Building off your argument that Ted isn't going to go back to Kansas, he was constantly correcting his mother this episode with regards to British terms. Where before he was the outsider who didn't understand Britishisms, now he is the native who uses the terms instinctively to the point where he gets annoyed when they're used wrong. Sounds like he's acclimatized to England.
Yes!!! I was thinking that a couple weeks back too when Ted first uses "football" instinctively and then comments on how natural it's become. He's reached a point where he's both using that terminology as a matter of course ("Some of us have a football team to coach!") as well as teaching others (here's how the dials on the oven work). (Sidenote: I'm not sure what to do with Dottie's tea comment yet. Not even sure atm whether I read it as sincere or sarcastic, but regardless, I think it's a potentially useful detail next to Ted willingly drinking tea in "Sunflowers." That was another version of acclimation on his part.) Now, combine this verbal/dietary acclimation with our opening where every previously negative interaction Ted had with the community has been flipped to show that they now adore him -- seen most strikingly through the "wanker" guy and, throughout this season, the pub trio supporting him at training -- and if they do send Ted back to Kansas it's really going to read as that Mary Poppins situation of, "He arrives to brighten everyone else's lives and then leaves. Why do you care what he needs? He's just a narrative tool."
To further add to this I can't help but think about the long-term structure of Ted's life now that we know Beard's backstory. We're told that, like his time here in Richmond, Ted helped Beard, forgave him, gave him another chance, and ultimately gave him a life. If we look at Beard's situation as a microcosm of the whole show, it seems significant that Ted does not leave Beard behind. That was not a situation -- a situation we're worried about getting now -- where Ted played the part of emotional coach and then sent Beard on his way, far from him as he's no longer needed. Instead, we get the opposite. Beard becomes his best friend, a staple of his life, and continues to help Ted in turn. By waiting until the penultimate episode to reveal the roots of Beard's loyalty, the show has ensured that the focus is on their equal standing and how Beard has likewise benefited Ted over the years: helping him see that wanting to win isn't a bad thing, trying to provide support through his anxiety, recognizing Ted's tells and informing their new community of what to look for (Nate, during the divorce arc: "Is he okay?" Beard: "No!") Beard could have been a minor, flatter character who popped out of the woodwork just to say, "Ted Lasso changed my life for the better, extraordinarily so, and he is The Best Man anyone could ever meet" (which, frankly, would have made Ted a flatter character too) and then gone on his way, having succeeded in the narrative function of reminding the viewer that this is Ted's sole role in the story: coaching others to be their best selves while pushing his own needs aside.
Instead, Beard becomes the cornerstone of Ted's support system. Ted doesn't leave him behind, he permanently integrates him into his life.
What's a microcosm of this microcosm? Ted Lasso does the same thing with Trent. Does he go off into the writing world once Ted helps him realize what he truly wants in life, his story concluded, never to be seen again? To quote Beard, "No!" Trent comes back and, significantly, Ted doesn't pull any metaphorical Mary Poppins arguments along the lines of, "I'm done all I can for you. It's time for you to move on." He eagerly invites Trent into their Richmond circle when no one else will (I'm currently working on a meta of Trent's first scene of Season 3 because OH BOY IS THERE A LOT) and Trent stays, not simply writing his book but becoming a member of the family. Surely there's a pattern here: The people Ted helps don't leave him, but rather become core additions to his life that enrich his own outlook and understanding of himself.
I'm not saying I'm going to toss Ted Lasso in the bin if we get the Kansas ending, but I AM saying you all will have to suffer through a dissertation length meta on my blog about why that was a bad choice lol

There seemingly won't be a Planeswalker's Guide to Thunder Junction, sad to say, so it's time to stop delaying this.
Outlaws of Thunder Junction is the most recent Magic the Gathering set to release, taking place on a "fresh" plane- a place that has no sentient, sapient life. Initially populated by the Atiin people, nomads from another plane that moved here when the Omenpaths opened up the multiverse, everyone who decided to come on down to the Junction and make a new life for themselves has given themselves a bit of that old west flare.
But the question is; where are all our new friends from? In a burst of intellectual curiosity and bad decision making, lets actually do our best to figure that out, starting with... (some ground rules: only the subject matter of the card art matters. Instants and Sorceries will try to divine where the spell and cast are from to the best of my abilities. Please note this is mostly arbitrary.)
WHITE
Tumblr media
... cool way to start. Based on the artistry of the Eversaloon's entryway I'm calling Kaladesh, it has the appropriate spirals.
Tumblr media
The original printing of this card is Innistrad so you might be tempted to say this lovely lady is from there, but the style of wings, the way she is channeling Thunder through her gun, and the general vibe of the art tells me this is Dominaria.
Tumblr media
This delightful feller is endemic to Thunder Junction! The armor has an Esperite flare but I'm counting this as not from another plane.
Tumblr media
Aven Interrupter is our first one that's like, actually obvious. Owl aven have only been seen on Arcavios so until told otherwise, this friend is from there!
Tumblr media
While we're seemingly not getting a Planeswalker's Guide for Thunder Junction, it was mentioned on twitter that Felidar are native to the plane. The particular design of the cat and horns suggest creatures native to the American West as well.
Tumblr media
This abomination (Affectionate) of a pun features a local oxen and a Thunderous wind whipper. As much as a magical spell can be, this is from Thunder Junction proper.
Tumblr media
Another native creature to the plane. I love the fluffy beards on these critters.
Tumblr media
Now look at this bad boy! There's absolutely no known place in Magic the Gathering that a rabbit person like this could exist... yet anyway! I'm thinking this guy is from Bloomburrow (as is the Mole person from Murders at Karlov Manor, incidentally).
Tumblr media
While this is noted as a spirit, the fact that it's an animus suggests to me this is more of a living mirage than an actual person. Native to Thunder Junction.
Tumblr media
Eriette is the weirdly sympathetic wicked witch of the Wilds of Eldraine storyline, so this stunningly beautiful piece of artwork is from that storybook plane.
Tumblr media
There's no real defining characteristics on this card to really peg where it's from... except! IT was mentioned on Twitter that Spree cards were meant to evoke big Western films, and this one is The Magnificent Seven... which means this lone survivor's from Kamigawa, because it'd be funny (and the spooky aura radiating out of these guys feels like a Reckoner thing). Hey, I did say these would be arbitrary sometimes.
Tumblr media
The incredibly cool horse(?) of Annie "Haseya" Flash, one of the main stars of the story. Fortune comes and goes as she pleases, but Annie always finds her when the chips are down. I love this creature, and love Annie. I choose to believe Fortune's from the Atiin homeplane and came with her.
