrived a little while ago," he replied, reaching out to squeeze her hand in reassurance. "We were just catching up over coffee."

Beatrice smiled, the fog of sleep slowly dissipating as she settled into the warmth of their presence. She joined Rooster and Mav at the table, pouring herself a cup of coffee before taking a seat beside them.

"So, what have you been up to, Mav?It's been a while since we've seen you."

Mav chuckled, taking a sip of his coffee before replying. "Oh, you know, same old," he replied with a shrug, his tone casual. "Just been busy with work and stuff." he sighs. “Figuring stuff back at the base.”

There was a shift in his tone and Beatrice blinks. “...retirement?”

Mav's expression softened at Beatrice's question, a hint of sadness flickering in his eyes. "Yeah, something like that," he admitted, "It won’t happen until…you know,a while." he looks back at Rooster who didn’t look happy to hear that, “But, until then, you won’t get rid of me Rooster.”

Rooster's lips twitched into a small smile at Mav's words, though his eyes betrayed a hint of concern. "I wouldn't have it any other way," he replied, his tone warm yet tinged with uncertainty. "But retirement, huh? That's a big step."

Mav nodded, his gaze distant as he contemplated his future. "Yeah, it is," he agreed, his voice tinged with nostalgia. "But it's time for a change, you know? Time to hang up the uniform and move on to the next chapter."

“Which is?”

“Being a good grandpa,maybe.” he tells Rooster, “Be here for you guys more.”

Rooster still…didn’t like the idea of Mav retiring, it did scare him a lot. He’d go to the base and not see his uncle there and he…wouldn’t know. He had no issues with it back then, but that was his idea of not talking to Mav. Now,well, now he wanted his uncle close.

Rooster's throat tightened at the thought of Mav retiring, a pang of sadness gripping his heart. "Yeah, being a grandpa sounds pretty good," Rooster replied, forcing a smile despite the turmoil brewing inside him. "You already are an amazing grandpa, Mav."

Mav grinned at Rooster's words, his eyes crinkling at the corners with genuine warmth. "Thanks, Rooster," he said sincerely, his voice filled with gratitude. "I hope I can live up to your expectations."

Beatrice watched the interaction between Rooster and Mav, sensing the underlying tension in Rooster's demeanor. She reached out, placing a comforting hand on Rooster's arm, her touch light and hidden under the table

“Are you going to Rooster’s promotion ceremony,Mav?” she knew the answer would be yes, but she wanted to make her husband feel at ease. Nicole and the twins were busy watching tv with the dogs close by and she knew they wouldn’t come over for a while.

"Of course I am," he replied, eyes shining with pride "Wouldn't miss it for the world. It's a big day for Rooster, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

Rooster's shoulders relaxed slightly at Mav's reassurance, a sense of relief washing over him. "Thanks, Mav," he said gratefully, his voice tinged with emotion. "It means a lot to have you there."

Mav nodded, his expression serious as he met Rooster's gaze. "Always, Rooster," he replied solemnly, his voice filled with conviction. "You're family, and family sticks together, no matter what."

Rooster's eyes glistened at Mav's words, his heart swelling with gratitude for “Damn right.” he chuckles, “I know you hate those ceremonies,but–”

Mav waved a dismissive hand, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Eh, ceremonies aren't really my thing," he admitted with a chuckle. "But I'll endure it for you, Rooster. After all, it's not every day my nephew gets promoted to such a high rank." he pauses, “...again that is.”

Rooster grinned, the tension easing from his shoulders at Mav's response. "Thanks, Mav," he said sincerely, his voice filled with appreciation. "I promise to make it quick and painless."

Mav raised an eyebrow in mock disbelief. "I'll believe it when I see it," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes. "But seriously, Rooster, I'm proud of you. You've worked hard to get to where you are, and this promotion is well-deserved."

Rooster's chest swelled with pride at Mav's words, his eyes shining with gratitude. "Thanks, Mav," he replied, his voice thick with emotion. "I–That means a lot coming from you."

Beatrice smiled at the heartfelt exchange between Rooster and Mav, feeling a surge of warmth in her heart. She knew how much Rooster valued Mav's opinion and approval, and she was grateful to see them share such a close bond.

