Do you plan your meals in any way? Given how little I eat, the concept just sounds so foreign to me. I have one meal daily and just go with whatever's available at home – I don't decide on what I eat until I'm already in front of the fridge or pantry.
Have you ever been front row at a concert? Which one(s), and how was the experience? Just once, when I saw Paramore in 2018. It was incredibly fun, and because of that experience I know I'd still be willing to do it again with an artist I really admire.
Initially it felt daunting because I went alone, but once you're there you realize how nobody really gives a fuck about that kind of stuff – you're all there to have fun. That said I let loose as soon as the band showed up and I ended up having a wonderful time.
What's the strongest earthquake you've ever experienced? I'm just not sure about 'strongest.' I've felt more earthquakes than I can count, but they've all been more or less the same magnitude. There have been earthquakes that last quite a while though and it's those that have made me more nervous than usual.
Do you know your best friend's middle name? Both of theirs, yes.
If you have a passport, where do you store it for safekeeping? I have a mini drawer that stores all the Very Important Life Documents I Should Never Lose, so like my passport, birth certificate, NBI clearance and all that stuff.
What's your favourite kind of juice and when did you last drink some? I'm not a fan of juice.
Were you in the scouts when you were young? I wasn't.
How long are your fingernails right now? They're growing out-ish but they don't look too gross yet. I'd trim them before it gets to that point.
Do you like the Scream movies? I was obsessed with the first as a teenager, but I never held the same attachment with the sequels.
What sort of music have you been listening to lately? K-pop, what a surprise...
Are there any bills you need to pay? Not bills but I do have to pay the balance for K-pop merch I recently got by the 25th.
Have you ever been told you look like a celebrity? Yeah I've gotten Olivia Rodrigo and Frankie Pangilinan who themselves are lookalikes. I've also heard Anna Akana more times than I can count.
How many people could sleep in your home? (Not counting floor space, beds and couches only) Around 10, I'd say.
Are you a fast reader? Yes. I may have dropped reading years ago but I've never lost how quick I can be at reading.
Do you own a leather jacket? No, absolutely no use for it in this country.
Is there a university campus in your city or town? It's not technically in *this* city, but then again the Philippines is relatively super small that Metro Manila, where most of the big universities are, is just a stone's throw away. The university I attended is only 30 minutes away on a good day and I drove to and from home everyday.
Who last called you on the phone? Did you pick up? If so, how long did you talk? Somebody related to work, and no I did not pick up. Besides the fact that I had been driving, I don't appreciate people calling because 99.9% of the time it'd work out the same way if they just texted.
What grocery store/supermarket do you shop at most frequently? S&R.
Do you know how to play the card game Hearts? I don't think I've even ever heard of it.
Are you a more of a light or heavy sleeper? Very heavy.
Have you ever done freelance work? What did you do? I have not.
Name four things you can see right now. My electric fan, pillows, handbag, and TV.
Do you charge your phone every day? Well...yes. I usually do by the end of the day since it's also the time when it typically becomes close to dying.
Is your washing machine currently running? No.
How's your energy levels today? Pretty low.
Have you ever torn a muscle? Nopes.
Do you have any cereal in your house at the moment? As far as I know, no.
When was the last time you went out to eat? Where did you go and who with? Monday, I was with Celeste at S Maison and she picked a Chinese restaurant for our dinner.
Is the street you live on short, long, or somewhere in the middle? Short.
Should you be in bed right now? Not necessarily but this is also the last survey I'll be taking for the day. It's currently 11:30 PM so it's still pretty early, but I do already want to snuggle in bed and start watching IG Reels (my usual pre-sleep routine) but I don't think I'll start trying to fall asleep until 1 or 2.

Achievements this week (January 9-13, 2023):
Got my PRC license, NBI clearance, HDMF MID, and new payroll account
Started work at CC (full-time doctor job), got my company ID and entry card
Received all my requested school documents, cleared from obligations
Received my triple treat rewards from BPI (free 10,000 pesos)
Got hired at a new part-time job (while I applied to everything and keep applying all the time, I'm planning to maintain CC and the two part-time jobs, and let go of the others)
I'm happy. I feel like I'm getting somewhere. I'm technically not being graded and I don't have exams to study for. I can buy things, I can save, I can spend time with my family, I have my friends.
By the way, I found it funny that the background checker moved so quickly. I got contacted by the references I put there that they were called and texted by someone from VS (the agency that does the background check). What a stringent process.

