Your Sun sign is still important!
I repeat…
Your Sun sign is still important!
Tumblr media
-due to how popular Sun signs has become over the years, I’m starting to think people are dismissing it once they learn about their other natal placements.
-your Sun is still the most important. Without the Sun, we have nothing!
The Sun in astrology rules our:
-life force and vitality.
-our Heart/heart space(chakra)
-our passions
-how we are seen or how we shine in the our world
-our soul mission
-traditionally our fathers
-children/our inner child
-our creativity
-romance
-what brings us joy
-fame
-anything that’s fun related
-acting/theater
-how we compliment others/how they compliment us
Theres so much more I could write out but I’ll be here all day😅if you want to see what all the Sun rules over, I recommend Rex E Bills book “the rulership book.”
It talks about all of the planet, signs and houses and what they rule over in deep detail.
Don’t sleep on your Sun sign yall

Astrology 101: Why Don't I Resemble My Sun Sign?, Part 1
Most likely, if you truly believe that you don't resemble your Sun sign, it's because you don't actually know the entirety of the archetype of that sun sign. Almost always, in a given generation and a given culture, there will be a more accepted part of the archetype of your sign - that is where sign generalization comes in.
It is likely, by the percentages, that you will share the general characteristics of your sun sign in the most socially acceptable way because, well, we're humans and social animals. Not many people actually break the norms. There will always be some that do though (and if you are one - I'm fucking proud of you.)
I will give a very easy example with Leo, the Lion.
There are two archetypes of Leo that are socially acceptable in modern American culture. They are remarkably similar in some ways: they want to be seen, they want to be on top, they want to have all of the friends, and they want to make the decisions. It's oversimplified here, but I can't resist carrying the Lion imagery all the way through this. Let's call them the benevolent rulers and the tyrants.
Tumblr media
I would not fault any introverted or socially anxious Leo out there to look at the stylization of the Leo archetype and goes: oh, that's not me.
But those are just the Leos that we notice on the street (because they've hired a parade because it's their birthday AKA "Leo Month".) Those are the kind of Leos that we roll our eyes at during parties. This is your co-worker who has to befriend everybody in the office.
There are other types of Leos out there. After all, lions are just big cats, and do you really want to claim that all cats have the same personalities? Not all Leos want to stand up in front of everybody and take the throne or be the center of attention. With personality traits, the pendulum always swings in both directions.
I submit for your consideration another famous lion icon:
Tumblr media
Let's just put it in nicer more modern terms and call him the Scaredy Cat. Not everybody takes to the limelight, even if they are thrust into it. Not everybody wants to be royalty. Some people just want to blend in and nobody blends in better than a cat. Whether a Scardey Cat or a Shadow, there are many Leos who move much more silently through the world than your red carpet type. You just don't notice them. They don't advertise that they are Leos.
I have found that even the most introverted Leos often like being the center of attention in their own time and in their own way. Like any cat, you can coax them out with food and an activity that they greatly enjoy. And due to being ruled by the sun, when they forget to be self-conscious and get really into whatever they are doing, they still light up the room.

Your sun sign in astrology
Your sun sign in astrology is who you think you are and the reason many people say astrology is fake.
If your sun sign is in Capricorn, you aren't the way you are because of that. Do you know how many people are born when the sun is in Capricorn? So many, all of you cannot be the same.
So let's look at the meaning of the sun and rulership.
Each zodiac sign is ruled by a planet, but some signs have more than one planet ruling them. Each planet, also rules a house.
There are twelve zodiac signs in the order Aries, Taurus,Gemini, Cancer,Leo,Virgo,Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Each zodiac has a house, to make it easier think of houses as location. That makes twelve houses, each house ruled by a planet.
The Sun rules the fifth sign, which rules the fifth house, which is the house of fun, creativity, children, the stage(acting). The fifth sign is Leo.
The sun is like a spotlight on you on the stage. So when the sun is in Capricorn, the sun is shining a light on Capricorn. Making Capricorn visible and to stand out. So of course, when the spotlight is on you, being seen is what you want.
However, you are also what's outside the spotlight. Just because you can't see outside the spotlight, doesn't mean there is nothing there.
