I love terrible women. women who aren't just 'strong female characters' but who are deeply, severely flawed and maybe, at their core, trying to do what they think is right but very possibly failing. I love women who are selfish and possessive and angry and feral and destructive. and if there can be two of them that are insane about each other? even better.

Sexiest Podcast Character — Scripted Bracket — Round 2
Propaganda
Dr. Joan Bright (The Bright Sessions):
Sexy doctor (but not that kind)
Renée Minkowski (Wolf 359):
killed a man with a harpoon while bleeding from a gut shot. you can't argue with that kind of sex appeal
There is a scene where the main character Doug Eiffel expresses his surprise at the fact that Minkowski, his commanding officer, has a husband. It's probably intended to be read as "Oh wow, she's such an uptight and boring stickler for rules, how could she have found someone to marry", but in my heart it is because she's so butch that Eiffel's brain is short-circuiting trying to figure out how it's not a wife back home. That is sexy!

What was the point if listening to Safehouse II for the 40th time still makes me cry? WHAT WAS THE POINT?!?
Man, the voice actors really did NOT pull their punches for this episode, huh? (Pun not intended)

I fully believe that Damien started calling Dr. Bright "Dr. B" because he forgot what her last name was

Does anyone remember that time when Damien said Dr. Bright is like "the big sister I never had" and then five minutes later, Joan says Damien is "the literal definition of expendable."
Cause I definitely forgot all about that.
Joan describing Damien as pathetic (he is). That she thinks about what she would do with his power and it makes her uncomfortable, while Damien only uses his power to "spend time with people."
... how is it that most of the fandom doesn't see Joan as an unreliable narrator and high key kind of concerning as a person in a profession with a fair amount of authority????

mark and joan are truly the most siblings to exist like yes that is an older sister and younger brother dynamic if i have ever seen one. yes joan is incredibly overprotective and would do anything for mark but she is also the first one to call him out on his bullshit and would probably fight him for the last slice of pizza. yes mark is both grateful and annoyed for joan's overprotectiveness, he wants her to back off but also likes that she cares but also sometimes purposely does things to stress joan out cause he thinks it's funny