"Well, enough about me," Mav said, changing the subject with a casual wave of his hand. "How have you been, Bea? How's work? How are the kids?"

Beatrice's smile widened,"We've been good," she replied, her voice bright with enthusiasm. "Work's been busy, but nothing I can't handle. And the kids are doing great. Nicole is being Nicole, and the twins are keeping us on our toes as usual."

"Sounds like you've got your hands full," he remarked, a hint of admiration in his tone. "But knowing you, you're handling it like a pro."

Beatrice blushed at Mav's praise, feeling a swell of pride in her chest. "Thanks, Mav," she said modestly, her voice tinged with gratitude. "But I couldn't do it without Rooster's help. He's an amazing father."

"And you're an amazing mother," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth. "We make a great team, Bea."

Mav's gaze softened as he watched the tender exchange between Rooster and Beatrice, a sense of warmth spreading through him. He knew how much they meant to each other, and he was grateful to see them so happy and in love.

“Well you could’ve been but you refused,Mav.” Rooster chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah, being an admiral is not really my thing," he replied with a grin. "I'm happy where I am.”

Mav nodded in understanding, "Fair enough," he conceded with a shrug. "As long as you're happy and fulfilled in your career, that's all that matters."

"Exactly," he agreed,. "And besides, being a lieutenant commander gives me the opportunity to focus on what really matters: my family."

Beatrice's heart swelled with love at Rooster's words, her eyes shining with affection as she met his gaze, leaning on her hand. "You are too sweet.," she murmured, her voice filled with gratitude.

Rooster's smile widened at Beatrice's praise, his heart fluttering with warmth. "And you're my everything, gorgeous," he replied, kissing her forehead. "I couldn't ask for a better partner in life."

“Don’t mention it.”

He smiles, then turns back to Mav, “I have no speech for it.”

“Hm?”

“I have no speech for the ceremony.”

Mav lowers the mug and flicks his brow up, “Really? Well, you know, you don't have to have a prepared speech. Just speak from the heart, Rooster. That's all anyone can ask for."

Rooster nodded,"I just want to make sure I do justice to the occasion, you know? It's a big moment for me." he blinks “Huge,really.”

"It is," Mav agreed, his expression serious. "But remember, Rooster, you've worked hard to get to where you are. You deserve this promotion, and I have no doubt that you'll do great things in your new role."

“I know.”

Mav smiled, reaching out to clap a hand on Rooster's shoulder. "You’ll be fine Brad, really."

“...I…”he clears his throat, “I wanna make my parents proud,Mav.”

Mav's expression softened at Rooster's admission, his heart going out to his nephew. He knew how much Rooster's parents meant to him, and he could only imagine the pride they would feel if they were here to witness his promotion.

"They already are, Rooster," Mav reassured him, his voice gentle. "You've accomplished so much already, and this promotion is just another proof to your hard work and dedication."

Rooster nodded, a lump forming in his throat at the mention of his parents. He missed them every day, their absence a constant ache in his heart. "I hope so, Mav," he replied softly, his voice tinged with emotion. "I just…wish they were here to see it."

"I know, buddy," he murmured, his own heart heavy with sadness. "But I have no doubt that they're looking down on you with pride, just like I am."

Rooster's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he met Mav's gaze, sniffling, then wiping his eyes. "Thanks, Mav," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "That means a lot to me."

Mav nodded, his own eyes misting over with emotion. "Anytime, Brad," he replied, his voice thick with unshed tears. "You're family, and family always has each other's backs."

Meanwhile, Beatrice watched the exchange between Rooster and Mav with a tender smile, her heart swelling with love for both of them. She admired the bond they shared, the way they leaned on each other for support in times of need.

"You guys are amazing," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rooster glanced over at Beatrice, his eyes softening with affection. "So are you, gorgeous,"

“Pft, don’t make this about me!” she laughs softly, feeling her phone vibrate on her thigh, “Come on, now.”

As Beatrice glanced down at her buzzing phone, her heart skipped a beat when she saw the name "Evelyn" flashing on the screen. She quickly excused herself from the table, stepping away to answer the call in private.

"Hey, Ev," she greeted warmly, "What's up?"

