When I say I dislike Anakin and Anakin/Padme...
You know what crept me out?
In Hostage Crisis of The Clone Wars, Anakin is chilling in Padme's office. He's supposed to be on a spiritual retreat but he prefers to try to convince her to go on a vacation with him.
First, no respect for her work. He's on a vacation. She's not.
Also, no respect for the importance of what she's actually doing. Which, knowing her, is probably saving people's lives. But that's less important than Anakin's vacation?
Second, no respect for his own mental health. Unless, of course, war and death by the millions is a fun time for him and not something he need to meditate over.
And third, he tries to convince her that if she really love him, she will goes along with that he wants (waaaaaaat) because, and I quote:
"Nothing is more important to me than my feelings for you."
I thought, for sure, when he started his phrase, he was going to say "nothing is more important to me than you". Which... clunky, but -okay.
But no.
"... my feelings..."
It's not Padme who matters.
It's Anakin's feelings for Padme.
(Which is so self-centered, self-serving, which resumes Anakin's motivation as a character sickeningly, which is Sith.)
If that doesn't tell you how wrong their romance is, I deeply encourage you to document yourself on what a healthy relationship looks like, because you may need it.
It's not romance.
It's poison.

The wedding must be the strangest the Lake Country has ever seen. Brusque and businesslike. Her bridegroom barely looking at her. His cousin barely looking away.
OR

Din: your sister's husband is a known smuggler, murderer?
Luke: yes
Din: Is your sister a Hutt killer and a senator for a vast Republic?
Luke: yeah
Din: was your mother the Queen of Naboo?
Luke: yes Din, the best queen
Din: Is your father Darth Vader?
Luke: right, you want me to tell you about my family?
Din: no.... i'm already scared, you have such a funny family.
Luke: by the way, I forgot to warn you that my family's best friend is a huge Wukkie who will tear anyone who offends me into small pieces!
Din: you know, one of your sisters was enough for me, who strangled a huge Hutt with chains.

Anakin's Ashes
He found a dry patch of ground and sat to meditate, Anakin’s ashes clutched tightly against his chest. “I wish I’d known you,” he repeated, and closed his eyes to seek solace in the Force.

POV you start dating a he/him lesbian, turns out he's that kid you babysat for like a week as a teenager, you get married. After awhile he finds out you're pregnant with his child, making him so nervous that you Could die in childbirth that he kills you himself and becomes an imperialist leader. And he likes your son better than your daughter for some fucking reason.

Another shower thought. Did Padme Amidala have a regnal name? Or was she just known as The Queen of Naboo (with no name)? Cuz if she didn't have one and she was known as Queen Padme Amidala of Naboo how the F did no one suspect a handmaiden with the same name as her around the same age? Also how did no one recognize her from her campaign for the throne? You can't tell me she had the same level wardrobe. Today's politicians look very different on the campaign trail vs sitting in office.

