i need someone to write a fic exploring dazai’s inability to come in terms with the fact that *gaSP* people love and care for him and also how he would react (atsushi in particular, my son)

because as much as i love him fainting and/or staring wide eyed

imagine dazai not understanding why atsushi is constantly trying to help him/be there for him etc

and at first its like well atsushi is just the kind of person to do that like he’s atsushi

but the more it happens the more he cant understand it

because dazai’s smart but he’s never been able to get why people could/would genuinely want him around and care for him

and he starts feeling defensive, trying to find a reason - why would someone like atsushi care about someone like dazai

and he’d lash out telling atsushi that atsushi is only using dazai to prove to himself that he deserves to live because of his childhood not because he cares about dazai

imagine the angst of atsushi hearing that from one of the people he considers his family

because atsushi’s issues have issues - yes - but the agency are the first people who he loves and is loved by

and yes atsushi does have the need to save people to prove that he’s worth living, dont get me wrong

but this one time - with the person who was the first person to show him kindness, he’s just trying to be there for him, like family

imagine the the angst

imagine atsushi’s spiral into wondering how he’d fucked up - that little voice in the back of his head wondering if all that he was and all that he did was just a reaction to his childhood - who would he be if he hadn’t been abused - and did dazai only view atsushi for the things that he’d gone through

imagine dazai’s guilt, the split second after he says it and atsushi’s face crumbles

imagine dazai not understanding still that atsushi cares for him but knowing that he’d fucked up

imagine the awkward air between them because atsushi wont approach dazai, not when he’s convinced he’s fucked up so badly

and dazai doesn’t know how to apologize nor does he really realize how much he cares for atsushi until then - because the fear of atsushi hating him has stirred up

because that’s what dazai does, he takes good people, rips them apart and ruins them

and now he thinks hes permanently ruined his relationship-he-cannot-identity with atsushi

(obviously this whole thing would be fixed if they sat down and talked it out and maybe not fixed completely but theyd get a better understanding of each other but this is dazai and atsushi)

anyway atsushi thinks he’s awful and is and will only be his past and that he’s overstepped and dazai hates him - dazai thinks that he’s not human he’s only been tricking everyone ; including atsushi and that him snapping at atsushi proves it and he still doesn’t realize that atsushi genuinely just really likes him and thinks that he’s tricked atsushi into doing so and also now they aren’t talking and dazai doesn’t know how to apologize

i was looking through some dhmis qnas today and the way the characters are described and answer questions makes me insane (positively)

duck is completely insane. the way he sees the world and the people around him makes zero sense to anyone but him and hes so certain hes right because he thinks hes the center of the damn universe. i dont use this word lightly, because i myself have really bad delusions, but duck is delusional. although, can they even be called delusions if the window mightve actually been disrespecting him? its hard to tell. maybe he DID win a tournament, who knows?! can you really call him delusional when he lives in a world as strange as he does? personally, yes, i can. but even without delusions, i fully believe hes completely lost his mind. i think hes a smart person but his decisions are driven by his huge ego and the “rules” hes made up in his head. theres much more to say about duck, because hes very complex, but i just want to talk about this aspect of him for now.

i like this about him because of how he and red guy are so comedically different. the question joe pelling was answering in the screenshot above is “who is your favorite character to write” well baker terry and becky sloan had a whole discussion with joe pelling about how red guy is actually the best to write because hes refreshing. hes a break from all the nonsense, or at least he is most of the time.

baker terry said something about him that i’ll probably make a whole other post for, but for this post specifically i just want to highlight the heavy difference between duck and red guy. red guy at least tries to think reasonably, and he usually does. he might slip from time to time but duck is just completely off the deep end. that man is batshit. he literally has rabies. he grows teeth randomly. his organs just fall out. its interesting to me how the most normal guy in the series is stuck with this little freak. youd assume from these answers alone that these characters would dislike eachother, that theyd bore and bug eachother to death. but when you see them talk to eachother or about eachother that isnt the case at all.

i just think its funny, a little ironic, how cruel he is. and yet

love is everywhere, i suppose. its a place, its a thing.

S/O likes to hide n shadows, and sand, and seaweed. Uses the element of surprise to hunt but is very good at it. Patient enough to pull it off and smart enough to know the patterns of where the prey will be. Doesnt talk much. Is good at healing others when needed.

Mimic: He likes you a lot! He finds your shyness cute, and sometimes likes to mess with you. He likes to make his tentacles look like snakes or other creatures, mimic octopus and all, and trick you into thinking they're different things. He finds your reactions really cute. He'll talk enough for the both of them, and he doesn't mind that you don't talk much. He does like the fact that you're a merfolk and a cuddly one at that. It makes him feel pretty good.

Ringer: He likes the fact that you're quiet, since he is as well. He's not exactly a slow or careful hunter, but he likes to see what you do. He has his... stuff that comes with being a blue ringed octopus, so seeing you hunt is always kind of exciting? Interesting, more or less. The cuddly part is something that he would have to get used to because he normally doesn't like to be touched. Just don't sneak up on him, and everything will work out fine.

Chum: Well... sometimes Chum forgets where you are, and it'll go and try to search for you. It can be fun, or it can be worrying to it since it likes knowing where you are. Yeah, it's pretty much the biggest thing in the ocean, but that just means it's easy to lose its tiny datemate. You. It likes how cuddly you are and will sometimes let you fall asleep in its skull or its ribs, so then you wouldn't get lost! You'd also be in a really safe space. Nobody could hope to attack you while it's there.

Light: Unlike you, he is not a hunter in that sort of way. He eats mostly plants or jellyfish, maybe some sea urchins. But he likes seeing you hunt, he finds it really interesting and exciting to see! Sometimes you two work together to help you catch stuff since he's so... well... soft and sort of weak looking? He's not! He could fight if he wanted. He's one of the most dangerous creatures in the ocean. Just like his brother.

Deep: Well, that's exactly how they hunt too. Have you ever been in pure darkness and then a light appears? That happens to whatever they're hunting, and they don't ever have enough time to get away. It's pretty scary, really. You two can hunt together! How fun. They don't mind you being cuddly, but they aren't really the most cuddly merfolk...

Inker: He likes that you're quiet, but he doesn't like the fact that you're so cuddly. He doesn't really... like to be touched and will often swim away before you could. Plus, it's dangerous! He doesn't want to accidentally hurt you or shoot ink on accident. So if you ever want to cuddle with them, you have to ask first, or they'll probably get startled. That's not something either of you want.