Tumblr media
There are not a lot of places Dwarves can be from in Magic the Gathering... this doesn't have the exact sort of filigree you'd expect from Kaladesh, but consider the fine work and the tools being employed, this lovely fellow is likely from there.
Tumblr media
The Sterling Company, our villainous lawmen for the plane! I'll talk about their leader later, but based on him, his style, and the impeccable fashion of his men, I'm saying they're from New Capenna.
Tumblr media
Goddest boy in the multiverse Kellan Okoson is here to lasso an entire train to safety with his fey-natured vines. While I'd love to say this is from Eldraine because Kellan is from there, this is the natural fey-gifts he inherited from his shitty father, so they're from Oko's Plane.
Tumblr media
This polite kidnapper is pretty clearly from Eldraine. I wonder what she left in the cacti's place though...
Tumblr media
This is a tricky one. The way Thunder works on the ol' Junction is that it needs a loop to radiate through- thus the horsehoe on the blade. But that, plus the inner tang also being a loop, suggests this is a former Zendikari sword, modified from climbing equipment to chaos-channeling shock-sword.
Tumblr media
Annie Flash digs up her past for one final job, and looks sweet as hell doing it. This is from the Atiin's plane, I'd reckon.
Tumblr media
This guy could really be from anywhere, which is kind of the point of Thunder Junction- to give up your old life for a spell and see if a new you will work out. But the fact that his potions are so classical Fantasy Potions I'm saying he's from Dominaria.
Tumblr media
This delightful little critter is native to Thunder Junction, and what a cutie he is. Did you know Prairie Dogs were a type of squirrel before seeing this card, because I didn't!
Tumblr media
Fundamentally I have no real indication of where this guy could be from... but he's from Prosperity, the Sterling Company's roost, and his suit's got a bit of an armoured look to it... so I'm gonna say Kamigawa.
Tumblr media
Look some of these just flatly aren't actually doable. The drones bouncing around suggests it could be from one of the planes that got those, but ultimately I think I'm going to have to put this as "yeah I got nothing".
Tumblr media
I could have swore there was somewhere in the Wilds of Eldraine story that said these particular blue and white bovines belonged to the giants of the sky... and while I can't find it, I wanna say they're from Eldraine anyway. So I will, it just fits dangit!
Tumblr media
This is definitely native to Thunder Junction. It's just got the vibe, you know?
Tumblr media
Choke this one up to New Capenna- and if you think that's wrong, blame the Sterlings for having such fine coats.
Tumblr media
Ditto for this one- though I'll note that the carriage and the train from the above card absolutely have that Kaladeshi vibe.
Tumblr media
It' always fun to see what exactly gets turned into an instant or sorcery spell in flavor-first sets like this. This friend is from Thunder Junction, positive.
Tumblr media
Another Sterling, another New Capenna ex-pat looking to make a name for herself. If it helps one of the city's of the plane, Omenport, leads directly to New Capenna, making it one of the most likely planes for people to naturally come from.
Tumblr media
I will stop calling Sterling Company mooks New Capennan's when they stop looking like people from New Capenna. This is a sort of Aven you'd find there design wise.
Tumblr media
Cute, designing a shield like a deputy star. This has no real markers signifying the people using it, but the subject of the art is clearly the shield itself, and this bad boy was made on Thunder Junction baby.
Only 30 images are allowed per port so check in soon for PART 2.

heyo, i've been following your works for a long time now and i genuinely love your creations, you put so much effort into them - they're so brilliant and polished, it's remarkable and inspiring.
i edit often but i am more used to working with gifs of live action media — comics is a whole new territory for me but i would still like to get into it. could i please ask for your tips and recs on how i can get started?
it's alright if not! thank you for what you do and have a nice day. x
Aw, thank you very much! <3 I'll make a list of some different tips I think might be useful (but as with all things, experimenting is the best experience!), and also some links to different resources I often use for edits. Some of these you'll probably be familiar from gifs, but others will hopefully be new!
Gifmaking is a really good basis for making graphics; most of the same principals apply, particularly with colouring and playing with light with art! One of the best ways to make edits work together imo is having consistent colour themes to make all the edits look related and to work with one another, and those elements mirror in graphics and gifs.
The main thing that I think is different is the use of art. A lot of the time with art, you have to cut it out of panels by yourself, and sometimes colour something in yourself, if it's a sketch or something. You can use the subject selection tool in Photoshop/Photopea, but this really only works if there's a very clear background and subject; something more detailed or with multiple subjects doesn't work so well. I like to select using either the lasso tool or the polygonal tool, and then create a layer mask once my subject is fully selected! It's timeconsuming, but worth it to have those sharp and detailed pieces.
Using large pieces of art I think is really important for making sure edits are sharp. I generally try to only use stuff above 1000px, but generally anything below 700px is really difficult to use, especially if you're colouring in a sketch by hand.
Hand-colouring is another thing that's real difficult and time-consuming, but is worth it! Multiply and soft light are your best friends. Multiply for the blocks of colour, and soft light I like to use for adding a bit more depth for things like hair, or blush, etc. But play around with the different layer styles, you can get some interesting affects!
It's also useful to build up a little catelogue of styles or designs you like to incorporate into your work. A lot of graphic designers post their work to Pinterest, for example. Here's my own pinterest board of graphics I like!
And here are some of the resources/websites I use. Behance for general PSDs, fonts, textures. Search 'freebie' in the search bar to get those free resources! Dafont and freefonts.io are the two websites I use most to find fonts! Texturelabs is a great resource of free textures to use; white images generally go on multiply level, dark ones go on screen. Resource Boy has a bunch of free textures and pngs on there that you can use, I recently downloaded 70 different chain pngs from here. Designsyndrome is mostly paid stuff, but they do have a number of free pngs and effects that are cool to use. Comicartfans is a really handly website where a lot of people upload art from professionals. It works as a buying and selling site, but I use it often to find art by searching a character name in the searchbar. Unfortunately, not all of these are high quality, but generally you can use these to find larger resolutions by finding an artist's personal website.
