Character profile: Frank "Noses" Capone

This character is based off of and takes inspiration from the historical Frank Capone.

Real Name: Salvatore "Frank" Capone

Nickname and Meaning: Noses - He got this nickname from being inquisitive and being unafraid to stick his nose into other people's business, even if it gets him into trouble.

Age: 28 (July 16, 1895)

Time Period: Frank is from America's Prohibition in the 1920s, to be exact, hes from April 1st, 1924 Chicago, just before he and a group of Mafioso's went to the polling station near the Western Electric Hawthorn plant.

Family: James "Jimmy" Vincenzo Capone, Raffaele "Ralph" James Capone, and Alphonse "Al" Gabriel Capone + Three younger brothers and one sister that wasn't brought back.

My own silly headcanons:

Can be level-headed, but usually his anger gets the best of him.

His presence calms Al down a lot. His brother really loves him and missed Frank. Frank reminds Al of simpler times when they’d run errands for their old boss Torrio… now Al’s boss.

Represented by clover/clubs. The club symbol represents the summer season and the earth element. The club suit in cards indicates youth, a phase when a person focuses on education, and recklessness.

Frank has matching pins with Al, Jimmy, and Ralph, each brother taking a playing card suit. The brothers made them together with old scrap metal they found in the Navy yard.

Sticks his nose where it doesn’t belong. He likes putting himself in the middle of gossip circles. When he’s not purposefully antagonizing Napoleon to get a reaction, they get along really well because of this.

going to sleep thinking about the various hallucinations I've experienced. i don't have any psychosis or condition where I'd normal hear/see them, but i will get bouts of them usually when I'm in the process of waking up, which is fairly common, and it's honestly given me so much empathy to schizophrenics and others who just.. have them all the time.

like the first one i remember as being a full-on hallucination, where i was 1000% convinced was real for at least 5 minutes, was what sounded like a man very convincingly making an animalistic monster growl. that's the best way i can put it. it "came from" my bedroom hallway entryway and my eyes shot open, and everything about it seemed so real—i could feel my ears remember the sound, i knew i was awake (i wasn't fully), and i just wracked my brain for way too long trying to figure out what the fuck it could've been, my partner, my dog, a fuckin actual monster or, worse, a man pretending to be one, until my brain went from 90% to 100% awake and i was able to rationally think "was that a fucking hallucination?"

I'm thinking about this because i had one this morning, and I've had a couple in the last few years since that first one, one time a woman screaming, usually voices saying random words or names, once or twice a big crashing sound. this morning was a woman's voice saying something short but it wasn't super clear. thankfully I've gotten used to them and can more quickly rationalize that they were in my head despite everything else being convinced it was RIGHT THERE. thank goodness most of them are boring and short and not scary but sometimes they still get a bit of a rise out of me and i honestly can't imagine that just being my life. y'all are warriors

I'm not sure if my visual hallucinations are truly that, they're typically when I'm going to sleep (or need to be) and are usually explained by tricks of the light, my eyes just Being Tired and not working at 100% and just look like quick moving shadows and bugs. but the audio ones are certainly by definition hallucinations caused by my brain not completely turning off dream mode before I'm conscious, so that's fun

I had an auditory hallucination for the first time ever this morning lmao.

I woke up really early on accident and shut my eyes for a little bit resulting in a short lucid dream and sleep paralysis- which I'm pretty used to by now it's more annoying then scary... Did not expect to hear what sounded like a crowd of people off in the distance followed by a loud bug buzzing in my right ear ( that one might've been real though, mosquitos have been sneaking into our house lately >:/ )

I figured out what was going on pretty fast still a bit spooky though, and the irony of having my first auditory hallucination on the first of October isn't lost on me though hahah.

my job should be professional test subject for sleep and dream studies. I have an amazing memory for my dreams, which are incredibly detailed and intricate. when I regularly record my dreams I can recall dreams from each stage of sleep and recognize the different styles of dreams. I had to stop writing down my dreams because it took literal hours to record everything I remembered. I have multi-part dreams across multiple nights with recurring characters. I will sometimes wake in the night from one dream, fall back asleep, and then have another dream where the 1st dream was a movie/novel/dream that I'm now explaining to others, except sometimes then I will become a narrator of a new story that will unfold before my dreaming eyes as I explain it. I talk in my sleep. I can lucid dream, and improve with practice. at my highest level of lucid dreaming I can control all aspects of a dream. having not practiced for years, I mostly just go oh this is a dream thank god I'll fly away now, and then do so. I didn't have flying dreams at all until I taught myself with lucid dreaming. I once smelled something in a dream, thought it's impossible to dream smells so I must be awake what the fuck is going on? I never found an explanation for what I smelled.
