i don’t often realize just how big my eyes are. how come they can hold so many tears? and they just… won’t fall. i wish they would. would they crystalize upon touching my skin? i fear i’ll never know. would that happen if i were made of stardust?

i don’t often realize just how big my heart is. how come it can hold so much pain? a silly game it plays. a beat. an ache. i don’t wish for it to stop, not anymore. i wish it’d beat harder, shake the walls of my being, make the tears fall. but it won’t.
