We’ve been talking about this Venus retrograde for literally months and she still won’t actually be in retrograde motion for over another 2 weeks??!

A bit overhyped much?

And to be real, I tend to feel this way about how all retrogrades are treated in pop astrology, and especially the unnecessary doom placed on Mercury retrogrades. Most of the time ppl be thinking Mercury retrograde or some other retrograde is destroying their lives, when they don’t realize there are far more heavy hitting and personal transits they are going through. There’s a problem with this for two reasons:

1.) I don’t think retrogrades in general usually have nearly as much effect on most of us as eclipses, significant transits to our natal chart, and even just regular transits of the Moon in some cases (the mother🌝 closest to Earth who I would argue has us all under her thumb much more than we realize)! Yet “retrograde” is the blame buzzword in astrology circles for people who haven’t yet gone deep with astrology.

2.) I simply don’t think retrogrades have to even be a bad thing. What does it say about our culture that we see the chance to go inward and revisit dynamics of the past to create better dynamics for the future, as an ominous thing?? 🤔🤨 The type of introspective work that can accompany retrogrades (if you’re actually taking advantage of them!😀) can potentially be a little uncomfortable, and external things may not feel like they’re moving ahead as smoothly or straightforwardly as normal, but really retrogrades are a gift. Personally, I’m very grateful that Venus is coming back to the degree of my natal Venus THREE times this Summer, because these revisitings will be needed for the ways I’m trying to grow in Venus’s realm.

If I can impart one piece of wisdom on others, it’s not to view retrogrades with fear or dread. Go inside yourself and ask where YOU would like to grow, and see things differently. It also might be orienting to take into account that unless the retrograde is interacting in particularly personal ways with your natal chart, it may not even have much of any significant effect in your life. 🤷‍♀️

Mercury Retrograde, Solar Lunar Eclipse vs. Mental Health Illness

Every year there are 3 Mercury Retrogrades and other planets that go to retrogrades. Solar Eclipse, Total Lunar of the Sun, Moon, and other planets have their placements too. And not to mention the directions of each of the planets that made people's personalities, behavior, and attitude.

I am not an astrology expert, psychologist, or psychiatrist. As a Tarot Reader and psychic, I love to update myself regarding when, where, and time will this be celebrated. Also, a person's energy is critical because people change but some remain where they are. It's not all the time tarot and astrology should be needed when behavior has not changed at all. Sometimes an intervention of a healthcare professional should be needed.

Mental health illness is described as a sudden change of personality, belief, and attitude to which doctors will determine to recover. Hence, it's our decision on how can we be firm in our decision. Also, how the healing process would make us grow as better people and process to learn to let go of the people and things that aren't serving us. This is done through consultation and therapy.

Managing our mental health and dealing with mental illness is a challenge. It takes a lot of time, effort, money, and endurance. Mercury retrograde also plays a big part, this is entailed us making a big change and embracing change in life, and leaving the past behind.

Monday, March 18th 2024 Sun in Pisces ♓️🌊 Moon in Cancer ♋️🌊

Today, the Moon is hanging out in the sign of Cancer which has us in our feels but also nurturing and protecting the ones we love.

We kick off the day with the Moon in a nice trine with Saturn in Pisces which helps add discipline and structure, allowing for emotional strength that will help get us through any relationship challenges that are present. She will also sextile Jupiter in Taurus adding some optimism and making it easier to work with our feelings. This joyful energy encourages friendship, understanding and cooperation.

After her conversations with Jupiter she will also trine Uranus in Taurus bringing change into our environment.

The bigger news of the day is that Luna is in a square with Mercury in Aries. Mercury is now in the pre retrograde shadow phase. This square can bring disagreements and general moodiness. This is not a good time to get preachy and tell others how to act. Whatever is going on for you in the Aries area of your life will be the topic of focus for this upcoming retrograde period and possibly the reason for the arguments but understand that retrogrades force us to revisit topics that require reassessment or reworking (say that five times real fast). Doll Reflection Questions

Always be willing to reflect on the month so far. As the month wraps up, what weighs us the most? What delights us the most? It can seem arduous to start jotting things down with our minds so busy of what's occurred this month, as well as the looming uncertainty cosmically.

I mainly wrote this due to the retrogrades and full moon, but this can be applied in any context.

Here's a few questions to lead you to your answers you seek:

•What are my deepest desires? Are these things merely surface level wants or needs? How can I achieve them and is it worth achieving?

•Looking back, what have I learned?

•What am I ready to release?

•What can I do to be open to new ideas? How can I serve my creativity, spiritual/religious needs, and mental health?

Doll Reflection Lessons

•Expect sensitivity during introspection. You will be sentimental…memories may sting, so take it easy.

•Reconciliation (healthy, of course) is possible. Use your intuition over who and what is worth it.

•Set boundaries as deception is heightened.

•Lessen social media use to connect with self. Now (and really any other time period) is not the time to get into feuds on social media. That is time you could be using to work on yourself.

•Be more skeptical. Seek clarity and truth. Don't blindly follow everything you see.

Transiting Saturn exits retrograde zone

Wednesday, February 7, 15:01 UT, 7°13’ Pisces

Saturn now enters a “one and done” phase of its transits. What that means is that instead of three aspects (pre-retrograde shadow, retrograde, and post-retrograde shadow), Saturn will make only one aspect to placements:

Between 7°14’ and 12°42’ of any sign

Between 22°14’ and 27°42 of the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

Different astrologers have different ideas about “one and done.” Some say this kind of Saturn aspect is more intense than the “three-peats” - others say we get off lightly. Probably both true, depending on how sensitive we are to Saturn and what exactly it’s up to in our birth charts.

Saturn enters its next retrograde zone on Sunday, March 24, 02:26 UT, at 12°42’ Pisces.

Polar Opposites in July 2023

Have you recently had your rose colored glasses crushed into pieces? If so, Capricorn has a message for you, and it is to get over it point-blank, and simple. You live on Earth which means that you are to follow its rules. Just because your mind lives in Neptune does not mean that your reality is equivalent. If you pay attention to this planet then you will notice that it frequently changes, hence the number 5.

You have to fight back if challenged, but with a strategy. A good warrior does not rush into battle until his confidence is balanced, his spirit is humble, and his discernment is available. This planet fights you all of the time, but it is not to be cruel, it is to evolve. 

Be Realistic About Your Emotions

Capricorn wants you to harden up your shell, and fight back without cruelty. If you have recently cried then you must accept your experiences, and move out of your emotions. Leo season is next and you do not want to be unprepared so it is time to get off your arse and carpe diem.

Mercury Retrograde: Winter 2023 / 2024

Mercury retrograde pre-shadow began on Nov. 25th, with Mercury still in Sagittarius until Dec. 1st.

It's suggested to avoid sending items in the mail as they're far more likely to get lost. Not always something we can do, when Mercury does this during the holidays, of course.

Other than that, try not to buy too much into the hype of Mercury retrograde messing everything up emotionally. We create more miscommunications through fear, than Mercury can ever do to us.

We can't always change circumstances, yet we can often find ways to deal with them easier by sheer force of will, and a regular practice of introspection / meditation.

Don't allow Venus to spin you into over-dramatization, as she's in one of her home signs of Libra, until Dec. 4th, when she enters Scorpio. Scorpio Venus is, well let's not mince words; gothy. Mercury retrograde is *not* specifically about romance.

Mercury retrograde post-shadow period ends Feb. 7th in Capricorn, and I'm waiting until after that to mail something across the country.

I will not be making any Mercury retrograde memes anymore, as that is an area of Astrology which is covered highly (sometimes too often) by others.
