OHOHOHOHO YES YOU ARE ENABLING ME I NEED TO INFO DUMP!!!

first of all, yes they are small. not only was the gem that was supposed to form split in two, they were also in the ground for a veeerrrrrryyy long time. theyre overcooked like amethyst! which made them even smaller!

but you see, normally onyx’s are HUGE! roughly eleven feet tall :D if onyx’s were normal sized, ingo and emmet would have come out at barely two feet tall, but luckily theyre a bit taller at 4’6”

being compressed in the ground for so long also made them both extremely durable! onyx’s represent strength and protection, so not not only are the twins verrrrry difficult to poof, they can withstand extreme temperatures like garnet :D

Also, since we never see an onyx in steven universe, i like to think they were actually discontinued! with the dwindling natural materials it just wasn't beneficial to make these giant eleven foot gems that just stood guard at warp pads. so Emmet and Inggo emerged verrrry late like, extremely late. im thinking this au takes place around the time peridot becomes a little friend creature, so the timeline is:

gemwar: onyx discontinued, emmet and ingo forming

after gem war: 5,000 or so years later, emmet and ingo emerge. very small

before the series and while it's going: Emmet and ingo are discovered and made to be entertainment for important gem higher ups. i'm thinking this goes on for a few hundred years

bit after peri is part of the crystal gems: emmet and ingo escape to earth and meet the gems!

now, emmet and ingo don't have their signature big coats on homeworld, and instead wear something similar to pearls. bodysuit with a lil frilly thing :p cus just like pearls, they were basically just supposed to be decorations

Emmet and Ingo, early on in their life as toys, managed to steal a device they could use to get information. haha lmao gem internet

anyway, whenever they were able, they would research things using this device, and formed a particular interest in earth. they read about the crystal gems and life on earth and- get ready

TRAINS

upon discovering the existence of trains, on earth and other alien societies, they were obsessed. they would talk about them as often as they could, and accidentally incorporated train talk into their everyday vocabulary, which the gems around them thought was verry strange

eventually, the reason emmet and ingo decide to escape, is big sad :(. so basically, the twins were given to a gem who led a platoon of soldiers, and threw emmet and ingo into their room and told them they could do whatever they wanted with them. so, the soldiers decide to just fuck the boys up. reallly beat the shit outta them, and they actually manage to poof ingo, something that had never happened before. then they start shouting about trying to shatter ingo, and this obviously freaked the hell out of emmet. so Emmet grabs ingos gem, and because he’s just small as hell compared to all the other gems in the room, manages to slip through them and escape.

now he's on the run, and just trying to hide long enough for ingo to reform. when ingo eventually does, they decide their life on homeworld is definitely over so they either have the choice of being shattered, or stealing a ship and escaping. they of course decide that stealing a ship would be better :] they know the layout of the area pretty well, so they are able to get to where ships are stored pretty easily, the only problem is actually flying them, buuuuut because of the device they stole, they had basic knowledge of how to operate it. they were being attacked the whole time, but did manage to successfully fly off of homeworld!!!!

It takes a while, but they manage to make it to earth. they’re researching humans a bunch and decide to choose human names for themselves! because humans are just so cool! so thats where their names come from :D

around this time is a bit after peridots famous “calling yellow diamond a clod” moment, so when the gems see a homeworld ship entering the atmosphere, they immediately assume the worst. they attack it, and the ship crashes somewhere in the forest. In the crash, Emmets gem is cracked. no good. very bad :(

when the gems find the crash, and they see emmet and ingo inside, they immediately realize “these arent dangerous gems, these are just little guys. we just attacked a couple of little guys and now theyre crying. oh no :(“ cus they r just little guys!!! emmets gem is cracked and hes scared and ingo is holding him and crying his freaking eyes out cus his twin is hurt :((( and steven tries to get closer to heal emmet and ingo hisses at him like a damn little creature,, and steven has to explain that they didnt mean to hurt them and they just want help, and ingo is still suspicious, but he lets steven slap his spit on emmet

also i just realized i am just writing a fanfic here so i'm gonna stop before i write any more lmao (and ive just decided to write a whole actual fanfic about this so prepare urselves)

last thing im gonna talk about is their weapons cus i like what i came up with :]

I couldn't find a name for the weapon name, but it’s basically a giant deerhorn knife,,, like a batleth? yeah its like a reverse batleth :D so ingo and emmet each have a batleth, and when they fuse, their weapon becomes Giant frisbee saw of death

my ideal modern day top cat reboot (not just tc and/or the gang serving as side characters in an ensemble cast in a hanna-barbera crossover cartoon) would be like,

tc and benny are the same as they always are (selfish hedonistic get-rich-quick schemer and his naive childhood bff enabler)

dibble is a private investigator (like he's always wanted to be) who is tc's other childhood friend (boyfriend) whose investigations somehow always end up intersecting with tc's schemes even when he's not actively investigating tc. i cant decide if i want him to stay human or not tho (dog dibble au my beloved miss u baby)

trans lesbian choo choo my beloved. weird and emotional, and constantly talks about her girlfriend lola glamour (theyre so t4t)

non-committal flirty serial monogamist gold digger fancy fancy, based on a mix of his cartoon personality and comic personality. like if fujiko mine were a catboy, who will sometimes betray the gang but they barely really hold it against him. tc doesnt, anyway

oblivious math wiz brain who is probably nonbinary but he's got finances to go over so he doesnt really care about that right now.

former-hellcat butch biker lesbian spook *giggles* i cant decide whether i want spook to be a she/her lesbian or a he/him lesbian, but very top cat begins/comic based characterization

roxy from the scrapped reboot finally gets to join the gang :) she can have jellystone brain's personality since he's not using it. she also has something extremely gay going on with spook

then side characters would be like,

myra and sheldon live in the city and periodically get involved in tc shenanigans! myra is very much so a neurotic worrywart who is constantly freaking out over the ways her twin brother's schemes can backfire. sheldon didnt really have a solid characterization in his book so maybe he can have jellystone fancy's personality?

kitty glitter from top cat and the beverly hills cats can be recurring because i like her <3 to me shes so lupin-iii-sadgirl coded

lola glamour gets to appear now and then and gets to be so annoyingly sappy pda with choo choo. has a lot of mentions and cameos though cuz shes still a star and shes dating choo choo who adores her childhood best friend turned lover <3 <3 <3

dibbles ex-wife periodically shows up and tc hates her soooooo much which is ironic because theyre kind of parallels. foils. the same but different. i would emphasize them being so similar and in fact that she reminded him of tc is why he married her and she does not like that one bit. self indulgent but i really dont care <3

i think they should have two kids (fred and daniel, based on comic dibble's names) just because i think it'd be funny as fuck. am i making him even more like zenigata? sure but my justification is dibble is a little league coach and camp counselor which is stereotypically things dads do to connect with their kids :P

jazz and beau can be recurring antagonists with their own gang that being dark parallels to tc's gang. teehee.

trixie from the first movie can be a recurring character too but only if shes an irredeemable antagonist in jazz's gang. the rest of jazz's gang consists of pantera from top cat begins, rocky from the comics, and skratch gets to exist separate from spook.

i guess griswald could be recurring since he had two eps and in the comics there was a recurring antagonist who was a bulldog but i dont care enough about griswald to expand on that idea

- oh wait he can be the actual cop since dibble is a PI now. duh. he literally became a police dog in one ep so it works.

cop cat from the comics can be griswald's partner although i think he needs a better name than "cop cat" ... maybe fuse him with officer prowler so he gets a cooler name. idk

Linked Universe Soul Eater AU

i coouuullld work on the long linked universe fic i have been slowly chipping away at

but instead ive decided to type of the lu soul eater au ive had cooking in my brain since i first got covid. it is the nature of all humankind (me) to have soul eater au/headcanons for all things i like. lu is no different. please feel free to talk to me about this im obsessed with it

sky: he is a meister. at first, it was him a sun against the world (meaning, in class at dwma). sun is a shield weapon, and while that made fighting-styles need to get creative, they always managed. however, during an adventure, they find a student named fi, a sword-weapon, and she joins them as sky’s sword. so now he’s like a full, cool knight. during that adventure, however, Something Happens, and the kishin Demise they were fighting traps fi in her sword form. it’s horribly tragic, and sky and sun can feel her getting quieter and quieter as time goes on. they don’t know how to stop it, and its scary. they also team up with groose, whose two weapons (his friends in the game) are gun/cannons. i just feel like groose deserves a gun.

