Summary: You finally meet Keira Walsh

You've spent the weeks running up to the group stages of the World Cup with the Swedish girls - for one of the first times in your life - but you flip flop between Morsa and Momma when you want to.

This is one of those times.

Momma's been put into a group with England, meaning Leah's team, meaning Keira Walsh.

It was a struggle this morning for Momma to put you in her Denmark shirt instead of a Keira Walsh England one.

Your Denmark loses and, even worse, Keira Walsh goes off injured. Your grandparents cover your eyes when it happens so you don't see her get stretchered off but you remain antsy the entire match afterwards, especially when Momma gets into a few scrapes herself.

You're allowed out of the box and onto the pitch when it's over and you tentatively approach Momma, pulling on her shorts.

"Does this mean Denmark stops playing?" You ask, biting at your lip.

"No, princesse," Momma says," So long as we win our next match, we can finish second in the table and get through to the knockouts."

You nod, pulling at your jersey. "So you're not too sad?"

"Only a little sad," She confirms, taking your hand with a smile," Come on, princesse, I think Rikke has some skildpadder just for you waiting in the locker room. How about we go eat our feelings?"

You smile as Momma brings you into the tunnel. "Morsa says that's unhealthy."

Momma winks. "I won't tell if you don't."

You giggle and nod, holding Momma's hand tightly just in case she really is upset about the loss and needs comfort.

"Luce!" Someone from the England side snaps," I can walk!"

"You're on crutches!"

"Yes! And I can walk!"

Momma seems a bit confused at the upset and hurries you along a bit quicker, hand moving to your shoulder to force you ahead of her and further down to the Denmark changing rooms.

"Hey! Wait! Harder, wait up!"

Momma stops, shoving you behind her a little bit. When you peer out from behind her legs, Keira Walsh is standing there. She's on crutches and looks to be in quite a bit of pain.

"Keira Walsh," Momma says neutrally, still keeping you pinned to her side," How is your knee?"

"Not good," Keira Walsh replies," It'll get better." She seems a bit distracted and she smiles down at you before looking over her shoulder. "Luce, G, mind helping me out here?"

Lucy Bronze and Georgia Stanway (you recognise her because Momma says that she plays at Bayern, where you all are going to be moving to after the World Cup) hold onto her as Keira Walsh takes off her shirt.

She smiles at you again. "Hi," She says," Er...Aitana sent your mums a picture with me in it. I...er...I heard she sent you some of my shirts as well."

You nod, stepping out from behind Momma.

"Well...here, I'd like you to have this one too."

"Really?"

"Course. Anything for my biggest fan."

You take the jersey and Momma helps you put it on.

You look up at Keira again, smiling. "Thank you."

Keira's smiling at you too even though she looks unsteady on her feet. "You'll have to return the favour one day, huh? When you're playing in a World Cup, I'll want your shirt too, okay?"

"How about that, princesse?" Momma says. She kneels down next to you, a hand on your shoulder. "Keira gives you her shirt now and you give her yours when you play at the World Cup. Seem fair?"

You nod. "Yeah!"

"I'll look forward to it," Keira says," I think that I'll be your biggest fan when you're older."

Your face grows a little bit red under the praise and you shift on your feet a little bit to dispel your excitement. "I don't know if I can give you my jersey when I win," You say a little apologetically," Because I already said that I'd give that to someone else. Maybe when I beat England though."

Keira laughs. "That's good by me."

Georgia Stanway laughs too. "It won't in a few years when she's scoring past us."

"I don't score." You shake your head quickly. "I save. Like Zećira."

"A keeper then," Keira says," Even better. I've never had a keeper shirt."

"I'm gonna be the best keeper," You say.

Lucy Bronze laughs and yells out," Oi! Mearps! Take off your shirt!"

Mary Earps, who has begun to make her way down the tunnel, frowns. "That's a terrible pickup line."

"Not for me," Lucy says," For Pernille's kid. She's going to be a keeper when she grows up. Says she's gonna be the best."

Mary Earps is a very good goalkeeper and, a bit like Keira Walsh, you're slightly star-struck. She smiles easily at you though and strips her shirt without a second thought, passing it over to you.

"Thank you," You say, practically whispering as you hold it tight in your hands. She's smiling at you and you feel a little bold wearing Keira's shirt and holding Mary's. "I'm going to be better than you."

It sets off a howl of laughter from Lucy and Georgia and a wry smile from Keira.

"God, I hope so, kid. I'll hold you to that."

"I will!"

Mary laughs too and crowds into your space as Momma snaps a photo before sending you off to the locker room to have your skildpadder.

"I think you all just made her week. It's all she's going to be talking about. I don't know if she'll sleep tonight."

Keira winces. "Sorry."

"Don't be. Magda's got her tonight."

"You did really well," Remus says. He's still holding your hand, though your grip has loosened significantly since the nurse left to get you some meds to take home. "Honestly. No one has ever been so brave whilst getting stitches."

You can't help it -- you pout. You're feeling massively sorry for yourself because you vaulted over your bike handles and consequently have a deep gash on your forehead. Your t-shirt is ruined because 'head wounds bleed a lot, love,' according to the nurse and you're sore in multiple places. You're going to have bruises and scrapes for weeks.

"Don't make fun of me," you grumble. Remus kisses the back of your hand. He'd been very worried but calm when you'd called him from the side of the road on a stranger's phone. You suspect he broke multiple traffic laws to come get you but he won't fess up to it.

"I'd never," he says. "I'm telling the truth and you know it. You were telling her jokes as she was stitching!"