So when you put your details in a birth chart calculator, you get to see everything that is away from the sun(spotlight). If you have your exact birth time and birth location, then you can check which house your sun is in for more insight on a highlighted theme of your life.
For instance you are a Capricorn sun and Aries rising, your sun is in your tenth house. So you might find yourself being very traditional and working hard.
Also, the degree of your sun can tell you a lot about yourself.
You could all be Capricorns born in the same year and date but your degrees are different.
Capricorn at fifteen degrees may communicate things sternly, Capricorn at four degrees may find themselves sticking to traditional methods of cooking and cleaning, Capricorn at eight degrees may behave like an accountant. Remember, the position of the sun in your chart will tell you more.

The Ascendant Sign: the Soul, Through the Spirit, With the Ego
TLDR: Ascendant & Sun signs briefly defined, The Moon, plus a hypothetical situation, and practical reminder of what to ask ourselves about.
As the Ascendant rises across the eastern horizon at each birth, it imbues us with the purest core of self-hood. This is the God/dess-spark which is still without ego; the part of a person which is still closer to the Divine, than it is and could possibly be during life itself. We are all spirits having the human experience; parts of one soul which is Divinity Itself.
This is why the chart is begun at the Ascendant, and why the Ascendant sign (most-directly-connected-to-Soul) is as important as the Sun (ego) sign. We’re parts of Creation, exploring Itself, and this ego-based experience is of equal importance with working to define exactly what Divinity is and how It functions.
The Ascendant brightly colours our future experiences, with our earliest memories. How do we naturally long to contribute to the world? How do people perceive us, as we give away clues to who we are, through body language, and regular vocal intonations? This is in the Ascendant sign.
Of almost equal importance is the Moon sign, as the Moon reflects egoic emotions generated through the Sun, thus intending to heighten those emotions. When worked with consciously, the Moon can help us to figure out that our emotions are only perceived as heightened because of this mirroring effect, and that sometimes we are merely unshielded, and picking up on the emotions of others.
There is a lot of misinformation online claiming that the Ascendant is only the mask we wear so that people don’t see our true selves. Rarely is the wider-reaching reason for this explored.
The ego spawns vulnerability.
We want something, and there is only one of that something.
We think we need it, because we have allowed ourselves to become attached to it.
It can be something trivial; there’s only one jar of the best peanut butter left at the store. Someone else is also reaching for it. You weren’t fast enough. And so because you’ve had a long annoying day at work, where your boss wanted you to do extra work without being paid extra, and you went along with it for job security. Meanwhile, one of your kids was sent home early sick, so you lost half a days work, and when all of the kids got home they were screaming about different things and wouldn’t settle down, so you thought your head would explode. Your spouse came home and you took the chance to get out of there; roll down the window and go for a drive. You want to distract yourself from all of the stress with food. You’re too tired to go to another store, and you need to sleep early for work tomorrow, so you’re pressed for time. So instead of sighing as you fail to get the last jar, and maybe buying something else or just going home, you yell at the person who got “your” peanut butter, like a child. Maybe you even swear. You know it’s wrong as you do it, but you do it anyway.
Why?
Vulnerability.
Some might say it’s only selfishness. It’s that too.
But it starts with vulnerability.
And yet we also manage to surprise ourselves when we finally lose it?
We’re taught it’s socially unacceptable to admit as adults that stresses are piling up, and becoming overwhelming. Because then we would have to admit that we would feel lesser than. We would have to confront our inner wounds; no not our past wounds, because we can run from ourselves, but we can’t hide. Vulnerability = denial, and perpetuation piles up more and more dissonant debris within our EM fields; fogging our brains.
No, we don’t have emotions. Only children would cry. I’m fine. No, there’s nothing in my tone. I have a happy family and everyone is fine.
The Ascendant is a return to the deepest recesses of the inner self, to where we remember in some way, who we were, where we came from, and how we can re-embody ourselves towards more idealistic thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviours. This is the core which must be reached, breached, and cleansed; the fire that must be stoked, and the steam that must be allowed to waft gently, yet fully outside of our physical bodies, and away from our EM fields.