Angel: She loves you for being cuddly! She'll swim around you a lot, though she isn't very fast with her 'wings'. Sometimes, while you're trying to hunt, she, uh, would accidentally scare your prey away. She isn't the smartest, so it might be best to hunt while you're not with her or around her.

ive been thinking about what kind of person she couldve been!! like what was her personality like??? i was thinking about it and i was like she Had to have been a complement to heinkel… bc heinkels like. once upon a time in lugunica describes him as honest and naive to the core—he used to be hard working and earnest you know? but hes also always been reckless and emotional i think, so i think louanna has more of a calmer personality to balance each other. EXCEPT i also think louanna was more intelligent than heinkel!! you cannot tell me that having wilhelm as your dad makes you very emotionally intelligent wkdnd so yes. smart louanna all the way. perhaps with a bit of a silver tongue… but i also like to hc she and heinkel had a lot of mischief and banter together!! she had to have added Some sort of levity in his life. i like to parallel her with felt bc its like. astrea men (heinkel and reinhard) and their emotional support adventurous blondes!!! so yes i hc that louanna was definitely more confident than heinkel, and also bold in her own ways—you know, to match him and also because he is Literally a nervous wreck all the time. i think theyd be the only people they can really let their guard down around and finally let go of like—pretense. they were a young married couple with a kid too—like around 18-19?? so i feel like with each other they could ALSO still be the young adults they are instead of being so uptight and trying to follow all these expectations all the time. or at least, thats what i think about how their relationship was. he clearly loved her a lot, so she definitely loved him back too.

that, and… well she probably got Nerfed by her coma because if she was still awake, stuff with heinkel and reinhard probably wouldnt have gotten This bad. hence why i think louanna was a pretty capable person with her own strengths. and i think shes capable of being Angry like her husband, but while he burns hot, her anger would be Cold imo.

General Opinion over said character:

louanna seems like she was probably a very sweet person, and i Definitely want her to be at least a little unhinged. and i ALSO JUST WANT MORE CONTENT OF HER TAPPEI…. PLEASE. WE DONT EVEN KNOW HER PERSONALITY……

and ALSO the fact that shes in a coma and Not Dead makes her a ticking time bomb…. shes gonna wake up someday. and i am Excited and Horrified for the absolute shit storm thats gonna happen when she wakes up and twenty years have passed and her husband and son and their whole family are an Absolute Mess.

i think with thawed it can be very plot heavy and thats what drives the characters actions. i think youd have to be familiar with the actual canon lore. so i get a little nervous when readers wouldnt be able to catch small details or piece two and two together—and then theyd misunderstand the whole series T__T! does that make sense? so having to realize there are readers who are familiar with canon lore is such a relief because i can go in depth for all i want and just wait for you guys to notice

you were very spot on! about twenty minutes before posting the chapter i was talking about it !!! so it was such a shock to see u get it right away

but ofc this doesnt mean this is just what i view arlecchino as ^__^ theres definitely more to “Father” and the next successor so im very excited to get into that more

this is gonna be extremely niche but i cant stop thinking about oscar delancey/davey jacobs as a ship (it's the "understanding each other bc they both would do anything for their lil brothers" trope for me) lmao hear me out:

i occasionally see those posts that frame the delancey brothers as the kind of villain characters that are villains bc they're looking out for each other (which i love btw cuz i love complicated contexts); working for wiesel bc their dad is shitty and that's why they were all for beating up the trolley workers etc etc

anyways, so that's the kind of oscar delancey im working with: he's in it bc he's angry at his dad and the world and he's looking out for his brother. btw im using the livesies versions of them! (height difference hehe)

also i've noticed that he's the less aggressive brother? morris is the one that usually gets in the newsies' faces and spouts derogatory language; oscar's the one who stands back more. just works for him in this context.

davey's a new newsie and he catches oscar's eye bc he's cute and is smart (and oscar is not v smart and educated). in newsies 2017 he actually kind of gives davey's back a once over after davey takes his papers lol so you can construe something from there too.

he gets embarrassed for being called out on not counting properly (he was distracted okay)

he's in this position where he knows it's not great to beat on other people but anything is better than getting beat on, and he's doing this so he and his brother can stay out of the house, but he doesnt actually love how morris gets aggressive like that--it's so much like their father.

(morris obviously has issues there too, they just manifest more in the direction of "well this is the lot that's been drawn for my life so why should i be anything else? my father was so shitty, im just gonna turn into him eventually anyways" sort of mentality :( which is a good starting point for one of those mike faist morris fics where he ends up becoming a newsie to support himself differently lol but this is livesies and this hypothetical fic is about oscar anyways)

oscar feels trapped where he is, and he isnt happy, and he's sure there's more to life than beating on other people--especially when they're just kids like him--but he doesnt see a way out that doesnt end in him and morris both getting the worse end of the stick, or separated or something. and he'd never forgive himself if he got separated from morris.

then comes in the cute boy with the tiny brother (and he thinks about how morris used to be smaller than him too), and the cute boy starts a strike to protest their working conditions and he kind of actually... really admires it? but doesnt want to admit it bc theyre on opposite sides and oscar doesnt want to risk the good parts of his life rn, even if they're kinda meagre emotionally--he and his brother have clean clothes and food on the table and their dad's down for the count for a while, ain't no way he's risking that.

so canon happens like it does, and the newsies win, and the delanceys find themselves once more backing up wiesel and helping count the newspapers to give to the newsies for the day and that's where their story really starts, because all the newsies obviously hate him and his brother and oscar hates most of them too but goddamn it he just cant look away from this davey guy

also might be interesting to play with the idea that the delanceys actually live close to where the jacobs live and oscar recognizes him because he always saw davey and les leave for school in the mornings as he was coming back from distributing papes to the newsies

i dont actually know how theyd start seeing eye-to-eye, esp since davey being willing to give oscar even a second of his day seems like a huge hurdle to jump over.

maybe davey's about to get beat up and oscar intervenes against his better judgement, and davey feels obligated to thank him somehow even if oscar doesn't want him to--even thinks it's a bad idea.

maybe after the newsboy strike, the delanceys' prospects get worse bc after the governer steps in, everyone that was after the newsies suddenly gets a bad rap and money starts to dry up, and davey spots oscar giving morris most of his lunch ("c'mon, mo, you're bigger 'an me anyways. ya need ta eat somethin'.") and suddenly davey finds himself empathizing, and very suddenly quite curious about what their deal is anyways. (oh look another opportunity to make morris a newsie)

maybe oscar actually cant read very well and the newsies, most of whom are actually literate enough to read headlines, get news of this and make fun of him every morning about it, and at first it feels vindicating, but then davey starts to feel bad about it.

probably the last straw is when morris actually makes fun of him too (idk maybe morris was able to go to school longer cuz oscar was actually a newsie himself over in queens or brooklyn or something, when he was much younger, when their dad was still mostly decent but their family was poorer)--anyways, morris "teases" in the way siblings do sometimes when they dont realize theyre poking at a tender spot, and that's about it for oscar, and idk if he has meltdown or just quietly implodes, but davey picks up on it and feels bad enough about it that he offers to teach oscar how to read.