You look up at him. He's still standing next to where you're sitting on the hospital bed. It's a noisy room -- you're behind a curtain but feet away someone else is moaning about their stomach. Someone is hiccuping a few beds down. You're a bit overwhelmed and would like to go home and cuddle with your boyfriend as thanks for taking you to A&E.

The florescent lights make his scars look more serious than they are. Your gaze traces the one that goes across his nose.

He catches on. "Are you worried about the scarring?" You duck your chin, embarrassed. You've never thought he was anything less than the most handsome person you've ever seen. You've traced every single one of his scars, kissed them, heard his stories. How rude of you to be vain about a small one on your forehead?

"I...maybe? Is that okay?" Remus taps your chin with a knuckle.

"Darling, come on," he coos. "You're perfectly allowed to be worried about your own face. I bet it'll be light enough that you can cover it, if you want. The stitches looked really good."

His thumb ghosts along the outer edge of the bandage. "I love yours," you say quietly. "You know that, right?"

"I do," he says. He moves a bit so he's in the space between your knees, letting go of your hand so he can frame your face with his long fingers and wide palms. "And I will love your itty bitty one that you got because you lost a fight with the pavement, whether you cover it or not."

You blow a raspberry at him. "The boys are going to make fun of us for matching, I bet." Remus presses a kiss to the uninjured side of your forehead.

"They can make fun of us all they want," he says, rather primly. "They haven't got a hot partner with a forehead scar."

Sukuna x reader

Warnings: slight OSHA incompliance. A bit suggestive, overall sfw. Mentions of blood and injury. Just some monster boyfriend Sukuna licking your wounds. Reader is gender neutral

Synopsis: "he's a ten but he licks your wounds" but with Sukuna ksgdkdhk

Word count: just over 700 :)

A/n: this was a drabble I started a few days ago that I never really intended to post but all this talk about Sukuna today gave me the motivation to finish it kshdkfhk

"Let me see your wound."

The fire has died down, leaving only embers. Despite this, the room is quite warm. In a bit, you should get up, and throw some more logs on the fire, but lethargy prevents you from doing such. Instead, you stay seated on your spot on the floor, picking at the loose threads of the mat. At one point in time, you were polishing your blade; but the weapon has fallen abandoned by your side.

"I'm fine," you say, "really."

"I could smell your blood from down the hall," he says. “Let me see your wound.”

It's an order, not a question. Sukuna motions for you to sit beside him on the bed. And although you’re not a small person in either stature, or build, you’re nearly dwarfed by the King of Curses.

“Yes, well, it turns out the locals don't take too kindly to visitors,” you say, clutching your injured arm.

You feel his breath across the bare skin of your neck. Blood has seeped through your thin, white shirt. When his hands move to the knot at the front of your shirt, undoing it, you do little to resist. The fabric falls off your shoulders, before getting caught on your elbows. On instinct, your arms cross in front of your chest. Across your shoulder, no longer than the length of your hand, is a cut. It's not deep enough to require stitches, but it’ll leave a scar. The bleeding has mostly stopped, but some blood still seeps from it. The awkward position of the cut has left it difficult for you to treat yourself, but asking for help from someone else is out of the question. So you had simply returned to your room, to wallow in your own pity.

“I should have sent Uruame.” He says. “There was no need for you to get injured."

What's gotten into him lately? First, the night down by the river, now this?

Either Ryoumen Sukuna is getting sentimental, or you're looking too hard into this.

The latter seems more likely. But the King of Curses has had a more human streak as of late. Not out in the nearby villages, where he kills and plunders to his heart's content, but within the stone walls of his shrine. Nights by the fire were shared. Plenty of alcohol flowed.

Sukuna was human. At one point in time. Perhaps a shred of humanity still exists within him. It may be shriveled, and dying, but it’s there.

"I'll live." You say.

And really, you will. It's only a flesh wound. The scar it'll cause will barely be worth telling a story about. You've received worse injuries for less, and come out on top every time.

Some day your luck is going to run out. Until then, you’re content to live as you please, free from any human society that exists. You, much like the King of Curses, are content to live to your own devices.

The feeling of a hot tongue against your skin is nearly enough to make you scream. Your eyes go wide. Goosebumps rise along your arms. Instead of swatting him away, which you very much want to do, you allow Sukuna to lap at the blood that drips steadily from your wound. Whether his saliva actually holds some strange healing property, or it’s simply a trick of your mind, you’ll never know, but the ache in your shoulder subsides slightly.

“That was reckless.” He scolds.

Something burns at your face. Perhaps it’s shame. Maybe embarrassment. You never get the chance to answer him. When he kisses you, a faint metallic taste lingers on his lips. In that moment you feel something strange within his touch. Something human. It's almost as if he’s afraid.

Impossible, you remind yourself. He doesn't feel fear.

“Lay with me,” he says softly, “just for a bit.”

He's asking this time, not commanding. Sukuna doesn't need to sleep—not in the way humans do. This bed was merely here for decoration, and a soft surface to fuck on—until you came along, and claimed it for yourself. Yet you allow yourself to give in, laying back on the soft mattress as he curls around you.

⤷ uzui tengen. shinazugawa sanemi. rengoku kyojurou. tomioka giyuu. iguro obanai. tokitou muichirou. kochou shinobu. kanroji mitsuri.

note : i love writing for kny so ty for this ask

warnings : this does have a few spoilers for Muichirou's backstory and Shinobu's story

❥ UZUI TENGEN

Much like he originally felt for Nezuko (and still kind of feels), he doesn't actually believe that demons have the ability to not be murderous, evil creatures. But he can't really go against Ubuyashiki's words, either and is left with little to no choice but to accept your existence.

