Here's a refined breakdown of how I envision Stephanie Brown's style, a character whose perception is largely shaped by the male gaze;

While she's comfortable wearing feminine attire, her ultimate aesthetic leans towards more of a Adam Sandler-esque vibe. Her fashion sense, similar to Duke's in many ways, differs significantly from Tim and Bruce's habit of quiet luxury. Her gamine face and all American girl look creates an interesting dichotomy with the way she dresses. There's also a notable juxtaposition between how she navigates high society in comparison to Jason. Whereas the latter used to strive towards acceptance within Bruce's elite circle, Stephanie– and sometimes even Duke, when he feels like being a troublemaker– seeks rejection. She wears oversized men suits to black tie events to emphasize her different background. She leans more into it then– if only to make a point.

To touch back onto my understanding of the class dynamics at play within the Wayne family and how it reflects back on their personal style , I think there are five key-points to talk about– Upbringing, class, gender, race and generation.

Tim, Bruce, and Damian fall into a similar category, having been raised as wealthy boys in a racially homogeneous environment with privileged access to private education. Tim possesses a deeper awareness of his privileged worldview compared to Damian, who is more detached from poverty. Dick occupies a unique position due to his early adoption into the affluent world and his background as the son of performers, which cultivated his charm and adaptability. He seamlessly integrates into high society, drawing from his upbringing. Stephanie, Cassandra, Jason, and Duke, however, have experienced more time in lower-class environments than in financial stability, forming their own distinct circle. They share a mutual understanding rooted in shared experiences, vernacular accents, inside jokes, and nuanced awareness of class dynamics and microaggressions, which sometimes excludes the other group.

When Tim adopts a more casual, Gen-Z skater-boy persona outside of Wayne Enterprises' strict business casual environment, the second group sometimes call him a poser due to the African American roots of the skater style, which emerged in opposition to everything Tim represents– is. While they may be perceived as the "cool kids" within the house– and at school–, they are more protective of one another than malicious towards others, guarding their identity and personal struggles fiercely as an act of revendication.

(read: Alfred would ground him for weeks if he forgot to do something nice for you)

leaves you a big gift box on your bed stuffed with fancy tissue paper and a little card 

it just says ‘wear me’ and when you unwrap it it’s a super formal outfit 

Bruce doesn’t tell you where he’s taking you until he shows up at your house in one of his cars, holding a dozen roses 

he ends up taking you to his private airstrip in Gotham 

he flies you to Monaco and takes you to a restaurant you always wanted to try!! 

and since you’re away from Gotham, the press isn’t even bothering you

after dinner, he takes you to a nice speakeasy for drinks and dessert 

he even turns his phone off so that he can focus on you 100%

this man is CHEESY I’m sorry 

like he goes all out and he’s not even embarrassed about it 

probably asks you to be his Valentine in like a cute promposal-esque way

like he doesn’t want to go all out to all these fancy places, but he doesn’t want to just do a date at home 

so he ends up taking you ice skating!!

also he definitely shows off what a good skater he is and does some cool gymnastics moves

I feel like this man is secretly super romantic 

he doesn’t really like big crowds and don’t even get him started at fancy restaurants where the portion is way too small 

also he’s a big softie so he probably plans something super intimate for you guys

picks up a copy of his favourite book and annotates his favorite passages 

and writes little stories and things he loves about you in the margins 

he invites you over to his place to cook dinner for you

has a playlist of your favorite music playing while he cooks

definitely something super yummy and comforting!! 

he gives you the book after dinner while he waits for dessert to be done

you guys eat dessert and cuddle on the couch and talk about books and movies 

he would definitely dance with you in the living room too!

definitely stays up for several days trying to plan out a perfect for you guys

but since he’s so tired he ends up sleeping in past when he’s supposed to pick you up :((

