Eyes Like The Ocean pt 2

Pt 1

Pairing: Chris Sturniolo x Reader

Summery: Just a girl on vacation at her beach house who meets a boy on the beach, what happens when she has to go back home.

Warnings: cussing, alcohol !

We ended up on the beach for over 2 hours just messing around until we finally decided to go inside and get ready for dinner.

Sadly I didn’t see much of pretty boy since the small interaction, but we’re here for a week.

I was trying to pick out an outfit when Allie came in my room and laid on my bed. “I think you should pick that” she said pointing at a pink summer dress , “with your pink converse” she continued as she pointed at them.

“Ugh you’re so right” i said as I grabbed them and a pair of socks, “I’m gonna go take a shower ” I said as I walked into the bathroom. I looked into the mirror and smiled, the overwhelming feeling of wanting to move into this house and forgot about my apartment in New Jersey is strong.

I walked out of the bathroom freshly out of the shower with wet hair, seeing Gavin and Allie in my room sitting on the couch in front of my bed.

I sighed and shook my head, “why are y’all in my room” I said as I crossed my arms. “We were bored and we was waiting for you, you take a very long time by the way” Gavin said rolling his eyes.

“Dude I was in there for 30 minutes” I said with a laugh and walking over to my dresser, “and plus I’m still not done” I laughed. Gavin groaned and walked out of my room, while me and Allie looked at each other and laughed.

“Men, am I right?” Allie laughed while she got up and walked over to my bed and laid down.

“Yea.. men” I said sighing, “are you thinking of that boy you made eye contact with for a mere second?” She said with raised eyebrows.

“No?.. yes..” I said as I pulled out my blow dryer, “he was cute” I sighed as I looked at her through the mirror that’s sitting on my dresser.

“You should’ve talked to him, what if you never see him again??” Allie laughed as she sat up, I gasped and whipped around to face her. “Don’t say that shit, I will.. hopefully” I groaned and turned around right as I was getting a call.

I grabbed my phone quickly hoping it was Alyssa, It indeed was Alyssa. I answered immediately, “hey Lyss!” I said with a big smile. “Hey girl, I’m just calling to make sure you got here safe.. you never answered” she said with a laugh, “oh my god.. I’m so sorry, we got here and immediately went to the beach” I said with a laugh.

“So you made it!?” She yelled as she started jumping up and down, “yes, I can’t wait to see you dude! It’s been too long” I said sighing as I putting the phone down on my dresser. “Hey Allie!!” She yelled through the phone.

Allie smirked while she waved her hand fast, we all started laughing. Allie never fails to make anyone laugh.

“You should definitely come to the bon fire tonight” Alyssa said with a smirk, “why do I know nothing about this?” I asked as I waved to Allie who was currently walking out of my room.

“I don’t know, it’s something the locals do every year” she said shrugging, “I’m down, you gonna come get me or what?” I said with a smirk.

“Yea I’ll come get you around 9, but I gotta go my pasta is about done” she said with a smile. We said our byes, and as soon as we hung up I started blow drying my hair so I can be ready by 5.

We were on our way to the restaurant, when Allie stuck her head out of the sun roof. I took a video of her and immediately posted it to my instagram story.

All the windows were down and ‘nightcrawler’ was blasting through the speakers, this is my kind of life. I really need to move back down here some day, this is truly my happy place.

When we got to the restaurant, we walked in the restaurant seeing that it was full of people. Not our go to but it’ll work because this place has the best crab legs around.

The waiter walked us to our table and luckily we were in the back corner, I sat on the outside of the booth while Allie sat in the inside across from Gavin.

“You okay?” Allie whispered tapping my arm, I had my arm up and I was biting on my finger nails.

“No, yea, I’m fine” I said removing my hand and smiling, “I was just thinking” I said as I grabbed a menu looking at the desserts just to keep my eyes from roaming around.

The waiter came back with our drinks, she’s literally so sweet. She complimented my dress, i was tempted to ask her for her number simply because I need more friends.

After she got our orders she walked away, to go do what waiters do. Gavin and Allie were in their own little conversation.

