Chapter 5: Mystery Song

Synopsis: At the dawn of night, a soft tune plays in the air, bewitching children and driving away every adult possible from the city of Seoul. Not to mention, Jay is finally up to solving a real mystery and disappointing his parents for once in his life.

The little boy sat with his legs crossed in front of the bright screen. An episode of Spongebob was displayed, entertaining and distracting his young mind.

You slowly approached the T.V, managing to shut it off.

“Time for bed Chan.” He nodded quietly and waited for Jay to come and help him clean up the mess he had made earlier. One clean-up later, and he sat patiently in his bed under the covers.

“Goodnight buddy.” You planted a kiss on his forehead and Jay gave him a fist bump before switching off the lights to let him rest.

“We’re lucky we got Chan, remember when Jungwon and Sunoo tried babysitting their neighbor’s kid?”

“Yes, considering we were the ones who ended up babysitting.” The both of you laughed reminiscing the old memories: paint splattered walls, and juice stains on the cushions were definitely how you wanted to spend your weekend.

“We make a good team, you know. Aside from our bitter rivalry.” Jay slowly played with his hands while looking down.

“We do. You know if you ever want to join us on an inves-” You didn't get to finish your statement before the two of you heard the sound of a flute from outside. Jay drew back the curtains and was met with a cloth covered person who was too far to distinguish.

At the same time, a small crash was heard from upstairs. Worried, you went to check on the young boy you had promised to babysit. He came out of the room, jumping on top of you; his hair had become white, and his fangs clearly meant that he was not the sweet boy from earlier.

“Come on.” Chan chased you downstairs until the two of you managed to jump out the window. He retreated backwards, closing the window you had just jumped out of.

In the distance, a creature had claimed his first mission.

“We don’t know what happened. One moment he’s falling asleep, and in the next, he’s trying to threaten me and Jay. Do you think we can check on him?”

“Sure, not like we’ll miss out on anything at school.” It took a while for Heeseung to process his statement until a subtle light bulb appeared in his mind.

“Actually no, I’m failing civics, and I’m this close to losing my trap privileges.”

“I could help you! I’m great at civics.”

“Sure you are.” At hearing Sunghoon’s cocky remark, you grabbed your small chapstick and chucked it at his shoulder while he was distracted with the sugar treat in his hand.

“Thanks, but my dad already hired a tutor. She’s a senior.” Your expression fell at hearing the clear “her,” in his response, but frankly you no longer carried the energy to settle for another response.

“Hey take a look at that, people are moving out!” Jay, who agreed to tag along with your group of friends, pointed towards the street of fleeing cars. Heeseung parked and all of you rushed to see the amount of parents who were packing their belongings. It even included Chan’s parents.

“Hey Chief Kim, what’s going on?” Chief Kim turned and saw your faces and wasn’t shy in expressing his clear disappointment.

“Well they tell of this creature, ‘Que Horrifico.’ It has been appearing late at night, playing a tune on their flute and spookifying children.”

“It’s true, it explains why Chan grew fangs and yellow eyes.” Your bodies remained on the sidewalk, quietly observing as more and more couples fled from the street.

“Well, guess that means a new mystery!” Jake had celebrated a little too soon, before Chief Kim and the other officers placed handcuffs on the group.

“But dad!” One by one, the teens were placed in the back of the police car, clearly unsurprised by the times this has occurred before.

“Nothing, this is a great business! And all you can do is not flunk civics!” Mayor Lee led his son inside the car, and slammed the door shut to drive them school.

“Wow, at least it’s Jake and Jay’s first time getting arrested!”

“You say that like it’s a good thing Sunoo.” Sunoo rolled his eyes, and used his shoulders to shove Jay slightly.

“Well, at least maybe they’ll cut some slack on y/n from now on.”

Out of good will, the entire group had agreed to accompany Heeseung to meet his new tutor.

“Lee Heeseung.” A tiny voice called out for him, and was met with a young girl with huge rimmed glasses staring intensely at him.

“You’re my civics tutor?” The other boys tried to cover their laughs, but were unsuccessful given that Heeseung stared back in a strangling manner.

“My name is Naeun, and yes. Civics is my passion. I’m actually supposed to be in college, but they told me High School would help with social skills. I applied to be appointed to the Seoul Civic Board, but your father said I was, ‘too young.’ Come now Heeseung.” Naeun grabbed his hand and led him off towards an empty table while the rest of you saw the scene unfold in front of you.

“Let’s go get ice cream while he studies!” Jake lazily slung his arm over your shoulders and you had no reaction until you accidentally collided with the person in front of you.

“My apologies Dr.Lopez!” You got down on your knees to help him with the stuff he had dropped seconds before. Oddly enough, a page was opened to an image that Chief Kim had demonstrated earlier about ‘Que Horrifico.’

“Ah, yes. Thank you.” Almost quickly, he snatched the book from his hands and went off in a hurry leaving you both confused and puzzled.

… Later that night

The night had made its presence in the city, and once more the tune of a pan flute began. Parents recoiled from their spooked children and escaped their homes.

Que Horrifico had claimed its next mission.

“More people are leaving?” Another trail of cars followed the exit of the city, meanwhile the van drove towards the street.

“At this point, Seoul is going to be a ghost town.” Everyone nodded in agreement to Jungwon’s statement.

“Where’s Jay by the way?” You stayed silent.

“Your parents huh?” Sunghoon looked at you before your look gave away the response.

The night before, Jay had run into trouble with your parents after they heard he had hung out with you and your friends. They were even more upset when they knew you had been arrested and dragged away to school. They had prohibited any connection with Jay and your friends; they were fearful he would be like you.

Heeseung parked the car on the curb and broke the rest of you away from any thoughts. As the six of you stood waiting, Sunghoon’s mother was seen leading a city tour.

“Mom?” Sunghoon waited patiently, and his mother gave him a quick smile.

“What did I tell you? Go to school, this is good for the business!”

“But-” His mother managed to lunge a t-shirt at his face.

“Wear it to school! And if they ask, it’s $15!”

Once you arrived at school, you lead the team towards Dr.Lopez's office. In one movement, Sunoo opened the door, finding a room filled with artifacts.

“What is all this?” Jungwon began playing around with the posters, before pulling back the cloth covering a pan flute.

“What are you doing in my office?” Dr.Lopez stepped into the room, glancing at what was a bunch of teens snooping at his belongings.

“I’m so sorry, we just wanted to come talk to you.”

“Cool dart piece by the way.” Heeseung complimented him before Jake stepped in to correct him.

“It’s a pan flute.”

“And!? Just because I have a pan flute, I’m Que Horrifico. How dare you accuse me!” He slammed his fists on the table; meanwhile you all just kept your stares on him.

“We’re not. We just want to know about Que Horrifico.”

“Ahh yes. Give me a moment will you.” Dr.Lopez set up the monitor, displaying the slideshow in color and everything.

“The tale of Que Horrifico says that using his pan flute, he stalks the streets at night. His tune turns children into monsters. He takes them to his home and builds an army.”

“Yikes. What kind of person needs a child army?”

“Lee Heeseung, we have civics tutoring remember!” Naeun, like usual, stopped by and tried to drag the young boy away.

“I’m sorry Naeun, but I’ve got something more important to do!”

“What can be more important than civics!?” The child crossed her arms and paid no attention to the other teens staring at her from behind Heeseung.

“Shh, don’t make a sound.” Sunghoon gestured a shush motion as the six of you ducked under the window vision of Dr.Lopez.

“Why are we here anyway?” Sunoo asked in a whisper like manner; the teen’s head sticking from outside the bushes.

“We have to make sure that if Dr.Lopez is Que Horrifico, that we can stop him.” It was a few seconds before you noticed Jay running across the street in your direction.

“Guys!” All of you quickly repeated Sunghoon’s earlier motion, but achieved no luck when Jay crashed into the trash cans causing Dr.Lopez to open his windows.

“You do think I’m Que Horrifico, and...I’m starting to think it’s true. Come inside.” You helped Jay up from the floor and walked into the cozy room that was furnished with fun trinkets.

Heeseung grabbed a long chain and began to wrap it around Dr.Lopez who was seated on the chair. Now, they waited.

An hour passed by and nothing had still occurred.

“It’s happening!!!” Dr.Lopez began to scream with all his might, but a small gas sound escaped from him.

Still, nothing.

The same flute sound began once more, it echoed in the distance. Immediately, you all raced out the front door and saw Que Horrifico with a pan flute in its hand.

It was not Dr.Lopez after all.

“We need to set a trap, now.”

“Uhh, why are we at a house?” Jake questioned his older companions, but saw as Heeseung took out a couple of costumes from a bin.

“Well, let’s just say a new family will be moving in.”

“And who’s stupid enough to do that?” Sunoo emptily looked at his friends, before a proud smirk appeared on Heeseung’s face.

Jungwoon and Sunoo were now dressed in children’s clothes, while you were dressed in a stereotypical stay at home mom outfit. Meanwhile, Heeseung placed a suit blazer over his outfit, and Sunghoon, (who hated his outfit the most,) found himself in a grandpa costume. In the meantime, Jay and Jake took the liberty of setting up the trap upstairs.

“Wow. Look at all these toys.” Jungwon’s sarcastic tone made Jay roll his eyes while he mounted the sets of ropes.

“Wow, don’t you think this is a wonderful night.” You unconsciously placed a hand on Heeseung’s shoulders, but he was quick to move it off.

“Quit it, we’re married. We can’t be happy.”