As always, feel free to ask if you want something explained, or if you want to find out how I did a certain affect! I'll always be happy to share where I got stuff, most of this hobby functions via word of mouth :3

hii, i just wanted to ask if you have any tips you have for someone who is just starting to do digital art and fan art in general? im just kinda lost because i don't even know where to start (for context, im a 2nd year art student but i only draw and paint traditionally bc im terrified of digital 😭)
im asking you because I've been following you on here for a while and i LOVE LOVE your art, i love how you draw intimacy so much and how you give the characters some different traits or details, it makes your art feel so special i love it<3
sorry for the long ask don't feel pressured to answer if you don't know what tips to give me (and im sorry for my awkward english, it's not my first language and im also autistic so it's Even harder)
have a great day/night <3<3
thank you so so much for your sweet message!!! 🩷
ive been in the spot actually, because for the majority of my art journey ive been drawing traditionally- ive started doing digital art like 3 years ago now
as far as tips go it really is just a lot of trial and error. digital art can be overwhelming because suddenly you have all these tools on your hand that you didn't have before. trying all the brushes and not being afraid to go out of your comfort zone are probably the most important things- don't be afraid to adjust and tinker with brush settings!!! one of my favorite brushes is one i custom made myself because i realized what i wanted in a brush!!
and don't be afraid of using the tools digital art has to offer!! a lot of them are different (and some people keep saying it's cheating but it's really not) but they're so helpful!! the lasso tool, color picking, references and 3d models, flipping your canvas etc.
doing studies, especially when it comes to colors and composition, help a lot too!! i was so overwhelmed with the coloring process in the beginning and eventually you'll figure out what works and what doesn't!!
fanart really is just drawing what you want to see but i really can't stress enough how fun and inspiring fan projects are!! big bangs and collabs and zines are the best way to meet other artists and find a community!! i've made so many friends through these things and they continue to inspire and help me out 🫶🏻
but yeah, other than that it's a lot of practice and trying things out and connecting to people- but that's also the most fun part 🩷

Move - or be moved
Movement - that's the precursor to writing now. Sometimes running, sometimes walking, sometimes hiking. No music, just breath. And thoughts, so many thoughts.  Flowers, wind, sweat. It's a warm up. A lot of ideas pop up when there's no tools to jot them down - that's fine, this is warm up for ALL your muscles, brain included. Do something with that nervous energy buzzing inside of you. Let it leak out. Heat it up and melt it.
Tumblr media
Do I write about Desmond turning 4?
Do I write about feeling like I've lived a thousand lives?
Do I write about a Ted Lasso episode that made me wonder if not coming out to certain people hurt their feelings?
Do I write about just how wonderful and thoughtful Ted Lasso episodes make me feel?
Do I write about how I can't exist at a party without "helping"?
Do I write about how Pride month feels for the most invisible orientation?
Do I write about what incredible emotional support animals my cats are?
Do I write about the prospect of soon having both an amazing intern and a friend as a full-time writer? (No, don't jinx it)
Do I write about my travel anxiety?
Do I write about my bestie band retiring the year I got married and re-emerging the year I'm getting divorced?
Do I write about how mostly I don't want to be a boss, but if I could be a Rebecca Welton boss, OK?
Do I write about how friends save you, and they don't know they save you, in the tiniest but most important ways?
Do I write about how so many people lie about liking hiking, but I really, really do?
Do I write about how nostalgia is important?
Tumblr media
I went to a Superhero birthday party today - and gave and received more hugs than I had anticipated. It was actually nice. The day before I spent the day hiking with two friends, lugging a cake up (and down) a mountain with an insufficient backpack. I hope the birthday girl remembers it for being weird but awesome. I love a creative challenge. I also feel like, as moms, our birthdays get diminished. Shrunk. I was a HUGE birthday person before Desmond was born - granted, the pandemi had some effect on this as well.  The last good one I had before he was born was a pajama brunch. It was still not up to par. I didn't have the energy or resources post-partum to throw a themed party more than once a year. One year I went to a comedy show with a friend. One year my book club took me out. Last year my best friend took me to the movies. My mother hikers asked, what peak should we get on your birthday?

What app or system do you use to draw digitally?? I can't for the life of me find a good cheap app (or maybe I'm just bad at drawing lol)
The stuff I’ve been posting is drawn in procreate!! one time purchase but you need a tablet (an ipad? im on ipad. idk if its ipad exclusive.) and a stylus (apple pencil in my case). there’s a good variety of downloadable brushes for it out there, both paid and free.
I also use Clip Studio Paint for PC but im not sure if they’ve just totally moved to a subscription model or not. I bought my version years ago on sale as a one time purchase and it’s been working great!!! also has a good variety of downloadable brushes and other tools made by the community (LASSO FILL MY BEST FRIEND LASSO FILL). it can also use photoshop brushes but the brushes may not look as they were meant to bc of program differences. it also has my fav feature: you can clip layers to groups of layers instead of Just One. very versatile.
i’ve used photoshop but their subscription is baaaad. (as in they make you subscribe for a year at a time even if ur paying monthly. at least that was the case 3 years ago idk abt now.)
if you want a free photoshop lookalike that just runs in your browser, look up photopea!
if you need a free program to tide you over, i remember firealpaca (also PC) being Pretty Good!! it’s got all the basics an art program needs.
Sidenote!!!-
being able/unable to draw is utterly unrelated to knowing digital programs!!! i used to suck at drawing digitally for a While even though i was pretty good at drawing on paper! programs are a tool like any other, and skill is built up over time. (not to mention with screenless drawing tablets you basically have to train yourself to draw without looking at your hands) (AND you have to remember a bunch of shortcuts so you dont spend 1000 years going through menus) (PLEASE LEARN TO USE CLIPPING MASKS IT WILL SAVE YOU SO MUCH TIME AND ALSO YOUR WRISTS) (also have you sEEN the masterpieces some people make in mspaint or kidpix? its insane. dont make yourself think that you can’t be an artist without fancy tools!)
anyway! good luck! 👍
EDIT: i forgot to mention that pen stabilisation can really affect how it feels to draw digitally!!! CSP and procreate have pretty good stabilisation but photoshop (and likely photopea) make it feel rly sluggish and bad. i dont remember abt firealpaca

On Friendships
In the realm of relationships, I find myself surrounded by friends who have gracefully followed the well-trodden path—meeting, proposing, marrying, having children, and building a home. I hold no judgment for their choices, as long as they align with their authentic desires. As I, not so gracefully, navigate my own path, I humbly admit that I do not know what's best for them.
However, a sense of melancholy seeps in when I witness their encounters with challenges, lacking the emotional tools to navigate through the tempestuous waters. Rather than confronting their struggles head-on, they seek refuge in distractions or succumb to the belief that this is simply the way of the world. It pains me deeply to observe my beloved friends diminishing themselves to sustain failing marriages or buoy sinking ships.