“I’m going to the restroom” I said as I got up and started walking to the bathroom, as I was walking to the bathroom someone came out of the mens bathroom.

I looked up hearing the door open, catching eyes with the familiar blue eyes. My eyes widened slightly as he smirked and whispered a quiet “hey” as he passed me.

I guess the cape is smaller than I thought. I did my business and walked back to our table to see our food was already there. The wait here was surprisingly short considering how packed they are.

We ate our food and had good conversations, we were only here for about an hour and a half. We paid and left a big tip because the service here is always great.

As we were walking out I was walking in front of Allie and Gavin, I was looking straight ahead when I saw pretty boy sitting at a table with who I’m assuming is his family. The two guys sitting on each side of him look awfully similar to him. He saw me and nudged the guy to his left and nodded towards me.

My eyes went wide and face turned rosy as I walked past them. Holy shit, he probably thinks I’m following him or something. He totally told that guy that I’m weird or something.

We got back to the house, and I went straight to my room and laying on my bed whipping my phone out to text Alyssa and telling her about pretty boy.

She just told me not to worry about it, and that he probably thought I was pretty. But then I told her about the guys sitting beside him.

Right after I told her she started to FaceTime me. I answered immediately, and said hey. “Hey, okay so I don’t know which one you’re talking about but I do know you’re talking about the triplets” she shrieked, “who’s that?” I mumbled confused.

“They come every summer, I’m surprised they’re here for spring break” she spoke with raised eyebrows, “anyways I’ve always had the biggest crush on one of them, I don’t know their names tho” she sighed.

“Maybe they’ll be there tonight?” I shrugged as I got up and walked over to my bag to get my lipgloss out of my makeup bag.

“Maybe, but they always got some girls following right behind them, so no shot am I getting a chance” she sighed as she applied her blush.

“Who knows, they might just be their friends” I giggled, “possibly, oh! Also ones gay and I heard that he’s super nice” she looked into the camera with a smile.

“Yeah.. I wish I was their friend.” I sighed and put my phone on the nightstand, “is this cute?” I backed up and did a spin hearing a “yes butch what the fuck?” Coming from my phone.

“Dude, Allie picked this out and she ate.” I laughed as I looked at the phone seeing her tying her shoes.

“Allie always got good style. Also be out in 10, I’m about to be on my way, bye love you!” She rushed as she hung up. Oh?

I sighed and walked out into the living room seeing Allie with a glass of wine and Gavin sitting next to her, they were watching some show.

“Hey, I’m about to leave” I whispered , they both looked at me “are you drinking?” Allie raised one eyebrow up making me laugh. “You know I don’t drink” I shook my head laughing.

“Yea but you literally never know when your with Alyssa, you know she drinks” she said nodding her head at me.

“Yeah, I know but I don’t mind when other people drink..” I frowned and pointed at her hand.

“Oh! I forgot about this” she laughed, “how are you getting home tho?” She said as she placed the drink on the table. “I’ll probably end up driving back here and she’ll probably stay the night” I shrugged as we heard a car honk.

I open the front door to see Alyssa standing there, I squealed and pulled her into a hug. “Do you mind if we walk? The beach is literally in your back yard” she smiled widely. I just nodded, “I can’t believe I’m fucking here dude” I screamed.

As we were walking down the beach we could see all the people at the bonfire, even tho we were at least 100 feet away.

“I’m getting smashed” Alyssa laughed, “you’re gonna have to meet my friends!” She yelled grabbing the attention of a few people as we were walking into the crowd. “Yeah, I do” I giggled as a few people were waving at Alyssa.

We walked to the drink table someone who was nice enough to do so. I looked around the area as Alyssa was getting her drink, I felt eyes on me from behind me. I turned around looking for any lingering eyes, only catching a familiar blue eyed boy.

His usual ocean blue eyes looking darker in the dark night. My eyes slowly go down his body checking out his outfit, he was wearing a pair of camouflage pants and a black shirt. He looked good.

I got nudged out of my thoughts by Alyssa, “is that the one you were talking about?” She whispered.

I turned to her swiftly and nodded, “he’s so cute” I sighed and continued “where are your friends?” I asked smiling. She smirked and interlocked our arm, “right this way” she moved towards the boy I was just looking at.