“Come on children, it’s time for bed.” Sunoo and Jungwon got up from the grass and headed indoors with you, Heeseung, and grandpa Sunghoon following.

In a matter of seconds, the same tune began to play again. This time, you were prepared….or so you thought.

At the first sight of Que Horrifico, Jake and Jay let go of the ropes which successfully planted the net onto the creature’s body. But what they didn’t expect was the monster children that were marching behind them.

“Get them!” In a shriek like manner, the children were commanded to attack.

All of you dashed towards the home, splitting into three different directions. Sunoo and Jungwon ran upstairs, while Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon went into the kitchen. That left you and Heeseung running to the living room.

You had attempted to bolt the door shut, but the children dropped oil onto the floor causing you to slip backwards before Heeseung managed to catch you in a typical kdrama manner.

Upstairs, Sunoo and Jungwon had found refuge in the closet, while the 02 liners found themselves fighting off the young monsters heading into the kitchen.

“Come on.” There was no escape, and the child army only approached you closer and closer.

“I guess this is it Jungwon. It was nice being your friend.”

“I’ll miss you Sunoo!” As Sunoo and Jungwon hugged each other tightly, but were startled when the shaking at their closet door came to a stop. Your foot had pressed on the remote controller which turned on the TV to Spongebob. It distracted the children and suddenly all of them began to sit on the floor with a quiet giggle.

“You fools! The plan!” Que Horrifico was by the window and sprinted off when he saw the seven of you chase him with a net in hand.

The net finally trapped him accurately, and Chief Kim had also arrived on time.

“Now, let’s see who you are…” Jake pulled back the mask and it revealed the young girl who claimed herself a civics master.

“Naeun, but why?”

“I’ll tell you why. I told you I had brilliant ideas for running the city, but when no one listened, I needed to make my own plan. I learned about Que Horrifico in Dr.Lopez’s class, and I used the drama department to make my costume. I went to every elementary school and used my english skills to promise them utopia! But when that didn’t work, I offered them candy. My tune was a signal for them to get dressed, the town would be free of adults. And I would have been successful if it wasn’t for you meddling school people!”

Chief Kim casted a pair of handcuffs and dragged her away.

In the meantime, Jay had gone off under a tree to answer a phone call. He was not ready to give up the new life he had found with friends.

He was ready to stop being perfect.

Maledictus AU

After about a month-and-a-half, Taemin feels comfortable enough to move back into the Hufflepuff dorms. He’s assured by his Head of House and the Headmaster that should he ever feel uncomfortable or bullied again, all he needs to do is ask and he’ll be allowed to use the floo to go home.

His roommates all talk about how much they missed him, and they even made sure all of Taemin’s stuff from the dorms was left just as he liked it. His entire House is happy to have him back, celebrating in the common room after dinner the first night Taemin stays in the dorms again. It makes him laugh and feel so happy and loved and like his House really is his second family. Even older students he’s never really talked to welcome him back home, and it’s a nice feeling.

“You tell us if anyone ever messes with you again,” a seventh year tells him. “Especially those Slytherin Lee brothers. We’ll take care of them for you.”

“Thank you,” is all he can mumble, a little uncomfortable at the idea of so many people feeling the need to protect him. It’s nice, but he doesn’t want to feel helpless.

Naeun stays glued to him the entire celebration, holding onto his arm and hugging him and telling him how much she missed him.

“It’s just not the same without you here to do homework with or hang out by the fireplace with,” she tells him.

“I missed hanging out with you a lot too,” Taemin whispers. They’re sitting in front of the fireplace, on the fluffy yellow rug, sipping butterbeer and eating biscuits.

The next morning, Jongin shuffles over to the Hufflepuff table and asks in a soft, still-sleepy voice if he can sit with Taemin and Naeun. Taemin lets him. At the end of the day, after classes, they’re back to goofing around outside by the lake and laughing up a storm with the rest of their friends after finishing their homework. The two of them are rolling around together on the grass under a tree, laughing and giggling and telling each other jokes that no one else understands.

It’s sweet and nice and all of their friends are happy to see it. Baekhyun is happy about it as he watches from afar as well, keeping an eye on them from where he’s sitting with a few of his friends.

Sooman is keeping an eye on them too, from the safety of his office window. He’s glad that his son is happy again, especially after being so miserable the last few months, but he’s not sure how he feels about him hanging around Taemin. It’s a very tricky situation, in Sooman’s mind.

But to Jongin and Taemin, it’s as simple as can be. They’re twins. They’re not going to stay apart for long if they can help it. They simply just want to be together.

Okay so, I’ve been here at Hollywood Fame for over two years (if any of you remember waaaaaaay back, I was first here as Shailene Woodley, went I/A for a bit then came back as Dacre Montgomery) and I’ve made some amazing friends and memories! I appreciate the hard work everyone puts into their writing and their characters as well as the work the admins put in to making sure this place runs smoothly. I’m just gonna mention a few people who make me super happy and I’m glad I met every single one of them.

M (@tcemint) ⏤ literally the best ship partner and friend I could’ve ever ask for. I’m so happy we met and start talking and instantly got closer. I know I suck at replying sometimes, but you still put up with me! I consider myself hella lucky for that. I love the way you write and play every single character and all of the interactions we have because they’re so genuine and fun to reply to. You’re also just one of the kindest, most down to earth people and I’m so happy that we’re so close and I get to call you a friend. You’ve helped me through a lot of personal things and I still don’t know how to properly thank you for everything. I’m also glad that I can also be there for you whenever you need me and you know that I’ll always lend you an ear. I love you so much, and am so..so thankful I’ve got someone like you in my life, always making it better. Thank you for everything you do, all the ships we have and everything else. 💕

What do you feel like are your favorite moments for each member? Also you truly do a good job with the “out of contexts” part, I’ll come here sometimes before even watching an episode and get instantly intrigued just by looking at the screen-caps you choose! Appreciate your desication! 💞

Thank you so much! Sometimes I struggle with picking what caps to post so I’m glad to hear that.

For my favorite RM moments for each member, I’ve tried to think of some stuff off the top of my head. My memory is not the best so some of the moments are more recent. Also some of these aren’t even moments but more recurring jokes.

Ji Sukjin: I liked the episodes when he renews his vows with his wife and when his son appeared on the show. It was cute seeing his family. I also love it when he plays along with the old jokes the other members make about him. It’s funny seeing him humor his younger castmates.

Yoo Jaesuk: Whenever he dances, it makes me laugh. I also love it when he’s really energetic and hyper. When he insists he’s the king of ad-libs, but he always fails. Yoomes Bond is always iconic. I also like it when he reminisces about his younger days with Sukjin. I love that they’ve been friends for a really long time.

Kim Jongkook: Whenever he acts cute, it’s adorable. He’s so scary sometimes but he’s really a softie on the inside. Like the one Christmas episode when he brought in a baby doll he bought years ago. I also like it when he bullys Jaesuk and Sukjin. He’s younger than them but they’re so scared of him and it makes me laugh.

Haha: I really liked the episode his mom appeared in. She’s so sweet and I liked seeing them together. I also think it’s funny whenever he betrays his team or it turns out he’s the spy. He really acts like such a mischievous kid. I also liked the episode where he rows across the Han River I believe and he’s yelling out his son’s name.

Song Jihyo: One of my favorite Jihyo moments is from one of the New Year Cooking Battle episodes. They filmed her segment in her home town and she was partnered with friend Lee Dong-Wook. She was so happy throughout the episode and I loved seeing her like that. My favorite ace moment of hers was in Sukjin’s episode special. The members had to rappel from a 2nd floor window. She was so calm doing it while the other members were just scared watching from the window.

Lee Kwangsoo: When he had to do his wingwalking punishment, he looked so funny. His face was hilarious. I also liked his special episodes when the members had to find his young fan or when they invaded his house. Also anytime he has to wear a costume. He went all out with it like his Avatar look. I also like relationship with Jaesuk. Just constant trolling (mostly from Jaesuk).

Yang Sechan: Whenever he fails at a spelling or knowledge quiz. His catfish and Ursula costume were hilarious. I also think its funny whenever Naeun from Apink guests because of his crush on her. Also whenever he’s being one of KJK’s minions. When he signed up for RM, I don’t think he realized he was also signing up to be in KJK’s service lol

Jeon Somin: The human magnet moment was iconic. Really showed she doesn’t care about laughing at herself. I also liked it whenever she’s sentimental about her past or her past love life. It’s sweet seeing her emotional side. I also love how she’s the new romantic on the show (taking over for Kwangsoo). Anytime a cute male guest, she’s happy. I also love it when she acts crazy and the other members don’t know how to handle her energy.

** ✰ ––– son naeun. cis female. she/her // you don’t know ? that’s CORALIE SONG ! they’re a TWENTY SIX year old musician from MANHATTAN, NY. as part of manhattan’s elite, the reveller is known to be CREATIVE & HISTRIONIC. most people recognize them by statement necklaces, diamond chokers, discarded champagne bottles, sobbing down the phone at 2.a.m. ( elle, 22, bst, she/her )

coralie was four when she moved to the u.s.a, her parents didn’t have much when they first moved to l.a. they saw their daughter as a money making opportunity so did everything they could to get her an audition to become the next big thing. they made her watch television constantly so her english would be better, so that she could communicate with others with ease as well as make them money. she didn’t mind learning; it came easy to her. the fact she was a pretty child meant she secured her first role at five and was a season regular on a tv show by six (that would go on for 15 seasons).