Fearful of the revelations that introspection might unveil, they veer away from delving into the depths of their souls. Perhaps it dawns on them that their yesteryear actions were driven by a craving for attention or validation, conforming to societal norms. Now, entrenched in their choices, they find themselves either unable to reevaluate or recognize their dearth of emotional, physical, or financial capacity to embark on that transformative journey, hence curtailing it prematurely. Empathy fills my being, and my heart aches for their unfulfilled potential.
A recent incident remains etched in my memory—when a dear friend confided her discontent with her personal life. Drawing from my own positive experiences, I gently suggested therapy, only to be surprised by her offense. "Why bother? I am happy. Therapy is unnecessary," she replied. Witnessing her resistance was disheartening. This and many other encounters I’ve had with beloved friends unveil the multitude of individuals on this vast Earth who remain unhealed, but even more unfortunately, reluctant to delve deep within themselves and explore the core of their true desires.
It is a lingering echo of the past generations when choices were scarce. Although we evolve and heal across the generations, savoring greater freedom in our love lives than our predecessors, the sight of sensitive souls still today confined by self-inflicted imprisonment and melancholic shrinking reminds me that there lies an arduous road ahead.
Reflecting upon my own path and the journeys of those dear to me, I recognize that trauma often acts as the catalyst for profound introspection. It takes a seismic event to strip away the veil of external validation and shatter one's faith in life—a heart-wrenching breakup, a job loss, or other transformative experiences. These jolting moments beckon individuals to turn inward, forging connections with themselves that they have never ventured into before.
I would never wish trauma upon those I hold dear. And of course, it must be acknowledged that there are individuals so deeply entrenched in their own realities that not even trauma can pry their heads from the sand, preventing them from breathing new air. For others who do take a step out of their reality, many lack the emotional capacity and tools to process trauma in a transformative manner. Nevertheless, for those few for whom trauma could potentially ignite the flame of self-discovery, I hold onto hope. Hope that they feel, deep within, the subtle stirrings of discontent, even if they tuck it away out of fear. Hope that their inner voice continues to whisper, longing to be heard and that one day they will engage, understand, and embrace their own truth.
Yet, should they insist on dwelling within the fortress of self-delusion, so be it.
I, of course, yearn to propel my cherished friends forward, to gently facilitate their healing journey. Yet, I realize that my power is rendered impotent if they are unwilling to undertake the work. I have long since learned that one cannot lasso their beloveds to embark on the journey of healing. Each person must tread their own steps, at their own pace.
Will I, perhaps, sprinkle a few artfully timed micro-triggers into our conversations to evoke a transformation in them? Maybe, I say with a devilish grin on my face.
But in all seriousness, what truly matters is the hope that, in due time and at their own pace, meaningful conversations, with me, with others, but most importantly, with their inner voices, transpire. Conversations that unravel the layers of their being, allowing them to discover their own convictions and embark on a path guided solely by the whispers of their wise inner self, unswayed by the expectations of society or the need to please others.
At this moment, I pause to acknowledge that perhaps their chosen path, for now, is the right one for them. It is a humbling realization that calls upon me to honor and respect the universe and what it calls for each of us to do and surrender to. In the realm of personal transformation, time holds its secrets, and each person must embrace their own rhythm.
As I navigate my own odyssey, I remain steadfast in my belief that the power to heal resides within each individual, awaiting the moment when their heart is ready to embrace the profound journey of self-discovery. So I shall continue to forge my own path, with eyes wide open and intentionality in my healing process. Maybe, just maybe, others will bear witness to my unwavering commitment to growth, and find within it the discomfort, impetus, and, ultimately, solace they seek for themselves. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope. Maybe I am a glimmer of hope.
So to my beloveds, may our conversations become catalysts for self-reflection, sparking the inner dialogue that helps us chart the intricate ridges of our souls. And as we engage in soulful discourse and interludes with each other, our communities, and our intertwined stories, I hope we continue to transcend the mundane, unearthing the resonance & convictions that will guide us toward co-creating a life steeped in authenticity and pleasure.
In the end, we are all melting and unfolding one another. Collisions of thoughts, harmonies of alignment. A symphony of growth and sheer beauty, conducted by none other than the universe.

Living Aspect In Marketing - Need A Good Additional Q!
The difference between crack and cocaine is that crack is a chemically altered form of cocaine that can be smoked. process lasso Activation Code associated with many other chemical components other than cocaine. This is the reason why you find that crack is a lot less money. Both drugs are extremely addictive and extremely destructive. Trust me the best prescription to reduce stress isn't from a pill, have not luxury cruise or spending a weekend in Sin city. It's in your ability to buy the crack in each business problem you face. The espresso I wanted to resolve with blog was making the blog address looks like a web-page address we could submit it to AdWords in the decent structure. I wanted the appropriate niche word displayed (which would can lead to better search results). Need to have spent two hours on that subject. AND, I'm not quite a fledgling. I have been doing it stuff dansko was the distributor two quite a few. In my defense though, my concentration has been web-sites, not blogs. A properly completed windshield repair from the reputable auto glass company with actually improve the look of a chip or cracked area. Don't expect it to completely disappear though, this particular method is in order to restore the integrity for this glass primary. The steps to repair your windshield are simple enough and easy to follow. First, you needs to clean the crack utilizing a glass cleaner and remove all regarding glass are actually still departed. After, place a stopping tool in order to isolate the resolve. This tool can be adjusted to cover the whole length within the crack inside the windshield. As process lasso Activation Key Free continued to view my daughter, and this other girl hit better I would not help but feel an immense amount experience. They were transforming in front of all of us. Whatever those coaches told them and whatever those two girls absorbed from their coaches was generating solid hit after solid touched. Unfortunately, concrete crack injection will not work for all basements. The composition of your basement walls determines whether or not you can utilize this basement waterproofing method. Situation walls are made of cinder blocks, you are out of luck. Basement crack injection will only work for poured concrete walls. However, it's necessary to mention that having poured concrete walls doesn't necessarily qualify you for this repair tool. Other factors may come into consideration. The next time that you are discussing the real reasons why concrete cracks, you can say to your friends in which you now actually honestly do know the real answer why concrete cracks.

Hi, I love your work and I asked you this long ago but you never had a chance to answer but I wanna try again: how looks your drawing/planning background process? I mean they are so full of details and life! Like people really live there!
OMG SORRY! Yes I remember that question (/)//(/) and I always wanted to do a little show and tell and then never managed and forgot about it. Sorry!
Long post ahead :D
So let me try now to explain it with words and not so much show and tell. I will see though if I have some old sketches that might help to visualize it.