Tengen makes sure to keep you away from his wives when he first met you, to ensure you wouldn't harm either of them. So you won't meet either of them for a long time.

On that note, he does end up spending a lot of time with you to make sure you don't end up hurting any innocent people. And you're both polar opposites. You're very laid back and go-with-the-flow type of person, while Tengen is the type of person that makes his own flow.

Eventually, he might grow to see you aren't really harmful he might introduce you to his three wives, and the four of you get along rather well. After that, Tengen takes it upon himself to make sure you don't end up eating someone and getting executed, and he makes sure that no demon slayer tries to kill you.

❥ SHINAZUGAWA SANEMI

Absolutely not. He is by far one of the character's who has the least faith in you, and he really does want to throw you into the sunlight and watch you disintegrate and die a painful, horrible death. Unfortunately, he isn't actually allowed to do that. The only way the two of you will ever talk is if Ubuyashiki makes Sanemi watch over you.

He isn't happy about that, and eventually he will use you as a training dummy for all the slayers he's training during night, partially because he wants you to get tired, then hungry, which will leave you to going super hungry and attacking someone, since then he can kill you. The other half of him is doing it because he hopes one of the rookie slayers will accidentally actually kill you.

On that note, he 'accidentally' cuts himself a lot when you're around, trying to tempt you with his blood. He does it even more often when you're tired. He tries really hard to break you into starvation so he can have a reaosn to kill you.

And he isn't happy that you don't give in to temptation. You're totally chill about helping him 'train' the slayers, and go along with almost all of his demands. Occasionally, when he cuts himself, you offer to help him fix it. He agreed the first time, thinking that being super close would make you lose it, but no. Sanemi.. well, he probably won't come around for quite some time but eventually, when he sees that you really, really don't seem capable of hurting anyone.

If you get to that point, he'll still be loud and rough, but he'll start giving you more time to sleep so you can regain energy. If you still like eating human food despite being a demon, he'll offer you to have some of the food he prepares himself. It'll take a long, long time and a lot of patience on your end but he might end up doing more to avoid you eating humans so you won't get killed.

❥ RENGOKU KYOJUROU

When you're brought in to be tested to see if you really aren't a human-hungry demon, Kyojurou is a bit more accepting then he was the first time around. He's seen Nezuko putting her life on the line for humans, so he is aware that it isn't impossible, just really rare.

If you do pass, Kyojurou will offer to take charge and have you stay with him. He's capable of defending civilians from you, and he can defend you from slayers that don't know any better. With that argument, Ubuyashiki is very likely to let you go to the Rengoku estate with him. There, you'll likely meet Tanjirou and Nezuko, alongside Zenitsu and Inosuke. He's certain that you and Nezuko will make good friends, which is why he wanted the both of you to meet!

Kyojurou is much more likely to be friendly compared to a lot of the other pillars, so you both get along rather well! While most might find your too laid-back attitude to be strange, he doesn't think much about it. As long as you don't hurt anyone without reason, he is more than happy to be friends with you, and he does his absolute best to ensure that nobody harms you, either. After all, he'll protect all those who are innocent.

❥ TOMIOKA GIYUU

Giyuu is also one of the pillars the most likely to accept a demon in the ranks. He's already put his life on the line for one friendly demon, and he is willing to do it again. As long as you stay true to not harming humans, he is 100% okay with your existence and will make sure that nobody tries to hurt you, and he won't hurt you either.

But he's also super anti-social, and he won't try to engage in a conversation with you either. He doesn't offer to watch you or anything. Odds are, you won't talk until one of the more friendly pillars gets you both in the same vicinity to talk. If the both of you stay in touch after that, it's highly likely you're the one doing most of the work.

Giyuu probably won't open up until after a while, but if the both of you end up growing closer then he'll probably try to put more effort into being friends with you. He might even find a way to carry you around during the day, if you want that.

❥ IGURO OBANAI

He is second place in hating on demons, behind only the one and only Shinazugawa. And with that, he does not support you being alive and he is highly likely to aid Shinazugawa in trying to end your life in some manner. But alas, Ubuyashiki will not allow it and there is nothing he can do..

The most likely scenario where the two of you even start talking is through Kanroji. If it's for her, Obanai is willing to deal with the existence of a demon. She's really the only way the two of you can build a relationship that isn't hostile. In all honesty, Obanai kind of hates how laid back you are. Don't you care about anything? He's sure he could try and kill you and you wouldn't care at all. Maybe you wouldn't even fight it.

Obanai won't actually ever come around, not unless he's dying and even then, he probably won't. He can't find it in himself to hold any real sympathy for a demon of all things. But with the help of a certain love pillar, he might be willing to try and make things less hostile between the two of you. He still thinks you're strange though.

❥ TOKITOU MUICHIROU

If it's before he gains his memories back, he won't even bother trying to remembernyou. He'll forget you, so he doesn't care about you at all. The others can do whatever they want, he has much more important things trying to do. Like looking at the clouds. And remembering where he lives.

If you meet after, he'll probably be really accepting. He wishes he would have talked with the Kamado siblings more before the whole events happened, so now he wants to be your friend! He will absolutely make you meet Tanjirou and Nezuko. You're both demons so surely you'll get along? You're both very open minded, laid back people and the two of you will probably get along great. And if you do end up becoming close, then Muichirou is a total sweetheart.

He definitely wants to get you a box so he can carry you around like Tanjirou does with Nezuko. He'll also make sure you get plenty of sleep to recover so you aren't super hungry. He will also defend you from the likes of a certain wind hashira. He definitely wants to turn you back into a human, too, so that he can see what you were like before you were turned.

