Republicans are owned by the NRA.  Period.
Republicans and the NRA have facilitated the slaughter of innocent children.
Yet they piss and moan about books and drag queens.
Republicans are poison to the United States and its citizens.
Fuck Republicans and Fuck the NRA

When A School Become A Killing Zone in Nashville Tennessee
Tumblr media
Another mass killing of children at school, and their school staff. 3 Children, aged 9 years old, and 3 adults.
They were not threats to anyone in the world on this day.. March 27, 2023. They were in a place of learning. They were supposed to be safe from all harmful sources. They were stolen of their lives.
They leave canyons of global-felt grieve, disbelief, anger among the human race.
Humanity in American Politics failed them. Gun craze lunacy shackle them to mass killing on such a regular basis, one cannot but ponder the one word question: WHY? Why for so many decades has school mass shooting only amplified without any form whatsoever of political commitment to protect schools... and our babies that attend them... and the teachers, staff which guide and nurture their tendure, pure of yet... minds.
When schools become killing zones for anyone bearing a grudge at society, and little to nothing is done to stop, prevent it... what we have then is a failed government on every level. A failed school administration indoctrinating lies for an agenda unknown to us, but perhaps today one might for once, just once...
#LetWomenSpeak -- we are their mothers you see, their grandmothers, siblings, friends, co-workers..
For once, let us realize that what happened today, is the fear of what we are forced to accept: 'this will never happen'... and i say this with great fear... for as we have seen this past few years..
... lies beget violence ...
In our cowardice as a human race, we bow to the pressure of celebrity. Most news media all regurgitate the same lies, manipulating social stability.
Who... what is puppeteering and profiting off the lies our rulers, teachers, politicians, billionaires... tell us?
The social decay of every modern, industrialized country has been rotted from its shores and forests.
Into the cities, towns, politics, news, media.. those who wished us harm... have done us grave harm.
LOOK AT US NOW!
Children, toddlers are forced to accept lies, hide and run.
Gone are the days of innocence and progress..
THIS IS THE AGE OF MADNESS!
How do we empty our lives from being absorbed in bullshit?
I'm pained, I'm hurting, i'm sade, i'm angry.
i'm mad as hell,,, and wondering why we allow ourselves to be silenced, cancelled, murdered.
We are battle-field weary, wounded as parents and grandparents.
An image of a child traumatized, same as adults experience in battles of adult wars... in the 'news', roughly 6 years old had their hand pressed against a school bus window as babies like them are whisked away to safety, after witnessing, and being 'part of' acts of a one-person 'war'... that image will haunt me.. for the rest of my life.

🎃 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲🎃
Jack embodied the quintessential American family golden retriever, the kind that nestled its way into the hearts of all who met him. His gentle nature endeared him to kids and strangers alike, earning him the endearing moniker, "the dog so sweet it could give you diabetes." Jack's owners allowed him to roam freely in their small Nevada town, not out of neglect but because the whole community adored him. Everyone on the block would shower him with pets and treats as he meandered down the familiar streets. Jack was, without a doubt, the town's beloved dog.
But one ominous February, Jack returned home covered in mud and dirt, a behavior typical of digging dogs. His owners cleaned him up, perplexed by the persistent muck on his coat… During that same dark period, tragedy struck their town. A terrorist had planted explosives beneath the sole elementary school, claiming the lives of numerous innocent children. The world was gripped by the headlines, and despite the relentless efforts of the police, the identity of the perpetrator remained shrouded in mystery. After five long years, the town's disillusioned police force reluctantly closed the case, their leads exhausted.
Then, one fateful day, Jack's owner summoned pest control to combat a relentless infestation in their home. The professionals discovered the root of the issue - a nest of rats living in the space beneath the house. What they found amidst the nests would shake the town to its core - an unsettling cache of dynamite. The discovery compelled a call to the police, finally breaking the case wide open. The accused man protested his innocence, but the enraged townsfolk swayed the judge, leading to his conviction and the closure of the case. Amidst the incredulity, someone couldn't resist a sarcastic quip, "So, if it wasn't you, who planted the dynamite under your home, Jack? A dog?" Laughter rippled through the town, unaware of the grim reality.
The shocking truth was that the true terrorist was none other than Jack, the seemingly innocent dog. He had inadvertently stumbled upon an entrance to an old gold mine, driven by instinct to retrieve the curious dynamite-sausages he found deep within. Some he buried beneath the school where the owner's children attended, and others he concealed beneath his own home. Jack, a symbol of unconditional love, had unknowingly unleashed terror, claiming the lives of over 47 children, 2 teachers, and casting a shadow of trauma over the entire America. In the end, the sweetest dog in town harbored the darkest secret.