Evelyn's voice came through the line, her tone urgent yet hushed. "Bea, I need to talk to you," she said quickly, her words tumbling out in a rush. "Can you meet me at the café downtown? It's important."

Beatrice's brow furrowed in concern at Evelyn's tone, her mind racing with worry. "Of course, Ev," she replied, her voice soothing. "I'll be there as soon as I can…Is everything okay?"

Evelyn hesitated for a moment before responding, her voice tense with apprehension. "I'll explain when you get here," she said cryptically, her tone filled with urgency. "Just... hurry."

With a sinking feeling in her chest, Beatrice ended the call and turned back to Rooster and Mav, her expression troubled. "I'm sorry, guys," she said softly, her voice tinged with worry. "I have to go meet Evelyn. She sounded really upset."

Rooster's brow furrowed in concern as he watched Beatrice's reaction, his heart clenching with worry. "Is everything okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

Beatrice shook her head, her mind racing with concern for her friend. "I don't know," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "But I need to find out."

Hmmm, I'm proud of all my Eunbi fics. I'm a very suppressed kind of person if you know what I mean, and writing them relieves my stress. But if I had to pick one that was the most satisfying to write, I'd go with In Absentia Lucis, Tenebrae Vincunt and Mission Accomplished. As for memorable: Birthday Blues UwU

Fic in general that I'm proud about is tonight doesn't count, (i promise). It received such good praise that I looked to develop my style more. Hopefully I find a better style that suits me <3

I know Nintendo doesn't really exist in your AU, but IF it did, and all of your characters played Nintendo games, what would they play?

Hmmmm...

Larry, if he didn't already play Fortnite and Roblox, probably would be a Mario fanboy. And every once in a while, he sees him or one of his siblings in the game and is like, "Guys!! Look!! It's us!!" But nobody believes him or ever comes to look because he's annoying and stupid.

Ludwig & Spewart are Animal Crossing buddies. I can see them keeping each other updated on everything that happens in their towns. Ludwig plays every day, is BFFs with everybody, and has achieved town perfection status. Spewart only plays like once a week and has given up with weeds and getting his character's hair fixed every time he comes back from a break. They both get very upset when villagers move out suddenly.

Rango is canonically good at Tetris in my AU. (Since Tetris doesn't really have any characters in it, and is THE BEST GAME EVER, it's still allowed to exist in my AU) And I am confident that Rango could still kick your ass in the game, even with only one hand.

Lemmy would play Kirby. Not for the cute and colorful uwu characters and whatnot. For the LORE.

Morton probably tried Wii Fit + at some point. Got hit with the "🎶That's obese🎶" and quit instantly, in tears.

I can see Topper being a Metroid fan...

Wendy would probably try playing Punch Out to "relieve stress" one day, and get stuck to "mildly violent games" ever since. Like Splatoon.

Iggy: Nintendogs. 'Nuff said.

Jr is totally into Pac-Man. The classics. Only plays that original arcade game and is SUPER good at it.

If Hariet got into something, I guess it'd be Pikmin?

I feel like Roy might be into the Legend of Zelda games, maybe?

Peasley & Motley might attempt to "race" by playing F-Zero and Star-Fox at the same time and see who can finish whatever level first.

Maybe Nabbit would be into Pokémon? She would try to collect very specific ones that she thinks look cute or pretty. And the second that they evolve into something she doesn't like, she sells them.

Little Casey for Time Difference uwu

Casey JR have a rol in the future timeline and in the present

I think my vision for the character is pretty /fanon accepted/ like he is basically family for the Hamato's, they are his teachers and beloveds uncles and with Raph being more of /the father/ of this child until he died.

My reason of Raph being the honorary father of Casey is cuz I ship him with Cass and they have a relationship in the AU-

Cassandra and Raph die together in the same event I called "Leo being reckless and falling into a Krang trap" where he have to grow up and take full reponsability of the Rebelion cuz Raph was the one in charge like 60% of the time and Leo was still kinda inmature and take not so good decisions.

At this point the Krang Invasion has been going on for about 5 years, Usagi has been with them for like 2 years and have a really good relationship with toddler Casey. Usagi loves him cuz he likes kids in general, but he is also likes him because he can't be with his own son Jotaro like he wants to...

