I'm so sorry I haven't gotten to my DMs yet and there's still a lot of inbox messages I wanna get to as well!!! I've just been very burnt out. I've been working a lot of extra hours this past month and I'm not used to it so my energy levels have been way lower than they usually are. I've been getting about 30 hours more than what I'm supposed to be getting and it'll be coming from nowhere, on days I'm not available, and it's all just kinda... out of nowhere and making me super tired. I will get back to you I promise!!! I'm just a little bit exhausted is all

But on the plus side!! I got another part time job!! I got hired on the spot to work at a... idk if you'd call it a theater?? it's not a musical theater but it's a place where a lot of people have concerts or shows!! It's really hard to get hired here but I got hired on the SPOT to be one of the bartenders WOOHOO

John Legend was performing here a couple years ago!! Jo Koy was here a few months ago for a show too. Some disney voice actors were here last year. I'm so lucky I got hired, I can't wait to make some extra money and start treating myself again. It's been over a year since I've been able to make some self care money, I've just been living from paycheck to paycheck. But now!!! A few times a month I'll get some good money and maybe even get to mix a drink for someone famous!!! Very very very cool.

Sounds like a name for a Leprechaun- #Everything was a lost cause after that lol #Gosh it feels like forever since I stretched my character creation muscles lol - I'm pleased with him! :D #I started with a more stereotypical Leprechaun look but still with the little ponytail and piercing haha #I think I'd like him to grow into a full Amish beard at some point but Not Yet - still a bit on the young side #He's like?? oddly Sans-esque in a way I can't quite pin down??? I didn't intend that lol #I was hoping to get something more like a young Bilbo Baggins but I'm not complaining haha #He's a bit on the rough side ♪ Green crop-cut leather jacket with pins and patches hehe #Really exerting myself on the colours this time as well haha - he's like halfway to full colour! Over and over Macaque tried to fool Cas, slowly perfecting his disguise to match Doomfanger. Yet somehow, she could always tell the difference and Macaque remained smoochless. Finally- after yet another failure, a thought came to him.

If shifting into Doomfanger wasn’t working… he stared at a container of hair dye with a growing smile. Maybe Doomfanger should look more like him.

The next day as Cas walked into her room she stopped at the desk- frozen at what she’d found waiting for her. Two identical black cats with red and indigo accents.

The tension in the room was thick as the silence drew on.

“Did You Dye My Cat!?” She yells incredulously. And suddenly, Macaque feels that if he were currently capable- he would’ve broken into a cold sweat.

“Mrow” Doomy mews pathetically, making Macaque’s regret double. Cas looks him in the eyes and he knows that she can tell it’s him.

The tension in the bathroom is thick as he’s made to wash the dye off of Doomfanger with Cas watching over his shoulder.

“… You have to admit, it was pretty convincing.”

Cas smacks him upside the head with a hand towel.

“Hey!” He pouts with a huff. “How could you even tell it was me?”

“The smug aura radiating off of you was too intense to ignore.”

“Hah hah- very funny.” He rolls his eyes as she giggles at him.

Cas leans in and gives him a peck on his temple, which makes him freeze.

“Y’know, if you wanted a kiss you could’ve just asked…” Cas smiles, looking at Macaque with a raised eyebrow. The look she got in response was borderline murderous, which makes her bust out laughing.

“THEN WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST DO IT THEN!?”

“YOU MADE IT INTO A GAME!!! WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO- LOSE?!”

They bicker back and forth, Cas laughing until her sides hurt and Macaque becoming certifiably pouty from her teasing. Thankfully, no Doomfangers were harmed in the crossfire and her silky white fur was returned to its normal snowy sheen

She’ll never tell him that it’s the eyes that give him away. Because while they both have yellow eyes as cats- Doomfanger’s eyes have a ring of green in the middle, whereas his have a ring of gold the same same color as his sclera.

Bonus, Macaque 'apologizing' to Dooms. He only wanted kisses, she understands right? XD
