a phrase used to refer to a young human, derived from jamaican patois and adopted by londoners, to be used either as an insult or a seal of approval/affection.

Examples:

“who is this hurry-come-up yute trying to chat to me?” (derogatory)

translation: why does this overconfident child think he can disrespect me?

“aye my yute!” (in approval)

translation: congrats friend!
