I was in a syscord server for a little bit and it was around the time that we had figured out that we have ramcoa trauma (terrible time for us).

Coming to terms with it, we saw so many people in this server saying number names should only be used by ramcoa systems. It puts such a target in our backs so no, no, use the number, let me be able to hide in plain sight in a crowd.

There were also so many people saying things about ramcoa and so many people in the server were just spreading things from TikToks and stuff.

I’m not trying to sound gatekeep-y, but trauma isn’t a trend. And some things that I’ve heard are so wild. I understand thinking something and then being wrong about it, but if you’re going to follow it like a trend, dump trauma, trigger others, and then run, that’s so messed up.

This is the same server that has made rules saying that, if something triggers you and it isn’t “a common trigger,” you have to leave the chat and can’t do anything else about it. We have a lot of “uncommon” triggers but still get triggered with all of the fucking Biblical talk that they allow there.

I’m glad I left it cuz fucking hell.

You're right for telling people who have/pretend to have DID to keep their information private. If you're not diagnosed with a disorder like that and you receive tips or other income from people because they believe you do have it, that's fraud, and people like myself love to make sure that people who scam others out of money by lying about having DID get arrested for fraud and theft by deception.

So if you or anyone else is making money from claiming to have DID, you should probably make it harder for us to report you for fraud. It won't matter because you will eventually be found out and arrested, but since it's such a common scam now....

Idk, either you and people like you can stop lying and scamming people, or try a VPN to see if it prevents any consequences to your actions. It won't, but you can try.

Hi there anon. Who exactly are you addressing with this ask? I don't know who you mean with "you and people like you".

First of all, I make posts about Internet safety and privacy because a great proportion of people in online OSDDID and RAMCOA communities are minors or vulnerable in some way. Lack of information safety has been a massive problem in these spaces for years. I want people to be safe online and save themselves the trouble of broadcasting their trauma to Discord servers full of strangers. I don't encourage Internet safety so that purported "scammers" can prevent consequences of their actions.

I have a few years' experience in scambaiting. Since when is faking DID "a common scam" and since when are people getting arrested for it? I'm pretty sure the authorities are more concerned about bank fraud, hacking and ransomware, money transfer scams, and scam call centers impersonating the IRS, Canadian Revenue Agency, the FBI, Homeland Security... the list goes on.

Look, even if I was faking a horrific trauma-based disorder, I wouldn't be making any money off of this blog. Have you heard of DissociaDID, though? Prolific DID (and other disorders, like CFS and PNES) faker who makes a living off of it.

I am begging all of you to stop using carrd co links as sources for RAMCOA. I am begging you that if you have Just Recently figured out you have RAMCOA to stop labelling yourself as a resource of all things.

You are not a resource, you are Some Guy. You are also Some Guy that JUST came to this conclusion and with 0 experience in the recovery aspect of it. That carrd co link you all keep passing around was made by a goddamn 16 year old who got their info from Discord servers populated largely by other teenagers, none of which have actual experience in recovering from programming. Even if you have programming (which is a SPECIFIC experience within RAMCOA and that not even most RA/OA survivors have) you are not the end all be all of how it presents and what things exist in it.

we’re in a big server with a ton of endos and its so uncomfortable 😭 they constantly “sys hop” to each other to flirt or front in each other’s systems and its like “you guys literally talk the same. [x] from [y] system talks the same as [y] from [x] system nothing changed you just registered a bot for the other person.”

and its also frustrating for a silly reason. like watching them giggle and kick their feet over “u should open ur gateway again i wanna see my little sunshine pookie wookie” (exaggerated but still) and it makes us upset because why cant WE visit our partner systems… like i know its not a real logical thing, you cant jump into others consciences, but damn sometimes it makes me think im doing something wrong

on a funnier note we tried to genuinely ask about syshopping and how they do it and ladada and lo and behold they basically went “just imagine youre somewhere… no not like an ACTUAL place… its like really hard to explain sorry :/“ and ignored further questions (its obviously not hard to explain if they’d managed to wrangle ~4 other endos in that server alone to do the same thing)

I really hate that endos still use a term meant for RAMCOA systems. It was meant as a term for anyone high enough (such as gatekeeper, communicator [what we call them], etc.) to be able to communicate and inform sub/side systems what’s going on and to report back on what’s going on.

Like… it’s not supposed to be “oh, yeah, I can travel to someone else.”