99,99% of Trans people are not violent.
99,99% of Trans people are not violent. Because one person in USA, did the terrible act of shooting innocent people in an elementary school, that happened to be a transman. Some people think trans people hate Christians and are violent. Let me tell you. 99% of the trans people I know are kind sensitive open-minded people. They have no interest in harassing children or women in toilets or to shoot people. I don't even know trans people with guns. I'm a trans women myself. I'm a nontheist, but I love religions. They are interesting and they give love and hope to many people. I even tried reading the bible, which is a wonderful collection of stories and wisdom. (I read until the tabernacle, then the about Jesus his life and then the apocalypse, very interesting texts) I'm against violence, war and guns. I volunteer and I platonically love my pet dog. It's time to stop sewing division and look at who we are inside and not how we look like.

About today. I go to Green Hills all the time. One of my work offices is there beside the mall. You can see the steeple from the mall. I’ve driven by Covenant countless times. I’m not Christian (I’m atheist if you didn’t already know). I don’t have children. I am a human and a Nashville citizen. To see this happen in my town hurts beyond belief. My heart aches for those families and my community. I can only imagine the horror that Nashville families are feeling today. What I don’t want to see is the LGBTQ+ population vilified over the actions of an unwell person. During my studies for my healthcare degree I studied a lot of psychology and sociology. Gender, like religion & so many other things, is a social construct. What is & isn’t considered acceptable changes wildly over time as society evolves. The gender identity & sexual orientation of the shooter does not matter. Access to guns & lack of healthcare does. That’s where our focus should be. We need to understand why mass shootings keep happening & find a way to stop them. That starts with guns. Our government needs to take action now. Expanding gun safety regulations & access to healthcare is essential. How many more children must die before our society will take this seriously? It’s endemic to the US alone. No other country watches their children die again & again. Don’t look at the gender identity of this murderer & decide that trans people are the problem. They are not. Our government & gun lobbyists are to blame. They don’t care about society as long as their pockets keep getting lined with blood money. We’ve needed action every time this happens. We can’t forget. The thoughts & prayers crowd are performative at best. We can’t forget when the news cycle washes this tragedy away with the next scandal or mass shooting. Don’t blame the LGBTQ+ community or ajar side doors. Blame your lawmakers who sit idle & complicit as the blood of dead children is mopped from the floors of schools. John Wick with a puppy added because Insta requires pics. #schoolshooting #covenant #nashville #guns https://www.instagram.com/p/CqUHhj1rX88/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Texas School Massacre: Justice Served?
Tumblr media
The shocking Texas School Massacre at Robb Elementary School in May 2022 revealed critical failures in the police response, as highlighted in a recent Justice Department report. This blog delves into the key findings and aftermath of the tragic incident.

Critical Failures Unveiled
The Justice Department report identified "several critical failures," emphasizing that "the most significant failure was that the responding officers should have immediately recognized the incident as an active shooter situation." The response to the mass casualty incident was deemed a failure, with the report spanning over 550 pages.
Tumblr media
Delayed Intervention and Chaos
Police in Uvalde faced intense scrutiny for waiting over an hour outside classrooms while the shooting unfolded. The situation turned chaotic due to the officers' "lackadaisical approach" in subduing the gunman, resulting in the shooter not being neutralized until approximately 77 minutes after law enforcement first arrived.

Repercussions and Accountability
In response to the failures, the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District suspended its small police force responsible for safety and security. Attorney General Merrick Garland emphasized the consequences of failed leadership, training, and policies, leading to students and teachers being trapped with an active shooter.
National Context and Gun Control
The incident sheds light on the broader issue of school shootings in a nation with lax firearm regulations. Despite public support for stricter gun controls, the influential gun-ownership lobby and constitutional rights present challenges. Legislative victories, like enhanced background checks and "red flag" laws, aim to address concerns but are limited.

Conclusion
The Texas School Massacre exposes the sobering reality of critical failures in response to a mass shooting. Lessons learned from this tragic event underscore the importance of swift and effective actions in ensuring the safety of students and educators. Read the full article

Just get out of here." I note, for the first time, that he has a handgun in his right hand. Compared to what Liam is carrying, it looks like a toy. "Go!" I go. The gunshots, screams - all still echoing in my ears. After surviving a brutal school shooting, Anna struggles to keep it together. With the help of a psychiatrist, she revisits her past with all its problematic relationships, a broken home, the boys she crushed on and who hardly notice her existence, and her interactions with Liam Wolfe, the boy who killed five people one morning in June.

Gun deaths of children have surged 62% in the US since Sandy Hook On December 14, 2012, a mass shooting at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, left 26 people dead. Twenty of them were children. The collective shock and outrage after such an unspeakable massacre was enormous, and the call for gun regulation grew stronger. It seemed the murder of 20 children would…Read more... https://qz.com/gun-deaths-of-children-have-surged-62-in-the-us-since-1850273424