January 12, 2024 9:46AM NBI Clearance Released
I’m so emotional. I feel bad. It’s like nagreklamo ako for nothing. Sorry, Lord :( it’s like having no trust in you. I’ll do better, I’ll make myself at peace sa mga susunod. Maliit na inconvenience lang nagrereklamo na agad ako. I’m sorry po :((( but I’m so grateful na mabilis lang ang process. You’re so good.
Naeemotional ako sa idea na I feel like I’m one step closer to that dream and hindi mo ko pinapabayaan mag isa. I’m sorry if lately nagrerely nanaman ako sa iba. Pls pls pls fix my eyes on you.
Sharing here my daily bible verse for today:
”Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Minsan nafefeel ko nasosobrahan na ako sa pagiging introvert ko, to the point na nalulungkot ako “rare times” lang naman. But never kang nagfail iparamdam sa akin na hindi ako mag isa, and never ako mag iisa sa journey na to. We will get through this together, Lord. For your glory and for Your name alone.

Today we went back to Tagaytay to get my NBI clearance needed for the dorm. I couldn’t sleep last night. Not sure if it’s because of the coffee or because I was anxious about living in a dorm again or because I suddenly got a new job and I don’t know if I’d do a good job or even pass the probationary period. I’m anxious that I might end up with a lot of mistakes and not get the job done properly or I can’t adjust to the work. It’s been a year since I had a job and those free days I had, I spent on lazing around instead of upskilling.
Hay. I just hope I survive. As someone who likes the comfort of her home more than anything, I hope I don’t get homesick.
We also went to SM Dasma and Walter Mart Manggahan to check for cheap phones. I was able to find cheap ones that are less than 8k but I don’t think my dad will let me borrow money for it.
When we left the house, Henny and her babies were outside the chicken pen. They were on the ground. I forgot to put them back inside because I was rushing to go out so when we got back, only one chick was left :( A kid told me that a cat chased all the chicks. I was so frustrated and mad at myself for being so careless. We all waited for the eggs to hatch for almost a month only to be eaten by a stray cat. Henny still has 3 unhatched eggs left. I know she’s getting depressed because this is her third time losing all her babies. She was protecting the one chick that survived. I also can’t believe that with all the noise that the chicken made, they did not check and just went on with their day. Nag dahilan pa itong kapatid ko na natutulog daw siya. Nakakainis talaga.

9:12 am
Still, have windblow.... Will go to NBI,Police and Iqor today... I need to process my clearance...
I need to get a job and I got it but still processing the requirements... In a lil while will be 2024...
The good thing about call center every holiday like these X'mas & New Year, they will give a HAM on everyone every Christmas and New Year! It is really a wealthy industry,in a way...
Yeah! I really love that act of course, giving is a good thing... Appreciation is a good act as well... But I miss the fact that I can really buy a HAM or our family can buy a HAM on our own aside from the HAM given by the call center.
Well, it will be a long journey for me but I hope it will be fruitful along the way...
Advance Merry Christmas, angels...
youtube
7:34 pm
Wow! So, happy what a good Christmas gift to me... I will do my contract signing tomorrow at 7pm...
Wow! Amazing feeling though I still have windblow.... Amazing feeling!!!
Still, working on my clearance here in Iqor but no duty in HR, the guard told me the HR people will usually arrive at 8 pm or 9 pm... Hoping, Ms Lorie or Gerald will be here in a lil while...
My police clearance will be tomorrow...
10:31 pm
Still, have windblow....I'm in the house now, well just done, brushing my baby and done, eating my dinner... I'm somehow tired, I need to get up early tomorrow for my "Police Clearance"...
I got my NBI already and sent it on Conduent... I badly need a job and money...
I need to prepare my mind and everything coz tomorrow is my contract signing in Conduent. About my clearance in Iqor well, Ms MJ and Ms Aya just told me to send a message on Sir Tonx about me declining the rewave and I need to get a clearance from them....Well, it is really good to end any kind of relationship even in Iqor having a good ending coz that is a mature act, right angels???
Letting go and ending things are sometimes not easy but it is the best way to heal... Forgiveness it doesn't mean that we still need to be together...
Time to grow, though....Serious matter,angels...
youtube
11:09 pm
Windblow2x....
How can I just see the sand-dunes now in ilocos? If I don't have money and my Starbucks everyday, a big question mark...
I need to work and save... Yeah! I still like Borgy... But I need to work... I need money...
One more thing, I feel so dugyot or messy or wasted today, I'm really wasted angels...
Merry Christmas my rock...
Yeah! I still feel jealous on things that I don't know, that I must know or should know...
It is just weird if I was mistaken you for someone else???
I don't know... Remember,if you choose Mitch better be in-front of me Borgy though...
I really can't understand the choosing part... But that's LIFE... I have a weird windblow... Bear and Bare with me Borgy if it is still acceptable...
Tumblr media
Bare and Bear with me Borgy if it is still acceptable...
youtube
10:31 am
Done ,getting my "Police Clearance" though people are nice even the Police People but I just wanna make some improvement in Police System... Life could be better if the system is just like in NBI that we can do schedule either a walk-in or on-line...
My experienced yesterday was they asked me to have a registration and I think I forgot my id...
Will go back for my id later before going to Manila...
11:09 am
I need to do a affidavit of lost they got my id but will not admit it... But I will check my bag again...
Can't trust Cavite that much...
This is the first time if I can't find the 3 id's that I gave them, that they said they returned meaning they are not real...
I have to get my university ID, My license and my national ID...
The guy who asked for my ID is gone...
11:40 am
If I can't find it meaning it is intentional, I went to NBI, I went everywhere and other people were truly genuine that they actually returned my ID's....
I want out in Cavite, the guy is wearing a black shirt with a printed "spider" ,that processed my Police Clearance today but my ID's are missing...
11:53 am
Let's take time and will check everything here....I'm really tired, will find my ID and will double check here...
In the house now and in a lil while will go to Manila...
12:03 noon
It is just weird,it is inside my bag now...
Whew! My God I thought I will do an affidavit of lost....Thank God it is here... Less expenses...
Tumblr media
12:13 noon
I suggest that on getting a Police Clearance they should be like NBI, they should have an on-line schedule or for walk-in, the same thing they should have schedule for easy getting of clearance... Or please let's welcome "Fixers" again... I'm truly embracing "Fixers" if I have extra budget or I will prepare a money for my "Fixers"...
Fixers are welcome if people can afford them and if not there is a schedule but they need to wait a lil...
I paid 250 and the real charge is 180 but for some extra charges... Blah2x Yada2x...
I'm not being arrogant here, it is just that I want an easy life if I can but I still need to work... My motto be generous from the heart, if you have extra...
I still need to work for my future and I need money...

