Going shopping with Pride in your world can be quite the experience. You have already done it a couple of times, but there’s still a million wonders for him to discover that make such a mundane task something to remember for both of you. One shouldn’t trust his serene appearance—your lover is a curious soul lured in by anything that catches his eye for even a second, and his impulses are hard to rein in. Today is no exception.

You turn your head around when he loudly gasps, and you find him examining a plushie from one of the shelves. There's a shrewd look in his eye as he recognizes the shape of the many plushies that crowd your bed.

“Darling, look!” He picks it up, a wide smile stretching his lips. “This is one of your plush toys!”

You take a step closer to him to take a better look at the plushie. It’s a white bunny—and that’s as far as the similarities between it and your Cinamoroll plushies go. It’s one of those Valentine’s gifts; a smiling little bunny holding a red heart with the words ‘I love you’ written on it.

You don’t point that out, though, not when he is looking at you like that, expectant, waiting for your excitement to match his. Smiling because of the expression on his face rather than for the plushie, you pet its fluffy head. “It’s very cute,” you agree.

“He seems well-behaved. I think it would be happy to join the others. The orange fish is not great company, I must say.”

You blink at him before your eyes slide to the shelf. Next to the now empty spot where the bunny was seconds ago sits an orange fish that has seen better days. Its eyes are bulgy and poorly woven, and the price tag doesn’t make it much better.

“Allow me to buy it for you,” Pride says then, carrying the bunny against the crook of his arm protectively. “It would make a fine addition to your collection.”

Before you can think of protesting, he’s already walking away and up to the clerk on the other side of the hallway. You can faintly hear him ask, “Excuse me, could I please acquire this?”, followed by the good-natured chuckle of the clerk, who guides him to the cashier.

Part of you wants to stop him. There’s no need to buy you anything and you have way more plushies than your bed can shelter, but yet, as you watch him get in line, you stay put. You are not about to ruin his excitement, not in a million years. You will make sure this bunny gets as much love as the rest.

Were you always a worm or are you a human who got turned into a worm? Is this a universe where people can spontaneously turn into worms? Would worm-you know who Jocelyn is? Would Jocelyn know who worm-you is? Then, after several minutes (or maybe days) of consideration, Jocelyn would very solemnly break down exactly in which circumstances she would love you if you were a worm (any situation that involves you being mentally human in some capacity) and in which circumstances she wouldn't (if you were actually just a regular worm and she didn't know about you).

Amalia

"No" in a completely deadpan voice. Then, as you gasp in offence, she'd grin at you and say something like, "What do you think, dork? Of course I'd love you, no matter how wiggly your body is or how outdated your memes are." You can't tell me Amalia isn't a meme queen.

Abel

Abel would commit to the bit. He'd also playfully ask you specifics, like, what kind of worm? A sexy worm? Then he'd say something absolutely cheesy. In one misfortunate year I ended up getting into several car accidents. It cemented my general fear and anxiety in cars, because in each case I was either in the car but not driving or driving safely when suddenly something hit me.

One was my ex driving in an unfamiliar city and cutting someone off on accident that resulted in a sideswipe. Another was getting rear ended when I came to a required stop.

The last was when I had a green arrow at an intersection. I turned and was smashed into by someone running a red light, T-boning my little car.

Dazed and in shock I tottered out of the car to behold a crusty older man eating a donut step out of the offending vehicle. A fire truck arrived to block us off from traffic since my car could no longer move under its own power.

“Were you on your way home from work?” The firemen asked me.

I shook my head, struggling to focus on them, “No,” I said vaguely, “I was on my way home from volunteering at the animal shelter.”

In an instant they were closing ranks around me, glaring at the ambivalent donut man who would dare to hit a tiny frail angel who volunteered at the animal shelter. They asked if I needed to get anything out of my car. I did.

“It’s… uh. It’s a little weird though.”

They gestured for me to proceed. I grabbed a bag with snacks and books and filled it with things I couldn’t just leave in my car. Last out I pulled my cutlass.

“Is that a sword?!”

It was. They were instantly like giant puppy dogs, excited and delighted but trying to mind their manners. The bravest said, “Can we…?” I held out the sword. They whooped with delight, unsheathing and marveling at it.

“Why do you have that in your car?”

“I honestly don’t remember, it’s just a fun thing to have at a party now.”

“Is your wrist okay?”

My shock was wearing off and I realized I was cradling my wrist to my chest. “Oh.” I rummaged into my bag and pulled out a wrist brace.

“Wh….why do you already have that?” I was starting to confuse the firemen. I volunteered with cats, had a sword offhand, and kept a wrist brace in my car bag.

“Sometimes I try to hold books in a way that sprains my wrist? So I have this in my car just in case.”

They stared at me. Maybe, like my wife, they assumed it was for masturbation induced injuries. They handed my sword back as the tow truck arrived and thanked me for letting them play with it. They gave donut man one last glare and drove their big truck away.

Oh wow, this is a hard one 😂😭I think it depends. Some days I prefer being fully immersed in a movie, with all the plot lines and the emotion and the story happening over one sitting so I get the whole story and then I can go back later and pick bits out. But other times I prefer stories to be broken into smaller sections, especially when there’s so much content to cover because you can get super deep in detail in a show 🥰

Cupcake - Do you have a comfort food? If so, what is it?

So this probably comes as no surprise, but my top comfort would be anything Italian, especially saucy, gooey, cheesy pastas. Pesto pasta covered in cheese, stuffed cannelloni with a crispy topping, pasta bake, literally any pasta like that with a giant helping of garlic bread 😍😍then we have things like warm brownies, cheesy loaded fries/poutine.. basically anything warm and gooey. And bread. Bread. Gotta be bread (and butter)😏