We were Divine.
And just because we’re less Divine now, because we have egos, does that mean that we should, as many continue to do for entire lifetimes, forsake all Divinity? Should we refuse to look for different ways to handle stress as it arrises, or even make time for relaxing activities more regularly so that we can avoid at least some stress, or handle it easier?
Even if you lack time, you could give yourself 5 minutes before bed to meditate, listen to relaxing music, or do something else to decompress. It all adds up over time.
Let’s do it for each of us, for our kids, for our spouses, and for everyone in the World.

The Radiant Influence of the Sun in Leo Zodiac Signs
Tumblr media
Introduction:
In the realm of astrology, the Sun holds a position of utmost significance. It symbolizes our core essence, illuminating our true self and driving our ambitions. The Sun's journey through the zodiac signs casts a unique light on each sign's characteristics and behaviors. When the Sun graces the Leo zodiac sign with its presence, its fiery energy creates a powerful and vibrant personality. In this article, we delve into the captivating impact of the Sun in Leo, exploring the dynamics of sun sign astrology and its interplay with individual traits.
The Sun in Leo:
Leo, ruled by the Sun itself, is the embodiment of boldness, creativity, and self-expression. When the Sun enters Leo, usually between July 23rd and August 22nd, its radiant energy aligns harmoniously with the lion-hearted qualities of this sign. Just as the Sun is the center of our solar system, Leo craves attention and enjoys being the center of attention in social circles. The Sun's warmth and illumination blend seamlessly with Leo's need for recognition, shaping individuals born under this influence into natural-born leaders and performers.
Fiery Passion and Creativity:
Much like the Sun's fiery nature, Leos burn with an inner passion and enthusiasm that can be infectious. Their energy is vibrant and captivating, often drawing others toward them like moths to a flame. This energy fuels their creative pursuits, making them natural artists, actors, and entertainers. With the Sun in Leo, creativity flows abundantly, and they have a knack for turning their visions into reality.
Self-Confidence and Charisma:
The Sun's energy in Leo enhances their innate sense of self-worth and self-assuredness. Leos exude confidence and charisma effortlessly, making them magnetic personalities. They possess a regal air that demands attention, and their determination to succeed is undeniable. This confidence extends to their relationships, as they seek partners who recognize and celebrate their individuality.
Generosity and Warmth:
Just as the Sun warms and sustains life on Earth, Leos share their warmth generously with those around them. They have big hearts and are often known for their acts of kindness and generosity. Leos take pride in nurturing their loved ones and ensuring they shine as brightly as they do. This innate generosity is a reflection of the Sun's benevolent energy.
Impact on Sun Sign Astrology:
In the realm of sun sign astrology, your sun sign (determined by your birthdate) is a primary indicator of your core personality traits. When the Sun is in Leo, individuals born under this period inherit the sign's vivaciousness, courage, and creativity. Their sun sign governs their ego and sense of self, and the Leo influence further amplifies these aspects.
The Dynamic Trio: Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs:
While the Sun sign is crucial, delving deeper into astrology involves considering the Moon and rising signs. The Moon reflects our emotions and instincts, while the rising sign (ascendant) indicates our outward demeanor. The interplay between these three key elements provides a more holistic understanding of an individual's astrological profile.
Conclusion:
The Sun's journey through the zodiac signs is a celestial dance that infuses each sign with its unique radiance. When the Sun enters Leo, the fire of individuality, creativity, and self-expression burns brightly. Those born under the Sun in Leo are bestowed with an irresistible charm, a flair for drama, and a heart that radiates warmth to all. As we navigate the intricate web of sun sign astrology, remembering the influence of the Sun in Leo reminds us of the power of embracing our true selves and basking in our own light.

The Sun Sign of Astrology: Illuminating the Essence of Your Personality
Shaina Tranquilino
September 3, 2023
Tumblr media
Astrology has long been a captivating subject, offering insights into our personalities, relationships, and life paths. Among the numerous elements that make up an astrological chart, the sun sign stands as one of the most prominent indicators of individuality. Representing our core essence and conscious self-expression, understanding your sun sign can provide profound guidance on your strengths, weaknesses, and overall character traits. In this blog post, we delve into the significance of the sun sign in astrology and explore its influence in shaping who we are.