❥ KOCHOU SHINOBU

Shinobu has unsure feelings about you, much like she has with Nezuko. She knows from experience that really rarely, demons can be very sweet. And she wants to be friends with you, but she is so angry with demons that it makes her blood boil.

This is why she introduced you to Tanjirou and Nezuko. He's already agreed to take upon the dream her sister had to have a world where demons and humans can live together, and between you, Nezuko, Tamayo and Yushiro she has a little hope for such a world. Therefore, Shinobu is quite protective of you. She makes sure to keep you away from sunlight and any wisteria poison, alongside any nichirin blades wielded by people with malicious intent. She makes sure to keep you safe and healthy, without eating humans, so she insists that you sleep a lot.

Even so, there will always be that bitter resentment stuck with her. Angry at the way almost everyone she loves was killed by demons like you. She's too far gone to truly forgive demons, but she will make sure you don't know that. She makes sure you're okay, so keep her sisters goal alive.

❥ KANROJI MITSURI

Mitsuri is on board. If this is what Ubuyashiki wants, then she's all for it! And while she has only ever met one not violent demon before, she is best friends with said demon. Nezuko has to be one of the most adorable, precious people she has ever met and she's sure you're like that! Any demon that can fight against their instincts are super brave and strong, and it makes her swoon.

She'll absolutely see if she can take you under her wings. And she'll most likely be granted permission, so there is a high chance you'll be staying in the love estate with her. She also had to be one of the best roommates. She'll make sure no sunlight can get into the estate so that you're safe, and makes sure that nobody does anything to hurt you. She'll often invite you to bake with her, and if you're into that kind of thing, she'll let you do her hair! You both have a lot of fun with games she comes up with, and she adores your laid back and friendly attitude. If she gets the chance, she'll certainly introduce you to Nezuko and Tanjirou! The Kamado siblings are the cutest, aren't they?

You'll both probably get really close in no time, and you'll most likely often listen to her as she rambles on about how amazing the people in her life are. She talks a lot about Obanai. You probably know him way better than he wants you to. She might help you write a letter to her sisters! She's sure they'll love you! You're her new best friend, and she will fight anyone who tries to hurt you.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) He can be a little creepy about it at times. Lurking around, watching you, creeping closer only to grab you with his gnarled hands and coo about what a cute little thing you are...

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) Talbot doesn't really do 'friends'. Although he might often come across like his brain melted along with his face, he's still highly intelligent and prefers to use others who can keep up with his experiments and plans. Helping him further his work is the only use he has for you, but if you can't do it intellectually... how would you feel about being a test subject?

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) Talbot really isn't much of a cuddler, although he might pet your hair and call you a good little test subject... if he's started to feel soft towards you anyway.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) Blight has never considered 'settling down'. The best he can do on that front is becoming so embroiled in his research and experiments he forgets to leave his lab for several weeks...

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) Come here, he just wants to talk! Don't mind the rather large syringe full of bright yellow fluid behind his back! Hahaha, that- that's not for you! It's just... just stop asking questions and hold still.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) Talbot will turn on you for a klondike bar if he thinks it'll help him further his research. Marriage? Laughable. He doesn't have time for that.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) Some of his work requires an incredibly delicate and precise touch. That doesn't mean he'll use it on his test subjects, whether or not you're his favorite one...

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) Talbot is not a hugger. Hugging him will most likely cause him to go stiff as a board.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) He can occasionally be heard crooning such sentiments at his pustula flowers. It's... weird. It's very weird.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) The only thing that really makes him jealous is when someone makes a breakthrough he himself was attempting to reach before he does.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss their partner? Where do they like to be kissed?) .......Considering his jaw has melted, he doesn't really kiss. He doesn't particularly like to be touched either, so receiving kisses is a rare allowance.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?) He isn't fond of them. They're small and far too fragile. They make awful test subjects.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Did he even sleep? Probably not. But your morning will be spent being studied, poked, prodded, and eventually fed if you do a good job.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) See how mornings are spent with him. It's pretty much the same thing, unless he actually makes time for himself to sleep... or he gets high on opium and passes out somewhere.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) Talbot talks to himself very regularly, as well as writes extensive detailed notes about everything. If you can decipher any of it, chances are you'll be able to start piecing together his life's story. Don't expect him to actually tell you anything though.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) Talbot has a very strong distaste for people he thinks are stupid (everyone), people who question his ideas and plans, and people who don't get his vision, and people who touch his equipment. In short, it's not hard to make him mad.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about their partner? Do they remember every little detail they mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) His notes are meticulous to the extreme. It doesn't matter if it's something seemingly insignificant or not. If he's heard it, he's going to write it down. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll remember it off the top of his head, but he can check his notes if he feels like he's forgetting something.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in their relationship?) When you didn't die after the first injection! Good job, test subject! You're already well on your way to becoming the favorite around here!

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect their partner? How would they like to be protected?) The only thing he's protective of is his work. Depending on how much data he would lose if you die will severely affect the effort he puts into protecting you. Now, he may throw you out there to fight whoever comes after him as a test to see just how effective his latest serum is. Don't die.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) Happy one year as a test subject! You get a cupcake for not dying! Of course it isn't laced with experimental drugs! Don't be silly... Now, how do you feel? Hmmm, that's not expected...

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) His blatant disregard for human life, ethics, and safety are all pretty bad.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) Before becoming an insane deranged servant of the Entity, he did try to keep up a professional appearance. He had investors whose pockets needed lightened, and looking like a ruffian would be a step in the wrong direction. Now that he's... what he is, he no longer cares about looks or money.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without their partner?) Bah, he can find another test subject easily enough... Whether or not they manage to spark the same underlying affection he held for his past test subject is to be seen. Assuming they survive long enough to get that far...

