ok but can we talk about Naboo pagent culture?
like obviously fashion and music are a big part of Naboo daily life, but also so is the concept of childhood innocence. There’s a reason all of the queens are literal children or vey young teenagers. The concept of imagination and creativity are highly valued by the people of Naboo. And where they see both of these qualities is in their children, the future generation.
so padmè was absolutely a dance/pagent girl. Like she knows how to kick ass and take charge cuz she had to when Jessica was stealing all of Bethany’s solos. She can rule a planet and shoot a blaster and also do a lipsync and dance routine. Long hours at the council? Nothing compared to tech weekends and comp nights. She can put up with the Jedi council and the rest of everyone being divas because she knows! She’s done this a million times over. Also just imagine the little kiddos from all over the galaxy in their little outfits parading around on stage. 🥺

At age 16, Jeanne Crain won a beauty contest as "Miss Long Beach" and became a model; the next year she was named "Camera Girl of 1942," leading to contacts in Hollywood. She debuted on screen in 1943 in The Gang's All Here, beginning a starring career that lasted through the '50s. She rose to prominence through her performance in Henry Hathaway's Home in Indiana (1944). Crain was frequently cast as the "girl next door," and was generally employed to be a "pretty face" in the midst of light films, but occasionally she got more serious roles, as in Pinky (1949) in which she played a black girl passing for white; for that performance she was nominated for a "Best Actress Oscar," repeating a nomination she got for her role in Margie (1946). Her career waned in the '60s, but she continued to appear in films through the '70s.
This image of actress Jeanne Crain was featured on the cover of LIFE magazine on September 30, 1946. The 'Speaking of Pictures' feature illustrated how helium was used to enhance the bubbles in the film "Margie." The Beauty Pagent:
A Cornerstone of Women Empowerment is all about the lesson that was tackled to us and its all about Femimsm. Feminism is about the belief in and advocacy of the political, economical, and social equality of all genders expressed especially through organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests. From what I can understand Feminism can be for men, women, and can be a part of LGBTQIA+ that is why Contestants in our beauty pageant are all male because they are all advocating that real men can dress and act as a women aswell.
Both the difference and similarities in gender equality and equity. Gender equality is about the equality of either genders that makes all genders have the same treatment. Gender equity is all about justice according to natural Law or rights that is specifically freedom from bias or favoritism. The gender equality, and equities similarity is that they have the same goal and that is to make us understand that genders are equal and have freedom in our society.
I am a pro to equality of all genders and I am a Proud Feminism.I do not descriminate nor be disgusted by them as I belleved that it is not wrong being yourself. Gender does not define our identities nor our status or role to our country and it is not wrong trying to be open to our society about our genders, one must be proud of our Genders and Sexualities.
