Hey lovelies. I hope you had a fun Saturday/Sunday wherever you are. I know some of you are already closing out the weekend. We made it through another day-- and there's all sorts of action going on across all the platforms. I hope you got a chance to have fun, but also to rest. I know you know this, but even though I do too I often forget it. Rest is so very important. It's so easy to burn out, especially when we're constantly exposed to so much online. I think to myself "oh it's fine I'll just get a few more things done" and then it's suddenly 3 hours later and I've had only 4 hrs sleep in the last 30. Please please please give yourself self care today. Go brush your teeth, or take a shower. If you feel like you can do more, brush your hair, or make yourself a nice cup of tea. Do something for you that makes you relax and feel rested. On your last day of the weekend, make sure to take a few moments to yourself and just remember how awesome you are. You may not feel like it sometimes, but I can tell you now you truly are Awe-some. You bring so much life and love to this world and you deserve all beautiful things you want. Anyway, I'm very sleepy and I'm rambling again (what's new). Sleep well and enjoy your day lovelies, see you tomorrow.

“I think its accurate that there was a significant period of time when Jimin was the member JK was emotionally closest to and Jimin probably felt close to JK as well but I don't think closest is accurate the other way around mostly because of Hobi but also because Jimin acted like a hyung to JK when it came to serious matters and I think he relied on advice on emotional matters from other members not JK. And I think it's pretty accurate that Jimin was probably the one who was organising meetups or whatever which is why they petered out during solo era. JK seems pretty passive in his relationship to the other members. Probably even now with tkk, Tae probably arranges things (even their reconciliation on ITS was mostly orchestrated by vmin) and it probably helps that they are physically just minutes away from each other. Honestly I see so many of my negative traits in JK which is why I always hesitate to attribute his more thoughtless actions to negative intentions.”

While I agree with what they say about how Jimin relates to Jk, I don’t see Jk the way they do. I don’t think Jk is passive in his relationships with the members (or other friends), though there’s little to base this on (which is why I think op is assuming a lot here) there have been mentions of Jk going to the other members rooms (vminhope room, jimin room) and recently Jk was the one who asked if anyone would like to hang out which resulted in the taekookhope live. I just think it’s quite something to think Jk doesn’t instigate hangouts.. like .. with no-one? I don’t think that is true. Jk has moments where he doesn’t want to hang out for sure, but that doesn’t mean that’s always the case. Jk is not a passive person to me, see how often he starts a live, sure that’s from his home, but it indicates him wanting to interact. He asks members to join him in his lives. So, no.. I don’t agree with their take on Jk.

I also don’t see the ITS as Jk and Tae reconciling. If you look at Tae and Jk all throughout 2020, they were already super close. Like, close close.. cudles, sweer looks, lapsitting close. There was no reconciliation needed, since they were not at odds. Even if you think they drifted apart at some point, it was never to the degree that they became strangers or awkward as they want you to believe. The ITS talk was meant for fandom, not for them. You just don’t go from being distant to this in the span of a day…

Classical music. I might not be familiar with some of the names of those masterpieces since I couldn't memorize them well, but it could lift up my focus on working and studying– for example, Ludwig van Beethoven, Paul Lewis, Joe Hisaishi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, De Maynes, etc.

Kpop songs. No reasons should be utter, I have put my heart upon them eversince God knows when and they have given me nothing but magnificent allure. I could say that I am a casual listener to every song they'd release. I am also casual listener of many like ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, BTS, Le Sserafim, NewJeans, BlackPink, Aespa, etc.

Western songs. I also listen to a lot of western songs– and this is probably where my musical knowledge has increased the most as I listen to almost all genres such as pop, hip-hop, RnB, rock, etc. A casual listener of The Weeknd, LANY, Chase Atlantic, My Chemical Romance, Keshi, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Oasis, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Avenged Sevenfold, The Beatles, Green Day, Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, etc.

Japan pop songs. Not only English songs, however I moreover like Japanese songs, specially Japanese pop songs. I also like Japanese songs due to the fact I watch anime. A casual listener of YOASOBI, High Hige Dandism, ONE OK ROCK, LiSA, AKB48, Fujii Kaze, Yuuri, RADWIMPS, etc.