"the generation house" that would run for eight seasons and it would be shot in new york city. coralie was given the part of philippa ‘pippa’ cho, a main character. the money quickly came in and her parents were so proud of her.their finances had sky-rocketed because of the girls' success.

it became clear to the girl throughout her teenage years that her mother and father loved her because they wanted the money and in rebellion, she tried to quit. however, her cast members frequently reminded her of how much fun they had on set and although the days were long, she couldn’t argue with that. her director was more of a parent to her than her own. they saw her as a person and not as a human atm machine. coralie never saw a cent of money she made before she turned 18. once she did, she completely cut them off. they would come back every so often begging her but she has been known to be quite ruthless with them.

preferring to keep things private and sometimes cor’s fame scared her; the girl grew up in the public eye and she heard negative things about her, some of which were true and some of which were smear campaigns orchestrated by haters. she practically grew up in the public eye; she was one of america’s sweethearts in her time. where she didn’t get love from her parents, she’d get it from the public and she liked that aspect of fame, however, it was less welcomed by her when it was negative.

by the time she had finished shooting “the children of years”, coralie was eighteen and she was looking for something more substantial. however, the transition from child star to actress was very hard; no one could get past her previous roles, that were light-hearted and comedic. her only option was to go in to the independent film industry, to get down to the nitty-gritty, the meaningful and artistic films and some got recognition while some didn’t even make a final cut.

it was deflating to be pushed in to the background after so much work in her early years. it worried her because she hadn’t had to time to get a proper education, she hadn’t gone to school and appeared to have made no actual friends; most of the cast members that she had worked with had gone their separate ways; most of the child actors were either in rehab or had quit as they decided that it wasn’t for them.

her parents twisted the story and went to the papers, giving it their last shot to get some cash out of her. it also dragged down her reputation and she was no longer america’s sweetheart. it was very hard for her to accept that some people didn’t love her like they used to, considering the public was where she turned to for love. she would say that she doesn’t care about it so much now but that’s simply not the case. she’s alone and blames herself for shunning them to begin with.

shortly after, coralie turned to a life of partying as well as a music career. she had found it difficult to get interesting work and hadn’t really had any passion for acting anyway seen as she was forced into it. she came back with a brand new image the good girl gone bad , the rebel without a cause . the best way it can be described is lady gaga’s the fame era meets rihanna’s good girl gone bad. people were seeing her in a different light and while some were disgusted, her music was catchy, autotuned at times but people thrived on it. she couldn’t have asked for a better debut in the music industry.

she managed to complete her first world tour, even though the girl was exhausted and in a really bad headspace. she went big, every single time and that was going to take its toll. although she likes to believe that she makes her own decisions, her record company has just filled the void of her parents in a negative way. they’re using her for money and she’s tired - it’s getting to a point where it’s starting to show.

living in a penthouse in manhattan was great for the aesthetic. she was a girl that had come from nothing who had been working since she was five years old. however, it was the epitome of loneliness and she doesn’t want to feel like that. it lead to her crying down to her employees about how trapped she felt and how isolating it was. people kept talking about her and she’d do the unimaginable to try and keep up. a few months ago she even went as far to get her nose done but has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors in the papers.

she has started to do things for attention; she does like the attention, whether it be positive or negative as that means someone still has an interest in her and she hasn’t been forgotten about.

coralie puts on a tough front and she does well until she reaches her boiling point and completely breaks down. she feels so used by the industry but it’s all she’s ever known and has nothing and no one to fall back on. she is still a child when it comes to showingemotions and she demands attention from others by doing it.

she’s very active on social media. it comes across as quite narcissistic but her friends enjoy it. she’s a performer. coralie isn’t the most amazing vocalist to ever live but she knows how to put on a good show; she always goes out and does her best, wanting to give her fans the best performance possible. however, if she’s at all slack, it means that something’s going on with her.coralie finds it easy to get brand endorsements / campaigns because of her looks. however, she knows full well her company see her as a beautiful money maker and that’s all.although her life is a mess, she’s proud that she’s achieved so much… mostly alone.

people can tell that she’s a former child star and now pop star as she’s egocentric - the whole world feels like it revolves around her . she can be histrionic but it’s her form of acting out. she is chaotic but she does have a heart of gold. facades always fade with her and she can’t keep them up for long because it exhausts her. she just wants to be loved!

she speaks english,spanish (almost fluent), korean (as she’s forgotten most of it since she cut off her parents) and french (basic).

i’m open to everything! from friends, frenemies, fans, ex-fans, mentors, gym buddies, friends with benefits, drinking buddies, someone who takes her out to do normal stuff like shopping, acquaintenances from her time in the industry, people who she’s mistreated/been a diva with in the past, someone who she fights with a lot due to her entitled attitude, the list goes on ! give this a little like and i’ll come to you!

kdrama recs!

although i already have a tag for my favorite asian dramas in general (check out here if you want) i wanted to make a post dedicated to the dramas i’ve watched that hit differently.... i’ll explain

these dramas aren’t necessarily my fave of all time or at the very top of my fave list, but i did enjoy all of them a lot. the dramas on this list are the ones i enjoyed from start to finish, every episode, practically every scene. the ones i did not want to end. they were easy to watch and the struggle to not click “next episode” was real. so if you’ve got nothing else to do maybe check one or two out!

‣ goblin

starring : gong yoo, kim go eun, lee dong wook, yoo in na, yook sungjae

plot : kim shin is turned into a goblin tasked with protecting certain people from the life of misery. the only way to end his immortal life is to find his bride that can set him free of his sword. kim shin accidentally becomes roommates with a grim reaper, wang yeo, and as natural enemies the two clash. ji eun tak is a high school student who is able to communicate with the dead. she gets involved with the goblin and grim reaper. could she be the goblin’s bride who holds the power to release him from his eternal misery and set his soul free?

thoughts : this is my number one (1) fave kdrama and drama over all! it has everything: unique plot, interesting characters, humor, drama, fantasy elements... this is the drama i’ll always recommend to anyone and everyone. there’s not a dull moment and there is always something that grabs your attention. the depth to each character is crazy and how they all connect is insane. you grow close to them all and end up routing for them with all your heart. couldn’t recommend it enough.

‣ high-end crush

starring : jung il woo, jin se yeon, yoon bora, lee si eon

plot : choi se hoon is the ceo of an entertainment company and knows his stuff well. he is very arrogant and doesn’t take no for an answer. yoo yi ryeong lives alone on a mountain and doesn’t have any desire for money and fame. the two cross paths and se hoon ends up offering yi ryeong a contract from his company, she rejects him. the determined businessman won’t give up on her and ends up developing feelings along the way. can two people from different worlds come together?

thoughts : the fact that i almost didn’t watch this drama will haunt me forever. i’m sO happY that i gave it a go. i expected nothing but ended up with so much. this mini drama made me laugh and cry, and took me on a hell of a ride. the story between the couple is hilariously sweet and melts my heart. jung il woo stole my heart with this drama, he did an excellent job as the lead and his character made the drama what it is. if you have 5 hours to spare i highly recommend this one, enjoyed every second.

‣ hospital ship

starring : ha ji won, kang min hyuk, lee seo won, kwon min ah

plot : song eun jae is a capable surgeon at a large hospital in seoul. due to circumstances she ends up quitting her job and boards a hospital ship that provides medical care for locals in rural villages. on board are army doctors who have unwillingly been assigned their posts, except for kwak hyun, who volunteered. although eun jae has a cold personality, she is perfectionist and very skilled. with her on board, the hospital ship is able to admit patients and help with the most critical medical problems, all while out at sea.

thoughts : honestly i didn’t have any expectations going into this one, but i was pleasantly surprised. all the different characters clashed together and made the story very interesting, everyone came together and became an unexpected family. all the cases they dealt with were just insaane and made the drama so entertaining to watch! they always had the odds against them but somehow made in through them. very addicting.

‣ extraordinary you

starring : kim hye yoon, rowoon, lee jae wook, lee naeun, kim young dae

plot : eun dan oh is a student at a prestigious academy. one day she discovers that the world she’s living in is a fantasy world of comics, and she isn’t even the main character! she is only an extra and the writer has set her up with a lame story line that she doesn’t want to follow. dan oh realizes she is one of the few characters that are aware and tries to change the story to free herself from the writer’s grip. she meets a nameless student, number 13, who dan oh thinks can be the key. they work together to try and change their fates, but this comes with a price to pay.

thoughts : this drama was almost impossible not to watch one episode right after another! suuch a cool plot and it was hard to try and predict what was going to happen next. the drama kept its secrets very well and dragged it out, making you as a viewer really miserable wanting to know more, but this is what made it so good. things uncovered slowly but surely and you changed your mind about things over and over. big brain energy on this one!

