because i love queen, i love her to bits and pieces, but for all her Mom Energy she is still actually new at the Mom thing. she has some stuff to learn beyond search inquiries and algorithms. and that opens up to all sorts of delightful shenanigans and the relationship To Be Built There is so wonderful, but rouxls has been here, by any canon or non-canon measure, longer than she has, and i think there is a very sweet bond between a naive, terribly lonely boy with a neglectful (sometimes worse) father and the prideful, terribly lonely idiot who has been put in charge of him, who Had to be there when nobody else was. and of course, this idiot caved. it feels like when you look at who they seem to be as characters, they mutually need each other, and i just think that's a really sweet kind of relationship.

... queen will catch up of course, really it's a learning experience for both of them as rouxls was the same brand of Clueless Idiot she is, he's just ahead of her on the board. he's got notes, she can borrow them. maybe they can study together.

Now he's just a bit younger haha #Details details - Todd would be at around 8-9 months here #Able to hold his head up and sit on his own but not quite to walking and talking fully - more than a little human blob but not a child yet #He just shows up in a little basket on Edgar's doorstep lol is that how it works - it'd be so much worse if it was Nny's doorstep #Edgar gets a call in the middle of the night like ''Uh...........so I think there's a baby'' ''What do you mean there's a baby''#How could they have a baby they haven't even gone on a date-#I also thought a neat way to differentiate (because I always draw Todd as a tiny little chibi baby lol) would be Shmee #Since Nny slices him up when Todd's a kid - would he do the same to a baby's bear? Hhh... I like people I think. I thought I just didn't like people for a long time but the longer I live and the harder I try, the more people I find that I DO like. Some of them are complete strangers. Some of them I've never even SPOKEN to directly. But I look at the way someone posts about something silly, or I stare at a piece of art or drawing, or read a little post that discusses a feeling or experience and it's like

Do you know how beautiful you are? The post you made or the art you drew that you threw out into the wide cavern of the world thinking "oh whatever it's just a little thing I'm putting out there in the void" bounced and echoed and reverberated its way all the way to my little shadowy corner and made me stand in the dark. Made me rise and feel like it could be done. Life could be lived. That all the little scraps of me are in fact a person that can shout and make an echo that reverberates along the world's walls, all the way back to you, or anyone.

All that reverberates that way is so important to me. Don't ever stop sharing whatever you create - you truly can't know how far your echo will travel, or just how beautiful the sound will be when it reaches someone desperate to hear it.

TURTLES BY NIGHT, BABY!

FINALLY WORKED UP THE COURAGE TO POST ABOUT MY AU (but apparently not to draw faces??? idk what happened)

so basically turtles by night is an au of mine in which the 2012 turtles are kraang experiments.

rather than fighting off the kraang droids, splinter (and consequently the turtles) is captured and taken to a kraang facility to be experimented on.

the kraang were working on perfecting the mutagen and had started creating various different strains to see how different balances of ingredients would affect mutation and be most effective in their mission to mutate the planet.

for the turtles, this meant they'd get a little more human.

by night they are the same humanoid turtle mutants we know and love (hence the name), but every morning at 7am they begin to transform into regular humans.

in their human forms they live a relatively normal life -- they go to school, hang out with friends, etc, but they have to be a lot more cautious and keep a lot of secrets, which makes their classmates suspicious.

splinter and the boys beleive that they have done a good job at hiding the truth, but that changes after their 15th mutation day, where they are forced to go out of hiding for a while to save the life of a classmate (and her father).

oh yeah, and the kraang have been spying on them this whole time, too. who would've thought?

hopefully i'll draw more stuff to post... anyways here are some low quality doodles :3

idk guys..... this might be a stretch but i think mikey is michalina's favourite turtle.......