If you want to fucking role play with your friends, do so. Stop taking community terms away from us.

And, yeah, it would be nice for those that can’t see their partner systems to be able to see them, but it’s impossible to unless it’s in person/through call (which sucks).

Endos can’t even back half of their claims up, I’ve grown to realize that. They want to say one thing and they know that it’s not possible but they want to continue saying as such.

On expression of trauma in childhood through creative means

(CW/TW: Abuse, Torture, Trafficking, etc.)

I've seen lots of survivors of various kinds of abuse, particularly RAMCOA, post recently about how either one of the first signs they were abused in that way, or something they rediscovered/recalled later on, was that during childhood they often re-enacted traumatic scenarios or scenarios similar through games, or playground role-playing. Expression of trauma and abuse through creative means is very common in childhood - scientifically, it's more difficult for anyone to express their trauma through verbal means than it is through art, or etc, and this is the basis for art & play therapies commonly used with children and younger patients. It's a recognised phenomenon in psychology that there are certain markers in children's art for trauma, as it alters one's self perception to go through these experiences, especially in youth. So, in reference to RAMCOA/OEA in particular - recreating these situations in childhood games is perfectly normal, and if you feel this is an experience that resonates with you, you're not at all alone.

RAMCOA changes one's perception of what is normal, and intentionally so, and so to see a child express this through games which would ordinarily be much more domestic - like playing house, whereas a survivor might reenact a scene of torture, or an imagined trafficking ring - is a child survivor expressing a scenario which is normal for them without having to acknowledge it verbally through any means. This extends again to art, and writings, etc - if you look back on the "ordinary" parts of your childhood, and feel the trauma bleeds into those regardless, this is perfectly normal. Even if you feel that at the time you shouldn't have known about those things, or that you didn't see them with nearly the weight that they should have carried - all of this is okay. Everyone works things out at their own pace. All of us survived.

i was talking about be kind my neighbor in a server with some people a while ago and i was mentioning how much i loved the ramcoa representation with wegg and someone mentioned "yeah but i dont like that neighbors cult is seen as the good one and we're just supposed to accept that and be okay with the things they do" but then i got thinking and i realized okay thats a good point! but lady trudys cult isnt realistic at all, its a very stereotypical and fantastical depiction of a cult. they make blood sacrifices and speak in tongues and make deals with a godess who gives them whatever they please! these are all very common tropes when dealing with cults in media. but the swans are realistic. they manipulated and love-bombed wegg only to ruin his life and leave him traumatized and physically scarred. that is a very realistic experience. his breakdowns and his trauma are incredibly well written and realistic. and i realized- the whole deal is that its expectation vs reality. neighbor and lady trudys cult are what youd expect from a cult based on whats shown in media. you expect murderers, you expect candlelit sacrifices, you expect the speaking in tongues. but the reality is what you get from wegg and the swans. you get a man who is a literal shell of his former self and is heavily traumatized. you get a cult that relies on building trust before betraying you, leaving you confused because they loved you and you love them, so theres no way they would hurt you like that. you get a cult that you dont realize is a cult until after you leave.

anyways sorry for rambling. i thought it was interesting.

do you have any idea what programming terms were mid defined by legion? i probably need to edit our ramcoa information document since most of the definitions were taken from the document

Yeah... this confession is sus...

Here's an anon sent into a confession blog. Which means for one thing, there's zero reason to trust this account of events.

There's no information about when or where this happened. What was the website? What was the year?

Actually, they claim there were "so many resources" so were they just... all consolidated onto one website by one group of people? One website used it. And then when it broke up... everyone who used the term just changed their language and stopped using it until Nel in 2021 brought it up? (Despite Nel not knowing any RAMCOA systems who use it.)

It points blame vaguely at members of the "endogenic community" but the term "endogenic" itself didn't exist until 2013, 8 years after system hopping was first used for travel between different bodies.

And why did members of the endogenic community supposedly try to harass and dox these people?

Actually, how did they find these people to begin with? Other versions of the story trying to explain why there is no record of RAMCOA systems ever using this term before 2021 claimed that it's because the community is just THAT super secretive and tight-knit that everything is confined entirely to private servers which... doesn't jive with this new telling if these spaces were supposedly infiltrated by evil endogenic systems looking to destroy the innocent RAMCOA survivors because reasons.
