So one of Nala's dialogue trees involves her mentioning Kiara. This is a kind of "what if" situation, but I like the idea of the ruler actually getting to meet baby Kiara and maybe even help raise her (surely we can be better babysitters than Timon and Pumba... right?)
I’m sure someone else already made this post because there are so many damn edits of this thought. But-
I recently watched The Lion King (INCREDIBLE movie/musical btw) because even though I saw it as a kid like everyone else and their parents in the 90s but I only watched it like three times because my sisters and I were never that into it. I knew the general plot like “Oh Simba will be king Mufasa dies Hakuna Matata blah blah blah” but I didn’t really remember the movie.
So I’m watching the movie with my mom and e we get to Can You Feel the Love Tonight and like. Oh my god. It is SO DAMN REYLO CODED.
“So many things to tell her but how to make her see the truth about my past, impossible she’d turn away from me”
“He's holding back, he's hiding but what, I can't decide why won't he be the king I know he is?The king I see inside?”
Does this not sound like them singing about each other?!? Ben really wants Rey to understand why he is the way he turned out but he’s scared of losing her and Rey sees the good in him and wants to see that version of himself come out. All of this while they fall deeper in love (mainly TLJ) and overall I think it’s one of the most Reylo songs ever like omg-
Not to mention the being part with Timon and Pumbaa totally works with Finn and Poe 😂
Title based on song of the same name from the Lion King musical. Thought it would be fun to draw a scene where Nala leaves the pride lands to find help. There are storyboards of the scene that didn't make it into the movie, but I decided to draw my own version. Of course, Nala is upset about having to leave her home, but knows she will be safer away from it. The colors were pretty fun to do here!
Every now and then I remember the CGI remake of the Lion King and it’s solid cast, and I wish we’d gotten a professionally filmed version of the Broadway musical instead
So here’s Nala and Simba, loosely modeled after Beyoncé and Donald Glover
Simba don't be jealous you are also popular in the lion king franchise also remember who raised you when your father died
You also have a beautiful and wonderful wife who is Nala and you have 2 wonderful children who in the end became king and queen Kiara the queen of priderock and Kion leader of the lion guard and king of the tree of Life
Here's a pic of my ever expanding Lion King shit collection. I've collected old Lion King stuff since I was like, 6 or 7, and I plan on continuing! I know a few things here may not be old, but they are still gonna be added to this collection
Mickey told a joke about the anvil making the Araucanian bird drop an anvil
He mentions Timon and Pumbaa to the guests, making Simba feel jealous, but he shouldn't be jealous, and if it weren't for Timon and Pumbaa, the Lion King would be boring, and besides, they raised him since Mufasa died, and he makes Nala look at him worried
And Donald's nephews are no longer a pop band, now they are rock
Donald tries to greet Mushu but Mushu is very rude to him and leaves after watching the show. Daisy looks for Donald to take the bugs to Timon and Pumbaa to give him bugs because Goofy got stuck in the dishwasher