When Raph and Cass die, Casey was 4 years old, he knew about the death, but this was so personal and so shocking to him, he just stopped talking… the kid was grieving like the adults and no one could make him talk.

Usagi helps Casey with his grieving proceses by making an altar for the dead, he and Leo talk to him even if he don't respond...

The altar helps everyone, even Leo who try to push this own grief to be the leader people needs him to be and with that him and Usagi become more close.

Casey goes no verbal for months, Donatello have teach him sign language just to express his needs like food, play or sleep but in that time Casey just use signs for really basic things.

But one day Jotaro came from Usagi's dimension and the turtles with Usagi let him stay...

Jotaro was there because he wanted to be with his father, Jotaro couldn't just let him go off to a war somewhere else without knowing he's his father, but also Jotaro just didn't say it at first because he's also scared he'd be rejected for it.

(Mariko let his son go just for a little time)

With Jotaro there Casey now have more company, they share a room and they train together... Jotaro is not aware of Casey's lost but he tries to be his friend and work.

Casey still don't talk but with Jotaro's personality the boy stared to be more open again until the first aniversary of his parents dead. Casey was obviously sad, but he couldn't cry. He couldn't cry the day his parents died and he couldn't cry that day until Jotaro hug him in front of the memorial...

Something in his body just move and he cries... Casey miss his mom and miss his dad and Jotaro was there, holding him.

When Usagi and they saw that they felt so relieved, Casey just needed time, patience and a friend…

At the end Casey spoke again, they were all having breakfast and he asked Leo a candy because he had seen him eat one the night before-

The Hamatos basically threw a party when that happened, they gave Casey a lot of love and little by little he started talking to them more often.

Casey continues to use signs when he is very stressed or when he doesn't feel like talking-

In the end Casey and Jotaro grew up together, Usagi say they are his children in private and Leo feels the same jsj

But even if Leo and Usagi say that Jotaro and Casey are their children- the children don't see eachother as siblings in anyway (?

When they are reaching adolescence they realize that they have started to have feelings for each other- romantic feelings and they are quite conficted by the relationship their parents have-

They are aware of the relationship that is expected of them and it is basically:

X: The sons of the leader Leonardo!! Casey and Jotaro: Kinda- yes (? X: They are brothers! Casey and Jotaro: oh no--

After all the drama with Leo and Usagi separating, consequently Jotaro also leaves and everything that happens in the movie happens

Casey and Jotaro end up separated for almost two years until magical things (Mikey) meet again and start a more "formal" relationship.

late night ramblings

i may start pacing myself a little more the deeper i get into this blog

i've just gotten started with it and i don't want to give up on it so easily, but i'm also a Huge hobby artist and wind up with a ton of unrelated ideas i want to draw (ocs, fanart, i even run an art tiktok where i post animatics every now n then, that kinda stuff lol) so from time to time both asks and plot posts will be spaced out simply because i want to focus on something else for the time being

while i was working on the last plot post, especially with it being longer than i anticipated i started to realize that i was getting stressed the more time i took on it, thinking “oh god i need to finish this or they won't have any new content to look at” and i kept feeling the need to reassure everyone over and over that i am working on it, and that's Not a good feeling. i have to remind myself that this blog is Also part of the hobby and i don't have a definitive deadline for anything, so i only ask that this community have patience with me when i decide to focus on other things so as to not burn myself out here. everyone i’ve interacted with so far has been so so lovely and i've really enjoyed it here but man i sometimes get that irrational fear of people either unfollowing or hounding me to update when i decide to take my time lmao;;

i am having a lot of fun with this blog, genuinely, and i don't plan on abandoning it any time soon like i did with all of my old ask blogs so many years ago, im just taking baby steps for myself and ensuring that i don't overwork myself and wind up hating it lol. i really want to see this story through hopefully to the end, but in order to do that i have to work at a pace that i am able to handle. and for anyone who is willing to be patient with me (which i'm sure most everyone is) thanks, it relieves a lot of the stress and feeling of obligation to rush and finish everything all at once djndjnd

if anyone took the time to read this then ty, these thoughts have been on the back of my mind for a while so i thought it best to get them out and let everyone know how im going abt handling this blog from now on uwu