Javanese songs. One of the songs that I often listen to every day is a song in the regional language where I live, that is a Javanese songs. A casual listener of NDX AKA, Guyon Waton, Denny Caknan, Didi Kempot, Happy Asmara, etc.

Indonesia songs. I also often listen to Indonesian songs. And there are many Indonesian songs or Indonesian artist that I know, from happy to sad genres, I listen to them all. A casual listener of NIKI, Pamungkas, For Revenge, Last Child, Fourtwnty, Kunto Aji, Tulus, Fiersa Besari, Nadin Amizah, Ardhito Pramono, Hindia, MALIQ & D'Essentials, Nosstress, Lomba Sihir, rumahsakit, etc.

In the Theater of Life, He Find His Soul's Reflection.

I'm partial to horror and thriller movies which can liven up the adrenaline. Be it some thing which could not be witnessed or a person with cruelty, I'd discover it thrilling to watch. But I like other genre such as Action, sci-fi, and mystery.

I'm a big fan of anime. I find out it content I like to watch them on my free time. The anime that already I watched this far is Naruto, Boruto, Attack on Titan, Haikyuu, Jujutsu Kaisen, Tokyo Revengers, Kakegurui, Solo Leveling, My Hero Academia, Blue Period, Blue Lock, My Name, Chainsaw Man, Wokatoi, Takt OP Destiny, Demon Slayer, Suzume, and lots of more.

I also put my interest in MCU. Their series and movies are amusing. Speaking of the matter, sometimes I also like to read their fans' theories.

Dear bpp, thank you for your sobering response to op's question. I want to get your thoughts on something I've been fearing might happen. In my opinion, the biggest danger for Jikook is not 'will they or won't they' come out of the closet. As you described, why would they desire their family to be ostracized in order to obtain personal 'freedom'. Freedom being in quotes because they would still be hounded for the rest of their lives either way. The biggest danger to their relationship is fans outing them in order to prove a 'ship'. I hope people take note of what would happen if they were to be careless with 'proof'. That was always the one thing that kept me from openly hyping jikook, that is why I support them quietly. That apparently makes me a jikook hater in some circles, but f those people. I'll be there to support KM when they need me to show up.

BTS are public figures who present their interactions with each other for consumption. As much as BTS and more specifically Jimin and Jungkook, are honest about how they love and care for each other, a portion of their interactions are performed. And so, it is expected that fans are at liberty to discuss it. It's the nature of their job and one we all implicitly accept, including the general public who aren't fans of BTS or actively participating in these discussions. That at any given time they are potentially performing their actions offers a sort of plausible deniability. You're right that fans should be careful and respectful when discussing jikook though. It's just the decent thing to do tbh. And yeah, even with all this said, there is some risk that somehow jikook are possibly forced out by a rogue shipper/akgae, and yeah that would be bad. But not impossible to come back from.

Maybe the guys will officially and formally confirm it. Maybe they'll never respond to saying it publicly, and the veneer of incredulity k-pop provides, will remain part of what we mean when we talk about 'the glass closet'.

Taekookers will always be a problem though and that's reason for concern.

Just gonna leave this here for the wanna-be dietitians, the fake concerned anons (we know ya'll are antis looking for validation, Martha, stfu), the ones that "get triggered" about these topics ONLY when its about Jimin.

[In case you're wondering which variety show OP is referring to. I do think they are confusing "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" where JinMin went together---and the BS&T diet was brought up---with Baek Jong Won’s Top 3 Chef King (both shows happened in 2017), where Jin and apparently Jhope? went together, and Jin confessed to having this diet where he ONLY ate 2 packages of chicken breasts (each package had 2 servings) per day FOR A YEAR in order to loose weight until he gave up since he didn’t feel well.]

Another not-so-gentle reminder that Tae mentioned that he was told to loose weight before this recent photoshoot and showed pics on IG of what he ate. But armys weren't concerned, instead they praised him "for his efforts" & "working hard".