four: he is one guy, a meister. (i was tempted to make him his split brothers pretending to be twins and not four of them, and theyre all weapons tho) but really, its four. he went on his first adventure with a much older weapon (the minish cap enzlo) as a mentor, but at the end enzlo basically said ‘its time for me to retire.’ four then moved to death city to figure himself out, and immediately got wrapped up in a witch’s plan, vaati, who wanted to figure out what makes meister and weapon souls tick. he kidnapped four and broke his soul into pieces. at first, four thought it was only four pieces, but eventually realized vaati ripped a piece of him out and infused it with some black blood, and poof! out comes shadow, a weapon. (kinda like crona, but separate body). the soul fuck-up also, temporarily, split four into four people (because. idk. magic. and soul eater bc. let me have this ok.) and while at the end, four fused back into himself, shadow stayed separate, though he can hop into four’s shadow at will. four then goes back to death academy, and tries to hide shadow as best he can. the deku tree finds out, of course, but lets him keep it a secret. they pretend like all that happened was he got turned into a weapon, and so shadow hides because theyre all scared of people hating him for being the pure essence of black blood (when the chain finds out, its obviously all sympathy and love and a little “holy shit thats awesome”)

shadow mostly turns into a scythe, because thats what vaati wanted in a weapon (he took the term “death scythe” too literally), but he can sometimes turn into a glaive/staff that holds pseudo-elemental attacks, and him and four are working on him holding that form more bc hit makes him more comfortable. four also cant split anymore, but the four pieces of himself are still separate. sometimes they work together smoothly, but sometimes its a cacophony of noise and yelling and migraines.

also due to his... i hesitate to call it adventure. but due to everything four is very good at reading souls. he figures out twilight and midna’s whole deal right away, and pieces together warrior’s fairly quickly. he can tell legend and wild have more forms than they send to show off, and can read hryule’s soul better than hryule can for himself (and learns things about hyrule that he doesnt even know about himself.) but four is a good kid and keeps this all to himself (and yet, still doesnt tell the others about himself. bc hes scared of them being freaked out)

time: he and his wife, malon, are a badass duo, honestly. malon is a death scythe, though her real form is a huge, sickass claymore. they live on campus, and spend most of their time tending to the garden and outdoor parts of campus. they occasionally go on missions, but try not to because they went through enough as youth (taking on a full-fledged kishinn(majora and the fierce deity stuff) and absorbing part of its soul into your body to stop it will make you a little tired of fighting, and that was only their second adventure). time, however, cant stop himself from bonding with and wanting to protect all these new students, and it doesnt help the hero worship a lot of them have towards him.

as for times past, he was dropped off on the academy’s doorstep as a baby, and raised by the deku tree himself. when he was old enough to begin classes, he was a little... out of touch with people his own age because of this, and some folks were pretty mean to him. and then he met malon, and had the biggest case of puppy love/crush possible (but he couldnt figure out his own feelings). they teamed up for a while, got far in their schooling, saved the world. the normal stuff a student does there. that first adventure took it out of him though, so he just kinda... disappeared for a while without telling anyone. malon got pissed, of course, but not fully at him, more at... the world for not being better about helping everyone after these horrible adventures. she goes after him, finds him fighting a kishin by himself, no weapon, mostly a soul-battle, and helps him finish the fight. he’s now missing an eye, has half a kishin in him, and she expects him to be even more broody and awkward, but hes just so happy to see her. (he doesnt confess then, though). they go back together, take a little time to rest and heal, graduate, malon becomes a death scythe, and only then does time confess. malon gives him a “i was waiting for you to be ready :)” and theyre very, very happy. or, as happy as you can be in this world.

legend: he is a weapon, and he can transform into tons of different weapons, like wild, but while wild’s are more... traditional weapons, legends can turn into a sword, a shield, and the most random weapons one can conceive of (meaning, the cooler more flashy ones you see in soul eater, and also his massive amounts of tools in lu). this poor kid has gone on so many missions, mostly entirely by himself, as his own mesiter, basically. he fought with ravio for a while, when they met, because they were soul-compatible, but ravio quickly decided being a meister wasn’t for him. they still room together in death city (also may rename this deku city if i rename the school to deku weapon and meister academy. even if it is funny to have the happy big tree’s city named death city). legend was on his own for a while in school, until he met hyrule

hyrule: he is a meister. he never found a weapon he was compatible with, and instead carried around just a regular sword while scraping through his classes (other students were like, is this allowed??? but death (the deku tree, bc i think its funny to make the deku tree death in this au) was like ‘lmao he’s managing to complete all the missions we send him on, so why not.’) hyrule and legend are eventually on a mission together, and in a jam, hyrule is like ‘please let me try to fight with you’ and legend is like ‘fucking fine. you burn your hands bc i’m not compatible with anyone, thats not my problem.’ and then it works and they kick fucking ass together, tho hyrule struggles to use legend in any form other than sword, and legend hates being in sword-form (bc past trauma he refuses to talk about until it messes with their compatibility. they have a little character arc and hyrule trains using legend in other forms and legend is more comfortable in sword form. and yes the trauma is marin-related. when he partnered with ravio, he never went into sword form)

hyrule is also good at soul resonance and attacks and stuff (like maka and stein). he just has no real training on it bc where he grew up, all the weapons stuff and soul stuff was seen as taboo, so even as he’s actively learning about it all in his classes and knows his kind of abilities are seen as cool and useful, he doesnt want to tell people. (legend eventually finds out and helps him find someone to teach him about it. that someone is time. hyrule quickly becomes super good at it all)

twilight: while not a witch, he is the child of a witch and a human. he was abandoned in a village as a baby, and they raised him communally as their own (though, of course, rusl takes him in the most) he doesnt have any magical powers, but when a witch (zant) came to his village and cursed everyone, he managed to survive by just being cursed into his wolf-form. he had never trained to use a weapon, but quickly meets midna (zant’s half-sister. shes technically a witch, but shes also a weapon. shes a very very weak witch in terms of magic.) on his journey. what follows his basically what youd expect, but he never loses midna companionship in this au. the two of them go to death city and enroll in classes and begin training. only time and the deku tree/death know about his wolf form, which he keeps hidden due to the prejudice again witches in the school. when he first meets wild, who has no memories and is so confused with the world, he just got back from a mission. he immediately latches onto him and helps him figure things out.

also midna turns into these cool as gauntlet/gloves things. with them, twi can hookshot (launch one and the fist goes out and retracts), punch so so good, and charge up for Shadow Blast things for ranged attacks.

warriors: He is actually a weapon, though he hides this from literally everyone. before he came to death academy (which im considering renaming Deku Academy, bc the deku tree is death in this au), he was guilted into being the weapon for a girl named cia. her sister always suspected something was off, but lana never spoke up bc her sister was always there when she tried. eventually, he learned that cia was helping a kishin and was going to try to feed him human souls so they could be powerful (and together) forever, and he got the FUCK outta there. he told himself he would never turn into a weapon again, and he met athena (his zelda. i like that name better for her bc shes literally the goddess of wisdom and warfare), a rapier weapon who could also turn into a bow. (yes i like when the weapons turn into things. its cool also also lets me keep more sword imagery while still giving the boys different weapon options) he teams up with her and they fight, and no one suspects wars is also a weapon bc of how good he is at disguising his soul (he’s only good with his own tho, he can’t read others for shit).

wind: a meister. he grew up in a coastal town, training with some older weapon and meister duos but never really focusing too much on it, until a bird-witch kidnaps his sister. he teams up with his childhood friend, tetra, to get her back. tetra doesnt know shes a weapon at this point (i dont remember if thats how that works in soul eater but shh my au my rules) until she discovers that during the mission. she can turn into a hammer, which functions (obviously) like a hammer, but also as a hookshot (the top flings off, turns sharp, and then retracts), or the sides of the head of the hammer open and suck/blow wind very powerfully (like the gust jar). they get his sister back and wind and terta are like “that was fucking awesome wanna do that forever?” and then they go to death city to go to school.

wild: he is a weapon, like tsubaki, and can turn into basically any weapon he chooses. his zelda, flora, is his meister. they first met when wild first showed that ability to his parents, and wilds family brought him to flora’s father so she could be his meister. this is the past, because i want it to be. so flora’s dad is rich and pays his family for him to be flora’s weapon. wilds family isnt malicious about it, theyre just struggling to get by. they technically give wild a choice in it and ask him if he’s okay, but wild is young and knows this is how he can help his family, so he doesnt really see “no” as an option. he figures he can rise up in station here (tho this is only 100 years before everything else, so the world isnt too “social classes are you stay where you were born unless you become a knight and we still have noblemen and stuff,” but it’s still there. its actually fading, which is why flora’s dad is so intent on her being a good and powerful meister, and why he’s picking a weapon from a lower social class at all (its also bc wilds ability is rare)).