ok this might sound bad...so i imagine they're at a work function. jihyo comes up to him bc she's had her eye on him for a while now but hasn't had a chance to talk to him much bc what would he have to talk to the receptionist about. anyway! they get to talking, she's v straightforward and says she's interested in him/attracted to him. he's in his I Am Numb I Can't Feel The Pain era so he's like ok what the hell. they boink and start a fwb thing. it's a good stress reliever so jk is just like ok whatever. it lasts for a few months until she catches feelings for him, starts asking for smth more and he ends it (which might have coincided with when he knew he had to see oc again to do jin's album). i don't think it's as bad as it might sound tho, him breaking off their fwb thing. they have to see each other all the time when he goes to work so he tries to let her down easy and is overall v decent about it

hide really loves anything made with horse meat; where they're from there's a festival held once a year during which a horse is slaughtered and served raw. like horse sushi. hide loved that shit. in general hide appreciates their meat raw and straight from the creature (GIVE IT TO THEM RAW AND WRIGGLING) and they'll just straight up eat a mouse whole, but in terms of food that is an actual constructed meal they love a good stew, esp when noodles are involved. dumplings are also great.

☕️ HOT BEVERAGE — does your oc prefer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, water, or some other drink? how do they like to take this drink (ex. coffee with milk, hot chocolate with whipped cream, a specific kind of tea, etc)?

hide generally sticks to water; a lot of human/human-adjacent drinks like certain teas can make them really sick because of kitty cat dietary restrictions so if it's not being prepared by another tabaxi they generally play it safe. that said, where they're from milk is drank a lot so they actually have a much higher tolerance for milk products than a lot of other tabaxi. their fav alcoholic drink is airag ^_^ comfort drink fr fr

hide is currently working as a bodyguard, but they'll do a variety of jobs that take advantage of their skills (fightin') as long as the main goal isn't to hurt anyone. they used to want to be a knight but got discouraged by the Horrors of War and now don't really know what they're doing. they mostly just want to find a path in life that feels relatively stable!!

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?

hide has a lot of cat mannerisms. for example they are prone to physical touch more than your average humanoid is, they'll purr if they're happy, they slow-blink, head butt, etc. in terms of behaviours outside of your average kitty-cat mannerisms what's really coming to mind is that they run their hands through their fur a lot; keeping their fur neat helps keep them grounded so running their fingers through their fur, esp when stressed, is a common unconscious movement for them. esp the big mane of fur around the back of their head and neck.

🤓 SMILING FACE WITH GLASSES — is your oc chatty or quiet? are they at ease in social situations, or are they more shy?

hide should be chatty, although sometimes when i'm the one playing them i feel like i drop the ball on that a bit since i am very shy lmao. hide is very extroverted, they like meeting new people and don't really experience social anxiety at all!!! couldn't be me

😥 SAD BUT RELIEVED FACE — is your oc prone to getting stressed out, or is it easy for them to keep their cool?

i wouldn't say hide is totally chill but i also wouldn't say they're really prone to getting stressed out, but they probably become more easily stressed over stuff than is probably necessary. esp when compounding elements make it feel like they're losing control over the situation

i would describe hide as reasonably open-minded! part of what interests them about people is understanding their different perspectives; they try not to go into any interaction with strong assumptions about them (although the wealthier the person the more likely hide is to slip into negative assumptions lmao). that said hide has some beliefs that they're not willing to compromise on. dont we all tho

HOLD CAME IN ahh i’m very very excited for this one! - Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young 100%! 3🌟 You know what. It was pretty decent. It went places i wasn’t prepared for, but it left us with a tiny teaser of something that maybe, one day, mayhaps, might be A Thing. Or not. That’s fine too. UwU♡ ✔✔✔✔

Other things - Daily Diarrhea Diary - Okish. CPAP timer - ?.? hours with ?.0?disturbances. ???/9. CPAP so confused. i took the mask off last night and read the 4.8 on the screen. i know i did. This morning? There it sits, a big fat 0. i’m very confused. It’s very confused. But! It’s got night before last’s numbers at 4.7 0.2 so... ??? idk. i’m sure this will continue. i’ve got it written down and i am going to take it with me to my appointment tomorrow. So yea.