JK only drank water for a couple of weeks & worked out like crazy prior to some of the last concerts to the point that RM was worried and talked about it on vlive, but everyone just said "aw, poor kookie" and moved on. Not to mention that RM got DRAGGED for even daring to talk about "JK's weight" when its "none of his business". (don't even get me started on Butter era and that one diet that none of the members knew about and found out during vlive also...)

Jhope didn't eat or sleep properly before Lollapalooza due to stress, too much pressure and whatnot. You could literally SEE how bad he looked in many of the photo updates he put up on ig and weverse. But guess what? No one cared about that "cause he was gonna KILL IT at "Hobipalooza", "The FIRST and ONLY bts member to do so", "What a LEGEND". (And if you look at pics of him a week or two AFTER lollapalooza he STILL looked so skinny you could make out the bones on his arm. Just look up the pics of when he and RM went to see Billie Eillish’s concert).

Even after he himself talked about it on his live and how he only came to eat his first meal when Jimin went to support him. AND EVEN THEN, all you saw in the comments & social media was:

"Aww Jiminie is such a good friend."

"Such an Angel"

"Jimin the best brother"

"Jimin the best human being"

"Be good, be like Jimin".

Oh but when Jimin is the one talking about loosing weight ('cause he gained a bit during the summer). THAT is when the narrative changes to:

"Oh he has an ED."

"He's always SO insecure about HIS BODY."

"Damn those fucking Korean beauty standards are BRUTAL--"

"He's falling back into bad habits."

"I wish i could shake him and scream in his face that he's perfect no matter what."

"Unbelievable, can he STOP?"

"Will somebody PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN??"

Okay so explain to me, how does he have an eat*ng d*sorder when we've seen tons of videos of him (and i'm only gonna count the fancams) since he went to Chicago for Lollapalooza all the way to LA, eating, drinking, feasting, having the time of his life next to Staff members, celebs, producers all summer long.

(The ONLY time we actually saw him "holding back" on eating too much was during the VHopeMinKook live and it was because of Jungkook since allegedly they were gonna eat together after JK came back from working out-post-concert)

Oh no, but suddenly he has a non-existent ED for wanting to loose the weight he gained during the summer. (because he DID mentioned earlier that he gained a bit back then, but like.... that's all of us? We all gained weight during summer lol Even I'm trying to loose the 5 pounds I gained).

Bottom line is... he's a grown ass man (almost 27 was it?), its HIS body, he knows what he's doing and WHY he's doing it. This isn't 2016, the circumstances are NOT the same compared to back then and we need to let that shit GO!

FOR GOOD.

If you really are this easily triggered by someone else actions about THEIR image and body, then maybe its time YOU stood away from social media and get REAL HELP, for YOURSELF.

Have you ever wanted to know what it would be like if your favorite BTS member (as if there is such a thing as a 'favorite' BTS member) were recruited to a secret spy organization? Now's your chance to find out...

This was so much fun! It was fast-paced and full of excitement and danger and thrilling spy action. It was also full of popstar concert vibes. I found myself thinking 'BTS' over and over again and having to convince myself that, no, Winter Young is not modeled on BTS. And then lo and behold I find in the author's note that Marie Lu is ARMY too and was thinking of BTS after all. Ha! I knew Winter's extreme charisma and humbleness and ability to connect with people and pick up choreography and training immediately were familiar. I loved Winter Young as a character. Yes, his resemblance to the various BTS members made me love him more, but he was charismatic and a sympathetic character in his own right and easy to root for. Sydney was cold and hard and buried her vulnerabilities deep behind her walls, but Winter was able to bring them out and make her a more relatable and sympathetic character. They made a fabulous team and I can't wait to see them team up again. I did guess the big bad pretty early on, but it was fun seeing how it all played out. That sort of thing doesn't bother me as I'm there for the overall experience of the story, but for people who want to be surprised by the twists it might be frustrating. Then again, Marie Lu did hide it pretty well. I was glued to the pages the whole time I was reading and there was never a moment where I was bored or frustrated with the story. It all flowed really well and was so fast-paced I never got a chance to breathe and get drawn away from it. I'll definitely be picking up the next one. *Thanks to NetGalley, Bookishfirst, and Macmillan Children's for providing an early copy for review.