so wild is raised side by side with flora, who hates him like in canon (meaning she doesn’t hate him, just hates how easy it is for him to access his different forms and he he goes along with his lot in life. she just wants to go to school and be her own person, but her dad wants her to be a world-famous meister). hes still not treated super well (he’s not floras equal in the eyes of her father), but he can go visit his family on their days off from training and stuff. eventually, they go on a mission to stop a well-known kishin. flora is extremely good at soul stuff, and basically locks him in place when he mortally wounds wild. wild is taken away by their battle companion impa and her meister, to Death Academy (where they had gone to study occasionally, but still mostly stayed with flora’s father and his private tutors), where he is put into stasis and sleeps for a hundred years. flora and the kishin, known as Calamity, are locked away as the soul-battle rages in in their minds. one hundred years later, wild wakes up with no memories but a voice calling out to his soul. he trains, on his own, because no meister can hold onto him, and goes out on his own to get flora back. he fights by himself with only parts of his body transformed, gets flora, and takes her back to the school, where the two of them rest. now they get to acclimatize to life 100 years in the future. flora struggles because she should be sad- her dad is long gone, wild doesnt fully remember her, everything is different, but at least she can study like she always wanted to.

she still wields wild like a badass, though wild tends to take missions on his own without telling her so they pass the fighting-oriented classed while flora focuses on her studies. she notices only half the time (not for a want of trying tho, wild is just really sneaky)

as of now, i dont have any real... plot with these. just everyones backstories and stuff. but i love the idea of the deku tree making time and malon take all these students on a field trip, which quickly spirals into a whole adventure.

michaels timeline (notes from google doc feel free to ignore)

be born as a beautiful little twin along with elizabeth. dont ask what happened to his mother because i dont know. he doesnt either. williams gay.

sister goes missing. this is very sad and baby michael does not know how to cope, especially since he and elizabeth were very close. bullying from fritz and his friends get worse. charlie also goes missing around this time, which makes everything even worse. he saw his OWN DAD kill charlie... this is getting scary for him!

he gets bit and what a CONVENIENT alibi for Willaim afton. his baby boy got hurt SO BADLY hes busy fucking raising his disabled child. I have not decided yet if Michael is a robot or not yet. I was already toying with the idea of a Mikebot au, but im not sure how i feel making it canon, im still really on the fence on how i feel about that. Either way, Michael is resurrected under the guise of it being a freak accident. And nursed back to health, verrry very luckily for William, the boy has a fuzzy memory. Michaels brother, and his brothers friends also all go missing around this time. They are presumed dead, along with Charlie and Elizabeth.

Michael is taken out of schooling to help him recover and so william can keep a very, very very very very very close eye on him. he had already been keeping a close watch on michael after elizabeths disappearance and especially after michael had witnessed what he had witnessed. Michael was never put into school again, and instead began working at the resturant himself. William, a very strong capitalist, and very smart engeneer, saw no problem in taking michael out of school permanently, setting him to work, and teaching him everything he knew. this continues until hes 15.

william afton had to fake his own death to keep his innocence and could no longer keep schooling michael, . who was put into the foster system.. The evidence was begining to pile up and he had to hide. Michael would have immediately been put into henrys care, but henry was on trial for murder at the time. henry spent six months to a year in jail, before being released as innocent, and was able to pull michael out of the foster system and into his home.

Michael and henry lived a simple, easy, quiet life. They didn't get along great, there was a lot of anger and hurt on both sides that got reflected onto eachother. lots of fighting. the worst parts were the interviews or interest in the case, it was the biggest thing to happen in hurricane utah and still is. michael lived this way until he was in his early twenties, when he got a letter sent to him by his father, instructing him where he could find his missing sister. which he does and he finds her you know this. you know this

elizabeth gets rejected from ennard, leaving her behind with michael and "ennard" crawling off who eventually forms molten freddy. It goes rogue. Michael is left a rotting corpse and with Elizabeth/baby (no suit pieces so theyre just wires) Michael and Elizabeth/Baby (Abby?) who set off on their goal to find and kill will, the rest of the animatronics, ending their reign

the resturant in this timeline is a mix of simulator's restaurant, and security breaches mall. think security breach, if it was in the classic original style. Cheap, very 80s plasticy feeling, with arcade carpets and checkered walls.

heromari hades/persephone-inspired au bc i needed to write it out somewhere but cant quite prose it rn

details under the cut. just a warning, it gets. long.

basil (god of flowers n growth, "of the golden throne") n aubrey (goddess of war n courage, "the unyielding") live in the forest.

hero (god of healing and music, "love-giver") and kel (god of travel and camaraderie, "of the people") live in the city, amongst the humans.

mari (goddess of knowledge and judgement, "the all-seer") rarely rests, oft roaming from place to place when not at the entrance of the abyss (essentially the equivalent of afterlife) overseeing souls and their fates

within the abyss dwells the twin gods of creation and destruction - sunny and omori (known as "the beginning" or "the end", depending on context). who is who? both are both, both with the ability to create and destroy.

the story starts w mari gone. poof! disappeared! all the other gods (except sunny n omori bc no one actually knows where they dwell and theyre isolated sad sacks) search for her bc fabric of the universe and balance and literally watching the abyss entrance! what are all the souls gonna do w her gone?

("all the other gods" involves a wider cast that i am not coming up with rn.) also. gods living in the same area would know each other better. kel knows almost everyone hence hero knows almost everyone. most (mortal n immortal alike) are mildly wary/scared of mari.

anyway. everyones searching for mari. the abyss is deep and dark and has areas where it sorta... leaks through to the rest of the world (like black space n headspace). hero stumbles upon one of the entrances and falls.

now a very important distinction is that sunny, mari n omori have wings bc u need wings to fly above the dark waters of the abyss w/o being consumed/tainted by it. kel has little winged shoes (like hermes) but otherwise no one else (of the main cast at least) can fly.

so hero falls. at least, until something - someone - dark swoops in and carries him to safety.

"you should be more careful!" a bit of light laughter and a boop on the nose. "the abyss isnt forgiving!"

his savior returns back to the abyss before hero can say anything in return - not a word of thanks, an ask for the others name or anything.

three guesses who this savior is and the first 2 dont count (its a heromari-probably-fic. no duh its mari)

anyway. hero goes back to some god meeting and reports that he found nothing and apparently fell into the abyss. someone mentions that no one has searched the abyss yet and that mari could be there.

no one wants to go to the abyss. for good reason!

so!

guess who gets sent on the abyss-searching mission! kel bc wings, hero bc he fell there, aubrey just in case theres something bad, and basil bc... aubrey said she would fall n demanded someone who could make something to walk on whom she also trusted.

and so the team sets off to the abyss! they enter through the main entrance and its dark and damp and they did not bring a light sourc- nevermind aubrey literally glows with rage and kel literally glows with happiness too

hero gets lost again, first within the upper cavern system. then he falls out of the cave system.

mari catches him again and makes the "are you falling for me" joke

they chat a bit and then mari walks him back to where everyone is freaking out looking for him and then she disappears.

hero tells them about how theres a potential new goddess of the abyss that saved him. no one is impressed bc the abyss is literally the opposite of like. everything the gods stand for. aubrey decides he just doesnt want to admit he got lost. kel thinks he's screwing w them bc what older sibling doesnt screw with their younger sibling?

hero sulks for a bit n they continue searching for mari

then! they find this little... floating.... castle?? but by floating, they mean like. upside down.

"Well!" Kel says. "This is what we brought Basil for!"

"Yeah, flower boy," Aubrey smirks, shooing a protesting Basil towards the edge of the cliff. "Do your thing."

guess what. hero slips and falls.

cue screaming.

mari swoops in and catches him, whispers in his ear "we have got to stop meeting like this"

they do not stop screaming, seeing mari as a threat.

now, hero still does not know that the stranger saving him is mari because hes kinda. smitten. lovestruck. whatever. also bc mari looks different than she used to. perks of being reborn from the waters of the abyssal river ig

aubrey demands to know if mari has been following them. mari says something to the extent of "not intentionally! its hard to not know when you see everything in the realm"

(emphasis on "in the realm" because the abyss is distinctly a different realm from like. the rest of the world. hence mari doesnt know how long shes been gone/the search efforts to find her)

a moment of silence. mari awkwardly goes "uhhh did you think the all-seer was just a nickname? its not. not really."

see all this couldve been solved if hero wasnt a pan disaster and asked mari for her name the first time he fell into the abyss. aubrey points that out, unamused.

basil asks mari if she lives in the castle.

she says its complicated! and that maybe its easier to just show them.

kel tells her that every god's been searching for her and she should come back.

she says its also complicated! all the more they should head to the castle!

to the castle! inside of it is first, a carpet of red hands. next, a throne of red hands. everyone is understandably creeped out, w the exception of mari, who rolls her eyes and scoffs at the dramatics

she knocks on the throne of red hands.

sunny/omori answers the door (?)

anyway it boils down to: the abyss is no place for a god. it sucks out the energy and consumes it, until the god is nothing but a husk. that was exactly what happened to mari, w how often she visited sunny n omori, and how close she stayed to the abyss.