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) Grimes has never really believed in any from of animal testing. Not because he really cares one way or another for the well being of the animals, but because it seems pointless to waste time developing something that's intended for humans without testing it on humans. Cut out the middle man, and achieve success that much faster!

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) He has lots of tests to run and many questionable drugs to test on you, so don't go dying on him. That's so inconsiderate.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?) He will sleep only when he reaches a decent stopping point in whatever he's doing... So, probably not for a while.

A/n: idk why but I think this is written so bad;-; but I'm a professional at self criticism anyways lol

At first he isn't much into physical love language or verbal instead you'll make up to breakfast in bed when he has a free day or little notes even with a flower if he's feeling like it

He's just not used to verbally or physically expressing love so you'll have to slowly ease him into it

Start in private when you're both sitting together , holding hands or leaning on his shoulder .

After some time he'll initiate holding hands and hugs by himself. With cuddles ? He's akward at first not knowing where to place his hands or stuff but after you help him and he sees you're enjoying it (Wich means he's doing it right) it'll be much more common

Even to the point where you bring food into this overworking man's office and you'll end up sitting on his lap and fall asleep while he does his paperwork

Coming to the next point , tobirama appreciates if you bring him food when he's working knowing he forgets to eat and take a break (he only takes them when you come around and he'll talk with you for some minutes )

On free days and after he is used to cuddling expect to be pulled back into bed just because he wants to chill with you there for a bit longer

He won't go back to sleep then but yeah , he'll just lay there and enjoy your presence

Something tells me he gets more open to giving verbal love when he is really tired out and he might be convincible to be the little spoon in cuddling then

Can he cook? Yes , perfectly even . On free days you'll sometimes find him cooking for you both

After some times tobirama gets an extremely soft spot for you and he'll be completely different from the cold self he shows others

Initiating cuddles , coming home for dinner (brings his work with him) , getting more free days to spend with you and even saying I love yous more than before (it's still rare but not as super rare as before)

Nightwalks? You'll have to convince him since you could run into danger and get hurt but he'll say yes if he's coming with you and you're not going to wander off the village far

Now if you're friends with any Uchiha or worse Madara , tobirama will be jealous and so on but you seem to enjoy being friends with them so he'll keep it low . He just doesn't want you to get hurt by them

If they dare to hurt you ... Yeah let's just say they'll be gone missing

Tobirama is overprotective but he knows to control it and not act like it everytime (is this even a thing? Idk)

He is more of a cat person but he would get along with dogs too if they are calm enough. But he doesn't necessarily want a pet still if you want one , he'll allow it and care for it too

As for kids , it'll take long till he would be ready to get one or 2 and if you don't want one he would accept it

Dates with him are always fancy and impressive if he's feeling like making you go "wow"

But if you aren't a fan of it tobirama will enjoy sitting under a tree and eating takeout with you too . Or a nice picnic even tho it has to be a place where people don't go often

Imagine seeing the mighty tobirama doing such "childish thing" yeah he thinks it would ruin his reputation

For the female fellows he knows what period is and what you need , he won't be grossed out at the normal bloodstains and stuff but he'll be confused and helpless about the moodswings for the first few times

In public he is acting more subtle in lovelanguage depending on how many people are around and paying attention to the both of you

This will change if someone is trying to hit on you. The person must be extremely drunk or dumb to hit on his lover. As soon as he sees you're clearly uncomfortable and they won't stop hell be at your side and a hand at your waist pulling you closer to him while giving them a deathglare

Now imagine if an Uchiha hit on you like that? While you're passing by next to them tobirama will casually whisper a threat like "next time you try it you'll be dead" and then act like he didn't just threaten them and buy you something you cheer you up if they made you feel down

oh bud, you are absolutely not dumping this on me!!! i'm nodding along vigorously with everything you're saying!!!!

i've been in one relationship (which was bad for So many reasons and certainly was not romantically fulfilling in any way) and i've dated a little but the true, genuine affection that comes with being loved by someone is just......not something i've ever experienced lol.

and i think when talking about it online a lot of the time the legitimate reasons some people have for wanting to be in a relationship sort of get brushed off in a 'you don't need a relationship to be happy!!!! romantic love isn't everything!!!! be proud to be alone!!!!' kind of way. and i mean. like you said, i'm fine on my own generally. it doesn't bother me. and i don't need a relationship to be happy.

but also. i'm still allowed to want one?????? why shouldn't we get to fall in love, u know??? or find that happiness and love and affection with somebody????? why should i have to settle for being alone when most of the world isn't????

and y'know, re the age thing, i think it's a vicious cycle bc the older you get, the more it maybe feels embarrassing to reveal your lack of experience with relationships so it can make you back out of dating someone before things get serious but then that just means going Even Longer without having those experiences askjdfh i have yet to work through that issue myself lol

also. i know dating apps have been very helpful in one way but in another i feel like they have rUINED dating culture bc it feels like now you do have to be actively looking in order to date anyone. (i am so firmly against the whole 'it'll happen when you least expect it' thing that is highkey not true anymore askjdfh) but my experience of those apps is just everything feeling so formulaic and like you're ticking boxes of the same basic conversation you have with multiple different people while also swiping past people you could potentially really like bc all you're seeing is a few pics and whatever info they've decided to reveal in their bio (which is usually extremely limited). and in general, i think they really don't benefit people who prefer knowing someone in person/being friends first before dating (like me)

but yeah tl;dr. it's really hard sometimes, when i've had a bad day or i'm stressed, to know if one of my friends felt like that they can go home to partners who'll hold them and comfort them and make their day better without having to be asked. and i just....go home, pick myself back up, and carry on. it would just be nice to not have to deal with everything on my own, y'know?????