The simple answer is: I add to it. Basically I start with a simple layout. I define my perspective lines and draw a simple room or the space I need and then add some furniture or squares where I want things to be. Once the layout is done I slowly add more and more details. So the eraser tool is my friend :D and the lasso tool to move around small objects and to see where do they look best and if they cover something I have already drawn I have to move that thing too or erase it.
By now I have some basics down. I draw a certain kind of background. Always something loved in, mix of public and personal space, things I know and that are real. I don't come up with mystical new places. I draw what I know. And after doing this for some time now some of those things are ingrained in my visual library and so some of the items might repeat themselves. Like I have many pieces that have stacked boxes, some bottles or cans around, maybe a take out food box or some plates and bowls, certain ACs, an old tv...you know there is a library of thing I know works and I can fall back on.
Here are some sketches of a pic I did early this year where I kept adding small things to it until it was this complex thing.
Tumblr media
1. I usually start with my characters and a rough sketch of where I want them to be in. And from there define my perspective lines and draw the layout and maybe some details first
Tumblr media
2. From there a fun perspective line battle begins and I also will doodle more details in the surfaces and layout I already have figured out.
Tumblr media
3. I clean up some of those doodle and details and see how things look and what I could still add and some more perspective lines to figure out distance and size.
Tumblr media
4. With this pic I didn't actually define the whole place in the beginning. Actually I often have things in the bg that I'm not yet sure about or don't know how to close the space. Here it was them same. I had an idea of a door but waited until the end. So after I had the door and end of the space I added some more details and final finish and Bam! Final pic!
Fun addition:
Tumblr media
All perspective lines and some sketch layers put over each other will lead to this mess! And references look typically like this. Some things I have to look up and it helps to look at stores or places that are similar to what I want to draw and see what they have and then will try to add some of those objects too if I like them.
I hope this helped!
Thank you!

How I colour jewelled blue eyes!
Hello! This is a simple tutorial I made for @a-perfect-summer-storm but other people are free to follow this tutorial on how I colour the iconic jewelled blue from WMMAP!
Just a bit of a heads up! I am by no means a professional in this. I am simply someone who draws a lot of WMMAP fanart for fun and this is a tutorial on how I personally colour the eyes after doing tons of experimenting in shading the eyes until I found a way I’m most satisfied with. There are several different ways other people colour the eyes and Spoon even made her own tutorial about it! If you guys like the way I colour the eyes and would like to recreate it, feel free to follow these steps!
Also... this is the first time I made a tutorial so sorry if what I’m explaining doesn’t make much sense!
Let’s begin, shall we?
Step 1: Draw your eyes!
Tumblr media
I decided to draw a fairly simple eye sketch. If you guys have drawn your eyes already, we can immediately go to step 2.
Step 2: Add your base colour!
Tumblr media
I usually use the airbrush tool to add the base colour of the eye but you guys are free to use whatever brush you want! I only prefer doing this because I like the fading effect of the eyes. I’ll be providing the colour pallette of the colours I often use to colour the eyes so you guys can freely colourpick them!
Step 3: Add in the first layer!
Tumblr media
After adding in your new layer, clip that layer to the layer underneath it which is your base layer!
After that, pick a darker shade of blue and colour the top half of your eyes! You can use whatever brush you enjoy using for this! For me personally, I used one of the default watercolour brushes on CSP.
After colouring the top half, set your layer into ‘Multiply’. If you don’t like the way it looks at 100% opacity, lower it until you get to the shade you think looks best!
Step 4: Add in the second layer!
Tumblr media
Once you’re done with the previous step, you can head on to the next one! Add in another new layer and clip it to the layer under it.
This time, pick a lighter shade of blue and, using the airbrush tool, colour a bit of the lower half of your eyes. Once you’re done with that, set your layer into the ‘Add Glow’ blending mode but if your art apparent doesn’t have that option, you can go ahead with the simple ‘Add’ since they’re almost the same.
Lower the opacity of the layer if you don’t like how bright it looks! I prefer having my opacity around 50-60% because I like my eyes having a bit of an obvious glow to them. This up to you guys though!
Step 5: Time to add in the ‘jewels’
Tumblr media
Now time for the part where you guys can go wild with this one.
SO! There are a lot of ways to give your eyes the ‘jewel’ effect as I like to call it. I often switch from using triangle brushes and just have them be scattered around the eye area but for this tutorial, I went with my go-to way: by using the ‘Lasso’ tool.
The lasso tool’s my best friend when it comes to colouring the eyes. And this is the part where you guys can go wild with this one.
So, pick a random blue colour and, using the lasso tool, make random shapes with it. Make zig-zag motions or even cross-hatch motions or heck, you can even make any kind of shape you want. However, sometimes you might not be satisfied with the way it looks so you have to do try a few more times until you get it right.
It’s kinda hard for me to explain this part. Basically, experiment a bit when using the lasso tool if you wanna do this.
Once you’re done with using the lasso tool, you can now colour with the colour you picked.
I usually do two layers of this and it would look like this afterward!
Tumblr media
For the first layer, I put the layer into ‘Linear Burn’ blending mode and I set it to 51% opacity! As for the second layer, I set it to ‘Add Glow’ mode and set it to 30% opacity!
You can even do more than two layers! I sometimes do three layers instead of two and it will still look good! Other than using blue colours in this step, you can also use various shades of pink or purple to have more variety!
Step 6: Add in another layer to make them have pupils
Tumblr media
Add in a new layer over the layers in the last step. Using a darker shade of blue, shade the top part of the eyes again and colour in an oval shape in the middle of the eyes so now the characters have pupils :D.
Set the layer to ‘Multiply’ and set it to whatever opacity level you want. For this tutorial, I went with 71% opacity.
Step 7: Add a bit of colour!
Tumblr media
This is honestly my favourite part to do :D
Basically, choose two contrasting colours and for this one I chose a random shade of pink and a random shade of light blue since they’re opposite from each other if you look at the colour wheel.
Use a random watercolour brush and just colour the middle part of the eye like how it’s shown in the picture above!
Set it the layer to ‘Hard Light’ and set it to the opacity you want. I went with 73% for this tutorial!
Step 8: Optional Step!
Tumblr media
I don’t really do this often but if you want your eyes to have a bit more colour in them, adding a dark purple colour at the top part of the eye certainly gives your eye a bit of ‘Oomph!’ in them.
I used the airbrush tool for this and it does give the eye a bit of a softer look, you know?
Last step: Add some finishing touches!
Finally, add some personal touches to your eyes! And after you add in a bit of the eye whites, your jewelled blue eyes would look like this in the end!