Ahsoka pulled her cloak even closer to her body, trying to warm up. Slightly bent over, she stood under an archway, partially obscured by the plants hanging from it. Ahsoka looked at the puddles in front of her, which continued to be filled by the rain. The pale light of a lantern reflected on the wet pavement. The skies of Naboo were weeping. A few hours ago, she had hidden among all the residents of Theed who stood along the streets to pay their last respects to their senator. She had learned the news on Atosu. Ahsoka thought about the last days, what had happened during that time....
The starfighter had pushed down the tall grass as it landed, the starship's searchlight illuminating the site. They had reached Atosu at night, Ahsoka was fine with that, this way she would get to the next town unnoticed and not draw immediate attention. Rex stood next to her, the patch on his head still in the one place. By now the wound should have healed, externally...
He noticed her look and Ahsoka smiled.
"Thank you for everything!" she whispered and the clone nodded. She could see him swallow, the time to say goodbye had come and it was hard for her too.
"Will we see each other again?" asked Rex and Ahsoka touched him with her hands to his head, bringing it towards her so she could put her forehead against his.
"Of course!" she replied, soaking up the warmth of his skin against hers for a moment longer, then she let go of him and left. She could feel his gaze on her until she disappeared from the spotlight's cone of light. It took a few minutes, then she heard the starfighter take off and hover over the field for a while longer, but she didn't look back. And then the ship and its occupant disappeared. Her small flashlight showed her the way.
A few hours later, she could make out city limits. She had arrived in town while it was still dark and had found an inn, with a vacant room. As soon as she touched the bed, she was asleep. Her body was reclaiming the strength it had used up in the last few hours.
When Ahsoka opened her eyes, she felt a little more refreshed after her sleep, but the memories of what had happened saddened her again. She freshened up and got something to eat in her room. While she ate, the radio played in the background. Lost in her thoughts, she didn't really listen, only when the name Padme came up, she became attentive. The announcer told her that in a few days on Naboo, everyone would be able to say goodbye to the late senator. The fork fell clinking onto the plate, Ahsoka paused and closed her eyes in dismay.
"Anakin!" she whispered in shock.
"We are again asking everyone who has relatives on Coruscant knowingly and cannot currently reach anyone to come to the administrative offices of their appropriate region!"
Ahsoka's breath caught as she heard the call. Was this a trap for the last Force-intensive who still had hope of embracing their loved ones alive? She glanced at her bag, in it she had stowed a blaster that Rex had given her, otherwise she was unarmed. Ahsoka left her tray with the rest of her food, grabbed her cloak and bag, and hurried out of the inn. The streets were bustling with activity, she looked for an information board and two streets away, she found it. There she learned where the administration was located and set off. In front of a gray building, several people were waiting and discussing with law enforcement officers who had cordoned off the area. Ahsoka stayed in the background, watching like everyone else as a couple came out, holding each other in their arms, crying. Before they reached the perimeter, the man broke away and yelled.
"They didn't leave anyone alive. Everyone is dead who had a gift! They killed our children!"
At first it was quiet, only the woman could be heard crying loudly, but then those waiting began kicking the grille and yelling at the law enforcement officers. Armed men ran out of the building, they grabbed the grieving couple and dragged them along. Again there was protest, the men pointed their guns at the angry crowd and threatened to shoot them if they did not immediately calm down and disperse the gathering.
"You shouldn't be here!" someone whispered, pulling Ahsoka into an alcove. A woman with green hair looked intently at the Togruta. And Ahsoka sensed the connection.
"How?"
The woman looked sad.
"By hiding it for a long time. You're wanted!"
Ahsoka nodded.
"I have to get to Naboo..."
A gunshot interrupted her, plaintive sounds followed by more gunfire. She flinched, but her counterpart shook her head.
"We mustn't..."
Laai, she later introduced herself to Ahsoka, held her by the arm until it quieted. Then she, took her another way to her apartment. Ahsoka was never to see the room of the inn again, but she carried everything she still owned with her anyway. Laai helped her get a flight to Naboo. The young woman wished her good luck and disappeared before Ahsoka could even say goodbye properly. The shuttle to Naboo was full, everyone was talking about the death of the senator. Ahsoka again couldn't believe it, but then she became painfully aware again of what had happened to the clones. Moreover, it became more and more clear to her what she already didn't feel anymore: the other Jedi... Only emptiness....
She arrived exactly on the day when the funeral procession was to take place. Everywhere the flags were flying at half-mast, black ribbons were hanging down, the locals wore dark clothes and held flowers or candles in their hands. All day the sun was shining, warming the planet, and when the time came for it to set, illuminating the sky and the clouds purple, the coffin had already set out. On the water floated the boats, lit with lanterns, on them also those who wanted to say goodbye to Padme. It was so quiet, although so many lingered along the roads. The candles flickered in the gentle breeze and then the clatter of hooves was heard, the four gualaar pulling the open coffin. A whisper went through the rows, quiet sobs and startled sounds, mostly from mothers who saw Padme's bulging belly.
Ahsoka cried, especially when she noticed the talisman in Padme's hands. She remembered an encounter on Coruscant with Padme when the pregnancy was seen more clearly and was also becoming exhausting for the young woman. She had been sitting on a bench, smiling happily at Ahsoka.
"It's kicking!" she informed the Togruta, taking Ahsoka's hand to place it on her belly. Ahsoka felt it too, and much more. But she kept her knowledge to herself and now she thought it must have been a big mistake. Padme's body disappeared from her sight and Ahsoka left the mourners. Walking around the city without a destination, she heard a few chimes from further away. Shortly after, the sky had darkened, it began to rain, first gently, then more and more heavily. As if Naboo was saying goodbye to her old queen and senator.
The sound of the rain brought Ahsoka out of her thoughts. She sat cross-legged on the floor in her room and looked out the open door. The memory of that day of goodbyes had not crossed her mind for a long time. A movement in the distance, Luke was walking with Grogu. He challenged the boy at all hours, no matter how bad the weather. Maybe she should follow him, maybe that way she would find her strength again? But instead she rose and took a seat on her bed. She stared at the two hilts of her lightsabers lying on the dresser. She thought of how she had given the crystals back their purity after defeating the Inquisitor. So much time had passed since then, so much she had repressed, and now it was coming back to the surface. Luke had said that she had to come clean with herself. The Togruta sighed and lay down on the bed. She closed her eyes and hoped to find a solution.
Screams could be heard everywhere, from attackers and the dying. The temple that was supposed to protect everyone had become a place of death. The group of clones moved through the corridors, gunning down everyone. There were many who fought back, but some were also caught off guard and like all the others had no chance. One place in particular was fought over, the Jedi tried everything, but their opponent was outnumbered and against the deadly weapons they could do nothing. As the protectors lay on the ground, their lightsabers extinguished, someone broke away from the group and approached the target. Hateful eyes poked out from under the hood, once friendly.
Gasping, Ahsoka awoke, blinked, and noticed the light touch on her arm. There sat Grogu, looking at her with his dark eyes. He had sent her his memory, a part she already knew from their first meeting. But the new part made her shudder. Why hadn't Anakin had the boy killed, too? What had he intended to do? Had he forgotten him after his transformation into Vader? Grogu looked at Ahsoka expectantly, but she shrugged.
"How could I find my way back?" she asked him, to which she received no answer. Instead, Grogu snuggled up to her, seeking her closeness, and Ahsoka allowed it.

I may not like Anakin/Padme, but this line is excellent:
Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is essential to a Jedi's life.
It's such a line. In another context that would be an excellent no strings attached pick up line.
