Alma had managed to catch most of the books in his arms, but a couple had slid off the top of the stack and were on the floor now. If he bent over to get them, he was bound to lose more books. There was nowhere really to set them down either. He wasn't sure how to retrieve the books that had fallen.

When a voice offered to help, Alma turned his head to see who it was. He noticed their eyes first. They were strikingly green. It took him a split second longer than it should have to reply, as he was taken off guard. "Erm, yes please," he said with a nervous smile. "I'd appreciate that."

So many of you claim to love ancient shit but can't even acknowledge the actual living culture of the people whose mythology and classics you romanticize.