Tumblr media
And yeah, that’s all there is to it, really.
I hope this is helpful for you guys who are still clueless on how to colour jewel blue eyes! If you guys have any further questions relating to this, please don’t hesitate in asking me!
Finally, here’s the colour pallette I used for this colouring tutorial as well as the ‘Blending modes’ I used for their layers.
Tumblr media
Hope this is helpful to you @a-perfect-summer-storm!

Art Block tips that helped me
I’ve recently experienced art block after 3 or so months of overcoming my last one. Thankfully this block only lasted a few days thanks to some things I’ve observed and noted down from the previous time. So I’m sharing these few tips in hopes that it might help someone get unstuck :D!
First and foremost if you’re tired, sad or anxious don’t be surprised that you can’t make art, go and take care of yourself by treating yourself with kindness and patience, the sketchbooks and canvases will wait for you :)
The tips are under here:
Separate art studies from the creative time:  When you do art studies you’re there to focus on specific things, learn and understand how things work so you can apply them later in your art. Studies take a lot of energy and focus and are the opposite of the creative "flow” of making your own pieces. If you combine the two the results are either unfocused studies or stiff drawings. When you sit down at your desk ask yourself “Do I want to learn something new or do I want to create something of my own?”
When you have an idea don’t be afraid of being messy: Let’s say you want to make a picture of several cats kolo dancing in the moonlight. How do you go about doing this? Well since you came up with the idea you already have a vague image in your mind, sketch it out with simple shapes, stick figures, circle and spheres etc Don’t worry about cat anatomy, or the dancer’s moves, sketch out the essence of it. This method removes the need to be perfect or accurate.
Ok after the messy sketch then what? Well now that you have sketched out the essence of your idea (and hopefully had fun doing so) now you go on to look for references! You put the creative process on pause and you can do a few brief studies if you need to: anatomy, color schemes, values, poses. Pick out a few of your favorites but don't obsess over them, they are a guide, a tool.
You know much more than you think. You’ve probably been drawing for a few years now. You’ve probably done some studies and drawn more than one type of subject. Then you have already internalized some of that information. I used to be obsessed with capturing the minute detail of the subject, and not be able to draw ANYTHING without reference. Instead of a useful tool, references became another obstacle to my creativity. That’s perfectionism my friend, and that’s no good. Here is an exercise a good friend of mine offered: Draw a few characters, animals and objects from imagination. Make sure that the subjects have no personal value to you (no ocs for example) so that if you make a mistake you won’t feel bad about it. Make the process relaxed and comfortable, pour a nice cup of joe, listen to your favorite music ... You will notice that you do indeed know how to draw some things without reference, and it’ll help with your confidence.
The more you do studies the more you understand This seems evident but the more you understand your subject the freer you can be and the easier it’ll be to draw it from imagination in the future. If you really struggle with something to the point of frustration (as in you can’t get it right even with reference) It means you have to study it. Have a study list, for example: hands, perspective, color theory etc. And one of those days you want to study pick something from the list, and look for videos on youtube or useful sites like line of action etc. Only study one thing at the time. You can go from studying hands to studying arms since they’re more immediately connected, but you can’t study hands and then jump to learning perspective right after. Trust me you can learn perfectly fine with the resources online, and I’m sure you’re clever enough to do it :D
Mistakes don’t mean you “suck”  I’ve noticed that the two most common causes for art block are perfectionism and lack of self-confidence.  The two can often go in tandem which is worse :’D But let me remind you of something, you can fix your piece along the whole process. Use erasers, lasso tools, liquify , select, paint it all over etc If something looks off to you then you also know deep inside how to fix it. Useful ways to see what clunks: flip canvas horizontally (helps with placement, proportions), turn the image to grayscale (helps to check values and where your eye tends to look), look at your image in thumbnail size and ask yourself if it’s clear, see the pose’s silhouette and ask yourself if you can tell what the character is doing etc. Don’t fret, everything can always be fixed :)
Perfectionism, sometimes it stops you before you begin Perfectionism causes you to overwork a piece, it makes you draw less, it makes art stressful, it brings insecurity. Let’s remove it with a simple exercise. It can be combined with the “draw things from imagination” once you’ve drawn something you like: dont do line art, don’t shade it, keep it as simple and crude as possible and then...post it. Yes, post it. You’re not at your best? You’re only human, this will help you embrace that very human side of you. You make mistakes. So what? The more mistakes you make the more you know what you need to study and the better at art you become. Mistakes are there to show us what we need to learn. See them as another tool and not a sign of failure.
Make the process as enjoyable as possible: You like art. You love drawing. Never forget this. Otherwise why are you drawing if you don’t enjoy it? It’s easy to fall prey to the mentality of those relatable memes that “art= suffering” or “I can’t even draw the other eye”. No no no my friends, these messages are fueling your insecurities instead of overcoming them. Let me tell you what, art is fun. It is. Art is fun, because I decided to make it fun again. And you should decide on that too. Personally I adore lineart but my hand-eye coordination is lacking to do it digitally, so....I just skipped it. Yes. I skipped it. I do the sketch, I clean it up a bit and then jump onto color which I adore. It allowed me to draw more and more freely. When I draw I listen to music, make strokes with the rhythm, I take breaks often and I drink my favorite iced teas. If you don’t like coloring do it in grayscale, if you love lineart then do that etc It doesn’t mean you won’t learn your weak points in the future with studies and practice, but you won’t let your weaknesses prevent you from drawing at all. No no, you won’t let them. You draw because you want to, despite of them.
Don’t wait for inspiration, provoke it  Inspiration is not a divine and capricious muse. You make inspiration. It’s easy just collect all the things you like, music, artists, objects, characters, animals, patterns, plants etc Make boards on pinterest or similar sites, combine things you like. You like suits? You like birds? You can draw a bird in a suit, or a bird-inspired suit design, there is frankly a lot of ideas that can spring up from little things like these.
When a project stops being enjoyable either pause it for now or move on to the next thing. Pieces aren’t precious. They’re not “the one time I got x right” they are one of many. This advice goes mainly to hobbyists who can afford the luxury of passing to a new project. I have a WIP of a character who is overly complicated (I enjoy a challenge from time to time) sitting for half a month. I sometimes come back to it and add something... but as soon as it starts to create discomfort and insecurity instead of enjoyment I move onto something else. In the meantime I created 3 or 4 new pieces. If I had waited on finishing that piece I would have been severely creatively and physically exhausted. The art comes from you, not inspiration. The more art you make the better you become.
