SoulCrash Update: I haven't talked for a while here, and a lot has happened, so here we go

Yeah, so, I think I did forget to mention it here on tumblr, which sucks, since this is where I first started posting SoulCrash. But, I do have a couple of updates to do with it

So, main thing. I'm going to try to do my best to finish SoulCrash this year. We're not too far away from the ending, and I've already had this running for... 7 years??? (I legitimately had forgotten how long ago I started working on this version). I really wanna give you guys a satisfying ending to this, but I also don't want to rush the chapters. My most recent work on it I feel has been my best. Although, I am working with knowledge of the story I have yet to give you guys. I promise, it'll all make sense

Secondly. Once SoulCrash is finished, that's not the end of this verse. I do have 2 other side stories I want to do in mind, which do tie into SoulCrash. They are short, and I have teased them before, so I'll just drop their names Celestial Hunters: This one will be mostly just fluff, with nothing major happening in it. Here are the two character designs for the protagonists. And yes, you will recognize them

Luminary: This one will be the more important of the 2, since it will be tying in to the main story, specially with the events currently happening. Here's the main character for it as well

Along with this, if SoulCrash does get popular enough, I do have the follow up story already in mind, so if it ever gets to that, I will pull that out for more of it

Now, for some more important stuff

So, remember that one intermission I did before the most recent chapters? The Grim Reaper one? Yeah, so, at first, I considered it to be dubiously canon, but with some recent changes I've thought for Celestial Hunters, that intermission is now fully non-canon, so don't expect anything from it to come back.

And the most important part. While I do feel this version of SoulCrash is the best one I've made... it has several problems. A lot of it coming from how naive I was when I first started writing, and just a lot of just... completely wrong stuff. That, and with how long it took me to write it out, I straight up forgot stuff I had already written before. Plus, some character motivations are just fucked due to the first person perspective the story mainly uses.

And so, I do want to say, once I'm finished writing SoulCrash, consider this mostly a first draft. I do plan on improving a lot of parts, since I want to make a videogame about it, and the improvements will be there mostly.

Honestly, I can't wait for you guys to see everything that I have planned for the future. I hope you will enjoy

I am so sorry about this, but I honestly do not want to make it seem like I stopped doing this. It’s been a bit hard coming up with what to do for this battle, being the main part that I never thought of what power up I was going to give to Ness (Which will be coming next chapter). But for now, I wanted to leave this here. Honestly, I think this has been my favorite chapter so far, seeing as it was the one that took me the longest and I had a clear idea of what powers Iago would have.
