full demonic possession Oz. he's literally haunted by a demon from hell that's trying to steal his body which accidentally sends him into a murderous rage at night. he has full blackouts when it happens but one day he doesn't wake up back at home but instead tied to a chair in the animal clinic, covered in blood.

he gets better, but he keeps some of that residual demonic anger.

would honestly be a Stiles ship because I'm nothing if not predictable, Oz needs an adhd boyfriend to help balance him out. I could also see him and Scott being very cute together though, because Scott could really give Oz the safe place he so desperately needs.

the best of besties with Lydia because in my brain she's a mean lesbian (I'm correct) and they would be mean and gay together. Lydia judges every single man Oz ever has a crush on. also they would die for each other.

Oz and Stiles would bond over being possessed honestly, because it's weird and invasive and scary and it's the first time Oz realizes that Stiles has more depth to him than just being a huge annoying idiot, so he starts to notice more and more things about Stiles until it becomes an actual crush.

Oz does several murders. most of them on accident, some of them not so much. he comes very close to killing Theo at one point and nobody but Stiles can shake him from the murderous rage he gets stuck in. Stiles will never, ever, let Theo forget that he basically saved his life.

Started Tammy Thompson yesterday and I’m only on 14 but I am having a GREAT time! Really interesting concept and her reactions/interactions are so understandable and more realistic than most “person wakes up in tv show” fics I’ve seen (not to say they weren’t also great). Hope you continue to have fun writing it!

Marissa Montgomery has never truly known peace. She thinks the last time she felt anything like it was the years before she turned eight years old, living in a London townhouse with her mother and stepfather and baby half-siblings. 

But death seemed to follow her, and it took everything from an eight year old girl as it snatched up her mother in the form of a man with a missing finger on his right hand, Marissa watching helplessly as he promised to give her a good life until her stepfather broke down the door and fought the killer off. 

And as Scotland Yard handed her hot chocolate and a blanket while they carried her mother’s body out on a gurney, she made a promise. She would not let death win. For every life that he took, Marissa would save one to keep things in balance. An endless war that sent her not only to America for university but to John Hopkins for her medical training.

I love how I’ve been saying this for pretty much every ask I’ve gotten but please ignore how long it’s been since I watched the beginning of Legacies 😅

how they'd be introduced

It’s during Rafael’s tour in the first episode with Lizzie and Josie where Oliver is seen with the wolf pack. Lizzie makes a comment on how he’s a “malfunctioning werewolf” and Josie mentions how he’s part of the only other twin set in the school.

It isn’t until episode four that Matthew first appears after Rafael mistakes him for Oliver and tries to ask for advice... simply put Matthew takes offense.

who the fandom ships them with

Oliver in particular is shipped a lot, mainly with Hope since it’s canon, but also with Jed, Lizzie and MG.

Meanwhile with Matthew, it’s pretty much only Josie, but there are the rare people who ship him with Hope.

why the fandom loves them

They’re a fun new species! People love the worldbuilding behind the fact they’re hellhounds. People also love the fact they’re Gilberts and continuing the Gilbert line in a way that wasn’t expected, not through Elena but through Jeremy.

With Oliver specifically, he’s just adorable, that’s it. Then with Matthew a lot of people can relate to his emotional struggles and love his arcs throughout the seasons.

why the fandom hates them

Some people hate the fact they’re Gilberts, but from Jeremy instead of Elena and feel like they should’ve been her kids for some reason. There’s also those people who complain about how there’s two sets of twins in the show.

People hate Oliver for his optimism which they automatically assume means stupidity (I mean he’s below average but still) and with Matthew he’s often called a villain and just plain rude.