That’s about it :D I know it’s long but I prefer to be thorough and cover all the possibilities. If you have read of this: Thank you so much I hope this helps you at least a bit, if it helps only 1 other person I’d still be very happy. Have a nice one, and kick art block’s butt!

Tumblr media
Home Sweet Home.
Exiting the train station, you exhaled a deep breath and took in your surroundings. Most importantly, the huge sign that had “WELCOME TO CENTRAL CITY” scrawled across the board.
After the events of the day, you’d decided that the best course of action would be to make your way to this Earth’s Central City.
You’d figured they had to have a Star Labs which you knew would hold the necessary equipment you needed to fix the extrapolator or at least the communication function so you could contact Cisco.
Luckily, whilst on your journey, you’d managed to hack into the train’s wireless computer so you could then erase the museum’s security footage from your phone. The footage of your fight with the robbers was the last thing you needed getting out.
Hailing a cab, you made your way to Star Labs, having pocketed one of the maps that detailed the route to the facility from the train station.
In little over 20 minutes, you had arrived. Paying the driver with what little cash you had left, you craned your neck to look up at this Earth’s Star Labs.
It was different to the one back home. Yes, it was modelled fairly similarly but this had a more...robotic feeling and was definitely a lot darker than yours.
Though you supposed that was because this Star Labs seemed to be more full, several employees walking in and out of the building.
Whereas the Star Labs back home, whilst full of technology, was only home to Team Flash and no one else. The risk far too great for ordinary people to see what you were doing.
Entering the building, you quickly donned a white lab coat and went in search for the equipment you needed to fix the breach device.
Finding a secure room, you put on your mask and used your powers to open the door.
As you walked in, you let out a small gasp. The room was larger than you’d expected; filled to the brim with computers and screens all hooked up to one another. Making your way to one of the larger ones, you began writing a line of code. Then you took out the extrapolator, placing it on the table and grabbed some tools that were on the desk.
You started to mend the broken device, remaining careful and alert incase someone was going to catch you. You were about halfway through when you felt a familiar rush of air and found yourself in an unknown area.
Not unlike Star Labs, it was filled with computers and the like but also held training equipment in the far side of the room. Then you felt yourself tied to the back of a chair, staring up at a group of men.
You recognised most of them, except the one that could only be described as a half-man, half-cyborg hybrid.
“Oh fuck.” You murmured to yourself.
This was all you needed.
To be captured by none other than Batman, Superman and the Flash.
“Yes, indeed. Who are you?” Superman asked, his arms crossed over his chest.
You narrowed your brows, analysing each of their outfits. This Earth’s Superman outfit was different to the one back home. Batman, you’d never really met before so you couldn’t comment.
But the most interesting was the Flash’s outfit.
It appeared to be made up of metallic materials whereas Barry’s was made out of intense heat-resistant and abrasion resistant polymer and some other stuff that Cisco had explained to you that you didn’t take note of.
“More importantly, where are you from?”
You heard a familiar voice say behind you.
You turned your body, as best you could since you were confined to a chair, and felt your jaw drop at the female who stood before you.
Not only was she the woman you’d met earlier at the museum but she was freaking Wonder Woman!
“Holy shit. Cisco is going to be so jealous he didn’t come here.”
“Who’s Cisco? And where did you come from?”
Not giving you time to answer, the brunette continued, “I saw you earlier at the Metropolis museum. You told me about the criminals.”
“We tried to pull the security footage but it had mysteriously been erased.” The man you nicknamed Cyborg said. “Why were you at Star Labs?” He asked.
“You know. You gotta let a girl answer before you continue asking questions.” You joked.
“This isn’t a joke. Tell us who you are.” Batman spoke for the first time, his voice coming out hoarse and rough. Probably from a voice distorter.
“I will. As soon as you untie me.”
When the five of them stared at you, you sighed.
“Guess I’ll do it myself then.”
With a flick of your fingers, the ropes that bound you came loose and you stood to face the group.
They immediately went into fighting stances, ready to take you down if need be.
“Oh, for God’s sake,” you scoffed, “I’m not going to hurt you. I just don’t like being tied up. Unless we’re in the bedroom.” You teased, laughing to yourself.
“You’re a meta.” Wonder Woman commented.
Placing your hand in your pockets, you were about to reply when you felt that they were empty.
“Wait, where the hell is the extrapolator?”
“Oh, you mean this?” The Flash said, holding the device in his hand.
“Give that to me.” You ordered, charging your way to the speedster before Batman stood in your way.
“I don’t think so.”
“Barry, that is not something to play around with. Give me that.” You repeated.
“Wait, how do you know my name?” He paused, everyone’s eyes trained on you.
“It’s a long story. Now please, put down that device.” You sighed when he placed it on the table beside him.
When he put it on the surface, he must have accidentally pressed a button because Cisco’s body popped up like a hologram.
“What on Earth?” You heard Wonder Woman say.
“Y/N! Where the hell are you? Woah, is that Batman?!” Cisco’s voice crackled through the device as the hologram glitched.
“Cisco, the device broke. Can you track what Earth I’m on using the GPS?”
“I can try. But I need you to fix the small chip that’s in the extrapolator first.”
The Cisco hologram glitched out and faded away.
“Shit.” You murmured to yourself.
“What do you mean ‘what Earth’? Who are you?” Batman said.
Sighing, you spoke, “I’m not from this Earth.”
“You’re an alien?” Barry exclaimed.
“What? No! The only alien here is Clark.”
You gestured towards the Man of Steel.
“How do you know who I am? Did Lex send you?”
“Oh, please. As if I’d work with that idiot. Besides, I like his sister much better. As I was saying, I’m from an Earth called Earth Prime.”
Then you gave them all a brief explanation of the rebirth of the Universe and how you’d arrived here.
“Ever heard of Everett’s many-worlds theory? Simply put, this Earth is not the only Earth that exists. I come from a parallel Earth where I work with the Flash and several other heroes, including Supergirl and Batwoman. Though no one’s seen Kate in a while.”
Looking into each of their eyes, you could still see apprehension.
Facing Wonder Woman, you held out your wrist, “Use your lasso of truth and you’ll see I’m not lying.”
“How did you-”
She started before you interrupted her, “Do it and then I’ll explain.”
You watched as she removed the rope from her armour and wrapped one end around your wrist.
Your eyes widened as the rope started to glow a bright yellow, the material feeling warm against your skin.
“What I just said was true. And I know about all of you. Your parallel selves are my family and friends back home. And Wonder Woman-”
“You may call me Diana.” She interjected, flashing you a kind smile.