And much like Tim he simply does not care 

however his teacher makes them make little mail boxes in school and teaches them about the history of the holiday 

and he gets a bit of a heavy heart realizing this is something normal kids do and he just really wants to fit in even if he’ll never admit 

which is what leads him to you the day before Valentine’s Day 

and of course you can’t say no to him because he’s being vulnerable with you and he’s just so fragile :((

that’s how you end up taking him to the craft store to pick up foam and ribbons and glitter glue and stickers 

the two of you sit down at the table and get to work making cute little heart shaped valentines for all of his classmates 

he probably handwrites a message on each of them individually

When I think of Tim I think of the early 2000’s a lot. Believe it or not Timothy coffee addict Drake was once a skater boi and I of course believe deep down he was obsessed with the Avril Lavigne song. I do think Tim most of the time is in the clouds or really just not mentally presented and not in a bad way. It’s hard to explain because I do it too, and I thinks it’s not to take your thoughts and be free to your favorite songs and I think music can help Timmy decompress a lot especially with the crazy family he loves and deals with daily.

Damian is an artist to me and as such I think he’s would prefer to be alone in his room painting or in the gardens sketching away with Alfred the cat next to him. I think deep down Damian has a lot of sadness and hurt inside of him that he doesn’t know how to express. From his mother treating him as a instrument of distraction, his father not having an idea of him being born. And that’s not his fault truly he still feels like he was cheated out of a father and son relationship when he was little. I also think Damian is angry, but not in the typical Damian way. Damian is the baby and will always be compared to his older siblings and why I think he tries or berates them so much is to draws attention away from that insecurity he has. But he has no need because even though the young teen has his demons now he will always find someone a door next to him that can give him advice. That’s if he wants to swallow his pride and ask for the advice.

If anybody's the token normal Batkid and the sanest one,it's Tim-Dick was a circus kid who watched his parents plumet to their deaths and has literally almost 100 years of crazy ass shenanigans,Jason grew up on the streets after his mom died of overdose and his dad got sent to jail and then he got murdered and ressurected at 15 and is the token evil Batkid,Stephanie is the daughter of an abusive dad and a drug addict mom who became a vigilante at 13 to be a hero to other poor people and has been a pastel punk just as long and held the Robin Batgirl Nightwing AND Batwoman mantles,Cass' mom is motherfuckin' LADY SHIVA and her dad trained her to kill but not to talk or any other social things technically including the concept of gender,Duke is a demigod who's 'birth' dad was actually his adoptive one and his parents got jokerised so he joined a Robins gang and even before that he was a troubled kid who was kicked out of multiple schools,Damian was raised in a cult and linkend to a demon in skill and is obsessed with animals and then there's Tim.His mom died when he was little,his dad's a rich jerk,he's a lifelong Nightwing fanboy and that's it for his entire backstory.It's not that he's boring but he's pretty ordinary compared to the rest-Duke probably takes the prize for weirdest Batkid on meta status alone but even then it's an INCH cause they all freaks-Tim's regular teenage boy freaky but the other bats is FREAK FREAKS

So initiates Cass's plan to make Tim Drake into her best friend/new brother.

She just starts showing up everywhere he goes. He goes skating she pulls out skate board and joins, he's taking a nap in his apartment? She's on the other couch when he wakes up. She basically reverse kidnapped herself, and is trying to work Stockholme syndrome to her own uses. She took one of his extra rooms, and made it into her own personal room in his apartment.

Let's also add all the other bats and friends wonder what cass is doing.

I like to think that Tim has met Selina during his nightly escapades of being a stalker. She taught him parkour, and helped him learn how to crack a safe, for....reasons.

I just want a fic where tim is taking pics of something or going skating, and Cass won't leave him alone!

p.s. tim isn't to sleep deprived in this world, neither is he addicted to coffee, he just likes the taste of it.

Oh yeah!! Steph would definitely do that. And she’d totally make him drain the bigger one while she’s at it.

Maybe after while when Bruce gets tired of her using that one, he’ll actually have a custom skating pool for her built on the property of Wayne manor. It’s smaller than a normal skating park but she still loves it nonetheless.

High School No Powers AU but it takes place kinda in the same universe as the Joker/Selina/Bruce YA graphic novel.

All the batkids and their friends are from the same generation as Bruce, and they all in the same school.