(omori gestures at a skeleton next to them. it bears a disturbing resemblance to mari)

so! twin gods of creation and all, sunny n omori remade mari with the remnants of her spirit/soul/whatever and the waters of the abyss so that she would be able to like. survive there.

anyway. reborn from the waters of the abyssal river, mari looked a little more like a biblically accurate seraphim than what she used to look like. (six wings and six eyes on each wing. plus one eye in her hair. yes thats a thing)

so, sunny n omori check up on mari and they're like. okay! you are probably not in danger of your form collapsing into nothingness anymore. you can go. probably. you need to eat something from the overrealm to be able to remain there tho bc ur more abyss than overrealm.

mari takes thaat in stride. everyone else is horrified.

see. i cannot write romance. this is an issue bc presumably after this, they all go back up to the overrealm - hero gives her a cookie, mari promptly tries to outbake him - and then explain stuff to the other gods.

hero n mari are in love. it is very mutual. they get together. this is vague bc, once again, i cannot write romance

mari asks how hero feels ab marriage. hero likes the idea but also mari is mostly abyss. mari has a solution. the solution is to drink abyss water. hero is a fool in love and accepts.

they live happily ever after. the end.

Soulmate au fic that I really wanna write where Janus is soulmates with everyone(aka DLAMPR) but soulmates stay the same every lifetime but theres a chance to have multiple soulmates and in rare cases you don’t meet them all in that life before you or your soulmates dies.(especially in janus’s case, for reasons i’ll get into shortly) With each life once you hit a certain age(say somewhere between 19-20) and/or meet your soulmate, you gain the memory of every life you’ve had in the past, specifically the life you lived with your soulmate.(also soulmates arent inherently romantic in this world, and i’ll mention that roman and remus are always inherently platonic soulmates to eachother, and are often born as twins to eachother, and if not, are often always the first meet in their group)

Janus is a very special case, and in their world considered almost an anomaly.

All the information gained in the world is supplied from his soulmates, who at the end of each of their current lives always end up together as a group, though it on average happens pretty early on in their lives, minus janus.

Janus is an anomaly because it seems that he’s dying every lifetime time that he meets one of his soulmates, lost to the world 24 hours after hes come into direct physical contact with the first of his soulmates in that lifetime.

(Check the tags for trigger warnings before reading!)

In the first lifetime, he meets Patton(who, in this life, is not called Patton), a young baker who takes his hand with excitement, the barest brush of skin alone triggering not a memory of a past life, but instead a brilliant feeling of connection, a soul-deep aknowledgement that their souls are brand new, and infact are connected to a whole group of souls. Patton is overtaken by a whole new kind of excitement. Janus matches it, and they plan an outting for the very next morning. Janus does not make it to the outting, succumbing to a stab wound just hours after meeting Patton while on his walk home. Patton meets the rest of their soulmates while waiting for Janus to arrive. They hear about his death a week later.

The in second lifetime, he briefly meets Virgil, theyre 16 and 17 respectively. He doesnt learn much, the brief brush of skin while waiting in a croud for a train, enough to distract him into turning around just enough to meet eyes with Virgil, who had been on a train back to meet the rest of their soulmates, an exclamation of relieved surprise on the tip of Janus’s tongue. And then Jan trips, or someone impatiently shoves at him and he loses his footing, niether of them really know for sure. One moment they feel the euphoria of their souls connecting, the next Virgil feels the bond instantly shatter alongside his heart as he watches Janus disappear under the oncoming train. Virgil spends that lifetime traumatized by his sudden death, guilt ridden in knowing their soulmate’s last lifetime’s death had ended in a similar fashion even in mer secs, and his soul takes on a much more cautious nature from then on.

In the third lifetime, he meets Remus, theyre 18. Remus manages to spend a whole hour with Janus before they touch, and it’s only because Janus talks him out of jumping off a bridge. Remus wasn’t being suicidal, just hyper moridly curious, but Janus didn’t know that. Janus strikes up a conversation with him, its snarky and fun and perfect, and Janus joins him on the railing as they talk. Janus derails Remus from jumping by mentioning that he’s never had sushi, and to Remus this is an afront to living. Remus hops back over to the safe side of the railing, declaring to fix that crisis immediately. Janus laughs and agrees, relaxing visibly. The relaxing is a mistake, as for a single second Janus forgets that hes still in a dangerous position. He slips, his hand missing the railing, Remus only just barely managing to catch his hand in time but he doesnt get a good enough grasp, the spark that triggers their soul connection distracting enough that Janus’s hands slip from Remus’s, and Remus is forced to watch in horror as Janus plummets to his doom. He scrambles to fish Janus out of the river, but they cant revive him, Janus died on impact. Remus doesn’t meet the rest of their soulmates for another three years. He never touches sushi again for the rest of that lifetime

In the forth, Roman is 17, Janus is 18, and Janus actually meets Roman multiple times, knowing full well what his life has in store, neither ever knowing. Roman and Janus are actors for the two main characters for an up and coming movie, and they get along super well. Janus has always worn gloves, scarves, long sleeves and jeans, hoodies, beanies. Its a bit taboo at such a young age, but Janus never seems to mind the controversy and never commets on it, and Roman doesn’t mind either. Janus is infact very withdrawn, and often gives very little input on what his true personality is and so Roman doesn’t push it. Later, he really, really wishes he did. Inevitably, they become closer. But it’s only until after the movie is released that Janus lets his walls down just a little. Somehow, he seems to know that Roman is his soulmate long before theyve actually touched. Somehow, for some reason that they just cant seem to fathom, at the end of a large event for the movie, Janus and Roman are being ushered away from eachother and into seperate cars to avoid an influx of fans for some reason or another, Roman doesn’t remember what. All he remembers is Janus taking a glove off his hand and brushing Roman’s cheek after he wished Roman an odd farewell. Not a see you later, just “Farewell, my Prince.” In perfect sync with a very specific line that Janus’s character had said. Roman is in too much shock by the time he’s in his own car, the past three lifetimes of memory flashing through his head taking just long enough to settle into dread as he realizes. He panics, he tries to get someone to listen, and by god do they try, but no one can get into contact with Janus in time. Janus dies in a freak car crash just minutes after they touched, dead on impact. Roman and his soulmates hold onto this movie for the rest of this lifetime, the last physical record left behind by the soulmate that fate just wont let them meet.

In the fifth, he meets Logan, each at age 21, Logan is a nurse in training, and Janus is a cashier, a college student just starting to work towards getting their law degree. By this point Logan has met all of their soulmates, and they all live in a flat together. Really, these days they all sit in wait, they have a plan amongst themselves, about what to do when they meet Janus, a last resort, a trying attempt to keep him alive just long enough to break that 24 hour threshold, to break the spell, to be able to say they did something to try and save him. So its truely a shame that in this lifetime, Janus is bleeding out from a gunshot wound by the time Logan is able to reach him. Its late at night, the police have been called, but it seems Janus was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and finds himself bleeding out on the tile floor. He doesn’t struggle, he doesn’t panic. When Logan approaches, he instead smiles sadly, and reaches his hand out to Logan. On instinct Logan takes it, just before he processes hearing Janus greet him with “Hello, Soulmate.” In vain, Logan tries to staunch the bleeding, but he’s done all he can do, and they know the real paramedics will be 2 minnutes too late. So they sit there, covered in Janus’s blood at 2 am in the middle of a shoddy convenience store, talking quietly about life and how their soulmates love them. There are tears in Logan’s eyes as Janus smiles sadly, knowingly up at Logan. He reaches his hand up and cradles Logans face, and asks Logan to “never forget to smile, okay?” Logan ends up leaving nursing, his mental health unable to take the soul-deep wound that incapacitates him when surrounded by the call of death.