What is a Sun Sign?
In astrology, the sun sign refers to the position of the sun at the time of your birth. It represents your fundamental identity and illuminates key aspects of your personality. While it may be tempting to solely identify with this single component, it's essential to remember that each person possesses a complex blend of planetary influences within their natal chart.
Interpreting Your Sun Sign:
Each zodiac sign corresponds to specific qualities associated with elemental forces (fire, earth, air, or water) and modes (cardinal, fixed, or mutable). These attributes contribute to shaping distinct characteristics and behavioural patterns linked to each sign. For example:
1. Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius):
- Energetic
- Passionate
- Assertive
- Adventurous
2. Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn):
- Practical
- Grounded
- Reliable
- Sensible
3. Air Signs (Gemini, Libra Aquarius):
- Intellectual
- Socially adept
- Communicative
- Analytical
4. Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio Pisces):
- Emotional
- Intuitive
- Empathetic
- Nurturing
While these generalizations provide a starting point for understanding the sun signs, it's important to note that other planetary aspects in your birth chart can significantly influence your personality traits.
The Sun and Self-Expression:
The sun sign represents our conscious expression, highlighting areas where we shine brightest. It showcases our natural talents and reveals how we prefer to present ourselves to the world. Understanding this aspect of yourself can help you embrace your strengths fully and find fulfillment in various areas of life.
However, it is crucial not to limit yourself solely to the characteristics associated with your sun sign. Exploring other components of your birth chart, such as the moon sign (representing emotions) or rising sign (the mask we wear), unveils a more comprehensive understanding of your multidimensional self.
While astrology offers an intricate web of interconnected elements within a natal chart, the sun sign remains a vital pillar that illuminates our fundamental identity and self-expression. By exploring its attributes alongside other astrological components, we gain deeper insights into our personalities, enabling personal growth and self-awareness. Remember that astrology serves as a guide rather than an absolute predictor; ultimately, we have the power to shape our lives consciously and navigate our unique paths accordingly. Embrace the wisdom offered by astrology while forging your own destiny!

Astrology Observations-Part 2🌙
Having both Taurus and Aries placements in a chart can indicate someone who enjoys pressuring/embarrassing people when underdeveloped. These people can be actual bullies towards others when they’re at their worst.
Gemini rising’s/Mercury in the 1H look younger than they actually are.
Scorpio rising women are sometimes shorter than average while Scorpio rising men are taller than average.
8H moon’s can have dreams about scenarios that end up happening IRL.
Capricorn Rising’s usually have a skinny/bony appearance.
Whatever sign and house Saturn is in your chart can tell you what other people’s karma is for messing with you. Ex: Taurus Saturn in 7H? Taurus is a Venusian sign so it rules over beauty/appearance as well as luxury and money and the 7H signifies relationships, partnerships and marriage etc. Their karma may be their physical appearance looking uglier, plus going broke as well as their relationships/love life going downhill.
People with Scorpio in the 6H may prone to UTI’s/yeast infections or very heavy and painful monthly periods.
Cancer Rising’s may attract a lot of jealousy because of how intelligent they are (Gemini 12H)
Aries Rising men are usually buff and naturally muscular in appearance.
Aquarius in the 11H can attract multiple friend groups from all walks of life way more easily than the average person.
Pisces Moon/Venus are a lot more skilled in manifesting the things they want than they think they are.
Venus/Libra in the 12H can signify a lot more people than you think having a crush on you/being attracted to you. Your secret admirers just keep it to themselves because they assume you already know and don’t wanna boost your ego.
Leo, Libra, Scorpio and Capricorn rising women consistently attract men who neg them as a way of trying to get them to notice them.
Sagittarius placements (esp mercury) are blunt and rude in their speech but they don’t mean any harm by it, they just say whatever they’re thinking.
Virgo placements on the other hand are also blunt, but they over analyze every encounter and conversation they have so they usually know what’s rude to say and what’s not. So if a Virgo’s saying shady things towards you, they mean it.