‣ cinderella and four knights

starring : jung il woo, park so dam, ahn jae hyun, lee jung shin, son naeun

plot : eun ha won feels alone in the world and has poor contact with her father and stepmother. she lives a hard life trying to find ways to pay for her education. she gets involved with the three famous and rich cousins : kang ji woon ; a rebel-minded loner, kang hyun min ; a playboy money machine and kang seo woo, a sweet singer-songwriter. because of ha won’s non-nonsense personality, the cousins grandfather thinks she’s the perfect person to discipline his spoiled grandsons to get along with each other. however in the process ha won finds herself in the middle of a quadrangle love story.

thoughts : man, honestly this drama is THE reason why i’m even making this list. i was hooked from the start and STAYED hooked the entire drama. park so dam being the queen she is played her character so fantastically, i love how powerful and confident her character is. how different the cousins personalities were made it hilariously interesting to watch. i myself fell in love with each guy and had the hardest time picking who to root for! second and third lead syndrome is real. this is the one drama that i can honestly say i did not want to end, i’d watch this forever if i could lmfao

‣ falling for innocence

starring : jung kyung ho, kim so yeon, yoon hyun min

plot : kang min ho is a cold-blooded corporate raider who treats his workers and people ruthlessly. he is self-defensive and a suspicious sociopath, but he suffers from heart problems and is expected to die in the near future. unless he gets a heart transplant from a suitable donor, he is done for. kim soon jung’s fiancé gets into a car “accident” which ends in fatality. luckily for min ho, the fiancé is a match and min ho gets another shot at life. after the heart transplant, min ho starts to notice changes in his behavior : a rare result of heart transplants. he ends up falling for soon jung and she teaches him the meaning of true happiness and what love is. are his feelings really his, or the memories from the previous owner of his heart?

thoughts : i thought this drama wasn’t gonna be anything out of the ordinary going into it, but i was wrong. the character development the main character went through is one of the best ones i’ve seen and very inspiring at that. how he went from night to day because of his transplant was really something to witness. jung kyung ho killed it obviously and made his character believable. seeing how the characters deal with the situation made me not being able to stop watching.

‣ one spring night

starring : jung hae in, han ji min, kim jun han, joo min kyung, lim sung eon

plot : lee jeong in decides to prioritize happiness in her life. she has a long time boyfriend who wants to marry her but she’s not so sure what she feels. to treat her hangover one spring night, she goes to the pharmacy. yoo ji ho is the pharmacist who ends up helping her. ji ho is a single dad and unsure whether a woman could want a man like him. he however immediately becomes interested in jeong in and does whatever he can to meet her in person. the two fall in love despite their situations. the two however now have to deal with the obstacles that family, friends and society sets for them.

thoughts : this drama is like a warm safety blanket for me. i started it on a whim, skimming through netflix just wanting to watch something before bed. i ended up clicking on this and booy am i happy i did. it’s a nicely slow-paced, sweet and romantic love story which touches your heart in the best way. the whole vibe of the drama is just... i don’t know how to describe it’s just... chill?? and nice?? and comfortable?? it was my night time drama before bed, so i have nice memories from watching it. loved their love story. also a+++ for the osts!!!

‣ madame antoine : the love therapist

starring : sung joon, han ye seul, jeong jinwoon, hwang seung un, lee joo hyung

plot : go hye rim is a famous fortune-teller known as “madame antoine” and insist she is spiritually connected to the late french queen marie antoinette. choi soo hyun is a highly awarded therapist specialising in women’s psychology. coincidentally, his psychological treatment center is also called “madame antoine”. soo hyun develops an experiment with the hypothesis that love does not exist. he tricks hye rim into participating in the experiment to study her behavior when approached by three different men. however, hye rim isn’t told what the experiment is about and doesn’t know that the men’s feelings for her are fake, or are they?

thoughts : a fortune teller and therapist love story?? sign me the f up!!! i loved seeing these two bicker every other second but overcoming their differences to be with each other. this couple is really what they mean by “you’re hot then you’re cold”, it was on, off, on, off all the time, but i also couldn’t be mad at it. the drama was easy to watch and i couldn’t not click the next episode. all characters were extremely likeable and made me wanna be friends with them too rip. after finishing this one i kinda wanna learn some psychology tricks..... they were both really cool ><

do you have any web kdrama recs? I'll do a trade and recommend Banana Actually- the whole series is 20 minutes long (at most) very good, digestible, and has some ~good~ kiss scenes.

i’ll check it out!! i do have lots of webdrama recs hehe ^^ i recommended most of them yesterday but here is a larger list of only webdramas !! it’s kinda long, so i put a keep reading !!

like- a korean webdrama that you can find on youtube starring kim yu an, kim kangmin (maybe, maybe not), yoo jungwoo (love after school), and seo ji hye- about a group of students who create a film club to make youtube videos and the dumb shit they get into, plus there’s some romance, betrayal, and fuckboys.- so so so so cute honestly. the dynamic between the characters of the club is so cute and funny, plus the love triangle has me wheezing. also the asshole fuckboy gets what he deserves which is super satisfying. it hasn’t finished airing yet, but so far it’s really cute

failing in love- korean webdrama you can find on youtube starring son sang yeon (triple fling), yang hye ji, and shin yoon seop- about a group of high schoolers who deal with falling in love, crushes, rejection, etc.- ok so the summary i gave was pretty vague but that’s because any more and i’d be exposing the whole plot. there is humor and fluff but also teenage angst, and the characters are all more complex than they first appear. i would highly recommend this show !!!

want more 19- a short webdrama you can find on youtube starring jung ha joon, sin gi hwan, jeon yoo rim, nam yoon soo, and lee jungha- a story of 5 friends in high school. A mutual crush, a one-sided love, and a rough patch for sweethearts, all taking place right around the end their senior year- OH GOD i can’t breathe this drama is so cute. it had me squealing every single episode, and it’s very lighthearted with hardly any angst

triple fling (s1)- a short choose-your-own-ending korean webdrama on youtube starring jung bomin, son sangyeon (failing in love), themanblk’s jeongyou, and themanblk’s eom sewoong- lee sehee accidentally becomes friends with the three most popular boys in school and ends up in a love square with them- alright im whipped for stuff like this so naturally i loved it. i also really liked how viewers could choose their own ending as for which boy she chose. there is a second season that i haven’t seen yet that focuses on another girl in ANOTHER love square (containing one of the guys from sehee’s love square) in which it shows which boy she actually did choose (and it was my favorite so . yay!)

when you love yourself (s1)- a short webdrama you can find on youtube starring jung mingyu (sweet revenge 2) and saet byeol .- about a girl who is heavier than her classmates who struggles with self-love and self-acceptance, and along the way finds love- god. i can’t even explain how much i loved this drama. the message is wonderful and there’s no moment where she glows up and loses weight and then gets the guy’s attention or anything: he simply loves her as who she is, no matter what weight she is, and is supportive. there’s also an episode that focuses on the queen bee girl who also struggles with weight and self-love and it’s just beautiful

my woofy poofy love / my dog-like dating- a short korean webdrama you can find on youtube starring chae ji an and kim do hoon (your imagination becomes reality)- a girl who has recently been cruelly dumped by her boyfriend brings a stray dog back to her home and wakes up to find that instead of a dog, there is a man! she happens to be looking for a roommate, and so this man (who can turn into a dog) becomes her new housemate- literally adorable. female lead is stunning and the relationship is so cute and fluffy and innocent, but the kiss is steamy as hell.

ok to be sensitive (s1)- a webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim da ye and kim youngdae (extraordinary you) and others im too lazy to put- focuses on feminist issues like sexism and sexual harassment in a college setting, which each episode focusing on one particular incident and the characters dealing with it- listen so like . this show had me emotional at some points bc of how amazing the message was. it dealt with sexual harassment, sexism, how females are expected to act, stalking, pressure to have sex… etc and basically every episode was like . you can stand up for yourself. you don’t have to “take it” just bc you’re a female, etc. also there was really cute romance uwu

ok to be sensitive (s2)- season 2 of otbs, also can be found on youtube, starring yoo hye in and lee shin young, as well as others but again im too lazy to list them all- same thing as season 1, but a different cast of main characters, and set in an office workplace. (original cast makes a cameo at the end)- the issues in season 2 were definitely a bit darker because it was set in a work place, where the main characters were worried about getting fired if they stood up for themselves, but the way things were handled was really admirable imo. also the male lead in this one is ABSOLUTELY adorable

go back diary- a 4 episode webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim ye ji and lee jong won (jaemin’s webdrama how to hate you)- about a boy who sees a girl at a karaoke bar (?) and instantly develops a crush on her. she then transfers to his school, and it tells the story of their love story after 10 years.- i’ll just say it right now. the whole drama was adorable except for the ending, which fucking sucked. literally was horrible. boycott episode 4 pls i was SO UPSET. otherwise, great webdrama

love after school (s1)- korean webdrama that can be found on youtube starring park so eun and yoo jungwoo (like)- about a couple who fell in love in high school and their story, told from 5 years later when they meet again- i love love love this bitch. LOVE. season 2 … we won’t speak of her lol. but season 1 is super cute and the ???? kiss at the end(ish)??? DEAD. literally anything with yoo jungwoo will destroy me but omg. it was fantastic

maybe, maybe not- a webdrama starring kim kangmin (like) and gong yoorim- a girl who can read minds and is an outside bc she knows what everyone is really thinking meets a guy that she can’t read the mind of- so fluffy. so cute. oh god. pls watch it’s so soft and cute

what to do with you- a korean webdrama - that is actually literally an ad for a facemask - starring lee hayoung and kim youngdae (extraordinary you)- saerom and geun are friends, but it feels like they’re something more. will they ever take the next step?- yeah this webdrama is super cute and that’s really all lol. also the bitchy girl in love after school is the best friend in this one oho

your imagination becomes reality- a webdrama that can be found on youtube starring oh se young, kim dohoon (my woofy poofy love), and jin ho eun- soram has a crush on a mysterious upperclassman, and wishes to see him again: she does, soon after. each time she makes a wish, it seems to magically come true. - yeah so like . it’s not a supernatural thing or anything, it’s just a cute college romance that’s basically every girl with a crush’s dream lol~!