“Woah where we going” I whisper yelled, “my friends” she shrugged. Well I wasn’t nervous on meeting her friends but if her friends are near this boy I’m gonna be nervous.

I was right her friends are right next to him, you might as well count him in her friend group.

Alyssa was talking to her friends after she introduced us all, her friends seem nice but my mind was going crazy with this boy standing only a few inches behind me and I still didn’t know his name.

I was focused on the random song playing when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around to look at who ever tapped me. My stomach churned. “Hey!” He smiled, “hi” I smiled with rosy cheeks.

“I’ve been seeing you everywhere” he smirked, “yeah, I’m sorry” I winced.

“Why are you apologizing?” He raised an eyebrow, I shrugged and before I could start talking he continued. “Oh! My names Chris by the way” he smiled as he put his hand out, “Y/n” i put my hand into his as I looked into his eyes with a small smile.

“Pretty name for a very pretty girl” he smiled, “why haven’t I seen you here before?” He asked dropping his hand but stepping a bit closer.

“I come here every spring, I missed last spring tho” I shrugged, “that’s probably why, we mainly come down in the summer. Might have to start coming in the spring tho” he smirked letting his eyes travel my body.

I blushed with a laugh, “You from Massachusetts?” I asked taking a step closer. “Yeah, Boston, you?” He brought his drink up to his mouth but his eyes never leaving mine.

“I was born here, but we moved to New Jersey” I sighed, he creased his eyebrows “you don’t like it?”.

“No I love it, I just miss it here” I sighed, “what part-”he started before a shriek interrupted him making his eyes widen and look behind me. I whipped my head around seeing Alyssa run towards us.

She wrapped her arms around me and whispered yelled “I didn’t think you’d actually talk to him” she gasped, my face went rosy as I looked down to my feet. “Hey Alyssa” he laughed, she immediately looked up to him.

“Your brother is so hot, give him my number please” she let go of me, “oh, Matt?” He asked as I turned around to leave so they can do their own thing.

I felt a hand wrap around my wrist and pull me back around and up next to them, I looked up seeing chris who was still talking to Alyssa. I was right in front of him, he grabbed my hand then spin me around so I was facing Alyssa and not him.

Alyssa looked at me and smirked as she handed chris her phone so he could put in Matt’s number.

“Okayyy, I think it’s time for us to go” I sighed turning around to face chris who frowned at me, “girl we just got here?” Alyssa said pulling on my shoulder so I’d face her.

I sighed as I pulled my phone out, we’ve been here for a little over an hour. “I’m tired, you can stay but I don’t feel comfortable leaving you here by yourself” I sighed once again but my eyes widen a bit when I feel a hand on my lower back.

I turned my head slightly to look at chris who was talking to someone else but had a small smirk on his face as he saw me from the corner of his eyes.

“I’m not alone, I have my friends. I’ll be fine, and I’ll come up to your balcony so I don’t wake anyone up” she smiled as she turned around and left.

I turned back around to face chris who was still in conversation with this girl. Alyssa was right, they do always have a girl with them. I waited patiently to tell him that I was leaving.

She left and chris turned back around to me. “‘M sorry, that was my friend madi” he smiled down at me, we were practically touching from how close we were.

“That’s fine, I just wanted to tell you that I’m leaving” I smiled, “let me walk you to your car?” He whispered. I sighed, “I didn’t take my car, I live right along the beach” I never broke eye contact. He laughed and shook his head as he started walking with my hand in his.

It was my turn to laugh, I laughed and started pulling him the opposite direction which made him laugh.

He walked me all the way to my balcony, the whole walk was filled with laughter. He’s literally the sweetest guy I’ve ever met.

“So.. can I get your number?” He looked down at me with a smirk, I nodded as I pulled out my phone and gave it to him. “Are you actually gonna text me sweetheart?” He whispered as he typed, “uh hell yea?” I smirked which he laughed and shook his head. We said goodnight and he left, I turned around and went inside smiling.

I took a shower and changed into a big sweatshirt and just a pair of underwear, I jumped into bed sighing and almost immediately falling asleep