[Spoilers about Eda's storyline below]

Do you know what I love about Owl House?

It's that not only is it extremely lgbt+ representational, and not only does it point out the flaws in organised religion and with a focus especially on the witch hunter era, but it also touches really well on chronic illnesses.

Specifically, I'm talking about Eda's curse.

It started as a teenager, her mother became so overcome with finding a cure for it that she lost the point - that it's Eda's curse, and what Eda wants to do is what should be important - and Eda ended up feeling like she tore her family apart because of simply having a curse.

Now, disregarding the origins of the curse, her arc is extremely relatable for the chronically ill. She can't control it, it gets worse under stress, she's often exhausted because of it, she has to take potions to keep it in a manageable condition, and most of all, it can't be cured.

Even when the curse is halved at the end of season 1, it's not gone, just returns to a stage that is more manageable again. Like having a surgery; it isn't necessarily going to cure you, but it can give you more time, or make your illness more manageable for a while.

Then, again, during season 2 when she accepts her sickness, she says something along the lines of "I may not like it, but you're a part of me", which I think is also mentioned during the episode with her mother. A big part of having a chronic illness is that point where you have to sit down and face the fact that you are sick, and probably always will be sick, and that acceptance is necessary in order to keep going on. It's something very personal and very relatable for a chronic illness sufferer to hear, and on top of that, it was an extremely beautiful scene to watch. I cried many, many tears.

And even as she "levels up" and becomes a harpy-lady, it doesn't stop the curse from having negative side effects - she can still no longer do natural magic, and the curse corrupts natural magic she takes part in. And on top of that, she still has to take potions to keep it under control, and still gets tired out by going into the harpy state. The curse still affects her in negative ways, but accepting the curse means she's able to forgive and allow those parts of herself, instead of rejecting them. That does wonders for your mental health.

Her illness is magical (as per being part of a children's TV show), and can be used to help the plot and spun in that "my illness makes me strong" way, but she's never 'cured' - she simply finds ways to deal with her illness that suit her. Using her illness to fight bad guys, only to become extra tired, is just like what me and my older sister refer to as "mission mode", which I think is something many chronic illness sufferers can relate to - that decision to do The Thing you need to do, while knowing it'll take all your energy for that day - possibly longer -to do it (maybe it's calling the doctor, maybe it's doing housework that has piled up, or going to the corner shop to buy more milk - it could be anything, for anyone).

I just think Eda is a very good example of chronic illnesses and how, even if you can find the right medicine, or get the right surgeries, even if you can live a practically normal life, your illness won't just go away. It stays a part of you, and accepting it doesn't mean you've lost to it. (Granted, season 3 hasn't come out yet, and who knows if she'll be cured then. I actually hope she doesn't get cured!)

Anyhoo, it probably wasn't intentional, but it's something that has made me, and especially my housebound older sister, feel seen. It's just very cool to see it represented in a character as badass and confident as Eda the Owl Lady. And also to see it represented in someone who is regarded as an incredible parent. Disabled people way too often are made to feel like parenthood isn't an option, but she manages it with style, and she's the ultimate bad girl too! Seriously, I've got massive love for this show for so much of its character representation. I could go on for days talking about it!

Day three, no proofreading we die like men

Barry's sweating bullets. He planned this whole thing out so perfectly and now he's gone and fucked it up. It was such a simple plan.

Step 1: take Lup out for a nice fancy dinner.

Step 2: take Lup to a nearby park.

Step 3: go for a walk, tell Lup this is because it's a beautiful night.

Step 4: hold hands, gaze romantically at the river and stars

Step 5: surreptitiously guide Lup to an area with a stunning view of the water, stars, skyline and, most importantly, a photographer hidden in the trees.

Step 6: do the most terrifying thing he'll ever have to do in his entire life

Step 7: hope Lup says yes

Seven easy steps. Barry's not a recipe man, but he was so sure thay even he couldn't mess this up. But it was colder than he expected, and Lup's wearing a strapless dress, and Barry instinctively offered his jacket when she started shivering. He remembered about ten seconds later that there's a small box in the inner pocket that she can't know about for at least another five minutes.

"You okay, Bear?" He startles a little at Lup's voice. She brushes her fingers over his temple, "you're sweating. And I know it's not the weather."

"Um, yeah, just-" he clears his throat and smiles shakily- "gotta love that chemical imbalance sometimes."

She laughs lightly and kisses his cheek, "should we head home? I can think of a few things that might help that chemical imbalance."

He can see his mark. They aren't that far away, just another minute. "No, not yet. The- the fresh air is good."

She looks at him strangely, but he ignores it and walks forward, trying not to be too hasty. He doesn't get far before his and Lup's joined hands stop him. He turns, and Lup hasn't moved. "You have to hug me first," she says.

Barry's eyes dart between Lup and the spot he spent three weeks picking. "What?"

"You're in a funky mood and I don't like it. I want to give you a hug."

Okay, alright, a hug won't hurt. He could really use it, he's been a mess the last few days leading up to this. He smiles and takes her into his arms. She wraps her arms around his middle and he pulls her snug up against him. He realizes his mistake when Lup laughs and says, "is that your wallet in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

She pulls away from him and before he can stop her, she's reaching into the inner pocket and pulling out the box he asked Magnus to make. It's smaller and more discreet your typical ring box, with rounded edges, made out of maple. She examines the outside and says, "what is this?"

Barry's thoughts are racing. How does he save this? They don't even need to go that much farther. A few dozen feet. He holds out his hand, "I'll show you."