In their sixth life, his soulmates wait, the group meets at age 23, and feel renewed hope as each month passes that they do not experience another traumatic death in their midst. Around age 30, confusion sets in, the hollow itch of meeting their last soulmate is dulled, almost non existant. They’d believe it gone if they didn’t feel it whisper to them late at night where theyre all gathered together. By the time their 60, the whisper seems to fade, and they slowly mourn the loss of the loved one they never got to have. Janus’s soul infact does not make it to the sixth lifetime, but not for lack of trying. His soulmates don’t want to believe it, waiting for his arrival to the very last of their days in this lifetime and never meeting him, they refuse to voice that they mightve lost Janus for good..

Fate has instead taken hold of his feeble soul, the weakest soul in an already unusually huge soulmate group, his soul only half as strong as it should be to balance fate in each lifetime, and so weak that his soul collapses under the amount of soulpower that reaches out to his own when his soul meets the others, and the fates are agitated by the constant unbalance of what should be their greatest and most intricately created group of soulmates yet. So the fates decided to hold onto his soul for a single lifetime, and spends the years mending and healing and strengthening his soul, practically filling in a full half of his soul, and spending years merging it while still carefully balancing his connection with his soulmates perfectly. The trade off is that the tampering and adjusting of his soul fucks with his soulmate memory trigger. He doesn’t forget, no, but his access to his previous lifetime memories is staggered, and so it takes months before he gets back all of his pevious lifetime memories, leaving the inital soulmate connection actually connecting but not immediately supplying his soul with any information of his own first 5 lives, leaving him blank at the start, though knowing that he and his soulmates soul’s are still older than being a brand new soul without memories, and doesn’t actually have a point in his lifetimes when he his an age and his past lifetime memories come to him, he /has/ to meet his soulmates to trigger those memories. The fates are very particular about him, keen on not providing this group with anymore unnessesary trauma.

So, imagine Janus’s genuine confusion, in his sixth life and his soulmate’s seventh life, at age 23 when he approaches a group at a college party on a whim to chat/flatter/flirt with the infamous Remus Sanders, the local social cryptid who always raises more questions than answers when you talk to him and who, Janus has learned, is a highly entertained arsonist-wannabe, and Janus knows that it’s smart to have contacts, because who knows when he’ll be need of someone who’ll commit arson with him? It just happened to be an hour earlier that Remy had spilled soda on his gloves, so he’s braving this interaction without a safety barrier but he’s heard Remus has all his soulmates already, all four of them to be exact, so he doesnt think he has much of a reason to worry. He manages to slide into the conversation easily, and none of Remus’s soulmates seem bothered by his intrusion, especially when he takes the eccentric way that Remus speaks in stride without even a pause, they just seem exasperated when he sneakily brings up the topic of fire.

Then Remus takes him by the shoulders, grinning at him almost crazily, and states “You. I like you” and, it’s obviously instinctive, the graceful way he laughs and puts a hand on Remus’s to agree, but of course the moment skin touches skin, their souls link and everything sparks. And then Remus shutters, and stares, his jaw going slack but his hands seem to grip Janus tighter. And for a moment, Janus finds it terribly, terribly fitting that he’s soulmates with a filterless pyromaniac, but then he remembers that Remus also has soulmates, and then the panic sets in because, assumably, that makes them his soulmates too.

Imagine Janus’s confusion when instead of being met with joy, he suddenly finds himself tucked carefully yet securely into Remus’s arms, being rocked by a man whose suddenly panicked and almost manically whispering “it’s him, hes here, it’s him.” Any move he makes to pull away even a little is met with a sob, Remus is crying, and Janus is so very confused. He tries to coo and comfort Remus, but each of their other soulmates crowd around them, touching his skin one by one, none of them moving away, his skin is burning from touch starvation, its a lot, its to much, its not enough, it burns.

It takes Janus over an hour, after being shuffled into a corner and placed in another soulmate’s lap, Janus thinks his name is Patton, to come back to himself, and finds his soulmates can’t stop touching him. He, too, feels the zing with each touch, the specific innate and undeniable feeling of ‘soulmate, soulmate, soulmate’ but he feels that hes very specifically out of some kind of loop considering all of his soulmates are crying.

When the fates whisper to them, three hours in, with the words “his soul was weak, we have fixed the issue, he is now yours for life to keep, he will safely continue.”

And while Janus requires quite a bit of catch-up, he feels like nows not the best time to ask. He feels more than sees the collective relief that sweeps through his soulmates, he lets them crowd around him further, touching and holding and assuring themselves and eachother that hes real, hes there, he’s staying alive, hes going to be safe. He tries not to say too much, doesn’t want to step on any sore spots, and finds theres tears in his eyes as well. He just lets himself be passed from lap to lap, and somehow or another they manage to all safely arrive at their joined home, pilling up a pillowfort into the livingroom and putting on a movie. Not once does he leave the hold of at least one soulmate, and finds at least two other hands on his person at a time up until he’s sat in the middle of the pillowfort(after he was allowed to get ready alongside the others for bed. He ends up in an oversized nasa hoodie that belongs to Logan) and the others begin to just, talk about life. Its too early to talk about the extreme protectiveness that theyve all treated him with each second, like hes about to dissapear at any moment. The thought makes him shudder, and he tries not to dwell on it.

Turns out, Virgil has the best idea of the night, suddenly and carefully kissing him, which triggers a bit of a domino effect, where Janus goes gently from soulmate to soulmate and trades kisses and hugs until everyone is breathless and giggling wetly with emotion.

And, when he wakes up the next morning, refusing to leave the warmth that is Roman’s chest and whining when Logan, who’d been acting as his other warm big spoon, start pulling away to start the day. And for the first time in this lifetime, Logan startlingly quickly relents and actually returns to their makeshift bed, pressing closer to Janus in an instant to hear his happy, sleepy hum. None of them get up for hours, and when they finally do, they order takeout, and dont stray far from eachother in the coming days.

Its the start of something new, something beautiful.

Something completely and finally whole.

You briefly mentioned a Virgil x Everyone au and I almost want to ask for examples? Because I'm a sucker for multiple soulmate aus

Hmmm well when I made the post I was mostly thinking about a soulmarks kinda situation. I've decided to call this the three hearts soulmate au (and tag it as this) for reasons explained later.

Like for each pair/group of soulmates they have a matching soulmark that's partly in colour and the rest of the colour appears when you meet your soulmate/soulmates. Also most people don't have a solmate so it's pretty rare (and easier for soulmarks to be unique)

So I was initially imagining LAMP, anxceitmus and,,,, viremile? I don't think that last one has a shipname so I'm gonna go with that unless told otherwise. I may change my mind later and add more ships but this is it for now

Soulmark placement probably has some kind of meaning but I'm not gonna overanalyse.

Soulmarks are usually simple shapes made up of like one or two colours per soulmate so it's pretty easy to tell which part is which.

Virgil has three soulmarks (unless I decide to add to this) so he's a part of three like soulmate groups. As the three soulmate groups are connected (they all include Virgil) the three soulmarks all look similar.

I am v basic so I decided that the three soulmarks are all hearts!! (I may change it to something cooler later). This is why I've called this the three hearts soulmate au. They're all on Virgil's upper back (from left to right - anxceitmus, LAMP, viremile).

The anxceitmus one is split into three segments (from left to right green, yellow and purple).

The LAMP one is split into four segments (from left to right (light blue, dark blue, red and purple).

The viremile one is split into. three segments (from left to right (light pink, black and purple).

Though ofc Virgil's born with only the purple ones filled in (with the awareness that he has seven soulmates). His parents probably weren't too pleased and Virgil probably didn't really go around telling people (and it's easy enough to keep his back covered).

Also I've decided that for plot reasons Thomas is gonna be Virgil's older brother in this.

Virgil met Dee (Deceit) in high school. They were about 16/17 and kept it a secret from their classmates (to avoid people making fun of them). Dee's soulmark is on his chest over his heart.

They didn't take too long to get together (and Dee was accepting of Virgil's three soulmark situation) and got an apartment together pretty soon after high school. They didn't stay too close to either sets of parents, but they did stay close to Thomas (Virgil's older brother) who becomes relevant pretty soon.

Now, Patton, Logan and Roman met in college. Patton's soulmark is over his heart, Logan's is on the back of his neck (just below his hair) and Roman's is on his right shoulder.

Obviously Roman and Remus are twins and they've lived next door to Remy since they were very small. They all have known basically their whole lives that they must share at least one soulmate because their soulmarks are basically identical apart from number of segments and colour.