crushes reverse- webdrama on youtube starring kim shi eun (miss independant jieun s2) and jung hyojun- yoo somi has a huge crush on her older sister’s longtime boyfriend, and her best friend at school happens to be his younger brother- i find the beginning hard to watch bc of the second hand embarrassment i feel when i do watch it but . it has a super cute ending and the main girl reminds me of shin hye sun so much it’s wack

how to hate you- webdrama starring nct’s jaemin, jim ji in (extraordinary you), lee jongwon (go back diary), and kim yoojin- oh miri meets her ideal type while working as a part-timer, but right before she’s about to confess, she realizes that he is her best friend’s mystery boyfriend. she asks han daekang, her new friend, to pretend to be her boyfriend for the time being. - the summary i gave was terrible but ITS RLY CUTE . also the main girl in this plays dan oh’s best friend / juda’s bully in extraordinary you and THE CHARACTERS ARE SO INCREDIBLY DIFFERENT DUDE . Legend. anyways its a bit cliche and we dont get any actual lip on lip action but its still cute lol

have a nice dessert! / drunk in good taste- drama special / webdrama starring kim hyanggi (sweet revenge 1; moment at 18) and kim mingyu (just between lovers ((as the crippled best friend’s anti fan turned romantic interest)))- chongnam loves desserts, and even has an instagram dedicated to taking photos of various deserts she eats. when her college life starts, she mistakes a classmate as an upperclassman, only to find out they’re the same age, and they become friends- listen . this shit was adorable. as when every single kim hyanggi drama, the kisses are cardboard flat and terrible but ! BUT ! the couple is super cute

a-teen (s1 & s2)- 2 season webdrama starring april’s naeun, shin yeeun (he is psychometric), shin seungho, kim donghee, kim soohyun, and ryu euihyun- about a group of friends who go through various troubles and grow closer as a group, as well as fall in love- ok so ... technically i haven’t even finished season 1 yet but !!! i know it’s a good show bc i did watch a lot of it !! plus in s1 episode 20 at 10:35 there’s a nomin cameo LOL SJKFSD there’s also a webdrama called “the guilty secret” i haven’t watched yet starring victon’s subin and others that is set at the same school as a-teen 1 and 2 and features the original cast in cameos !!

i have 3 boyfriends / boyfri3nds- short webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim ji eun, park sungwoo (produce 101 season 2 [that 30 year old dude who danced to rain’s song OMG], moon jihoo, and lee jungsik- when la hi gets in a car accident and wakes up with amnesia she finds that she has 3 men all claiming to be her boyfriend.- OK LISTEN . this show is so funny and cute. let me just say: you MUST watch to the end. that’s all i’ll say. pLS WATCH

lily fever- a short webdrama starring kim hyeyoon (just between lovers) and jung yeonjoo (witch’s romance)- kyungju needs her passport back, which her ex boyfriend has, but it turns out he left it at a friend’s place. when she arrives, the friend is leaving but says she can go inside: just be mindful of the houseguest inside...- yeah this is lesbian as fuck . it has like . hardly any plot, has a shit ton of crackheadery, and lots of STEAMY AS FUCK kisses. it literally makes like no sense though skdfksjd but if ur in the mood for some easy to watch girl pairing stuff, this is it my dude !

Child Wakes Him Up [Seokjin, Yoongi, and Hoseok]

Seokjin

It was Seokjin’s first day back in Seoul after a world tour with BTS. He snuck in about 3 that morning half asleep and drained after some flight delays. He didn’t bother to unload his suitcase as he took it to his bedroom. He changed clothes and saw his wife, Naeun, fast asleep on his side of the bed with her head in his pillow. Seokjin wanted to go see his daughter, Kyungmin, but convinced himself that he could just do that when he woke up. He got in bed, looped his arm around his sleeping wife and he fell asleep.

Naeun woke to a stuffed animal to the face. Her eyes flew open as she looked to see her two-year-old daughter attempting to climb the bed. She went to sit up, when she felt and arm around her waist. She turned to see Seokjin out like a light. Naeun smiled as she leaned down and kissed his cheek, “Welcome home.” She whispered. Kyungmin let out a whine as she gave up on crawling on the bed. Naeun escaped from Seokjin’s arm and picked up Kyungmin. “Let’s go make breakfast for daddy, Kyunnie.”

Kyungmin looked over her mom’s shoulder and her eyes lit up when she saw her dad sleeping. “DADDY!”

“Shh, he needs sleep, okay?” Kyungmin nodded as she rested her head on her mom’s shoulder. She picked up the stuffed animal and gave it to Kyungmin. Naeun noticed his suitcase and let out a sigh. She took her daughter to the living room and set her down before she surfed the channels for a kid’s station, “Kyunnie, stay here. Mommy is going to wash clothes and then make some dinner. Do you want juice?” Kyunnie nodded as she held her bunny close to her and stared at the tv. Naeun gave her a kid cup of orange juice then returned to her bedroom to retrieve the clothes from her husband’s suitcase.

While Naeun was starting the first load of laundry, Kyungmin grew bored of the show on TV and went to her bedroom. She walked out with a couple of stuff animals as she went to her parent’s room where her father slept. Kyungmin threw up the two stuffed animals before she climbed up the bed. She placed the stuff animals beside Seokjin’s head which woke him. He turned and let out a light groan as he began to wake. Kyungmin was busy trying to press the stuff animal in her dad’s arms to see that he was awake.

His arm wrapped around a stuffed animal earning giggles from Kyungmin. His eyes fluttered open to his daughter’s giggles and he turned to her, “Morning angel. Did you bring me all these babies?” Kyungmin nodded her head with such a force he could see her head pop off her neck if she was a bobble head. Seokjin reached out, moving the stuffed bear to the side, “Can daddy have a hug from his princess?” Kyungmin threw herself on top of Seokjin and he immediately wrapped his arms around her and littered her face with kisses. “I missed you so much!” He said between kisses. His exhaustion no longer bothered him as he held his daughter in his hands.

“APPA!” She squealed.

Naeun walked to the bedroom and leaned against the door, “I told you not to wake daddy, Kyunnie.”

Seokjin looked up at his wife with a bright smile, “I needed to get up. I wanted to see my beautiful girls.” He patted the bed beside him as he held Kyungmin in his arms.

“I’ll make us breakfast first.”

Seokjin whined, “we can have food later, right Kyungmin?”

“YES!”

“See now come to bed with us!”

“Yea Umma! Come to bed!” Kyungmin stood up on the bed and stomped her foot.

Naeun chuckled as she approached her daughter, “And who do you think you are ordering me around?” She reached out and tickled Kyungmin. She fell to the bed in a fit of laughter as Nauen continued her on slaughter of tickles.

Seokjin admired his two beautiful girls with a smile on his face. He definitely missed them… He missed just being a family.

Yoongi

Yoongi swore up and down to his daughter, Eunmi, that he’d be there in time for her bedtime even after his wife, Katelyn, told him not to make an empty promise. He was resentful of her comment and made the promise anyway not knowing just what she meant by empty promises. He got so much inspiration, he found himself in his studio until 4:30 in the morning. Yoongi let out a string of curses as he fished out his phone from his pocket to see several missed calls from Katelyn. There were texts too, but he was honestly too scared to read them knowing they’d be littered with his daughter’s disappointment.

He made his way into the house, his shoulders slumped, and his head hung forward. Yoongi saw the tv light reflect in the living room as he kicked off his shoes and headed to the living room. There he saw his wife fighting sleep as she bottle fed their youngest, Junho, and Eunmi beside her out like a light. Katelyn’s head bobbed as she nodded off to sleep. “Babe…” Yoongi whispered as he approached his family.

Katelyn’s eyes opened as she became more alert. Yoongi could see the exhaustion on her face. “This is why I told you not to make empty promises…” She looked down at Eunmi’s sleeping figure. “She cried herself to sleep thinking you didn’t love her.”

“Love, I swear– I didn’t–” Katelyn stood as she took the bottle from Junho’s lips after he emptied it. “The least you can do is take her to bed” she whispered coolly as she went to the kitchen with Junho in her hands and put water in the bottle to rinse out later. Katelyn patted Junho’s back as she headed off to his nursery to put him back to bed.

Yoongi reached down and picked up Eunmi, “Sorry, I’m so late.” He kissed her head as he took her to bed. After he tucked her in, he headed to his bedroom and saw Katelyn already under the covers with her back to him. He got changed and crawled into bed, “Katie, can we talk?”

“Later… I’m too pissed and tired right now.” She shuffled further from him as she shut her eyes and fell asleep.

Yoongi lay there swarmed with guilt before he finally fell asleep. He wanted to apologize, but he knew it would take more than that. Not only had he managed to piss off his wife, but he disappointed and hurt his daughter. He couldn’t even figure out which one was worse.

Later that morning, Junho woke and Katelyn shot out of bed. She glanced at Yoongi’s sleeping figure before she walked out to the nursery and picked up Junho, “Okay, okay… You’re fine.” She cooed as she set him on the dipper changer. Afterwards, she headed to the living room and placed him in his walker then wheeled him to the kitchen. “I’d leave you in the living room, but you’re such a cry baby when we disappear. So mommy is going to make breakfast for daddy and Mimi. Then I’ll get you food, okay?” She bent down to his eye level and kissed his cheek earning a smile. “That’s my baby boy.” She rubbed his head before she stood up and got to work on breakfast and coffee.

Eunmi woke up next and crawled out of her bed to sleepily strolled to her parent’s bedroom. She rubbed her eye with one hand as she reached up and turned the knob then pushed open the door. “Mommy” she whined as she approached the bed. Yoongi woke to her voice and his head groggily. Her eyes widened, “Daddy!” She crawled on the bed with a sudden enthusiasm, “You are home!”

Yoongi rubbed his face, “Morning baby girl.” He looked over and noticed his wife missing, “Where’s mommy?”