Seokjin’s place in BTS is one that can easily translate as emotional security, being the eldest, although he doesn’t quite follow the traditional hyung space, he is most certainly the member all of them can turn to and will be received with open arms (ace op) as for ARMY, Seokjin seems to be a source of inspiration and willpower, seeing his journey as an artist, constantly bettering himself in every aspect he can, and allowing ARMY to draw power from his journey is what he’s meant to do ( ace ow) as for the both of them, BTS and ARMY, Seokjinnie is a wholehearted representation of freedom and excitement that transcends age, he’s the epitome of trying your best to live your own life by your own rules without much care to what could be said about you as long as it makes you happy. Kim Taehyung

Taehyung in BTS is the kind of member that can bring peace to a hectic group of minds running wild, there’s nothing wrong with aiming for more, but sometimes the situation calls for playing it safe and he’s the small voice behind that path of action (2ow rx) when it comes to ARMY, this man is set on sharing his accomplishments with them, making sure we get to see that when you want something and are out to get it, you’ll be successful (i.e. him asking the weverse staff to be able to post videos, to be able to change his pfp, taking on an acting schedule, etc) (10ow) For both BTS and ARMY, he’s a bringer of comfort and compassion, making sure to take care of other members and ARMY as much as he can (Qoc) and another card came up aimed at his place in BTS, Taetae is sometimes prone to be the ‘tipping point’ in BTS, being as drawn to reality as he is, chances are that if he breaks, the whole team might stumble, but not necessarily in a bad way, more like in a way that urges them to take a good look at themselves and sort things out for the better to stabilise themselves (the tower)

• the visual effect is not as strong as the scene.

• The most important part is that after the captains are on stage, everyone has a battle with Acky for a while, then everyone jumps together. In the middle of the first row! ! Then they did a long locking action together, and then Bobo jumped into the middle of the dancers! ! ! I have been looking for him for a long time! This party program group cut off the locking action that everyone started together, and then adjusted the order, which is the last black and white scene we watched, the segment of him dancing in the crowd! ! ! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

The highlight of the sentence weakened a lot. The music in the show is continuous, but the actual situation does not seem to be. Because someone was crying on the stage, the audience was very quiet, and then the music, played (the captains would stand up to say goodbye), Wang Bo picked up the microphone and pinched it off, A night to remember, and the scene was immediately hilarious! ! ! ! ! !

OP went on to say that everyone was dancing. Even them in the audience! 🥲🥲🥲

I think this is the biggest highlight of the whole show. , The ups and downs of everyone's emotions are huge, and the switch of music is also huge! (I remember that when he said that sentence, they played sad music, not the one on the show.) The show was recorded with live audiences cheering together, but it was not played, and the whole scene was turned upside down.

“It still feels weird to think about,” you say, soft voice carrying through the room with ease. They are all listening so carefully that you cannot meet any of their eyes. “That I died, I mean. I’ve had time to rationalise it, but my whole life has been spent thinking one way⎯⎯believing in life and death, mortality, the fragility and preciousness of living⎯⎯but now I’ve been killed multiple times, died naturally a handful more, and so it feels as though the whole world has been skewed and I’m yet to find my balance.”

Your fingers fiddle together in your lap, eyes downcast to the empty soup bowl on the coffee table.

“The story of how I died the first time is kind of a long one. I can’t tell you about the final moments without explaining everything that led up to it, but there are a few years of history to go through. So, if you want me to condense it…”

“We have all the time in the world,” Namjoon assures, and it could be a joke, a satirical remark regarding your current situations, but instead he speaks with the utmost care, as if he is afraid of any wrong word, any misstep. He is telling you that they are patient, that they don’t mind waiting, that they will listen to every word you say. For you.