Libra Venus’ can not remain in a relationship if there isn’t constant flirting. It’s also important not to let yourself go if you’re in a relationship with them because they are visual asf.
12H sun’s rarely get acknowledgment for the good they do but get a lot of attention for the mistakes they make.
12H suns can also be kind of gullible and naive growing up.
Mercury in the 2H usually don’t like to talk about things that aren’t factual or don’t benefit them in some way.
Mars in the 12H can be prone to high blood pressure due to internalizing their anger most of the time.
Venus in the 1H are very attractive, even if not conventionally handsome/pretty there’s something very aesthetically pleasing about their facial features and their overall vibe.
Venus in 1H can also do no wrong in the eyes of the public. Basically pretty privilege.
Same goes for Pisces Risings ⬆️ they usually get away with a lot due to their innocent demeanor.
Your moon sign is usually a prominent sign in your mother’s chart.
Saturn in the 8H might not lose their virginity until later in life, or at least not as soon as their peers.
Your rising sign can tell you what everyone was feeling or what was going on during the time of your birth.
Leo women have this tendency of leaving or cheating on men who are good to them for guys who are terrible people. (Not all Leo women of course, but I’ve seen soooo many Leo girls do this)
Pisces men are very, very confusing. The type of person to be married for years with kids and still try to keep up with what you got going on in your life.
Cancer in the 12H usually have issues with women/mother in their life.
Aries Venus prefer the chase more than the actual relationship.
Scorpio/8H placements have an inherent fear of their spouse/loved ones dying.
Pisces mars are freakier in bed than most people think.
Moon sextile Neptune manifest through their dreams a lot.
Sun in the 5H is someone who doesn’t take life too seriously and prefers fun over responsibility a lot of the time.
Mars in Scorpio are more revengeful and unforgiving than any other Scorpio placement honestly. These people can get revenge and still not be happy.
Mars in Sagittarius usually have lots of flings and hookups throughout their life.
TW!: Some underdeveloped Virgo men have a weird tendency to actually want to harm women mentally and emotionally. They’re not the type to just break up with a partner and move on, they usually want to make the breakup as fucked up as possible so the thought of them remains in the persons mind forever. I’ve met over 6 Virgo men who’s admitted to this before and the girl didn’t even do anything wrong in the relationship, they just didn’t wanna be with her anymore but didn’t want her to forget them.
Capricorn women usually have very long, flowing luscious hair.
Part 3 coming soon 🌪️

Astrology Observations: Part 3🎀🩷
Mars aspecting the ASC can give the individual a dominating demeanor, but also mainly depends on which aspect. Ex: Harmonius Aspects (trine/sextile)=Straightforward, honest, stand their ground, strong boundaries, not one to be pushed around. Harsh Aspects (square/opp)= Aggressive, domineering, rude, blunt, obnoxious.
(TW: Death) Your 8H sign and planet may tell you how you pass away. Ex: Gemini moon in the 8H= Lungs, breathing problems, asthma. Moon= emotional turmoil, stress, heart break etc
Asteroids like Medusa (149) or Aphrodite (1388) can show you what people envy about you, what they admire, where they may attempt to bring you shame etc. Ex: Medusa in the 1H can attract envy over their appearance, their aura and demeanor. People could attempt to “humble” these individuals often. Aphrodite in the 2H can make others admire your money, your possessions, may wanna know how you have what you have so they can have it too.
Aphrodite (1388) can result in people not just admiring wherever the house it’s in, but also being malicious and petty over it since they feel they deserve it more.
Lilith in the houses is similar to this, and can result in those around you being annoyed when you do things in regards to the house and sign it is in. Ex: Sagittarius Lilith in the 2H= people could be upset when you relax, when you have fun, when you don’t play by made up rules and standards, when you’re genuinely happy, when you have nice things, when you take a break, when you indulge etc, because they have this mindset of “I never got to do that/have that, why should you”. Lilith in the 1H= people getting annoyed that you may be beautiful and they’re not, painting you as a villain because you’re pretty.
Cancer moons are surprisingly really good with holding boundaries with people in their lives. These people can be lover girls/boys, for sure; but they refuse to let people take advantage of them. Their love, effort and care is reserved for those who will appreciate them in return.