“And Diana,” you corrected, “you’re somewhat of a Legend where I come from. I visited Themyscira once, it was beautiful.”
“My home is hidden from Man’s world. How did you see it?”
“My sister, Sara, travels through time with her team and when I worked with her for a brief period, my friend, Zari, and I, took Helen of Troy to your island to save her. Anyways, you do exist on my Earth but no one really knows of you.”
Diana stared at you for a few moments, her intense glare making you weak in the knees, if you were being honest.
It was as if she was looking right into your soul.
Whatever she saw must have pleased her because her gaze faltered and she removed the lasso from you.
“She’s telling the truth, guys.”
“Thank you. Now I need to fix the extrapolator or I won’t be able to get home.”
“So that little thing can make anyone travel between worlds?” Cyborg asked.
“Yes, exactly.”
“It’s like one of those damned mother boxes that almost destroyed our world.” Bruce said harshly. “We can’t risk having that here. We need to destroy it.”
“Don’t even think about it.” You spat out, your hands clenched at your sides.
You narrowed your eyes, watching for any indication of movement from the vigilante.
The only warning you had was Bruce’s muscle tensing before he reached for the table that held the device.
In a quick motion, you used your powers to throw the former into a pile of boxes to break his fall.
The playboy rose to his feet and charged at you, ignoring the shouts of his team.
You blocked his punch and deflected his kick. Ducking when he swung his arm, you used all your strength to throw him over you.
He reached into his cape and you flung whatever he was about to hurl at you into the wall. He swiped at your legs, making you stumble to the ground. You picked yourself up and when he ran at you, once more, you used your powers of telekinesis to rise in the air above him.
You extended your hand in front of you and lifted him in the air to face you. He struggled within your hold before you both looked down at Diana who’d shouted.
“Enough! Y/N, put Bruce back on the ground.”
With a crash, Bruce fell to the floor whilst you gracefully landed upright on your feet.
“Bruce, this device isn’t as harmful as the mother boxes. And it is her only way home, we cannot destroy it.”
Diana said calmly as Bruce huffed and murmured a curse.
“Listen, Batboy. I will kick your ass again if you don’t shut up.” You said, meaning every word.
“I’m not trying to be hostile here but I only came here to prove my theory which I’ve clearly done so now I just want to repair the device and go home.”
Walking over to the table, you picked up the extrapolator and inspected it. Your heart dropped when you saw a crack in the chip.
You knew that there was no way to fix the locator.
“Y/N, is everything okay?”
Your voice not strong enough to answer, you shook your head. Clicking the communication button, you saw Cisco’s hologram appear again.
“Y/N, have you fixed the GPS chip yet? Y/N, what’s wrong?” Your friend asked in concern.
“The chip’s broken. Majorly so. I’m going to need to replace it but the only replica of the chip is-”
“Here.” Cisco finished. “Is there a Star Labs near you?”
“Yeah, I went there earlier to fix the damage but there wasn’t any chip. I checked.”
“Okay, I just need to create another extrapolator and then somehow come and get you.”
“Cisco, you know that can take weeks.” You sighed.
“Y/N, it’ll be fine. We’ve been stuck on other Earths before. Including with a telepathic gorilla. I doubt there’s any Earth worse than that.” He said, trying to inject some levity in the conversations.
“You’re right. Look, don’t tell the team. You and I both know that they’ll just worry and I don’t need them telling Sara or Dinah either because they’re too protective. Just lie and say that I was missing Laurel and decided to take a vacation.”
“You got it. Stay safe, y/n. And keep this extrapolator with you so I can speak to you.”
“You got it. Bye, Cisco.”
Once again, the hologram faded away and you hung your head.
Cisco was right.
It was not the first time this had happened and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. You were damned if you’d let this get you down.
Clearing your throat, you straightened and faced the group, having forgotten that they were there for the entire exchange.
“Guess I’m going to be in your hair for a little while longer.”
***
It had been 3 weeks since the day you’d arrived on this Earth.
Diana had kindly invited you to stay with her whilst you waited for Cisco to arrive. You remained in constant contact with the latter; he wanted to keep you updated on his progress.
You were still on rocky terms with Bruce, him not appreciating you beating him. He was stubborn and irritating but reminded you of Oliver in that regard.
You helped the Flash with his speed, giving him tips on how to manage it and retain his strength which you’d learned from having closely worked with Barry all these years.
You also got on fairly well with Superman and Cyborg and even met Aquaman who tried to hit on you the moment he saw you.
But out of everyone, you’d grown close to the Amazonian warrior. The first night you’d stayed with her, you found yourself talking to her all through the night until the sun had come up.
She had told you about her family back home and you told her about yours. You supposed it was easier to tell her than anyone else since she’d endured so much loss and pain and understood what it was like to be separated from her family.
“Y/N, you ready to go?”
Interrupted from your thoughts, you turned to face the beautiful brunette who had a soft smile painted on her face.
She had asked you to dinner a few days before, telling you she wanted to give you both a relaxing evening. You had graciously, and rather, immediately accepted the invitation.
The truth was that, over these past few weeks, you found yourself hoarding a crush on the Goddess.
You could have disregarded it as a schoolgirl crush but the last time you’d ever felt like this, was when you were with Thea. But that had ended amicably after she found love with Roy.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
After eating outdoors at a small bistro, the two of you strolled down the street. Then your heart skipped a beat when she slid her hand in yours.
Looking up at her, you saw a gleam in eyes as she smiled at you which you reciprocated. You basked in the feel of her hand against yours, her warmth spreading through you.
Then you both jumped when her phone started to trill in her pocket.
“Diana Prince.” She answered her phone, humming in response before disconnecting the call.
“That was Bruce. He needs us at Star Labs. Both of us.”
She answered when you opened your mouth to ask just that. Closing your mouth, you nodded and ducked with her into an alley so you could both fly to the building.
“What is it, Bruce?” Diana asked as the two of you walked into the facility.
“The mainframe’s been going crazy. It’s as if someone’s breaking in here but no one actually is.” Cyborg answered instead.
Running up to the screen, you noticed the flashing alarms on the screen.
“Well, at least you guys have better security than we do.”
Pulling up the schematics of the building, you furrowed your brows at the thermal energy reading.
Parting your lips, ready to voice your confusion, you jumped back when a breach opened up in front of you.
When it closed, it left two people in its wake.
Barry and Sara.
“Y/N, Cisco told us what happened. We’re here to take you home.”
Glancing behind you, your eyes fell on Diana whose eyes flickered between you and your friends.
“God, I’m going to kill Cisco.”