In other news! We learned so many things today. First and foremost - we cannot be removed from this apartment unless we suddenly commit a felony, start doing/dealing drugs, or other such chaos. That’s it. Once you’re in, you’re in. Whew. Secondly, Sir’s income, because He hasn’t worked for at least a year before this, will not count against rent (aka increase rent) for the first year He works, then the second year it will count halfsies, and the third year it will count fully. That’s... wild. And amazing. Thirdly, as to His Medicaid - Medicaid counts us each as single families, because we are not married, so He would lose Medicaid. But because of The Bad C currently still going on, Medicaid is not removing people. At all. Period. So He will not lose Medicaid until things change. Then it’s ACA and you get what you pay for, so, find the good stuff, and pay good for it. So all of that to say - 40 hours a week is a go. We are already planning on money uses and expenditures and Fixing The Car and Building Battle Stations and Donating Money To Places and other stuff. It’s... wild. It’s amazing. This is the most income we’ve literally ever fucking had. Whew.

Also had my Therapist appointment today, she’s so thrilled for us. But bless her, her poor shitting-the-bed computer just would not acknowledge her camera or her microphone. At all. Period. Thankfully someone in corporate or somewhere apparently got fed up with constantly getting called about The Computers Are Fuckin’ Dying Again WTF Fix It and new computers are being built to arrive Soon™️ so that’s fantastic. So essentially, we sat in Zoom, with me on cam, but us talking on the phone. It was hilarious. It was a great appointment overall.

Anyways. No perioding. Oof my head Hurts, mild abdominal pain, both ears ache, back aches, joints all just kinda ache, lungs kinda grungy. Mood was overall pretty decent, after the stress was relieved, and sobbing about kittens getting adopted, but i’m very tired so. Ya know, SSDD.

kicking depression’s ass tbh I actually showered & brushed my teeth this morning 💪💪💪

#idk I’ve been neglecting really really basic hygiene for. a really really long time now #like rarely changing my clothes; never brushing my teeth; rarely brushing my hair; forgetting deodorant most days #only showering when I absolutely have to & usually just to relieve stress rather than actually clean myself #and idk it’s difficult to vent about it because even with people being like uwu remove the stigma around mental illness uwu #It still feels really gross and it still feels like. Oh. I can’t do these very basic things that most people can.#And most people- even people who say they don’t stigmatize mental illness- will judge you for not showering #But how am I ever supposed to care about my teeth or my hair or my body odor when I can barely care about being alive? It’s stressful #Anyways I have a dentist appointment & physical exam at the pediatrician coming up soon #So if I don’t get around to taking care of my hygiene I’m gonna get in major trouble with my mom again #Because again she cares more about if I smell good than if I want to be alive #anyways. Trying to get back into a habit of brushing my teeth twice a day & showering every day & using deodorant & wearing clean underwear #And all that really basic stuff that most people do without thinking or making a big deal out of it #(I’m also thinking about switching to a men’s brand of deodorant since that might help. Like maybe I’ll actually remember it if *#* it can be something that brings me gender euphoria? Idk)#& I know getting back into these habits is gonna make me feel better & if I feel better then it’ll be easier to maintain these habits etc #Anyways so that’s my little rant for the day how are y’all doing #vent tw #ask to tag

he has always been impressed by your independence and ability to take care of yourself

he's a busy man and as much as he would like to have the time to take care of you more, sadly his work doesn't allow it

although he admires your ability to hold your own, he sometimes worries that you don't truly feel free about expressing your emotions but he's not quite sure about breaching the topic with you yet

fukuzawa used to be apprehensive about you working with him in the ADA but you were just amazing at talking and negotiating with clients that he found your services valuable in the end

a lot of the ADA members look up to you and ask you for help sometimes so you have that reputation

but because of that, you would often pressure yourself to keep up such appearances because you're scared of letting your partner and the other ADA members down

it just so happened that you were having an extremely stressful work day since most of the ADA members were on a mission and you had to take on a lot of clients

one in particular was giving you a hard time and challenging your expertise, asking repeatedly to talk to fukuzawa even though he was out

you were in desperate need of a breather afterwards so you locked yourself in the supply closet out of fear of anyone seeing you cry

the agency office was basically empty at the end of the day but fukuzawa actually came back to fetch something from his office and he couldn't mistake the sounds of you crying in the supply closet

you practically jumped when he opened the door and fukuzawa was just as surprised as you are

the two of you were staring at each other for a bit before he asks "wouldn't you rather stay in my office?"