From Student to Engineer: The Transformative Journey through the College of Engineering
The College of Engineering provides quality education to its enrollees and takes pride in its leading role in research, development, and the application of technology for the betterment of society. Among its various engineering programs is the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), a four-year program designed to equip students with the technical knowledge and skills needed in the generation, transmission, distribution, and supply of electric energy.
Electrical Engineers are in high demand since they work on the improvement of devices and systems used in our daily lives. Whether it's designing solar-energy systems or enhancing cell phones, Electrical Engineers are the innovators behind these solutions that address the demands of today's society. Consequently, the field requires students to meet the profession's growing needs. Beyond everyday devices, Electrical Engineering extends to a vital role in construction, where Electrical Engineers are responsible for overseeing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, generators, and more.
Student Life
A typical day in the life of a college student often revolves around attending classes, studying, eating, sleeping, and repeating the routine. However, it's possible to enrich your college experience by immersing yourself in extracurricular activities and nurturing your passion for your chosen field of study. When you enroll in the BSEE program, you not only have the opportunity to learn from highly-qualified professionals but also the chance to share your enriching experience with like-minded peers. Needless to say, the College provides numerous community engagement programs and activities for students to choose from.
Furthermore, internships and on-the-job training are integral parts of Philippine college programs. These hands-on experiences play a pivotal role in a student's professional growth, equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills required to excel as Electrical Engineers.
Program Objectives
Students in the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) program are trained in the effective development, design, and testing of electrical circuitry, electrical equipment, and machinery control. BSEE enrollees at Liceo de Cagayan University are met with the following objectives to be completed at the end of the program:
To apply technical skills needed to resolve multifaceted engineering issues and other applications.
To actively participate in applied research on upcoming technology.
To provide needed services to the community.
To mirror in their work adherence to the Filipino and Licean values.
Post-Graduation
After completing the program, students may choose to proceed and attain their license in the field for better chances at employment. Getting your license also broadens your job opportunities. In order to take the licensure exam, graduates must complete the following requirements:
NSO/PSA Birth Certificate
Transcript of Records
NBI Clearance
Community Tax Certificate (CDC) or Cedula
For married female takers, Marriage Certificate
Metered documentary stamp
4 pieces Passport sized photos
The Electrical Engineering Board Exam covers three major subjects, namely:
Mathematics (25%)
Engineering Sciences and Allied Subjects (30%)
Electrical Engineering Professional Subjects (45%)
Conclusion
The journey from student to engineer is definitely not easy, there are various obstacles that students must overcome to achieve their desired professions. These challenges range from passing minor and major subjects to successfully completing the Electrical Engineering Licensure Examination. However, it's not only important to meet the program's objectives but also to savor the college experience. Liceo de Cagayan offers a variety of campus activities, student organizations, and affairs for students across all programs to enjoy and gain a transformative experience.
