sometimes i get annoyed with myself for being lovesick and reading romance into tiny positive interactions but it’s like. i haven’t spoken to old friends in 12 years but i still laugh at the jokes they told me. i remember all the nice things people told me before they broke my heart. the things i look at through the lens of love will always be more dear to me. something wretched in my head calls me desperate but if this is desperation, it’s desperate for genuine connection. nothing wrong with that.

Tell me why this older lady I know will swear like a mf sailor about everything and everyone but then will profusely apologize to me if she accidentally does it around me??? I asked her once and she said it's cuz it feels like a sin if she does it around me but it doesn't matter if it's around anyone else??? I'm assuming it's cuz she sees me as like...