(TW: Mental Health) Take this with a grain of salt since it’s just an observation and not a fact, but those I’ve met with a combo of Scorpio/Gemini in personal planets in a chart are usually diagnosed with BPD, while those I’ve met with either Virgo/Aries/Gemini in a chart combined have usually been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder/OCD. 12H and 8H stelliums I’ve also met have had some sort of mental illness such as BPD or Schizophrenia.
Jupiter in the 1H, Sag/Pisces risings and/or Jupiter aspecting ASC/personal planets usually manage to get out of difficult situations easily. These people easily attract the help they need, the resources to do what they need, the money to get them where they want to be; very easily. Even when people with these placements/aspects get in trouble they usually manage to make it out very easily as well. Jupiter blesses and makes lucky anything it touches.
People think that Mercury in the 1H might usually talk alot about themselves, and while that may be true; it’s also true that they simply attract people who love to know about them and ask questions in regards to them. Mercury 1H individuals seem to be interesting to others and peak others curiosity about them. Others find them fascinating, thus constantly asking questions about them.
On the other hand, Mercury 3H individuals may be very close with their siblings, or their siblings can be popular/known/famous which could make the 3H person known for their siblings. This results in the 3H person consistently hearing about their siblings, getting asked questions or discussing topics in regards to their siblings. Same thing with school, this person may have either really good or really bad grades in regards to school so their main conversations with others could be in regards to school topics.
A Virgo rising individual at their worst can be obsessed with popularity/attention/validation (Leo 12H) amongst their peers. They may not come off that way, and they themselves may not even know that they secretly love being in the center. Without realizing, they subconsciously try their hardest to be the best at everything, the smartest, the prettiest/handsomest, and when at their lowest they have no issue with taking down others who they deem threatening to their spotlight. They can also be secretly judgmental of those who they deem to be lesser, or not as attractive than they are.
Similarly, I’ve noticed Scorpio Risings at their worse can be very jealous and insecure individuals as well when it comes to appearances/validation. I’ve noticed this in women with this placement mostly, but when they’re at their lowest/undeveloped, they’re the type to only be friends with or surround themselves around people they think are worse than they are whether appearance, status, popularity wise etc. Undeveloped Scorpio rising females can be very competitive and refuse to have someone who’s possibly better than they are around them, since they don’t want to be compared to the other person or not chosen/not the favorite.
Libra moon’s are the people that start the drama and then say “I don’t like drama” lol. What they really mean is they love it, as long as they’re not involved
If you find that you always have bad experiences with those whose signs fall in your 11H, check your sidereal chart. Odds are your 11H sign in your western chart is the 12H sign in your sidereal, which would explain the bad experiences.
Aquarius women are always so successful in everything they do, I’ve rarely met an Aquarius woman that doesn’t have their shit together in every category. They’re giving face, body, money, career, healthy love life and social life etc. The men on the other hand…
Yes, those with Saturn in the 7H have a hard time finding the one. They go through years of cycles and repetitive situations in love but those who find their person find their FOREVER person. People with this placement may be the last to be in a relationship/get married amongst their peers, however they’re usually the happiest and most successful once they do compared to friends or family who just hurried up and settled and usually separate/divorce. Saturn 7H’s standards and boundaries may also seem to high or unrealistic to those around them, but they’re just asking for bare minimum. It only seems that way to others around them because they were raised in a group or environment that had no standards low key.
The good thing about 2H stelliums is that you attract money, possessions and success super easily. The bad thing is that those around you could ONLY see you as your success/money, and may try to bleed you dry of what you have and take advantage. Strong boundaries and not being overly giving is recommended with these placements.
Mars in the 12H can attract people who are secretly aggressive or hostile towards them. They may never know someone is holding a grudge on them and they may attract secret animosity or competition as a result. May have issues with male figures in their life and won’t even know it.
Jupiter in the 6H, especially with Cancer or Libra there; get along with animals sooo well. These are literal pet whisperers and it’s rare for them to not have at least 3 cats/dogs. They love animals more than people sometimes.
Part 4 will be out soon. 👏🏻