which, wouldnt it be interesting if somehow oscar and spot had been friends growing up, maybe sold together as the youngest newsies in brooklyn, but spot never realizes oscar delancey is him cuz he only ever hears about the delancey brothers from race (and jack), and spot only ever knew oscar by his newsie nickname? and his selling buddy moved away a while ago, and he's always been a little concerned cuz in the months before he moved, more and more bruises appeared on his skin, and once spot tried to convince him to run away and stay at the lodging full-time with the rest of the boys, but the kid refused cuz he needed to stay for his kid brother who doesnt know any better... anyways, spot realizing theyre the same guy could be a (sprace) subplot lol.

and then obviously they get to know each other better and davey helps oscar feel not-so-trapped anymore and maybe the newsies end up reluctantly and begrudgingly adopting the delanceys (after a real apology or two or twenty to crutchie, of course, who always got the worst of it from them) and maybe morris comes to realize how much like his father he's become and doesnt want that for himself, and also sees just how misaligned his and oscars goals actually are and idk they all become better and oscar and davey have a relationship that's hard-won but wirth everything

anyways yeah, i do think they'd be an interesting ship lol. oscar/davey!

oh boy okay well, tbh im in camp 'mitsuki and masaru bakugou are assholes' so disclaimer right away: This is not a mitsuki/masaru friendly post.

also, i got most my inspiration/ideas from Sif, her hc's and fics are amazing.

This is gonna be very general probably and also pretty messy/ all over the place but if anyone wants me to elaborate or clarify then just lmk.

ALRIGHT SO, first and foremost, i think the bakugou’s r really neglectful. Theyve always worked very busy jobs together in the fashion industry and they go on lots of work trips and stuff. i think that from the moment they deemed it possible, mitsuki and masaru have been letting katsuki stay home alone for long periods of time. as katsuki kept getting older and more independent (which he had to be) I imagine theyd gradually start leaving for longer and longer.

also, i think that the communication in the house is TERRIBLE. like, often times mitsuki and masaru would just not inform katsuki of their whereabouts and katsuki wouldnt inform them of his either cause,, nobody ever asked/cared. So most of the time katsuki’d just find out his parents are gone whenever theyre literally not there and then its just like, ‘shit, nobody made dinner’. or smth.

and, obviously, the bad communication does not stop there. I feel like especially when he was younger, mitsuki would contradict herself on lots of things (as lots of parents do) like ”you are the child and i am the adult, therefore you must listen to me” but then she’s also like “You are not a child, stop acting like one and get your shit together”. Little katsuki would get so frustrated at this and so confused. I imagine that eventually he’d realize he can never be in the right with her, and thats when he starts resenting her a lot which builds up.

oh btw, I should mention; i dont think katsuki was planned at all. I dont think that mitsuku or masaru wanted to have a kid but then they did and it kinda threw their life around (obviously). mostly for mitsuki i think this effected her career quite heavily for a time and she’s blamed that on katsuki ever since. so she’s always resented him on a level.

But yeah, as i was saying, i think mitsuki and masaru r those types of people that were just never fit to be parents. they dont have the patience or care that u need for a child and it shows. I think masaru is the type to ignore and mitsuki is the type to get frustated too easily and lose her cool. So whenever katsuki was being ‘annoying’ or ‘bad’ he’d immediately be shut up or ignored. No time for explanations or reasoning.

Now, if we go back a step,, katsuki is a super independent kid. a consequence to this is that he’s had to teach himself a lot of things and sometimes those things just arent right. He doesnt know that though because he’s had to collect his knowledge from all over the place, which he thinks is normal. so then for example: maybe he’s fought with a kid at school and the bakugou’s are called. They’re both extremely mad at him but he doesnt understand why. If he gets hit, why would he not be allowed to hit too? Is that not how it works? WOuldn’t that be unfair?

but yeah, because he’s basically had to figure the world out himself, with mostly bad influences to look up to. he’s got a pretty messed up worldview.

Now, i ALSO think that despite mitsuki and masaru not really caring about katuski in general, they DO want to have that ‘we have a good kid’ status, yknow? like, they cant have katsuki embarrassing them or something. I think he’d be dragged along to a lot of places he never wanted to go (dinners, fashion shows, whatever) and forced to wear all fancy clothes and act all neat with no reward. consequences for ‘being a little bitch’ as his mom puts it, are not pretty.

he’s a smart and talented kid too though, and it seems, even to masaru and mitsuki, like he doesnt have to do much for it. which makes them think he’s lazy and stuff and thats not good. so they expect him to work for everything he does at 100% . again, consequences are not pretty.

generally as well, i think there are so many fights in the house. katuski speaks up whenever he disagrees with bullshit and even though he’s never won an argument, he’s always wanted to. so he’s not going to stop.

so yeah, basically theyre strict, neglectful and abusive. There are extreme’s they go to, and because katsuki is just the type to disobey shit he doesnt agree with, those are often used.

It’s been said by Sif before, but i really like the idea that todoroki and bakugou both had bad childhoods but in opposite directions. Thats probably the best way to describe it.

Actually, Ive had a fic in my head for a long time that would partly focus on katsuki’s entire childhood and kinda explain my thoughts on it

But anyway, this is getting ridiculously long and i probably have more i could say plus i can definitely go into more detail. as you can see though, my thoughts are a fucking mess. hopefully this made some sense. again, let me know if u wanna know more! :)

Oh gosh I ship too much with Jon, but okay ignoring certain events, Oswald and Jon could be a cute pair.

Personally I headcanon Oswald as a man who collects rare animals, birds specifically, but he takes really good care of them. No shitty ass Tiger King shit. He finds the instincts of wild animals really interesting and there's a great deal of instinct in fear, he knows the power in fear, so intellectualy there should be some common ground. As a...wait what is Oz, I think a mob boss?... you can use fear toxin so much in schemes in his line of work.

Further the animal connection, I'm always fond of farm boy orgin for Jon. From his birds to horses to whatever. Oz as I said takes good care of his exotic horses, rare vultures and so on, Jon would get to see animals he has only read about before.

Both are 'traditionally' considered "ugly" and while Oswald could buy himself "prettier" company there's always an awareness that its temporary and fleeting. In Jokers Asylum the comic about him indicated that he does want companionship though. A connection beyond his status or money.

And Jon doesn't NEED Oswalds money, he doesn't want money for money sake, (for his experiements he'll just steal no biggy) and he finds relationships even when going well, to be exhausting and labourus. So if he's sticking around its a good sign.

So i think theyd rather know that feelings between them are authentic, in so much as a villian pair can be.