Everyone has a clique. Jason's is:

Biz Arro, cheerleader. Has a speech disability and a very beloved plush toy. Rumored to be an uncle to Kon and Matches Luthor-Kents but they never seen even acknowledging each other;

Artemis Grace. Was home schooled up to high school because she was raised on a lesbian commune. Despite this, the least awkward of their group and the reason nobody bullies them;

JD. She spent some time in the same foster home as Jack Napier and considers him as an older brother. She really should not;

Sasha Bahriana. Nobody knows what happened to her face but everyone knows that the other guy got worse;

Jason himself. Everyone knows his mom is addict and his dad's in jail. Everyone also knows he's a giant nerd and theatre geek.

Sometimes have lunch with him, when they feel like slumming it: real life princess Koriand'r (who's also literally exiled from her kingdom by the edict of her older sister, Queen Komand'r) and don't ask why she hangs out with them - when it started, she was going through a rough break up with her first American boyfriend (first love, period) and wanted to get closer to a guy who he always despised; Roy Harper, Olympics-level champion in archery, used to have a two-way unrequited crush with Jason (their break up was very messy but somehow they are still on good terms, just not speaking much).

Dick's clique:

aforementioned Roy Harper and Koriand'r, both his exes, now on good terms;

Wally West from the track team and science club;

Victor Stone from the football team and a known computer geek;

Garfield Logan, a celebrity teen actor (and Victor's boyfriend);

Rachel Roth, resident goth, who's rumoured to had killed her father (and also Gar's girlfriend);

Donna Troy, who moved a couple of years ago and nobody knows where from - or, rather, there's too much contradicting rumours. Looks like she can break you in half and is the reason nobody bullies them;

Dick himself, who was home schooled until middle school, when his parents decided it would be better for his education if he had more stable environment. He is on gymnastics team.

Tim's clique:

Kon Luthor-Kent, a child of a very very messy divorce - to the point that there was a time when nobody had custody of him at all;

Cassie Sandsmark, who spends like every summer in Greece for some reason and is really into Percy Jackson. Also, she is ready to fight gods, and is the reason nobody bullies them;

Cissie King-Jones, another Olympic-level archer;

Bart Allen, who has a twin, actually, but they were separated at birth and now they are raised by the same uncle, Mercury;

Tim himself. His parents used to be rich and sent him to a boarding school. Now they lost all their money and going through a messy (and expensive) divorce so Tim is slumming it in Gotham High. He's a skater and spends too much otherwise free time on social media.

Cassandra Cain's clique:

Barbara Gordon, her foster sister, who technically graduated so she doesn't really count as clique as of this year;

Stephanie Brown. On gymnastics team. Got her father arrested;

Duke Thomas. Valedictorian. Is great with basketball but not on a team. Often organizes or attends political rallies, demonstrations, etc. He and other teens from Gotham organized a whole protest movement;

Cassandra herself. Her father got arrested, her mother unknown. She ended up being fostered by police commissioner. Now, she dances in a street/underground dance competition. She never loses.

Bruce's clique:

Selina Kyle. She doesn't need an introduction. Everyone knows her, everyone wants to be her, even boys;

Talia al Ghul. They transferred at the same time from the same boarding school in Switzerland;

Harvey Dent. One of the childhood friends of Bruce;

Tommy Elliott, another childhood friend of Bruce but now Bruce feels weird around him, but he's sure it's nothing + Tommy just going through some stuff, similar to what Bruce went through a couple years before;

Bruce himself. After his parents tragically died, had a hard time dealing with. After he was kicked out from one school after another for fighting, his guardians decided that a change of scenery is needed and shipped him off to Switzerland. One of his guardians, Alfred, went with him. Leslie, sadly, couldn't give up her practice.

A clique of their own: Grant, Joey, Rose Wilsons, Match Luthor, Thaddeus Thwane, Tara Markov. They are, or were at some point, fostered by Slade Wilson. Except for the Wilsons, they are his biological kids, but no one is living with him by now, and everyone is better for it. They bonded over the shared trauma and hatred/love to Slade Wilson.

Others:

Roman Sionis. Childhood enemy of Bruce. Currently, more of an enemy to Stephanie Brown and Jason Todd.

Jack Napier. Current enemy of Bruce. A Creep who likes to think that he's either a nice guy, or that everyone is bad so it doesn't matter.

Harley Quinn. Ex-girlfriend of Jack. Kneed him in the nuts in front of the whole school. Currently dates Pamela Isley.