And it warms that hole in your chest enough for you to meet his eyes⎯⎯all of their eyes⎯⎯and offer a small smile. Then you nod to yourself. This is a story you need to tell, no matter how painful the memories are.

“Two-and-a-half years ago,” you begin, “the Special Warfare Command uncovered the elaborate smuggling operation of North Korean forces. Untraceable men⎯⎯assumed Black-Ops⎯⎯would enter South Korea through other countries using fake documentation. It’s unclear how long they stayed, months or years, but they would eventually kidnap vulnerable children and smuggle them to North Korea via Mongolia and China.

“Unfortunately, it took years to trace the movements of these men to a point where we knew what they were doing and how they were doing it. The SWC eventually concluded that North Korea were kidnapping and training future sleeper agents and spies, and avoiding suspicion by hiding in the Gobi Desert. They had an entire base of operations on a grey-zone of the border between Mongolia and China, and managed to leave no traces of their movements.”

You need to take a deep gulp of air at this point. Up until now, you have merely stated facts; regurgitated information as you have been told. However, you know that everything from this point on will become personal. You try to think back on your years of conditioning in the army.

“It was at this point that my team was requested for the operation. The 707th Special Mission Group has hundreds of personnel, all within two assault companies, one support company, and one all-female company. There are many missions in which female operators are a better fit, this one included, and out of the female company, my team was chosen.

“When I was promoted to Captain, and at such a young age... All I felt was excitement. Excitement for such an honour, for the experiences ahead, for being able to lead my very own team. The women on my team worked so well, too. We had many successful missions, small and big, and we were ready for this operation. We were ready for Operation Fawn.”

The air in your lungs stutters as you exhale, and you try to swallow the lump in your throat. You’ve avoided thoughts of the thirteen women who had become your friends, your family, but now you are submerged in the memories. Both joyous and tragic.

A few of the men around you look as if they want to move forward, to comfort you, but they also know that it isn’t their place to do so. Not yet.

“The plan was relatively straight-forward. We had found the location of the children, and so it was our job to silently infiltrate the site. Remove all hostiles, retrieve the missing kids, bring them back safely. It wasn’t unlike other missions we had completed before, so we were confident that we could execute it without fail.”

Pulse pumping loudly in your ears, heart beating violently in your chest, you begin to see flashes of that night, playing before your eyes without your permission.

“Get down!” A bullet whirs through the air where your lieutenant’s head had just been, close enough to be able to hear it cutting through the air. “Shit,” you mumble to yourself, peeking around the corner of the collapsed wall for the rest of your team, “how the fuck are there so many of them?”

“Captain.” A voice cuts through the chaos, the intercom in your ear crackling to life. “They’re still pouring in - West entrance - all armed. There shouldn’t be this many men.”

You land shots on three oncoming men, their bodies falling to the ground, but they are quickly replaced by more on their way. You have to do something; you can’t allow your team⎯⎯or the children⎯⎯to die tonight.

While your lieutenant watches your back, you fiddle with the dial of your radio, changing to a different channel.

“Command, this is Dragon, do you copy?”

No response comes through, and you’re forced to move from the wall with your gun poised, firing shots at any unfamiliar figure you see.

“Command, this is Dragon, do you copy?!”

A grenade explodes a short distance away, shaking the ground and sending you stumbling.

“Command, this is Dragon, Operation Fawn has been compromised! I repeat, Operation Fawn has been compromised! Delta Team needs immediate backup, over a hundred hostiles, and counting!”

Either the commotion around you drowns out the voice in your ear, or you’ve yet again received no response. You are starting to get desperate.

“Jesus fuc⎯ we’re completely overwhelmed, Command! My team can only hold out for a little while longer, but these fuckers just keep pouring in! Something is wrong, there shouldn’t be this many of them, we can’t fucking⎯”

Somebody tackles you to the ground. Gunshots, shouts, dirt in your face, a hand on your throat. The man on top of you is heavy, but you’re able to roll him off of you and shoot him between the eyes.

The blood splatters across your goggles.