Eunmi shrugged, “With Junnie? You broke your promise.”

The guilt Yoongi forgot bubbled back, “I know baby… Daddy is so sorry. I’ll make it up today. I’ll be here all day.”

“And tuck me in?”

“Yea.” He sat up just as Eunmi threw herself at him. He kissed her head and hugged her tightly, “Mommy is really mad at daddy, yea?”

Eunmi nodded, “But give mommy a kiss and she will be happy too!” She leaned up and kissed him on the lips.

Yoongi smiled as he picked her up and got out of bed, “I’ll do that. Let’s go get ready and see mommy and Junnie, okay?” He lead his four year old to the bathroom so they could brush their teeth together. Yoongi worked through a plan to get Katelyn to talk to him and hopefully forgive him as he brushed his teeth. Maybe since Eunmi was so forgiving, maybe, just maybe, his wife would be the same.

Hoseok

Hoseok could never deny his youngest, Liam, if he ever wanted to because of how similar they were. Liam, being only two, had the same sunshine personality as his dad. Yohan, the oldest, couldn’t help but fall in love with his little brother when he first appeared. Liam was always smiling. He just brought a certain warmth with him wherever he went.

Just like his dad, Liam, loved to wake up people in the most obnoxious ways. Yohan avoided it that morning as he was already up with his mom in the living room. So, Liam trailed off to his next victim… his dad.

Hoseok was just waking up when he heard his son’s grunts as he climbed up the bed. At first he was going to help him up, but he felt Liam’s weight on his stomach. He kept his eyes closed as Liam poked his cheeks and nose. Hoseok smiled as he kept his eyes closed as Liam continued his actions. When Hoseok didn’t wake up, Liam began to sniffle and almost broke into a cry until Hoseok leaped into action. “Ahhh! You woke me up!” Hoseok grinned widely at his son. Liam laughed as Hoseok tickled him, “How could you wake up daddy like that? I thought you were my friend!” Liam let out a scream as he laughed wildly.

After they calmed down and brushed their teeth, Hoseok took Liam into the living room where he saw Elfie on the sofa stretched out and Yohan on the mat on the ground intensely watching his favorite show. Hoseok put Liam down and he ran over to his brother who calmly put him right in front of him and pointed at the tv. Hoseok made his way to his wife who looked pale, “You okay, love?” He sat by her head and put a pillow beside his lap for her to lay on.

Elfie groaned as she shifted, “Just aching… My back hurts and I’m just tired…” Hoseok ran his hand through his wife’s hair as his other went to her five month sized stomach. “Where should we take the kids?”

“We’re not taking them anywhere until you feel less pain. Then maybe we can take them to the interactive museum.”

Elfie shut her eyes and nodded, “Okay… I need to at least get them breakfast.”

Yohan stood up and stretched, “Mommy can I get milk?” Elfie nodded and went to get up, but Yohan walked out to the kitchen and returned with an already made cup of milk and a bottle. “Here!” He jerked his hand out to Liam to hand him the bottle.

Hoseok and Elfie watched the two and then looked at each other, “Well Yohan’s definitely in the big brother role for sure. I’ll make the kids breakfast in a bit, so you just rest.” Elfie nodded as her eyes closed and she went back to sleep.

Placing her drink down she thought about that answer for a while. We almost got beat for everything, but thing took a turn for the worst when my younger brother ended up went so called “missing” so you should guess what happened to me” Talking about her parents pissed her off, she hated her parents for what they did to her and her little brother. Her younger brother been “missing” for 6 years now…but she knew what had happened to me but was scared to tell the cops what happened to her brother due to her parents. “At one point, I just decided to run away and not look back I knew if I stayed much longer than it would’ve been my turn next, got a job here as a hostess and I must say I love working here it’s kind of fun meeting different people who walk through them door, but have you ever thought have some of them ever walk back out?..Just kidding!”

And the gang in general? Well of course a very close friend of mine did of course! He was one of my locals who would always come see me. He even gave me the name Ruby. He had always been a “mentor” figure to me since he was so nice, he would even buy me things everytime he would come and visit. At some point he actually told me about the gang and like I said I first joined for the excitement, But I ended up becoming good used I learned how to make drugs and one of my most popular ones is called Honey so which that I’m more than just a pretty face love. Gives you a nice long high and doesn’t wear off so easily which is why it’s so popular makes you feel so relax after taking it, mostly popular among women mostly isn’t it a shocker right?. Than I got into weapons and boom I became a weapon supplier which also brings in the cash! As you must noticed I love money and living the luxury life.”

What they didn’t noticed was that she slipped something into their drinks while they wasn’t looking, watching them drink every sip of their last drink actually made her smile a little. One thing that Ruby wasn’t was stupid, she always wanted to try out her new drug out for a while now but didn’t have anybody to try it out on. “Red” was the name of it, she needed to know the side effects and much more before she started giving it towards the dealers to sell it. Naeun noticed how they were becoming, they were more relaxed, placing their hands on their chest is the meaning of their heart racing, how much they were sweating and the hallucination was probably kicking in as she examine the other, she gave them each a small amount, a amount that wouldn’t kill them but wouldn’t let them remember what happened in the last couple of hours they were here. Walking towards the men as she bend down towards them as she stroke their hair softly watching them suffer before letting out a smile.

“Well gentlemen you really thought I was stupid huh? I’m sorry sweeties but you thought wrong and now that I think about it, it was real stupid for you guys to just walk in here without one of us noticing that you were up to something.” Signaling one of the male workers to come over to get them out of here, Ruby started walking towards the back to get her stuff and just head on home before she looked towards the pair one final turn. “I’m sure you guys won’t remember anything when you wake up and if you do just tell whoever you working with to watch their back. Honestly you better be glad I didn’t even tell them to take you back to the hideout because that’s where your nightmares will come true.” Blowing them a kiss as she watched the workers dragged them out of the place. “Thank you for your time gentlemen, have a "wonderful” night!“

description: you accidentally snapchat the gorgeous Jung Jaehyun instead of your drunk friend, and now things are a little more complicated than you’d have liked.

Friday rolls around quicker than you expect it to, and while in class, you and Jaehyun decide it'd be better to work on the project at one of your houses rather than the library, so you can have access to lots of art supplies for the poster you're supposed to make. Jaehyun has a club meeting after school, and you have to drop your sister off at cheer practice at four, so you decide to meet at his place at around five. He warns you his mom will be home, and that she's a little bit overbearing, but you are basically a mom charmer (all your friends' moms love you), so you just laugh that off.

Naeun jumps out of the car before you even come to a complete stop, shouting obscenities at you about being late that your mother would basically pass out hearing come from her younger child's mouth. You do feel bad that you had gotten your sister to practice nearly half an hour after it started, but Joy (and the other girls in the background) had called you and insisted you relay everything that happened at Jaehyun's house to her via text every ten minutes. You'd had to argue to get to the ten minute mark for a while, because she wanted five minutes plus a call every half hour. And so you'd ended up leaving the house late.

And now it's four thirty, and you need to be on your way to Jaehyun's, since he lives across town.

Your ringtone goes off throughout the speakers of the car as you make a U-turn and leave the cheer building's parking lot, and you absentmindedly tap the answer button without looking to see who it is.

"Y/N!" Johnny sing-songs through the receiver. "My lovely child!" "Excuse me?" you raise a brow, briefly looking at your phone to make sure it's actually Johnny, and then to put Jaehyun's address in maps. Yeah, you've lived around here your whole life, but you still don't really know the streets and how to get to specific places without help. "I'm calling because you told me you'd come to the party tonight," Johnny says, carrying a lilting tone in his voice. "I definitely didn't say that I was coming to a party," you shake your head, chuckling. "You literally just told me you wanted to hang out tonight. No mention of a party." Johnny' quiet for a moment. "...Okay. But you're still coming over!" he pipes, obviously trying to breeze over your brazen response. "I can't, actually. I have to work on a project." you turn left at Siri's suggestion, the route time reading that it was only a five minute drive. So you would end up getting there early. Hopefully not before Jaehyun himself. "A project? What? Why would you do that instead of hanging out with me?" Johnny says disbelievingly. You can practically see the shocked expression on his face. "Because it's due on Monday, and my partner and I still have a lot of work to do." Johnny seems to consider this briefly, but his next words make you groan out loud. "Okay, but how about this: Taeyong is going to be at the party! Huh? Amazing, right?"

"That doesn't do much to convince me, Johnny." you reply honestly. Taeyong is handsome and all, but you still haven't replied to his text, and unless Jaehyun flat out rejects you in some way today, you don't really have a desire to see him. "Well, I told him you'd be here and that's why he's coming, so you should really come." Johnny starts to sound desperate. "Come on, Y/N! Just half-ass the project in like two hours and then come over! I'll let you sleep in my bed again!" "I'm not sleeping over at your house anymore," you roll your eyes, taking a right turn into Jaehyun's (supposed) neighborhood. "I'll let you know, okay?" "Fine," Johnny says, sounding dejected. "Ttyl." "Ttyl." you reply, and he hangs up.

You ring Jaehyun's doorbell at four forty-five, and are really hoping that he's home. He did say his meeting was after school, and usually they're not too much longer than an hour or two by your experience, so he should be... You're just nervous that you'll be alone in his house. When you've literally never been in it before.

The door swings open to reveal a tall, lithe woman with short dark hair and kind, lifted eyes that resemble Jaehyun's. She smiles and they curve up just like his do.