Remy and Emile met in a park when they were six and Remy's impulse reaction was to kiss Emile's cheek and it was VERY adorable ofc. Emile's soulmark is on his left wrist and Remy's is on his right ankle.

Oh also Remus's is on his left shoulder.

ANYWAY back to actual plot.

So theyre all adults. Remy and Emile are together; Roman, Logan and Patton are together; and Remus is currently single. The six of them basically stick together and live really close by to each other because of the whole shared soulmate situation.

One day Thomas ends up in a play thing with Roman and Remus and they become friends.

About a month later he's met all six of them (not knowing that they're his brother's missing soulmates) and is friends with them. One day they're hanging out and the subject of soulmates comes up and Thomas is like 'oh lmao ive never seen any of your soulmarks' and Roman, Remus and Emile end up all rolling up their sleeves at like the same time and Thomas sees the marks and is like "OKAY WAIT"

And yeah everyone freaks out because they have known Thomas for like A WHOLE MONTH and theyre only now realising that he is the older brother to their missing soulmate (plus knows Dee who is Remus's other soulmate)

Thomas ends up calling his brother and telling him about all this

And I'm still kinda unsure about this part but I think Virgil and Dee work at like a haunted house thing (cos it's October because I say so) and Thomas was planning on going there that night so he ends up bringing the six of them and Virgil and Dee's introduction to their missing soulmate(s) is Scaring them cos I think that's funny

Anyway they all fall in love and it's all good and fun and amazing and eventually in maybe like a year or something the eight of them all move in together in like a nice house with three bedrooms and Virgil just switches between them and it's great and EVERYONE LOVES VIRGIL IT'S WHAT HE DESERVES

Okay anon, the first thing you need to know for this is that i got my start at writing from the Percy Jackson fandom. Which means that i read a lot of fanfiction and then was like “…what if i could do this, but the way i want to???”

The second thing is that i adore the hell out of Ethan Nakmura.

Ergo while everyone was out there making OCs that were children of the big three, i was quietly researching the minor gods that are mentioned like once and never again.

Clovis showed up in TLH and its implied he sleeps all day, dreamwalks, and keeps to himself. You know who sounds like he’d like being alone all the time and can casually freak out about whether a dream is a demigod one or just a normal weird dream? Virgil.

Theres a line in like MoA I think where the Seven are going to find Nike, and Percy mentions that the Nike kids are always instigating competitions, which i have never once been able to get out of my head. You know whos just insecure and determined enough to want to continually prove himself to be better even if hes not? Roman.

(And twin? Brother?? To a Nike Kid??? Remus has got to be a son of Victoria. The Roman part of him would absolutely not let him rest until he overtakes the Greeks.)

Ill admit i was gonna make Dee a son of Janus, god of choices, transitions, and new beginings, but the more I thought of hin the more i was like “this has ethan vibes this has ethan vibes THIS HAS ETHAN VI–” so i caved made the poor boy a Greek in Rome. Lies are all about balancing the truth with the fabrication, and he went and played a lawyer in SvS. My hands were tied.

Logan was always a toss up between Athena and Hephaestus. Theyre both insanely smart, but for the plot i needed a roman based Logan and Minvera doesnt have roman children according to SoN. I would have done Bellona, but i couldnt pass up Logan with fire powers literally building himself friends because he doesnt understand other humans. So Vuclan it is.

Do not get me started on Patton. My God. I still dont know who hes the kid of (which is part of the reason why the story hasnt gone anywhere). Iris is an underrated goddess. But then again so is Comus, the god of Merrymaking, and Tyche, the goddess of luck, and Pasithea, goddess of relaxation. All of which have excellent points: they make people like him! Patton likes when people like him! He even likes them when they take advantage of him! The main thing i needed in the plot was for Virgil to see him as someone who was kind to him, but also hopelessly bad at protecting him (whether or not thats actually true), and for him to be a minor influence in Camp Half Blood because he, roman, and Logan embark on a “quest” withoht permission to do so and it needs to be at least a day before anyone notices theyre gone.

Character Thomas is a son of Poseidon because, im sorry, he gives strong Percy Vibes to me. Hes relaxed and casual and clever and he jokes even at the bad times. If the world were ending, id want thomas to be the one leading us to victory. Joan is the bestest of best friends that i could think of, and dont you dare tell me that Grover is not Percy’s best friend. I’ll fight. Also i love the idea of Joan and Thomas meeting in boarding school and immediately becoming ride-or-die best friends, okay. Talyn would probably be an excellent Hecate kid, but i like the idea of them and joan both being able to control plants. Idk why, dont ask. I chose Demeter for them because of the down-to-earth vibes they give off. And if Talyn was gonna kill someone i think they’d use poisons, and what better access to then then being able to grow your own.

This has been, a needlessly long and complex reasoning of my thoughts. Im totally down to hear others thoughts on these too though. Mostly i was bored with the “Virgil is a son if Hades” idea and built off that.

Modern AU where the Dragon Rider gang are at Disneyland Paris

(Yes I’m writing this because I’m at Disneyland Paris)

The first day in the park, just after they’ve gotten off the Eurostar, everyone immediately wants to do different things. In the end, Hiccup decides they’ll tackle the smaller park first since it’s already 3pm.

It’s ultimately decided that it’s NOT a good idea to split up - there are lots of people and Hiccup doesn’t want to lose anyone...especially not the twins, who already look like they want to start mischief.

Most of the gang want to go on the big rides, with Snotlout bragging that he’s not afraid of any of them. However, the minute he’s in place for the Rock’n’Rollercoaster, he starts to panic. Everyone else is whooping and cheering - Snotlout feels slightly sick.

Astrid is a definite thrill seeker and goes on every single ride. She smiles and laughs when Hiccup panics and asks her to hold his hand on some of them, but she does it anyway.

Hiccup and Astrid sit on most of the rides together, as do the twins. Fishlegs isn’t a fan of the big rides so he offers to stay with their stuff and wait - though Hiccup and Astrid make him try some of the less intense ones anyway. He has more fun than he thought he would.

They all invest in Disney hats/headwear, of course. Ruffnut and Tuffnut find the most bizarre, crazy Mickey ears they can find, plus the massive white Mickey and Minnie gloves. Snotlout opts for the Mickey Sorcerer Hat. Fishlegs gets a plain pair of Mickey ears, gushing with excitement. Astrid wears a pair of “unlock the fun” Minnie ears; Hiccup wears a Disneyland Paris baseball cap, not wanting to be extravagant. Astrid rolls her eyes and later convinces him to also buy a pair of Mickey ears so that they match in photos.

They explore the main park on the second day, and theyre all in awe of the castle (though Snotlout pretends he’s not)

They head to Frontierland first, going on the Thunder Mountain ride. They all enjoy it, and the twins spend ten minutes laughing at everyone’s photos afterwards.

Snotlout makes a fuss about being paired with Fishlegs on some of the rides where it’s two per row at first, but secretly he’s glad not to be on his own since he ends up getting dizzy or terrified on some of them.

Hiccup’s metal leg causes some issues with some of the rides because the staff are concerned it counts as a loose article and might fall off. He assures them that it’s securely attached to his leg, rather hurriedly when Astrid looks like she’s going to get mad at the staff.

Much to his chagrin, Hiccup also has to take his leg off every time they go through security to get into the parks; it sets off the metal detectors, so he has to take it off and hop through uneasily. The first time, Astrid tries to help him but the security told her off because only one person can go through it at a time.

They later find out that there’s an entrance for disabled guests, though Hiccup doesn’t like to think of himself as disabled. All of the others repeatedly tell him to just use it so he can avoid being caught out by the metal detector.

The twins are the ones who bring up meet and greets, which Fishlegs agrees with enthusiastically. Hiccup tells everyone that they all pick at least one character - that way, everyone gets to choose what they like/want. Everyone poses with each character.

Tuffnut wants to meet Peter Pan, and everyone is bemused when Tuff and Peter spend five minutes making “cock a doodle doo!” noises together. Ruffnut chooses Chip and Dale for obvious reasons; everyone laughs afterwards, voting which Thorston is Chip and which is Dale. Fishlegs votes to meet Mickey, saying that you can’t beat a classic. Snotlout complains at first that it’s for kids - but then he sees that Darth Vader does a meet and greet, and he gets excited. Astrid chooses to meet Woody and Jessie at their greet, and even though the characters can’t talk, she still beams happily when Jessie gestures to her braid in admiration. Hiccup struggles to choose at first, not sure if there’s actually a character he’d like to meet - he’s just happy that his friends and girlfriend are having the time of their lives. They’re walking to Discoveryland when they see Stitch do impromptu meets - and he goes for it. They all enjoy every meet and greet they go to, even Snotlout.