It’s all too much. There are men everywhere, and you can’t see any of your team members throughout the chaos. You can’t get through to your command centre. Everything that was supposed to be easy tonight has gone wrong. Something heavy, and dark⎯⎯something that feels a lot like doom and panic and we’re going to die⎯⎯lurks in your guts, but you can’t think about that right now. You have to find your girls, have to save these children, have to stay alive⎯

Your fist aches nearly as much as your thudding chest.

Images of death and violence fade away as you blink violently, flexing your fingers individually and then all together, mind still scrambled, still alert.

There are hands on your shoulders, solid and heavy and grounding, and a pair of soft eyes searching for yours. All eyes in the room are on you, but all you can focus on is Yoongi, who looks as if he knows, as if he understands.

And there is a fist-sized patch of red on his left cheekbone. God, your fist, his face, what have you done, oh god I’ve hurt him⎯

Cool air blows on the silent tears that stream down your cheeks, your bones trembling with adrenaline and fear and sorrow. He’s saying something, lips moving slowly, but the clouds in your head are muffling everything. His hands move to hold yours.

You recognise the movement of his lips as the words breathe, it’s okay, and you try your best to obey, but your throat has closed up, tight like the grip of that enemy soldier who had held you to the ground⎯

Yoongi brings one of your hands to his chest, pressing your fingers into him, and you faintly feel the thudding of a heartbeat against your palm. Then, he breathes in, slow and deep, and you follow.

In and out, one by one, Yoongi slowly guides you to breathe steadily once again, your chest growing less tight with each shaky gasp. The tears have stopped flowing, and your limbs have calmed into only a slight tremor, and the darkness in his eyes are captivating. You want to lean forward, let them swallow you whole, but you instead squeeze his hands in silent thanks.

“Let’s get you to bed,” he whispers, and you realise that your head has calmed down enough to take in your surroundings. All seven are watching you with a careful and guarded eye, but you find no pity. It brings you a sliver of relief.

Rather than replying, you merely nod your head and allow Yoongi to pull you up onto shaky legs. Exhaustion is already weighing you down, and all you want to do is escape your own mind.

They have been once before. You, asleep in the spare room, and them, huddled together on the lounges. They are worried about you, but they are also much more; the fear in your voice, the heartache in each memory, was familiar to them. As they watched you relive your trauma, they relived theirs as well.

“I’m sorry, I-” Namjoon’s words stutter out, unsure, unplanned, unlike the way he usually speaks. “This is my fault. I should’ve known- it was too early to- and maybe you wouldn’t have gotten hurt...”

“Hey, no.” Seokjin’s hands on Namjoon’s shoulders are as firm as his words, kind eyes seeking regretful ones. “Don’t blame yourself; this is nobody’s fault. She made her decision to tell us. Don’t take that away from her. And we all know that she couldn’t help that reflex. Yoongi’s been hit harder.”

“We didn’t even hear the rest of the story,” Jimin pouts, nibbling his lower lip between his teeth. “Like, how she died, how her team died, what happened to the mission.”

“We’ll have to be patient,” Yoongi sighs. His cheek is already blue and purple, and will probably be fully healed in an hour. “We know the fundamentals, anyway. A mission that was supposed to be clear-cut somehow got turned on its head. It cost her team’s lives.”

“How does something like that even happen?” Next to Jimin, Taehyung’s pout is not quite as full, but still full of the emotions he is trying to keep in. “It isn’t just her team that got hit, but the entire Special Warfare Command. This was a big operation, guys, so something like this should’ve been prevented.”

“Do you think…” Jeongguk is clutching a pillow close to his chest. “Do you think somebody from the inside betrayed them?” Six faces turn to look at him, shocked at the implication, shocked that it makes sense. “I mean, the information about the operation would have been top secret. North Korea has resources, sure, but they shouldn’t have known the when, where, and how of the mission. Somebody had to have turned.”

“Who would’ve done it?” Jimin’s question is not asking for an answer. He feels sick at the thought.

It is at this moment that Hoseok chooses to emerge from his deep silence. When he speaks, his voice is regretful. Knowing. “I think she knows exactly who did it.”