There's also a lot of fascinating issues that would make this a turbulent relationship, such as Jon's 'penny pinching' and patched up clothes. He would never stand being told things designed to make him feel inferior for his poverty or thriftyness. Oswald cares a lot about appearances, finest clothes and lording his wealth and power. He's smart, this pair would work best discussing complex heist plans, chess, like real nerdy shit. It falls apart over paparazzi and Oswalds constant 1 percenter attitude.

If you don't mind, I was meaning to ask you to share them with us. I always look forward to read personal posts of yours, especially if they're about something you're passionate about. thank you lovely! i dont think it was anything that catchy per se, lately i find that people perceive me in a really weird, over-the-top way. im on this research theme and once the girl that volunteers with me turned around on the end of the session and went "you look so clever with your glasses and posture, you make anything sound smart" and it was so weird because i talked, in 8 sessions of 1 hour, for maybe 10 seconds each, to say yes and no. i wear glasses because i cant see anything thats more than 15 cm distanced from me. perceptions are crazy, i think i just look brooding because im always worried or anxious about something, but it does not really translate into that when it comes to physical cues. so please dont take that too seriously!

the professor wanted us to give feedback, individually, about our first interview (that we had to record for her class as an assignment) and about the class itself. when it was my turn i talked about the difficulty in ending the interview - most therapists have this difficulty for a long time in the first years of their career - because it is a moment where the individual has shared a good amount of information and often feels like the session is just starting. the way i ended mine felt like there was a really big (perhaps even drastic) disconnect between the moment of interview/non interview. it felt particularly wrong to me because id never see the person again, and it worried me that theyd find themselves used for the purpose of the assignment and not really listened to. it was just like that feeling, when you share something very true, very deep about yourself, and then when its over your come back to your reality and think "why would i ever say that?". if you feel that in therapy, i do believe that is a fault of the way the session was ended. so i told the professor about it because i did feel like that was the most important feedback i could give of my learning process, especially so i could signal that i was conscious of this mistake. it left me with a sour taste, you know. the person i interviewed was very bright and very emotional, she cried maybe four times during the 1 hour we were together. and the fact that i was just "doing it" for a subject made me feel awful about the entirety of the thing in the end. crying in front of a stranger is no joke, crying in front of a stranger thats recording you is even worse. i feel like it was my responsability to do better by her, and although it did go well, the way i finished it was miserable, to say the least. however, when i shared this with the teacher, the colleague that watched my interview actually interrupted me and told me that she didnt feel that at all, that she thought it was perfect and that the person was very comfortable. so maybe im the one that was too sensitive!

about the class (that was about communication skills in interviewing) i shared my appreciation for the way the teacher had talked about the therapeutic silence, because to hold onto someones pain in silence is the utmost respect you can show for someone - not silence that comes from unknowing or awkwardness, but deep, purposeful and meaninful silence. i found it a very strong concept to hold onto.

i think that, academically speaking, your ability to signal something different than the generality of the other students is always appreciated by the teachers. if you never know what to say or you always point out things others have pointed before, it shows that you haven't really thought about what you learnt with them. however i can assure you that with some teachers i learned absolutely nothing, and theres no shame in that. hope i answered your question, thank you again for the kind words!

Like honestly Echo wasn’t even super crazy about seeing Rex either tbh (I get that Echo feels like he doesn’t fit in with regs and thats all fine and dandy) but it kinda feels like he doesn’t give a shit about what he’s gone through with other people. ---Rambling and getting off topic now because I have some shit between Echo and Fives: but if thats the case like we all know it fucked up Fives when he thought Echo was dead so if Echo isn’t the same way about Fives I guess thats just like... depressing and it sucks because everyone sees them as “that duo”. Again we really don’t know what Rex said exactly so its possible it didnt get brought up but if it did... - Wrecker picking up Rex is so cute but you can see the fucking worry in Rex’s eyes for being picked up by him cause Wrecker would throw him and agjsdb I love it. - Omega straight up being like “youre old” while looking at Rex’s face PFFT no filter kid. - REX KNOWS ABOUT WRECKER -- Good I’m very happy Rex is calling them out on this inhibitor chip shit. ‘Oh crosshair was just an exception’ should definitely not be an excuse. - Oh alright so the glimpse in the trailer was a junkyard and not the same thing. Same kind of ship but not where the graveyard is. Honestly thats kind of a relief. - OH SHIT I WAS TALKING ABOUT FIVES NOW THEY ARE BRINGING HIM UP IM GONNA CRY ABOUT FIVES ALL OVER AGAIN -- wait.... now I don’t know if they know or not about him. - The scenery in this show is really pretty im just gonna go ahead and give some appreciation. - Oh no Wrecker! Pull up the rope!!!!!! He can climb but you can also pull him!!!! -- Thank god. - Omega talking about if something goes wrong? It’s not like theyre all gonna die at the same exact time.... like theyre only gonna do the surgery one at a time so... Omega what are you imagining sis? Like if one person turns? It’s still kind of unlikely that they could defeat the other very talented people in the room. - OH SHIT TECH YELL FOR HELP - HEY THIS HURTS MY FEELINGS DAVE HEY HEY -- LIKE YEAH THEY CANT POSSIBLY KILL THEM ALL CAUSE THE SHOW NEEDS TO GO ON BUT HEY --- Lowkey predicting they could all turn by the end of the show season cause like if they dont beat wrecker and cant use the medical bay then they are fucked. - Ok I’m glad theyre getting them out - THE GENTLE REASSURING TOUCHES IN THIS EPISODE *deep breath* ARE GIVING ME SERATONIN - Wreckers apology ;-; THIS IS SO FUCKING SAD AND CUTE - Rex is leaving already? :( Be safe you funky little space soldier. - Not really surprised the empire is gonna know they were there cause it was only a matter of time but if theyre smart theyd get off planet and back to Cid before the empire gets there to see whats up. -- Im sure they’ll realize they removed their chips though, I wonder if crosshair will show up (he probably will) but if he does rather its gonna be a fight there between the empire and bb maybe the bb can win and save crosshair or they have to retreat and something else goes on idk. - Would love if Crosshair was saved because he really got the short end of the stick and is being called “the bad batch” but like he’s not even really there with them for the show so far... also you can tell subtly that he doesn’t like being alone which is fucking sad :tm: because all his friends are gone and it hurts even more now because wrecker was talking about how he didn’t want to do things and he was trying not to hurt them and stuff in his apology and you know damn well Crosshair is the same way about his friends he’s probably just a lot less expressive about it. -- Honestly even bad batch aside can you imagine how terrible all of the clones feel like all the regs over all knowing theyre the downfall of the jedi and thinking that they were trying to resist it too. Like they know whats happening and deep inside theyre themselves but they cant do shit about it. That fucking hurts me. This is a longer post but this episode was a roller coaster for my emotions.

