Velicham is the story of Bujimma and her brother, two abandoned siblings from a junk yard. Despite being rough and impoverished, their lives were pleasantly full of love and happiness. While they were searching the city's edge for anything recoverable one day, a regrettable event occurred. A group of people humiliate them because they hate the siblings for coming from a less fortunate background. Bujimma, who is always resilient and upbeat, discovered that she was sinking into a pit of despair. The brother did not stop looking for something to cheer her up, for him to see his sister's simple grin once more. The remainder of the narrative determines whether the brother is successful or unsuccessful in reuniting with his distraught sister.
