howdy all! i'm peri, a mod at denouement. (they/it)

i've been rping for a long while now, and writing even longer. i really enjoy playing conceptually weird characters, and i fell in love instantly with denny's myriad opportunities for member-driven development of both characters and the world itself. i have not been on site super long, so i'm absolutely thrilled by the opportunity to help out the team!

Could you do some headcanons about people finding out Chrom!Laslow is a Prince please?

What I love about this is the chain reaction that follows. My personal headcanon for my Fates playthrough has always been Chrom!Laslow, Vaike!Odin or Lon’qu!Odin, and Robin!Selena. I’ve always pictured it as 

“You’re...a prince, Laslow? I feel as though I’ve done you a disservice by having you in my retinue.”

“Lord Xander, I-”

“Brother, I think you’re correct, I mean you no offense, but I would be mortified if I found out I was doing something like that to Odin or Niles.”

“....Lord Leo, um. I am also a prince.”

“....Selena, darling?”

“I’m the daughter of a god, does that count?”

I don’t see a world where Xander in good conscience could keep Laslow as a retainer knowing he’s a prince. He would definitely consult him about knowledge for how to rule, which of course

Leo would start to appraise him a little differently, convincing himself that he always thought there was some sort of hidden depth to Laslow, only to watch him trip and fall down the stairs because he was dancing absentmindedly.

Peri wouldn’t care. She’d mostly just ask if he had any history of killing butlers.

Corrin would be shocked, but then curious if that means the Awakening Trio can use Dragon Veins. They all can.

Azura would ACTUALLY say she always thought there was some sort of regality to Laslow. He was an unsuccessful ladies man, yeah, but that’s a self-cultivated (and self-fulfilling) image if anything. When asked what gave him away, it’s mostly his penmanship, It reeks of “forced to take formal writing classes”

Chance: So, you may be wondering, “How on earth are you gonna show a death battle? Is that not too gruesome for TV?” And I say don’t you all worry your pretty little heads. This battle royal is simulated, meaning the contestants will not feel a thing. As it’s styled like The Hunger Games, the aim of the game is to be the last one to survive! The last contestant remaining will get the Victorious Ones trophy from yours truly!

We’ve sent everyone down into their districts. Before I give the signal for everyone to begin, let’s have a listen in to some contestants thoughts through our live video screen!

Chance: Oh ho! A bit of smack talk from one of the contestants! This will be exciting! I wonder if the other contestants are feeling as confident or whether their nerves are getting the best of them!

(The 200 follower event is a go! Each week, I will post what the simulator mentions on it and add some drawings about what’s happened. As I said, I’m not gonna make them gruesome or serious. It will be in a comedic tone with slapstick-styled “deaths”.

Now that you know the very first pairings, feel free to draw your character either talking smack to the other character in your district or perhaps some other form of dialogue. This is not mandatory in any way! This is solely for a bit of fun before I get to drawing the events that are taking place! I uh. Guess I should explain my game plan for my epprbcu blogs since Miles (bug trio's mod) did, as well. (under the cut)

I don't know if I'm gonna continue roleplaying. If I do decide to stop, it will be on most of my blogs (excluded would probably be the-sun-npc and MAYBE ec-speedrunner, mainly because I love them and they are sillies <2) however, you'd still see me as user shiningnightstars and probably through some anons!!

The main reason I'm hesitating is because I'm gonna be going on some anxiety meds soon to help with, well, anxiety. Hopefully it should help with my ability to focus a liiiittle bit better, and hopefully help me be able to start focus on school and all that. Meaning I should hopefully start to get motivation to draw more and write more, and hopefully I will get motivation to roleplay again.

However, for now I'm on an indefinite hiatus. Feel free to keep sending in asks, but I will no longer be starting any more threads. (I'll probably keep going with peri's ice arc, however, since that's pretty big lore for them and I don't want to hold their lore back. I'll probably keep going with the Jordan interaction, hopefully.)

I am going on this hiatus to see how things go in my life because there's a chance that I could fully lose interest in my characters. I will not delete the blogs, however, for archiving purposes.

For now, this is it. I don't know if I will be able to continue any of my current arcs, but I will try to continue anything else that's big that I was contributing to.