Okay someone inspierd me 😳

Welcome back to the minor smp prank group with no name yet!

Fundy would be one of the "honorary minors" in the prank group. Theyd bring him along to help prank philza, sense they're related and they thought it would be a good idea...it wasnt

"Alright boys, who shall we prank today??" Tommy says, standing at the front of the big table in their secret hideout. "I honestly dont know, we already did quackity and you saw how well that turned out." Tubbo says gesturing twords Ranboo, who was in the fetal position rocking back and forth.

"I know that one didnt end well, BUT when we pranked geroge there where no complications!"

"Yeah thats cuase i did all the work." Purpled says, seemingly very tired. Tommy sits down, getting angry. "Maybe we could prank phil?" Tubbo suggested, trying to chear up Tommy. "Yeah but phils smart, and lets be honest, we would fail again."

"We started this so we could have fun! If it would make you feel better, we could get someone to help us?" Tommy shot up from his seat. "OMG TUBBO YOU GENIUS!!!" purpled fell out of his seat at the sudden noise.

They discuss who to bring on this mission of theirs. They decided on fundy.

"fundyyy!!" Tubbo yelles, seeing their fox friend taking a walk on the prime path.

"Yes tubbo? What do you need." He says, stopping to let the younger man catch up. "WE NEED YOUR HELP!!" he says with start eyes. Fundy got kinda scared at the sudden yelling. "Uh with what..?"

"Were gonna prank philzaaa." He whispers creepily, yknow like tubbo does.

Fundy thought about it for a second before agreeing.

Tubbo brings him to a sepret base (they didnt want him to see the secret one) where they will plan to mess with philza.

"FUNDYYYY MY MAN!!" Tommy yelles, startiling the fox man. "So, you want to prank philza right?" Fundy says, pulling out a book. Yeah Hes been prepairing for this. "Yes!! Got any ideas??" Tommy says excitedly. "A few..."

They spend the next hour planning for this prank, along with helping the still traumitized enderman.

With a plan and their new companion, they set out to the "artic empire" (as tommy calls it) to go and prank the old man.

Yeah they just got a bunch of enderman and put them in boats. The enderman replaced the villagers (to which where moved into the dog house) and coverd any walking space around technos house.

Lets just say they where chased by an angry pig man, and ranboo had to witness philza kill so many enderman.

"GET BACK HERE TOMMY!!"

"ID RATHER NOT HOLY SHIT!!"

"IT WASNT AN OPTION TOMMY!!!"

"TUBBO WHERE ARE YOU??? HELP!"

"There there Ranboo. Its okay."

"AHHHH" tommy fell into another hole. Thankfully, techno didnt notice and just kept running.

Fundy and purpled left before they could get in trouble, sneeky bastards

All in all, they had fun and traumitized Ranboo again. A successful mission

Im the list anon again and boy do I have more for you but this time I also have some questions as well if your time allows and you are willing to answer of course. First with the other things I loved:

1) the fact that Ron warmed up to Draco so quickly! I genuinely think thats so much in character. Ron is not a distrustful person and as a middle child as they come is very easygoing and would for sure make stupid jokes at Draco

2) The patronus. My god the Patronus. I seriously put the phone down and made a small slow clap during that chapter. At first I was like hmmmm *insert unsure kombucha girl face* because almost all fanfics have him with a dragon patronus and leave it at that (and lets be honest at this point my expectations of you were quite high dont blame me blame your bloody brilliant writing) but then, and I dont know if you did this on purpose or not (I have a feeling you did) but the fact that the dragon was the same (pale white) wounded but still feral dragon that Hermione FREEED (!) from a bank (£££) dungeon, malnourished and used for its nature, surrounded by darkness, wealth and misery!! And it was Hermione who broke its chains!!!!! Is just *chefs fucking kiss* slow clap*

3) the way you describe sex scenes are so natural! Ive never read a fanfic or book that doesnt make me gag a little bit (I am not a fan of smut at all but ill go with it because of a good story) until I read yours. Its so simple but yet intricate and you make the entire act so intriguing and normal and intimate. Bravo.

4) I LOVE SASHA. I love that Theo fell for her head over heels and the way you portrayd her reminded me of a friend of mine who works as a sous-chef in London so I always pictured her when reading it!

5) Dracos inner voice is ON POINT. Like I genuinely think you shoud own the rights to that character now.

6) Ill say it again. I love Ginny. You should also own the rights to her character too.

7) my interest for Quiddich (even when reading the books/wathcing the movies) was on par, if not lower than Hermiones. You managed to get me interested in that too so yes another slow clap to you

7.1) Also such a clever career for Draco!! Made si much sense!

Now to some questions

A) What was the deal with Malfoy referring to Ginny as Weasly and refusing to aknowledge her Potter surname. And why did everyone kept correcting him? It was hilarious granted but I wanted to know whether the reason you included this time and time again had to do wih something deeper? Or was this included as just a funny recurring joke?

B) Why did you choose for Draco to have a “fantasy” to produce a patronus and not for example for him to have had to do that after theyd exchanged “i love yous”. Very interesting angle and i liked that it was sort of a loophole to all the ‘death eaters cant have patronuses’ but quite curious on the thought process

C) Why did you opt for Draco to remove his mark? Do you think that stands as reward for him more or for Hermione? Very smart solution by the way

D) if you have the time- Could you please elaborate a tad more on what the soul-bonding means? Why was it so taboo? At furst hand it seems like a very romantic/amazing thing to do with your partner right?

Lastly- Do you ever itch to make a second part to this? And in the most acceptable case that you dont, I always wondered what you had in mind for them in the future- because of the soul bonding thing, you mentioned that the generational curses will be erased, which means I guess that the Malfoys can have more than one child now, and girls as well. (I cannot believe im asking for this as I am the one to avoid any pregnancy fanfics but) do you imagine them with children and if yes, how many? How do they integrate muggle devices(I know youd agree wit me that Hermione would definitively bring some muggle stuff over!) and which devices would Draco really secretly like?

1.) I like to think Ron matured a lot post-war (not enough to stop making terrible jokes, though.)

2.) Regarding your beautiful analysis of my specific dragon breed for Draco’s patronus: How many points would you like for your Hogwarts house of choice? I will add that according to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the Ironbelly’s scales are normally a metallic grey. I will also add that I subscribe more to book canon than movie canon. In the book version of events of the Gringotts escape, Harry breaks the chains and Hermione (with eventual help once the boys catch on) destroys the ceiling so it can have a way out. The partially blind dragon does the rest of the work on its own.

3.) Thank you, that’s very flattering.

4.) Does your friend also get you into fancy restaurants and can they make salted caramel bread pudding???