"You must be Y/N! Come on in, sweetheart, Jae told me you'd be coming by tonight!" she ushers you into the house, and you take your shoes off quickly before smiling back and following her into what you assume is the kitchen. "I'm Jae's mom, call me Younghee." "Y/N," you say, smiling kindly at her as she sits you down at the kitchen table, scurrying around the kitchen. You take a look around as she talks. "I'll grab you some water, dear– you know, Jae's said a lot about you, he always talks about how he'd be failing history if it weren't for your help!" Younghee shoots you a grateful smile as she sets a glass of water down in front of you and takes the seat to your left.

"Oh?" you ask, cocking your head. You didn't think you did too much tutoring regarding Jaehyun in history. "Yes!" Younghee pipes. "He told me you really help him focus, and that he was really glad your teacher never changed your seats so that he could sit next to you. Why, I'm not surprised, considering how lovely you are!" Your eyes widen, awkwardly chuckling at the comment. "Oh, thanks," you say, taking a sip of the water. "He's upstairs showering right now, by the way. He was hoping you'd be a bit late rather than early, but I'm glad you're ahead of the clock! It's a good trait, I think." she reaches over and pats your head affectionately, and you smile again, moreso just to seem polite. Yeah, you can see how Jaehyun would call his mom 'overbearing'. It's not bothering you too much, though. "It's no problem, I don't mind waiting," you say, glancing around at the kitchen area.

It's connected to the living room, the only separation the split between tile and wooden floors. The walls are painted a calm yellow, and there's dozens of pictures of Jaehyun hung on them. The decoration around the space was crowded, mostly unorganized, and you figure that's because of Younghee's clear scatter-brained tendencies, but it looks like a home, lived in, and you find that you like it a lot.

"Mom?"

You and Younghee both look behind you, only to see Jaehyun standing at the top of the stairs, wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his hips. He lets out a surprised yelp when he catches your eye and hops around the edge of the staircase so as to hide himself. You snap back to the cup of water in front of you, knowing a furious blush must be spreading across your cheeks– that body, that wet hair... God, was he gorgeous–

"Yes?" Younghee replies calmly, as though both you and her son hadn't just gone through massive embarrassment. Jaehyun's voice comes out meeker than you've heard. "I was gonna ask if you wanted to get Y/N some tea ready, but, uh, I guess she's here, so... I'm just going to get changed now."

You hear quick and loud footsteps, and you guess that Jaehyun has scurried off to put on some actual clothes. Damn. Well, only kind of damn, because while you'd love to ogle his figure, you'd never get anything done that way.

"Do you like tea, sweetheart?" Younghee asks, placing her hand over yours that are wrapped around the water glass. "I can fix you some now, if you'd like?" "Oh, no, water's fine," you say, smiling and nodding, hoping the heat in your cheeks has died down. Younghee looks about to reply when a loud ding goes off from your pocket. You bite your lip, looking down at it. "Go ahead, dear, I don't mind if you text at the table," Younghee assures you, patting your hand before lifting it off. You nod, pulling your phone out and unlocking it to see a message in the groupchat.

Updates??? Are you there yet???

You sigh. Joy. Of course.

You choose to omit that you've seen him half naked fresh out of the shower. You'll keep that little detail to yourself.

Okay. Remember, ten minutes.

Yes, you'd remember. You roll your eyes and pocket your phone, only to hear those same loud footsteps forming a rhythm behind you. You turn over your shoulder and find Jaehyun, dressed in a red hoodie, ripped jeans, and the same wet hair taking the last step of the stairs, and then casually strolling towards you and his mom. He shoots you a somewhat bashful smile, running his hand through his hair to push it away from his face. Yeah, you nearly pass out on the spot from that visual, but manage to contain yourself and just smile back.

"I see why you like Y/N so much, son! She's really such a doll," Younghee chirps as she stands from her place at the table. You do the same, watching Jaehyun's reaction to his mom's words. He chuckles, tongue running over his lip as he looks at the ground. "Ah, yeah, she's cool." You don't say anything, just interlock your fingers in front of you, swaying gently from side to side as you wait for Jaehyun to offer a place to go to work on the project. "So," Younghee says. "You two can stay in here, or there's the upstairs sitting room, or your room if you keep the door open, Jae. I promise mom won't bother you too much!" she reaches over and ruffles Jaehyun's hair, and he shrinks away. "Mom," he whines, and you giggle to yourself. "Where to?" he asks, turning towards you. You shrug. "Your house, you decide, I guess." Jaehyun seems to think on it, before nodding to himself. "All my school stuff is in my room, if you don't mind being up there."

Well, you highkey do mind, because holy shit you're going into your crush's room and that's a huge thing to be doing your first time in his house. But he seems cool with it. So you will pretend to be as well.

"Sure," you say, shrugging again. "Great," says Jaehyun, then extends his arm and grins. "Right this way."

Jaehyun's room is... pretty much exactly what you'd expect from an eighteen year old boy. Kinda messy, although you imagine he'd tried to clean up in case you did come in here. Basketball trophies lined up on a bookshelf that had no books on it, various other sports awards and ribbons strewn along the walls and his dresser. His backpack is atop the bed, which is made, and all the notes he must have taken during class the past few days are lying on the rug by it.

"You can put your stuff down anywhere," Jaehyun says, and you realize you've sort of just been standing there, looking around, without actually saying anything. "Right," you say, a nervous smile on your face as you drop your backpack on the ground and settle down next to it. Jaehyun raises his brows as he sits on the bed, reaching into his bag. "You can sit on the chair, you know," he chuckles as he points to the desk and rolling chair on the other side of the room, but you just shrug. "Well, the poster will only fit on the floor, so." "Oh, right!" Jaehyun stands, reaching over behind his bed to pull out one of those tri-folding cardboard posters that fifth graders use for science fairs. "How's this for the poster?" You chuckle. "It's perfect." He sends you a cheeky thumbs up, and then settles down beside you on the floor, organizing the space to make room for everything. "So, I was thinking that we could put the title here, and then the rubric says to have at least five sources cited somewhere on the poster, so we should put that at the bottom..."

Jaehyun talks, but all you can think about is how you don't mind this. Just being here with him, despite it only being as partners for a project. It's okay if he never asks you out– because it's Jaehyun, and as long as you can see him once in a while, talk and laugh and study together, everything's good.

"Y/N?"

You snap your eyes up at the sound of your name. "Hm?" Jaehyun breaks into a smile as he catches your gaze. "Were you zoning out?" You let out a bashful laugh, brushing a strand of hair out of your face as you look back down at the poster and all your work. "Yeah, sorry. So I'll start the title part?"

You haven't really been faithful to your promise of updating the girls every ten minutes. It's been two and a half hours, and you've texted Joy three times total, all of which said something along the lines of, everythings normal. dw. And nothing else.

You and Jaehyun are nearly done with the project. Realistically, you could have finished an hour ago, if you'd been efficient with your time, but you'd gotten off track multiple times. Once, he made a reference to Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and seeing as that was your favorite 80's movie, you had to discuss the intricacies of it for at least twenty minutes. Then, his mom had asked if you were hungry, and although you said no, she brought you a plate of snacks and insisted that you come downstairs and eat them. You explained your entire college plan to her as small talk. That took a while, too.

But here you are now, flipping the poster over as Jaehyun digs in his art supply box from ten years ago (or so he says) for some sharpies to sign your names and hour on the back as your teacher requested.

"Got one! Do you think red will show up?" Jaehyun asks, turning over his shoulder, holding up a miniature sized red sharpie. You laugh. "How can you be a senior in high school and only have a mini red sharpie?" Jaehyun rolls his eyes. "That wasn't a good answer to my question. Honestly, do you think it'll show up? Because if not, I gotta go downstairs and look in my dad's office–"

And there goes your ringtone, blaring out loud as usual, because you never turn off the ringer on your phone. For some reason.

You scramble to grab your phone which you'd thrown on Jaehyun's bed at some point, looking at him to make sure it was okay to answer before you did so. He shrugged with a half smile, so you swiped to answer the call, not really looking at the id. It had to be either Joy or your mom, anyway.

"Y/N? Are you there?"

Oh. Great.

"Taeyong?" you ask, sitting down on the floor and avoiding Jaehyun's eyes. You felt his gaze snap onto you as soon as you said the name out loud, and it burns while the person in question talks. "Yeah, it's me," Taeyong says, a smile evident in his voice. "Johnny said you might be coming tonight. I was wondering if you'd be over soon, since it's like... seven thirty-ish." You tongue the inside of your cheek. "Um... I mean, I would, but I'm kind of busy right now..." "Ah, shame," Taeyong chuckles, and you can picture him shrugging. "I was hoping I'd see you again?"

You know the question isn't just in reference to tonight. He's asking if you want to go out with him, in general. If sometime soon, you want to go on a date.

You almost look up to find Jaehyun, like you need to ask his permission. But he's not your anything, he's just a friend, and he's already made it clear that he doesn't care whether you do or don't have an interest in Taeyong.

"Uh, yeah," you say, fingers tapping. "I'll let you know when I'm free."

The words feel wrong as you say them.

"Great!" Taeyong says, his voice much brighter than when he'd been asking. "Talk to you soon, then?" "Yeah," you reply. "Bye," says Taeyong. "Bye," you say, and hit end call.

You bite your lip as you set your phone down, and finally look at Jaehyun, extending your hand.

"Sorry about that. I'm sure red will show up fine." He stares at you, expression unreadable, before he runs his tongue over his lower lip and speaks. "Are you going out with that guy? Taeyong?" You're surprised, and you're sure your face must show it. "...He's not my boyfriend, if that's what you're asking," you say cautiously, sitting back on your heels and dropping your arm. "But are you going to go out with him? Like, on a date?"