For some reason, Hiccup finds himself quite taken with Stitch - somehow, he reminds him of his dog Toothless (yes this is a reference to how HTTYD and Lilo + Stitch were created by the same people). Astrid fondly teases him for buying a small Stitch plush later during the holiday, but then kisses his cheek and buys the matching Angel one. (The others tease them both until Astrid glares at them threateningly)

They all end up with toys despite the fact they’re not little kids. Hiccup obviously has his little Stitch to keep him company; Astrid has the matching purple-pink Angel one as well as a tiny version of the Cheshire Cat. Fishlegs geeks out over the Star Wars merchandise, buying himself a plush Yoda. Snotlout buys himself a mini Sorcerer Mickey to match his hat. The twins buy Chip and Dale, of course, and then splash out on other toys; Tuff gets a Mickey, Donald, and an €80 Simba that he can hardly carry, whilst Ruff gets herself a Minnie, Daisy and Little Green Alien from Toy Story.

Astrid manages to talk the whole gang into going on the Hyperspace Mountain ride. By the end of it, nearly all of them are crying. Snotlout has nearly crapped himself, Fishlegs is shaking as he clambers off the ride, the twins are speechless. Hiccup stands, swerves, and has to have Astrid help him off because his legs feel too weak to function. He nearly gags, his stomach turning uncomfortably and his lunch rising back up. Astrid is the only one wanting to do it again.

“Come on, it’s fun, babe!” “Astrid...I love you but I am NOT doing that again! I like my breakfast being inside me, thank you very much!”

In the gift shop after the Star Tours attraction, Hiccup and Fishlegs both geek out over Star Wars merchandise whilst everyone else looks a bit baffled and amused.

The first day in the main park, they don’t realize that there’s a parade and miss it completely. The second day, they end up at the back very far away and unable to see much other than the top of the floats. Finally, Astrid orders everyone to sit their asses on the curb a whole hour before the parade and they wait in the heat for it to start. Most of them are glad just to sit down since there’s been a lot of walking, waiting and standing around. Hiccup accidentally freaks a few kids out when he takes off his leg to massage his sore stump.

They watch the Disney Illuminations on their last night - having learnt from the parade debacle, they have dinner and end up waiting in a good spot for three hours for the show to start. It pays off when they’re all left in awe. Everyone whoops and cheers at the Pirates, Lion King and Star Wars sequences especially, “ooh”ing and “aww” ing at the fireworks and lasers.

As the show draws to a close, Hiccup puts an arm around Astrid, and she lays a head on his shoulder. Neither of them say anything, they just enjoy the moment whilst it lasts.

Leaving the park immediately after the Illuminations, however, is not so fun. Thousands of people trying to rush for buses, pushing and shoving each other...it’s sheer luck that none of them lose each other in the crowds. Someone’s foot accidentally catches Hiccup’s prosthetic and he nearly falls flat on his face, much to his embarrassment.

Snotlout and twins end up with serious sunburn from not wearing sun cream. In the end, Astrid forces them to do it before they leave the hotel each morning.

They all go on the Twilight tower of terror - Astrid, Hiccup and Fishlegs are in the front three seats on the left, Snotlout and the twins on the right three front seats. All of them whoop and scream at the drop, nearly flying out of their seats. Hiccup enjoys it because for a second, as they’re falling, he feels alive and like he actually is flying.

They’re all really sad to leave, and agree that they have to come again at some point in the near future - together, of course, because half of the fun is down to the people you’re with.

Trying to get through customs/security on the way home with a Simba plush as tall as he is causes Tuff a slight problem - it’s too big to fit on the baggage conveyor belt, so they have to scan it with the wands and have him carry it through separately.

Astrid sets off the metal detector at security because she’s been pin collecting/trading, using a Peter Pan lanyard. She has about 20 different pins on her.

Hiccup is so exhausted that he falls asleep on the train, head against the window as he snores softly. Astrid, who is next to him, smiles and simply brushes the hair from his face fondly. He deserves a rest after making sure all of them had the best holiday, she decides - the reason it’s been so successful is mostly down to Hiccup keeping them all organized and planning the day ahead during breakfast. Their holiday could have sucked hard (definitely would have sucked for Astrid) if not for Hiccup keeping the group safe the whole time)

“Acronix" and "krux" isn’t their birth names, Acronix came up with them when they were younger, as super heroes names after discovering their powers. Krux loved the idea and they kept referring each other as these names. Krux forgot what is original name was, but Acronix still remembers them. i’m guessing that they might use them again after getting back into society

They grew us in a country side village with their mother for a big part of their life, didn't socialized much til their mother passed. Krux was always overprotective and nix, not having anything else to compare, thought krux directing him was normal. when joining the EMs when the serpentins wars happened, Nix easily became friend with some of the EMs, unlike krux . tho they really did not got along with wu and garmadon

their elemental power was passed down to them by a Unknown Man whom they never met, as he left before their birth, Kronos :

- kronos was the previous user of the time element, he used it for good, preventing some disaster, saving people’s life, Wu knew him well.

- tho he was young when he married and didn't know how what would happen to his power after having kids. he took his power for granted and overused them even for simple task. to him , having powers was normal and sounded arrogant when speaking with other EMs or people in general

.- during his wife pregnancy, he noticed his powers started fading and freaked out, he went to wu, asking for help and learn the truth about what would happen to his powers after his sons where born. he was never seen again afterward.

when wu met krux and acronix, he knew they were related to kronos , but when asking them about their father , the twins would not reply and looks uncomfortable

- his personality shifted rapidly afterward, without powers he went mad, more aggressive, salty, self centered

Cyrus HC

- Cyrus grew up taking inspiration from DR. julien work to build his own tech, he never really expected to become so popular later in his life and sometime feels overwhelmed by it .

- Cyrus is a billionaire, and donate to charity all the time , ninjago doesn't seems to have any problems beside villains attacking time to time, you can expect rich people of the world to be actually helping RIGHT ?

- Cyrus isnt paralyzed, i imagine him more having weak legs motor control that dont support his body weight enough to let him stand, if he did, he would feel dizzy very fast, (this is heavly based on this HC )

it has some hint in the show, but you dont wanna mess with cyrus, he can be agressive toward people that bother him or his loved ones, he will not hesitate to fight the best way he can !

Pixal HC

- pixal was a project he worked on for YEARS, but she was only fully finished at the beginning of S3

- pixal was built to be gender neutral, until she told her father that she wanted to be seen as feminine , and he loves and support her

- pixal is very polite and usually call people by title, unless she knows them personally, she would never call cyrus by anything else than “father”

- when she first got in contact with people other than her father, she found them fascinating, and specially zane, knowing that he was a nindroïd like her.

- she used to have a crush on zane that for a while, felt mutual, until she got dismantled .. she was glad zane found a way to keep her around but as time passed, the lack of physical body, zane becoming colder with her afterward , and him getting closer to cole after the event of S4. made her loose interest, they were living as one but she missed being herself

- ronin was the one who dismantled her, after he captured zane, pixal tried to defend her friend but got destroyed, ronin used part of her body to repair his own . his left arm being partially made from pixal Original body

- she took inspiration from nya’s samurai X mech to build herself a new body

- in the process she developed feelings for nya. like zane earlier in her life, she felt like it was mutual but she isn’t sure the relation is working out, nya and her are spliting and getting back together every month or so

-she is an hopeless lover and tend to crush on anybody that express kindness to her

Couple other than future in RTO

RTO mainly focus on future, but also : samurai, Glacier, Scruff and A BIT of jaya , in general, the ninjas (minus lloyd) are pretty much all in open relationships with one another and it’s mostly just polyninja but main focus on samurai and glacier

EMs and elemental power in general

- EM lives longer that other people , roughly 120~ years instead of 80 , and that even if they lost their powers

- being an EM can be either genetic or Given .. Powers can be passed down only two ways : a Em can have a kid and during pregnancy, the element will start fading until the baby is born, element will take time to developed in someone’s body , it roughly take 10-15 years for someone to discover their power. however this process inst guaranteed, and some EM’s kid can be born without powers, this is usually the case when only one of the parent is a EM, in case a EM have more kids than powers (eg. twins) the power will either splits up, or one of he kid will be born without powers

- the second option is strong bound, if a EM is dying (or dead) without kids or non of their kids inherited their powers , they can choose a Vessel .. it can be human, creature or any sentient being.