he knows you don't quite want to talk about things yet so he'll clear the couch in the room for you, set a box of tissues on the coffee table, and busy himself with making tea

and then when you start talking and apologizing about crying in the supply closet he's honestly surprised

fukuzawa would definitely be sweet and reassuring with you and say that even though he's amazed by your independence he doesn't want you to force yourself to be that all the time

"i know that the ADA work is very stressful so feel free to use my office to take a breather anytime"

during work, he sometimes takes the time to check in on you and even makes you coffee in the morning and afternoon

one of the things mori always loved about you was your independence and ability to stand up for yourself. you were rarely shaken by other people

he was always impressed watching you handle things by yourself whenever the two of you were dealing with other organization heads in yokohama

you did know what you were getting into when you got into a relationship with the boss of the port mafia so you didn't want to be someone who'd weigh him down

and that's why you also tried to be useful with mori's work

whenever you had a meeting or an event to attend, you'd have to go to the bathroom to take time and collect yourself before engaging with people

mori prides himself at being good at reading people's feelings and he definitely notices this from you

he's not the type to push things unless you initiate them. but sometimes he finds time to usher you away so you have time to breathe

whenever you and mori go to events you always encounter a rude guest or two who'd question your place by the port mafia boss's side

usually you're able to argue with them until they're unable to speak but you're exhausted by the night you've had and the rude guest is just picking you apart

finally, you just can't take it from them anymore and rush to the bathroom

mori, of course, notices your absence decides to wait for you outside while you're trying to fix yourself and make it look like you weren't crying

your eyes are still red when you decide to leave the bathroom and of course you're shocked to see mori out there

he doesn't miss the look on your face and quickly asks about what happened

you're a bit intimidated being so vulnerable in front of mori but he wraps an arm around your waist and takes you somewhere quieter where you reluctantly talk about what was bothering you

after you finish talking mori just gently puts his hands on your shoulders

"do you want me to take care of them for you?"

despite how dangerous his voice sounds you end up laughing at that and mori's kind of puzzled but relieved to see you feel slightly better

he reassures you with the fact that you don't have to involve yourself with mafia work and he won't love you any less for it UwU

you were always drawn to fyodor because of how easily he was able to read you and connect with your thoughts

it's something that you found useful in your relationship since you weren't used to openly communicating your thoughts or emotions and because of that you came off as more 'independent' to other people

when you're around him you actually find yourself relaxing a little because he has a good handle on what you're feeling or what you really want

he likes to assure you that he doesn't mind you being vulnerable around him or asking for help (that is if he's not busy with his usual work)

one of the downsides to being with fyodor though was that he was always busy and the two of you could only go on dates around once or twice a month

so whenever he invited you for dinner it was always a big deal for you and you especially looked forward to them so you liked to spend a bit of time getting ready

it was no surprise when fyodor texted that he was going to be a bit late. you were used to it since he had stuff to do and you pulled up your phone or a book to pass the time while waiting at the table

you booked the reservation in advance anticipating this and you thought it was fine but then you noticed that one of the waiters would visit your table a bit too often

at first the questions sounded like concern 'are you alright? is there anything you'd like to order first?' but then they later became a bit more pushy

then they started making side comments about how your date maybe just ditched you and that you should go home already even though you knew very well fyodor was on his way

eventually, it became a bit much and their comments got to you so you started getting ready to leave while quietly blinking back tears when fyodor finally shows up

he's concerned when he sees your teary face which you quickly try to conceal but he strokes your hand gently to try to calm you down

immediately he suspects that it was because of something someone says and as much as he wants to hurt them, fyodor knows that you need the attention first

when you apologize for crying in front of him, he just blinks and says that you never have to apologize for doing that

he's not the best at comforting in general but he gently asks if you would rather order and eat at home with him instead

fyodor knows you missed him a lot (and he missed you but he's not gonna say that out loud yet) so he pays more attention to you for the rest of the night

he makes it a point now to arrive at dinner dates a bit earlier