She hands it to him, thankfully without opening it. He takes her hand and she exclaims when he starts pulling her along further down the path. He ignores her line of questioning until they're standing exactly where he wants. He can just barely catch a glimpse of a camera lens in the distance. He drops Lup's hand and turns to face her, closing the box in both of his hands. He takes a breath and meets her eyes, "Lup-"

"You're acting weird."

"I know. I'm sorry. It'll make sense in a second."

"Okay?" If she's pretending to be clueless for his sake, she deserves an Oscar.

"Lup, I love you so much. I never-" he's already getting choked up, fuck- "I never thought I would feel this way, and I never thought that it'd be reciprocated, even if I did." A deep breath. "Especially not from someone like you. You're wonderful. You're so smart and clever and talented. You are the absolute love of my life, and I was wondering if," he lowers himself to a knee, opening the box, and Lup's eyes go wide and her hands come up over her mouth, "you would do me the honour of allowing me to be your husband."

"Fuck you!" She says, tears apparent in her voice. "What the fuck?! Barry! Yes! Fuck! Obviously!"

Barry laughs, the weight of the world instantly off his shoulders. He slips the ring onto Lup's finger and stands. She grabs his collar and pulls him into a kiss. When she breaks it, the photographer has come closer, out of their hiding spot, and is taking more pictures. Lup laughs, "so that's why you were dragging me through a fucking park in this weather, you made a poor photograher hidden to take creep shots of your proposal."

He laughs again, almost high on his own happiness, "and then I was dumb enough to give you my jacket with your ring hidden in it."

Lup laughs too and kisses him again. "It was still perfect."

Jack o' Frost Ep 6 - Finale

Getting around to this a tiny bit late because Midnight Museum has eaten my entire brain, but not as late as I could be (speaking of, MM ends this week so some sort of "here's what I missed when I was obsessing over the story of a maybe-alien and his immortal museum owning boyfriend brother" post will probably be coming. Or two. I don't know I often have too much to say about things).

Anywho.

When last we left off, Ritsu and Fumiya had decided to take some time apart, and that was probably for the best. Frankly Ritsu had every right to be furious, and everyone involved knew it. I don't think that he was pissed, though. At first, yes, but at the end he mostly just seemed sort of sad. Here he was falling in love with this man and it turns out that he'd both already done that and had the full relationship, complete with unhappy ending. Only the one person who should have told him that decided to use his amnesia as a reset button. While I can see the temptation, I also think it's kinda slimy and I wouldn't blame Ritsu for staying away for good.

Oh, the air of melancholy is definitely back. It went missing for a few episodes there.

Okay Fumiya's frustrated yell made me laugh. I get that he probably feels that he's not allowed to go after Ritsu, that he fucked up too much, and well. He did. A lot. But also, not going after Ritsu has been his issue all along. Over and over he decides to leave things to lie rather than try to fight for what he wants, and over and over that has been shown to be the wrong choice. It's Ritsu's decision, ultimately, whether he can learn to forgive Fumiya for what's happened, but I do think that Fumiya should consider letting him know that that's what he wants. Even if ultimately he's rejected. When has keeping his mouth shut worked for him?

HA! It' just doesn't feel like a proper JBL without someone running to their love interest (or chasing their LI around a school, if you're Hira and Kiyoi).

It'll be cute if they come together at the cafe. Like coming full circle.

It's gotta be so weird to take a trip down memory lane when you have a big blank spot in said memory.

Aw, was Ritsu into Fumiya before the cafe? And did he pursue art because of his priase? That's cute. That's very cute. And I mean, I can't say I blame him for wanting to draw Fumiya's face all the time. He's very handsome.

I'm glad he's remembering. While I get the impulse to want to forget all about a relationship when it ends, you'd lose all the good things, too.

Oh the melting effect on the window was nifty.

Um, I don't know. I think hiding a first meeting is a little less a violation than hiding an entire relationship, but that might just be me.

So are they gonna work on their issues here or what? Guys? Those issues that broke you up in the first place?

Okay I'm gonna take Ritsu saying he doesn't want to start over as him saying that they're gonna meet each other halfway as the people they are - the same people that broke up. Because otherwise I'll just work myself into a lather thinking about how saying you're gonna restart doesn't actually do anything without putting in the work to not end up in the same place you were before, and no one wants that.

To be fair I don't really think either of them wanted to break up in the beginning either. I just know that unless we actively try to avoid them, we are often doomed to repeat the same mistakes.

The end was cute, though. Maybe Fumiya is learning to chill a little. And I'll pretend that Ritsu got up afterwards and helped out, rejuvinated.

Final verdict: 8/10. I'm not sure it stuck the landing for me, but I really liked getting to this point. I enjoyed the quiet wistfulness, I loved that this was more adult and that Suzuki Kosuke got a lead role. I also really liked the way it was arranged - the flashbacks into their former relationship bleeding into the way that Fumiya acts with Ritsu, the echoes of how they used to be vs what they are now. I think maybe second chance romances aren't often for me, though, and that might be part of why I'm feeling kind of meh on this here at the end.

