I’m watching Smoke Signals (free on YouTube atm) and Thomas is #spiritualgoals

He reminds me of Shingebiss, the strange little brown duck— an OIT (Old Indian Tale, lol— that acronym actually stands for Old Indian Trick but we’re gonna borrow it today)

Victor is mean to him and Thomas never reacts in anger or retribution

At 12 years old, he had a dream and it told him to go to Spokane and stand by the falls.

So he did— he walked his ass all the way to there and it was no small distance

He sat there, waiting for a vision.

At 12 years old!

He had no car even, and he just found his way— he didn’t even ask for help or cry that no one would take him. Well he probably didn’t ask bc he knew no one could. Nonetheless he found a way.

Also his “vision” amounted to just meeting Victor’s dad, which was exactly what was meant to happen. (Probably will make sense further in the film, I trust that— this is a great movie)

Did he get angry that no bigger “vision” happened?

No.

Did he stop listening to his dreams?

Also no.

He remains kind and good, despite others being the opposite toward him— he maintains his integrity and does not strike back and he also maintains faith, trusting Spirit
