I remember the first time I watched rotg, my personal theory was that Jack’s lil sis (emily?? Flee?? Mary??) reincarnated as the wind. Maybe she had some idea who this strange danger-prone boy was, but all she knew is that this was gonna be her bestie for like 300 years and more.

I know it's a little late, but since yesterday I've been making this drawing to honor the fact that Rise of the Guardians has already celebrated more than 10 years of release!! ❄️✨❄️✨

This is undoubtedly one of the movies that has marked my childhood the most (in turn, my favorite movie of all Dreamworks) and I've had such a growing attachment to it (that my inner child literally told me to add myself to the drawing with age I had where the movie premiered xd)

I would have liked it to have been successful enough in its time because it has so much to give...but hey, without or with that success, ROTG has a very important place in my heart ❤️❤️❤️

"Why do you keep coming back to Burgess?  You could make dozens of different nests for yourself all over the world, if you need stopping points. Doesn’t it weigh you down, being so connected to one place?  Why don’t you want to be free like us?”

The question wasn't unexpected, coming as it did from air-spirits, who were known to be a bit... flighty.

Jack looked over at the nearest of the boreads coasting alongside him on the currents of his friend Wind, and grinned.

“I am free, guys. North lives at the Pole, Sandy has his Island, Tooth has her Palace, Bunny has the Warren. And me, well…”

The house belonging to the Bennetts came into view.

He broke ranks with the confused boreads and soared downwards to the backyard garden, where Jamie and Sophie were working alongside their mom. He called upwards, “...home is more than a stopping point. And this place is my home.”