5.) Thank you, it was one of my favorite aspects of writing this story.

6.) Thank you, she’s so fun to write and flesh out from her book portrayal.

7.) Haha, I felt so validated by that line of dialogue in Cursed Child when Draco tells Harry he wanted to play quidditch professionally, but wasn’t good enough.

Now to some answers:

A.) It’s definitely a recurring joke. It’s up to the reader to interpret Draco’s actions here: is he doing it to be a massive troll? Or is he genuinely not retaining the information of her married name because he considers this fact so unimportant that he does not bother to keep it in his brain? Troll, snob, or both, you can decide!

B.) I’ll address the second part of this first, because it was not intended as a loophole. I 1000% do not understand the “death eaters can’t have patronuses” thing. It makes absolutely no sense. Snape has a Patronus. But beyond that… Umbridge has a Patronus (a cat). If we’re letting that woman have a Patronus, then yeah, I think Draco can cast one. As for the vision that Draco used to conjure it… up to you whether that’s a fantasy or a glimpse of a certain ritual actually working. Draco’s thoughts on the matter: “An image of such striking tangibility that he might have already lived it, or perhaps experienced time in such a way that he lived it now.”

C.) I wanted Draco to have a choice, obviously a recurring theme for him in RN. For my characterization of him, that symbol on his arm causes him nothing but shame and self-loathing (see the end of chapter 36 during his heart-to-heart with Hermione). He’d already exercised almost every known avenue to rid himself of it before Hermione entered his life (he lists these in chapter 44). Hermione already loved him (and has told him so) by the time she’s figured out how to remove it: “I love the man you are today and I will love that man tomorrow, bare forearm or not. I simply wanted you, for once, to have the choice. It’s your body.”

D.) Ooh anon, you are tempting me here. I really hate to be coy, but you might see some future writing on this very topic.

I can at least answer the taboo part: I think soul magic in general (horcruxes, the use of unicorn blood) is quite taboo in the HP universe. As no one knows what happens after death (not even ghosts, Nearly Headless Nick says as much when Harry asks him point-blank in OoTP) I think most magical folk would think the intense ritual (blending magical cores) an unnecessary thing anyway. As Draco explains in chapter 48, since no one actually knows the effects or if it works, it’s considered a bit over-the-top since it’s probably futile anyway. It is also not a Vow with a death component; Narcissa is obviously alive in this story even though Lucius is already dead. I wrote the generational curse protection theory in as a dig at Cursed Child for the way they handled Astoria’s character.

The idea of it I think is romantic, but I will stress it is very dependent upon the intent of the two participants. To quote Draco in chapter 48 again: “To twine one’s soul to another showed a willingness to not only physically tether one’s self during your time here on earth, but to commit to a blending of your magical cores, putting faith in your magic to recognize its bonded counterpart in another life. Should other lives even exist.”

If you re-read Draco’s experience during the bonding ceremony in chapter 51 (starting from this bit: “The cognizance of his own powers never felt sharper, more familiar, but suddenly another power pulsed within to join with his.”) you might find it bears a resemblance to the trajectory of their relationship.

Lastly- I’ve left Draco and Hermione to their wedded bliss. I’ve got nothing planned for them beyond where they are in the final lines of chapter 51. I don’t have that itch to write more into their future because it would feel forced. Draco laid out his two envisioned futures with Hermione in chapter 48 when they discuss having or not having children. They are happy and content in the life they chose together. That’s all I ever wanted for them.

It was all because of that damned jar of jelly beans.

It wasn’t even James’s or Sirius’s fault. It was the damned jelly beans that’d put them in this misery.

Maybe if they hadn’t been sitting there so attractively, the entire dorm wouldn’t be in this mess. The mess, namely being Sirius glued permanently to the roof, with James stuck in the air trying to dance the waltz to the Ramones. Nor would a crowd of extremely curious Ravenclaws be standing all around Remus.

“Why- why did the bang happen in our tower?”

“Does anything make sense at this point?”

Taking a deep breath in, Remus looked at a squirming Sirius, who met his eyes with a grin.

“I’m sure this angle must be flattering for me, Moons, don’t you think?”

“I think,” started Remus exasperatedly. “That even if you brought a fucking protractor and mathematician here, you’d have as many good angles as a fucking circle.”

“I- I didn’t understand half of those words, Moony, you’re going to have to translate to English.”

“How- how did you even manage to do this?!”

Sirius bent his head over to scratch it, but the length between his stretched-out fingers and head was too far for Sirius’s sanity.

“Moooony, please scratch my head!”

A pout formed over Remus’s lips. Yet he got up, stood on the chair he was sitting on, and scratched Sirius’s head.

Some days he wondered what the hell he saw in Sirius.

Until he saw that dazzling smile that made him go weak at the knees.

“Remind me why i love you,” sighed Remus, resigned.

“Because I’m simply the most charming gentleman you’ve ever met.”

“The fact that you’re on the bloody ceiling begs to differ.”

Sirius pouted moodily.

Merely half an hour earlier, everything was normal. Or, well, as normal as this particular dorm could get.

James had his snitch out, fiddling with one of the wings and watching it flutter. Sirius had his headphones plugged into his ears, his walkman blasting the Ramones. Remus and Peter were sound asleep- like normal people Peter would add.

It had started when James’s snitch had flown out of control, hitting a honeydukes’ bag off of a shelf.

In reflex, Sirius cast a slowing charm on it.

Hence the jar of jelly beans that was now sitting on their dresser.

A moment of silence saw Sirius and James exchanging shocked expressions.

“Are those yours, Pads?”

“Heck no,” muttered Sirius in awe. “Yours?”

“I wish.”

“Moony’s, then?”

“Or Pete’s?”

“Pete won’t go any more than a metre near sweets, and-”

“And Moony won’t stay a metre without them,” chuckled James, finishing the sentence.

“So… d’you want to-”

“Moony would kill us,” said James hesitantly.

“But look at them!”

“Mmm, good point.”

“Acci-“

“HEY!” Yelled James, looking at a grinning Sirius.

“You think I’m going to share this tiny jar with you?”

“We can divide it!”

“No!”

A tense moment- really only tense because the two boys were trying too hard not to laugh while maintaining eye contact- was followed by James reaching over the desk for his wand.

“Oh, so you’re going to face me like a man?”

“I’m going to face you like you’d face me- an immature five year old acting like it’s the first time you’ve seen a wand.”

Sirius pulled a face, before replying “fair.”

“Acci-” started Sirius, before getting cut off.

“ACCIO!”

“Uh- LEVICORPUS!”

“PROTEGO!”

Suddenly, the spell bounced back onto Sirius, who held onto the side of the bed. “Real smooth, Prongs,” he deadpanned loudly.