You brush your hair behind your ear, eyes flicking between the poster and just to the left of Jaehyun, not really wanting to look directly at him. You don't know why, but his tone makes you feel like you're answering wrong if you say yes.

"I mean... yeah, probably."

You catch Jaehyun's eye by accident just then, and his whole form seems to constrict, tighten, like that response was stressful or something. He stares at you, brows drawing ever so slightly together, before a single word escapes his lips.

"Don't."

Your eyes widen, your own body tensing as you look at him. Your mouth drops slightly open, gears in your head turning as you try to make sense of what he's just said.

"What do you mean, 'don't'?" you ask, your voice weak. Jaehyun looks down, breaking the blistering eye contact between you two. "I mean, don't go out with him." "Why not?" you ask before you can keep the words from slipping out. Jaehyun sighs, a subtle annoyance spreading across his features. "Isn't it obvious, Y/N?" you don't reply, and he looks up again, eyes meeting yours. "I like you. I liked you back in freshman year when we sat at the same table in math, and I thought it went away since we never talked after that, but then we had the project at the beginning of this year, and..." he trails off, looking down once again and shaking his head. "I'm sorry. Obviously you kissed that guy and– it's stupid, I'm sorry."

He's sitting there in front of you, avoiding your eyes, avoiding your presence, and you have no words.

You've liked Jung Jaehyun for ages, and he likes you too.

"Jaehyun," you start, a smile spreading across your face. You're itching with excitement. "No, don't say it's okay," he says, shaking his head violently. "I know I just ruined our friendship, you don't have to pretend or anything," "Jaehyun, don't be an idiot," you say, a big, bright smile now taking up your whole expression. His head snaps up, a frown lacing his features as he takes in your smile. "What–" he begins, but all you can do is cut him off. "Clearly I like you too," you say, a laugh bubbling up from your chest. You know your face must be red, but you don't care. "I told you, I only kissed Taeyong because we were playing spin the bottle and I didn't want everyone to make fun of me for not doing it."

Jaehyun looks appalled. Shocked. Shook, you might even say.

"What?" he asks, eyes wide. "But then– why did you agree to go out with him?" You laugh again, hands pressing to your hot cheeks. "Because it seemed like you didn't care that day in the library! Ah, how stupid have I been! I can't believe this!" "Wait, so you're saying– so you're saying this is a mutual thing?" Jaehyun asks, and you can see the way his face begins to light up as you nod quickly. "You also like me?" "Yes!" you exclaim, laughing still. You feel bright, you feel warm. "Yes!" Jaehyun exclaims back, hopping onto his feet and striding over to you before pulling you up by the hands, lacing his fingers with yours. "This isn't a dream, right?" he asks, that gorgeous, sunshine smile that you adore so much across his face. You shake your head, although it feels like one to you, too. "No dream," you say, reaching up with one hand and pinching his cheek. Jaehyun laughs, his bubbly, sweet, contagious laugh. "Perfect," he says, lifting the hand that you let go of and brushing your hair back out of your face. "Is it weird if I kiss you right now?" You giggle, shaking your head, and Jaehyun laughs again, under his breath as he rests his forehead against yours. "You're not weird, Jung Jaehyun." you say, looping your free arm around his neck to draw him closer. "Perfect," he repeats, and his lips are on yours.

INSIGHT :

I was torn between a few of the characters that were released before her, but after reading Remy in bed the night before my first final of the semester, I knew that she was the one for me. Everything about her biography, from her two left feet, to the little fuzzy roommate she sometimes throws a stiletto at when it catches her off guard, to the fact that she’s “disliked by everyone”, made me fall in love with her. I could instantly see myself spending the rest of my days with this Certified Mess™ of a woman. I know it sounds like I’m proposing to marry her, but I would gladly do so if it saves her from tripping along the cobblestone paths on the way to her work. She’s oddly charming, the kind that you didn’t think you would like, and she’s just not afraid to be herself. She doesn’t have a filter and she may rub people the wrong way, but that’s their problem not hers. All she wants in life is to be happy and carefree, is that too hard to ask ?

HEADCANONS :

MI CASA, SU CASA ; Remy was her sister’s roommate first; having let herself in one night with her large pink suitcase in tow after having had enough of their family home in the 20th Arrondissement. How tacky was it to still be living at home at twenty-one, when her sister had moved out years ago to attend university. So she sauntered over early in the evening when her sister was studying and wheedled her way into her heart and her apartment. From then on, she crashed on her sister’s couch for over a year, and then when Remy’s sister started dating this cute intellectual from the history department of her school, it was like Remy had the apartment to herself — especially during the lovers’ honeymoon phase when they would go out into the city almost every night. It was nice that her sister was dating and happy, at least until he decided to move into their already cramped space. He always tried to clean up around the house, namely in Remy’s little area, and always pointed out some cheap rooms for rent or studios to her. ( “That’s such a cute space ! But I don’t think it’ll fit all three of us.” ) But then they started to get even more domestic and suddenly Remy felt like the ultimate third wheel, which is not ideal at all. She’s a pretty young ( single ) thing in the city of love, and if the offer ever came up, she couldn’t bring someone back to an apartment that had all the accouterments of a serious relationship. There are pictures of her sister and her boyfriend being cute and kissy for goodness sake ! Not at all the bachelorette vibe she wants. So she applied for the job at the theatre for the money and finally moved out. And her sister and her boyfriend were so nice about it too ! They helped her pack her things and move into her new flat, and even brought her a little housewarming gift.

THIRD EYE ; If you ever cross Remy on the street, there is a 75% chance that she will pull you aside and tell you about your aura or your zodiac that day. She’s got a certified third eye for these kind of things. There was this old lady in the park that Remy would pass on the way to school growing up, and she would always talk about prophecies and read the little lines on her palm. Remy always found it charming. In fact, she even asked the sweet lady to teach her. In her high school years, Remy spent most of her allowance money on crystals and medallions and how-to books from the incense filled shops on the outskirts of town. She would watch youtube videos and search sketchy websites about astrology and tea leaf readings. The hobby has died down years ago, she’s not that adamant about it anymore, but she’ll still turn to giving unsolicited advice and palm readings to whomever she feels has a good vibe.

JE M’APPELLE ; She changed her name the moment she found out she could, all chubby-cheeked and sparkling eyes. It’s not that she didn’t like the name Juim Moon ( or was it Moon Juim, she’s seen her mama write it both ways on forms that she’s not sure which ways is proper anymore ) it’s just that she didn’t FEEL like a Juim. She never really did if she were to be honest. Which makes her sound like an ungrateful brat, her grandmother named her after all, but when you don’t feel it you don’t feel it. When she started secondary school, she introduced herself as Remy — a new brand to distance herself from the mess and a half that was a 14-year-old Juim. She was a new woman, with a new name and a new moniker. Remy Bourque. Both chosen from things she came across in the streets, a street sign here, a clothing label there. She tested and selected various variations until there was a combination she could see herself sticking with. It was cute and utterly French-sounding, things that she saw herself as, and she wouldn’t want anything less.

QUESTION ONE : What was your childhood like?

‘ Well, ’ she straightens up in her seat, flipping her hair back and clearing her throat just the slightest like she’s getting ready for a speech. ‘ I was born and raised in Paris, believe it or not, just across from the Square Jardin Gare de Charonne — well, not really just across, but like in a complex near the gardens. My papa was a pharmacy tech and my mama tried her hand at a bunch of jobs over our childhood. She checked groceries at one point, and worked in a flower shop, and did some clerical work for a law office. Really simple stuff that got her out of the house when me and my sister were off at school. And my sister and I, ’ Remy gestured with her hand, her wrist limp, ‘ we were just close as can be. I mean, she is just fantastic — she’s in school right now, she wants to be a pharmacist like our papa. She’s a real smart one, you know ? It’s just too bad she’s gotten kind of boring over the years. ’

She makes a full stop, then looks at the others in the room, ‘ Oh please don’t tell her I said that. I love her and all, it’s just that the stuff she talks about can be a bit dull. ’ She gives a small smile, grateful for the discretion. ‘ Okay, back to your question. Um, ’ she thinks for a second, trying to gather her thoughts, ‘ my childhood was great — in a word. I come from humble beginnings, my parents never spoiled me, and I think I turned out pretty great. ’

QUESTION FOUR : Where is your favorite place in Paris?

‘ Oh this is easy ! ’ A full smile stretches across her face as she leans in, ‘ There’s this café on the way to the Theatre that I pass every morning. It’s usually not that crowded when I walk by, just a few commuters going in and out for breakfast, but I always just have to stop and smell the freshly baked croissants and the coffee that they just brewed. Every time I get my paycheck, I go in for a baguette and their special pâtisserie of the day. It just reminds me of all the things I love about Paris, you know ? ’

QUESTION SEVEN : What is your favorite way to pass the time?*

She looks at the others sheepishly, like she’s holding a secret, but let’s be honest, she doesn’t hold many secrets to her heart. ‘ People always give me strange looks when I say this, but I love people watching, ’ she admits. ‘ It’s kind of a weird, guilty pleasure that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. Like I just get so invested into these people’s lives when they walk by, and I come up with these histories and motivations for them. It’s like a game of Sims, except I can’t tell people to go into a pool and then take the ladder to get out away. ’ She giggles, the noise high and flitting, ‘ Gosh, that’s so bad to say. It’s fun though, if you have nothing else grabbing your attention. ’