There's some other things happening and they're happening today it is a huge day large numbers of people are moving all of the world and from pseudo empire areas they're gearing up and pulling out ships and they're playing a lot of them other places are not so big and they're pulling out multiple areas at the same time it is a very fast procedure when you're using the pipe and it's going to speed up from what it has been and this is just the first round globally and they're going after pipe aggressively it also attacking and disabling a whole plethora of morlock. It's a huge day and tons of them are dying and they've got rude miles and stupid seething things to say and it just makes it worse and little teeny a****** kikes to walk around with you to offer up the their heads to say dumb things and it just happened again

-on top of all this happening here with our son in the middle of it he's going to start growing and we say the 15th and he's wondering what that will be like he hasn't really grown much he's just sitting there at the same weight the same size and basically the same problems even the same wounds the heel a little and then they come back he will the hill a little come back heel and return and they're minor but he has other issues like Watson's quite a bunch of them on his legs they seem to be oxidizing and he's trying to do it and it's good a lot of them have fallen off and that's good too we're watching it happen everyday and it's going fairly well and we see other stuff going on here Trump is a huge bag and should not be trusted we want him out of here but it's working so we're going to double check the math

There's a huge number of people breaking the law here get a mini bike going by and some motorized bicycle and other dumb s*** they're doing smoking pot and public they say they're checking things I believe they go to the islands and they do what they want and it's gross the place is disgusting and it's awesome and we need to weed them out and they need to go down below the cracking is still in New Zealand but the intake is up in Australia and it'll probably start up cuz we mentioned it this other stuff going on

-included in the evacuation there are about 5,000 people that need to leave here there obnoxious and stupid and annoying and lame but really they're just horrible so I'm calling on people to get the list

-along with that we have a whole bunch of morons so I guess I'm with ridiculous horse manure and that's been going on for a while about 30 years of this and after that 30 years it's probably not going to be accepted anymore

-it's a huge number of people who are starting to get ready to leave it is more than the six or so percent we mentioned it's going to be more like 8 to 10%, they're beginning preliminary stuff and we'll probably leave within the next 3 days and it's probably 8 to 10% total including the 6% but that will bring us to a very low number around 12:00 or 10% is going on now people are aware this is starting to really be horrible it's not his fault and keep threatening him and it's getting worse and they're using it to make it safe and we're stupid and it keeps happening to them and they keep on doing the wrong thing pretty soon it'll be over but it continues

-April 15th is the day we anticipate him to grow a little believe it or not it is our plan and the max have it too and it was is a fight and it's always a fight all this medicine and stuff will start wearing off the same time it's going to be very bizarre hugely odd that's what people call it we have some other things to announce we'll do it momentarily

Things I'm Not Allowed To Talk About Yet; or How I Learned More About Foodfight! Than I Ever Thought I Would

Okay, so I'm just going to come right out and say it; I know a lot more about Foodfight! than I've let on in this blog. Like, a LOT more. Shortly after I wrote my original series of posts cataloguing the novelization and various other Foodfight! trivia, I was contacted online by someone named Ziggy Cashmere. He'd been working on a book called Drawing For Nothing, exploring the history of unfinished and underappreciated animated films (with a chapter on Foodfight! among its many pages), as well as a full-on documentary about the movie called "ROTTEN: Behind Foodfight".

Obviously me being the fan of Foodfight! that I am, I wanted to be a part of it in any way that I could. We talked for a while along with another Foodfight! fan in an internet chatroom appropriately titled "Foodfight Obsessives" and fast became friends. Since then I've been shown an early script I never thought I'd see, videos containing behind-the-scenes footage I never dreamed ANYONE would see, and interviews with people who worked on the movie I never imagined anyone would be able to track down. I've seen so much stuff over the past few months and it's been SO EXCITING... but I'm not allowed to talk about it, share any of it, or show anyone just yet! Gah!

It's been SO HARD keeping quiet about this for as long as I have, but since a trailer for the documentary has been up on YouTube for a while, I just wanted to let the cat out of the bag and preemptively say before it comes out: yes I knew about this, I've seen everything that's going to be in the documentary and it's fascinating, yes I was involved in it (in a very minor sense- I have a small cameo and helped with some of the research, Ziggy did 95% of the work) and it's going to be AMAZING. Ziggy's work on this is streets ahead of anything I've managed to do with this blog- the production materials he's dug up and the crewmembers he's managed to get in touch with are nothing short of incredible, and the amount of work that's gone into this is insane. It's like those true crime podcasts where a journalist talks to the victims of some decade-old crime, but instead of a murder case it's a below-average animated children's movie.

Everything Ziggy has on the movie (documents, video footage, pictures, interviews, the whole shebang) will be released alongside the documentary, so don't feel like you're missing out- you'll get to see everything soon enough, and I promise it'll be worth the wait. "ROTTEN: Behind Foodfight" answers the decade-long mystery about Foodfight! as best, if not better than any one person possibly could, and closes the book on what happened behind the scenes on this enigma of a movie once and for all. I'm seriously SO excited for it to be out so I can talk about all the crazy things I've seen, you have NO idea what's in store for you guys. Check out the trailer here:

And if you can't wait for the documentary to come out, you'll see a preview of the kind of thing you can expect in his book, Drawing For Nothing. It's a fascinating free ebook with behind the scenes trivia and concept art from all kinds of lost and forgotten animated movies from over the years (for example, there's a chapter dedicated to Joe Jump, a Disney movie that eventually ended up becoming Wreck It Ralph) It's genuinely a work of art, and speaks strongly to my passion of films that feel like they deserve a second chance.

There's a fantastic chapter on Foodfight! showing off concept art, storyboards, unreleased merchandise and excerpts from an early draft of the script- it's truly fantastic. For example, check out this concept art for the Asian food aisle! I think pieces like this really show more than anything the strength of Foodfight!'s core concept, and how genuinely phenomenal of a movie it could've been were it managed better.

So I highly recommend you check out the book, and stay tuned for ROTTEN: Behind Foodfight, because it's gonna be one hell of a ride. I'll make a much more in-depth post about it once it's out and I can actually talk about the contents of the documentary, but for now it's Tiffany Amber, strawberry jamming out of here!