James simply stuck his tongue out. But just as he was about to grab the jelly beans, he was hit with another, silent levicorpus, and a frankly rude- yet hilarious- grin.

So here the two of them were. Midair. Trying to grasp the jar of jelly beans.

“Acc-”

“Do you know any other spells, Pads?”

“This isn’t a class, is it?!”

“Fair, but-”

“Acc-”

“Epoximise!”

“Wh-” started Sirius, before his wand arm got stuck to the stealing above. “Y- you’re kidding.”

“No, I actually listen in class.”

“Listen my ass, how the hell do you undo this?!”

“I- I don’t actually no,” admitted James, bursting out into chortles.

Sirius just blinked in shock, trying hard not to laugh with James. “You- you- I-”

“I really can be smart sometimes, did you-”

But before James could complete that sentence, Sirius shouted “TARANTALLEGRA!”

“What does that even-”

Suddenly, Sirius’s Walkman was much louder, and James was swaying in an elegant dance with the air, very confusedly, to the beat of ‘Judy is a Punk’.

It truly was a sight for sore eyes.

It didn’t, however, stop James, who attempted to point his wand at the jelly beans. “Impedimenta!”

Suddenly, James’s hand jerked up, and the spell bounced right through the dorm door, probably somewhere else.

“Oh fuck,” muttered James. Sirius, on the other hand, looked two grams of sugar away from absolute and hysterical ecstasy.

“You think it’ll just disappear?” Asked James.

“You’re the one who listened in class,” mocked Sirius.

The sudden bang that sounded far away seemed to answer James’s question.

“Goddamnit,” cursed James, rolling his eyes.

“What the fuck did I just watch.”

Sirius’s heart skipped a beat at the familiar voice. Both of them turned their heads slowly, dreading what theyd see.

An extremely bewildered Remus was sitting upright in his bed.

“Um... James, would you like to explain?”

“That- very good question, Pads, really, I-”

But before James could finish that sentence, a crowd of chattering students appeared through the door. Silence fell over all of them, as they stared at James, still waltzing to the loud Ramones walkman, and Sirius glued to the ceiling.

“This is how it ends,” said Remus, his voice breaking the silence. “This is really how it fucking ends.”

okay basically i’ll do a summary in case y’all dont wanna read his SAD story. tw: domestic abuse, abandonment, alcohol abuse.

Summary: ARES BYERS, 23, SENIOR.

A finance major at LexU.

He’s currently doing both soccer and boxing, but soccer would be for his athletic scholarship. ( he has a full ride )

Boxing would definitely be like more of an anger relief thing and honestly, he defs loves soccer but he knows he can’t rely on that for a forever thing. plus he defs things boxing is good money, yknow that side hustle illegal shit

Loves art like a lot.

He visits his siblings probably every other day or whenever he can because he really is so protective of them or he’d even bring them to campus all the time even though his “ step dad” hates it.

His relationship with his mum is still super strained because she really is in denial about her toxic abusive situation with his “step dad” and hes trying to tell her hes going to get her out and she just does not want to.

His mum is an alcoholic and his stepdad is physically abusive to them like most of her past partners which is something ares has been dealing with since he was a child.

hes solely doing finance to get a good job to get his mum and siblings out of the situation theyre in now.

he wants sole custody of his 3 siblings but i mean, he needs a stable job and place to live aka finance

has 3 younger sisters who he adores.

HISTORY STUFF ( YIKES SOZ ) Its long everybody.

He was born to teenage parents who hadn’t even graduated high school yet. They had a pretty tumultuous situation and his dad really didn’t think they should have a kid, but his mum thought that it would bring them closer together and make his dad mature…. Which definitely didn’t end up happening.

once Ares was born his dad stuck around for about a year or two before basically abandoning them and offering to give up parental rights to his mum Alycia.

That’s when things basically just went downhill. It really messed with his mum, obviously she was supporting ares on her own with no support from anyone, no family and very little money, at the time she had been trying to go to school but had to give that up once she was the sole provider for Ares. And the fact that someone she thought was going to be her partner abandoned her just led her down a pretty dark path.

It was just his mum and him after this. There wasn’t a lot of stability for them. His mum for a while was the only family he had. his grandma wasn’t really very supportive of his mum having the baby and living with his dad etc and they’re relationship was quite strained too.

• By the time Ares was about 12 he was already probably mature beyond his years, his mum by then had basically gave herself up to alcohol and had some pretty bad shady boyfriends in the house. Ares would definitely still vividly remember like explosive fights between her and boyfriends where things got physical between them and even to Ares from multiple different boyfriends.

His schooling was just.. a mess he definitely repeated a grade or two because of the commotion of home life.

Regardless though he was still VERY protective of his mum even if he felt pretty abandoned by her, he was just confused why she was letting these people come around when they were better on just the two of them. But that really didn’t last long, his mum ended up having multiple other kids with different people.

So he has Maeva, Orion and Lea who are his half siblings and theyre all under 12.

I think he definitely grew up faster than most because he always felt an urge to protect his mum and his siblings now especially. he worried about them all. He was definitely an anxious kid.

• His mum ended up marrying but honestly Ares couldn’t hate his stepfather more. He would refuse and still does refuse to call him dad or stepdad because he truly thinks he’s a piece of shit. Like he knows he treats his mum like shit and hes had no problem being physical with the both of them and once ares got old enough he really did start fighting back which only made it worse.

There’s probably been multiple times where its been ares calling the police on him after he fought with his mum but as usual his mum always takes his side which honestly fucked ares up constantly but eventually as soon as he could he was working even at like 13/14 because he was desperate to save money thinking he could help his family get out of the fucking mess they were in.

His number one priority is and will always be his mum and his sisters even though deep down I think he has some kind of resentment towards his mum he’ll always love her. He just wishes that she would take his side especially against his “ step dad”

Basically though once he was about that age he realised he really needed to start focusing on school, grades and sport anything he could so he had some kind of chance to get into a good uni and get his family out of everything. Like he knew he’d need somewhere he could get a full ride since theyd never be able to afford it and somewhere still nearby so he could look after his sisters still.

His stepdad knew though that ares was working even when he wasn’t supposed to be and he really took advantage of that, he was definitely beyond lazy and ares basically always felt more of a parent to his sister than anyone else.

So basically he ended up graduating – late however he was 19 when he graduated high school because of repeats and luckily enough he got a full ride to Lexington university and he really took it within a heartbeat. He ended up choosing finance not because its anything he’s interested in but because he wanted something that would pay really well so he can support his family, but he knew he didn’t have 8 years to do medical school etc.

Personality:

he can have a shitty attitude won’t lie, like he’s very focused and set on what he wants and needs to do and he wants no one getting in the way of that.

He’s super into boxing to release a lot of the pent up anger he obviously feels and really because he wanted to know how to fight back all the assholes his mum had in his life.

He is can be extroverted and talkative but I think with the people who aren’t close to him or to people he doesn’t have a real trust in it’s probably a pretty surface level. Its never about his family or past in fact I think that part would be something very few if any people know about.

his sisters aka his pride and joy, he probs has pictures of them in his wallet.

He likes to keep things light hearted as a distraction from himself but he definitely doesn’t let people in easily.

He really tries to avoid confrontation because it’s so triggering to him but he does have a temper which is what scares him. He is like paranoid he’s going to become a product of his environment so he goes against that as much as he can but if people come for his family or anything he would lose it.

Can be aloof.

Has a hard time trusting anyone has good motives or will stick around because of much he’s been abandoned and how manipulative the people in his mums were.

He’s cynical.

He really holds onto grudges pretty easily.

His ass is pretty sarcastic and witty, a huge smart ass.

He’s not into commitment right now or he’s avoiding. Like the only examples he’s ever seen of relationships have been a mess and it’s not exactly his priority. ( but lbr  whats the fun in that. )

He tries to abstain from alcohol but he finds that pretty hard. When he does he tends to drink pretty heavily which is why he tries not to because he knows it obviously has caused his mum so much grief.

Hes an escapist.

He’s really super protective though, of the people he does have in his life I think he really wants to give those people the things he didn’t have so he overcompensates and would literally fight whatever or whoever for the people around him.

he hates authority.

•He definitely is really big into art but that’s also something really personal he doesn’t share much and he knows like that isn’t going to provide for his family which is exactly why he's done finance.

really tho. call me cliché and uninspired but. Alec knows Magnus from uni. Magnus is still majoring in chemistry but hes clearly so talented and smart he already has made some incredible discoveries and is working and studying in like doctorate level classes. he's a genius, and he's creative, and he wants to use his knowledge to create good and accessible stuff. hes also beautiful and fine maybe Alec has a crush on him.

but hes never really had,,,, the Opportunity to talk to him? theyve done a few group projects together and they got along fine but Magnus is always busy with his research and his thousands of groups and studies you know

anyway Alec is like.... an unwilling superhero because his sister is fucking crazy but also he loves her and ain't gonna let her deal with criminals™ alone so now he's her sidekick. his superhero persona is even grumpier than his usual persona and that is definitely saying something

anyway, they need magnus' help with some shit, i dont know, identifying some supervillain who leaves these weird substances behind? dude i dont know

so naturally Alec is like "well we could get magnus' help... you know.... hes smart...... and right there...... and hes nice hed probably help us" and izzy is like "yes Alec you should totally ask him out" and Alec is like "shut up"

so he goes to magnus as his superhero persona and asks him for help? and of course it isnt as simple as it looks so they need to come to magnus for help A Lot and him (as his superhero persona) and Magnus become pretty good friends and ah yes fuck this crush is starting to grow

magnus becomes kind of an honorary member of their little team after that and helps them with most cases. theres always something he can help them with. even when its not chemistry-related, hes smart and good at profiling and reading people. and he helps Alec relax. you know. and that makes it easier for everyone. right? yea

but look, look. he needs to keep his distance. its dangerous enough as it is and if magnus gets too involved that's gonna put him in danger. the last thing he wanted was to get another person he loved liked knew in danger. and if Magnus knew about their secret identities that would compromise izzy and he cant do that. not even their little brother Max knows!! so like, distance. totally

except he sucks, of course, and finds himself talking to Magnus for hours on end instead of actually doing his thing more often than not. and he totally falls in love. like completely. fuck

and on magnus' end........ well, hes hurt, because hes falling for this grumpy little weirdo whos so attached to rules and yet is willing to throw them out of the window to protect his little sister, who is genuinely interest in magnus' babble that only the other chem guys listen to (but are too busy trying to prove theyre better than him to actually have a nice, interesting conversation), who cares for his interest, cares for him. asks how hes doing and demands that he sleeps well and listens to his complaints. you know. he likes the both of them a lot, and for the first times he feels not only like he belongs, but like he's allowed to be. not to mention wanted and cared for.

but they dont trust him. which, look - its stupid. they dont owe him anything! and they are friends. they do tell him stuff that matters. he knows everything about their lifes but their names and the names of the people in their lives. and they have a lot at stake! and Magnus is an eccentric weirdo anyway. its good enough that theyre friends! really!

but hes pining, because theres this guy whom Magnus doesnt even know the appearance of, and who likes him, but doesnt trust him. he knows if it were up to the sister theyd have told him by now and it hurts that he doesnt trust him.

but it makes sense, too, again, Magnus shouldn't be demanding him that. but fuck hes fallen in love with him and he doesnt even trust magnus in return

it just hurts

and theres lots and lots of mutual pining and issues and Magnus not voicing his concerns because its fine!!! and he has no right to be upset!! and hes being stupid anyway and theyre right not to tell him

and he closes off in that way he does - by always being extra smooth and casual and using that as armor. and Alec is hurt, too, because he knows Magnus is closing off, but who the fuck is him to ask? Magnus just thinks their whole superhero thing is interesting. and he cant really demand anything out of Magnus when he cant be open with Magnus, either, and anyway he deserves better than this mess

anyway theres lots of drama for a while until eventually of course the dam breaks somehow. idk, i like to think Alec decided to tell him rather than him finding out on accident, but i dont know what exactly would lead him to do that. maybe he just gets tired of it and snaps. maybe he just shows up at Magnus' in civilian clothes like "hello it is me". maybe he just gets tired one night and it's like. hes already tired of lying and hiding and Magnus is already in too deep anyway, and hes thinking it over, he is, hes gonna tell him... and then something happens that would mean it would be slightly inconveniencing for him to turn around so as to not reveal his identity (like, idk, he needs to look at something but he cant see right with the mask lol) and hes like "fuck it [removes mask] my names Alec btw" and Magnus is like "woah ur the hot guy from that group project????"

anyway because im really slowburning today that doesn't mean they tell each other how they feel, of course. Magnus is still convinced Alec isnt into him (hes just told Magnus who he is! really, this is more than enough) and Alec is still an idiot. but it does have the upside of them getting to talk during the day and stuff! which is great, except awful because now they can Pine at any time of the day

anyway i dont even know how this gets solved tbh irhejdndkd its already too long, i dont wanna go the "Magnus is kidnapped and Alec realizes life is short" route because this is cliché enough but. uhh i dont know Magnus gets some prize on his research on uuuhhhhh clean energy? fuck if i know. and Alec attends and hes just so proud of him and so happy for him he kind of does the whole "i love you" thing and Magnus is like "you do??" and Alec is like "Magnus. Of course" and they kiss the end