- taking someone’s power away by force CANNOT happen, it’s BULLSHIT.. wu and garmadon simply blocked krux and acronix powers, they are still considered EM and if they wish to, can pass down their powers to someone else , who WILL be able to control it (tho since the power Split up, nix can only pass down slow and forward power) after that, the time blade will lose their powers.

Zane & the ICE EM reincarnation

for his HC i’m going to call the previous ICE EM “simon” i cant remembrer who named the Ice EM simon, if you know it please lemme know ! i love it tbh

-julien and simon knew each other very well, they were Close friends

- simon knew that julien loved making machine and heard about a new project "zane" a robot that could protect people that could protect themselves, julien loved zane like his son . later in his life after the serpentine wars , simon feeling old, wanted to pass down his elemental power to someone before passing away, and thought julien was perfect, after all they knew each other, but he changed his mind and decided to pass it to zane instead. He touched zane heart and after that, he slowly lost his powers till he passed . neither zane nor julien knew about it, but by freezing his heart, it gave him a part of his soul ( 9 STYLE) , a unusual but strong power source to zane, the elemental power of ice and changed his behavior a bit

Morro & Ronin sibbling HC

Morro and Ronin are brothers , morro is the oldest and inherited the wind power, unlike ronin.

ronin loved to provoque people and overall was a little brat. one day with morro, he annoyed a citizen of Stiix, that will later be known as “soularcher” that decided to curse him and his brother

Morro was terrified and fleed, he eventually decided to join wu’s monastery , who adopted him. morro was sure that becoming the green ninja of the prophecy would make him a hero and lift the curse on his soul. he was even more devastated to learn that wu was wrong

on his own ways ronin tried his best to fix his mistake growing up , without much success. falling into robbery, con artist, failed marriage and alcoholism

when morro came back as a ghost, he felt guilty and wanted to fix his mistake but he finally had people like nya and dareth (whom he met at a bar and chatted with him when he was sad) that cared about him and decide to fight for good for once

Ronin had a wife and a daughter a WHILE ago, but lost them . his daughter was roughly the same age as nya and she remind him of her

Nadakhan & Dilara

Dilara and nya are related

Dilara and captain sotto knew each other (family related ;;; OR she was cheating on nadakhan idk but either way she cared about him too ) and she help sotto capture nadakhan and his crew but made a mistake and got killed in the process

Dilara was just there to use nadakhan for his powers but nadakhan wanted her for his infinite wishes so I GUESS THEYre a good pair ???

Okay the CR season(??) finale is getting closer and I feel like now’s a good time to share one of my personal headcanon/AU (ficlet??) thing.

So a lot of people, when they write future baby fics, like to have Kiki (with Vax) or Vex get pregnant and later find out they’re having twins.

Don’t get me wrong I love that but hear me out

Vex and Percy aren’t TRYING to have a kid but they get a little lax with whatever magic birth control they have and boom she’s preggers. They talk about it and decide that they want to keep the kid and start prepping and thinking about how to break the news.

Now over in Zephyra Vax & Kiki have been trying to have a kid. They haven’t told anyone cause they don’t wanna get any hope up till they’re sure. After a month they conceive and take a little time to make sure it sticks, another few weeks grace period just to be sure.

They both send each other a letter at around the same time. Vex is a month or so further along than Keyleth but they each get a letter about the same day saying, essentially, “hey we’re having a baby”

Both couples really want to see each other but have duties that bind them to their towns and so they send letters back and forth and everything is talked over and junk.

Then for some reason a council meeting is called (maybe something to do with those new adventurers 👀👀👀) and all of VM are called to Emon for a lot of political bull while Vex and Kiki are both VERY pregnant (Vex probably already past due and ready to burst and Kiki around the 8 month mark)

Percy tries (once) to convince Vex to stay in whitestone cause of the baby and Vex shushes him and reasons that Pike will be there along with many other healers and clerics so she’ll be perfectly fine and probably a bit better off than in whitestone, he relents cause he knows she really wants to see her family (he does too) and since Kiki is picking them up via transport via plants spell they dont have to worry bout travel time.

Vax tries a little harder to convince Kiki to stay but she argues that travel really isnt an issue cause she can bamf them there and shes confident in her abilities even while pregnant (he is still doe-eyed whenever she does anything that shows how powerful she is).

So they all meet up with the rest of VM and their friends and its a serious thing but also its a bit of a family reunion.

Halfway into their visit theyre in the middle of a meeting and Vex is getting a lil uncomf so she excuses herself for a mo’ thinking the lil bab was gettin restless so she takes a walk around the hall when she feels a wetness between her legs and theres a second of ‘wtf did i just piss myself’ then the split second realization of ‘oh shit the babys more than restless the baby wants OUT’

She then, very calmly and quickly walks back to the council room, walks over to where VM is sitting and says to the room “Excuse me dears but may I borrow my family for a moment.” and some rando ass says something dickish abt women/pregnant woman and their ‘weak constitutions’ or w/e and vex just cuts through his life with a sharp threatening smile and says “Oh I’m perfectly fine staying but I assume it would be a little distracting to see me giving birth right here in front of the whole council.”

The room goes quiet and then theres a burst of energy as the whole of VM starts rushing Vex out and to a cot or sthn where they can help out. They call in a few other healers and they make most of VM wait (wait waitwait) outside or just futher away so they can work an prep an stuff.

Keyleth is feel v stressed right now so she starts pacing a bit and Vax is trying to calm her down but he’s also freaking out a bit. They wait there for a few hours (birthing is hard man) and Vax can’t really handle hearing his sister scream when the contractions come so he invites Kiki on a walk around the gardens.

They walk ‘n talk for a bit when Kiki starts feelin’ the bab moving around so they sit on a bench for a bit and when they stop the get up and start walking but Vax puts and arm around her waist and notices a damp patch but when he looks is less a damp patch and more her entire ass is p soaked then he looks at the bench and sees a wet ass print then he looks at kiki and she looks at him and they both look at her stomach and then he picks her up princess carry and starts runnin back to Vex’s room.

They burst through the doot and everyone stares as a very frazzled vax carrying a very resigned but still kinda panicky looking kiki rush in. He zooms over to a bed near vex and lays kiki down in it and they explain what happened.

They call in a few more healers and luckily Vex was between contractions at the time so she wasnt shouting over everyone. She was, however, sobbing a bit and when asked why she blubbered out “We’re having our babies at the same time and we all get to be here for it, they’re both gonna be born surrounded by so much love.” which then made Vax start crying and soon p much everyone was a little teary eyed (Except for Tary cause he left the room a little while ago cause he was oogied out by all the blood and stuff, when he was told about it later he also cried)

They both go through the night and luckily their contractions didn’t tend to line up too much and eventually they start crowning and the room is filled with the cries of one quarter elf baby and legit minutes later they are echoed by a little half elven baby, a boy and a girl.

After a grueling 16 hours of childbirth the two moms are tired as shit so they hold their babes for a lil bit then promptly conk out. There is a little scare cause Kiki’s babe is a little preemie but Pike is able to stabilize the lil one and assure the parents that she’ll be fine.

Everyone is real exhausted at that point, the moms are passed out in their respective beds. Grog fell asleep sitting against the wall at one point and had eyes drawn over his eyelids. Pike stole one of the beds once she was sure the babs were fine. Scanlan went and found kaylee an gave her a big ole hug and they sat an talked for a bit composing songs for the babes together. allura and kima stopped in at one point to congratulate the families and gave each of them a little enchanted dragon toy (metallic not chromatic ofc). Gilmore popped in and brought a few sets of real cute baby clothes (a little bear onsie for baby deRolo and a little raven onsie for baby of Zephyra (fr srs kiki why dont you have a surname). Kash and Zahra stop in with their own kid whos likely around 10/11 at this point and they bring well wishes and some advice. The new dads end up in big comfy chairs by their wives, each holding their respective baby and cooing half-asleep at them.

When Vex wakes up everyone is asleep or out of the room except vax an the babes.

“I sent Whitey to get some food for all of us, it’s almost lunch time y’know, why is a noble lady like you sleeping in so late.”

Vex aims a half-hearted punch at his arm which he takes and mimics hurt “Ow, my own sister assaulting me on the day of my daughter’s birth, how cruel.” Vex looks over to see her own son lying in a little crib by her and looks back to vax, cradling his daughter in his arms. “What are the odds,” she asks “that we just so happened to have kids on the same day. D’you know what this means brother?” Vax cocks his head at her. “No, what does it mean?”

She grins up at him, “It means they’re twinnies too.”

Solangelo Highschool Au where Will is like basketball team captain and really popular and sun shiny and Nico is that one art student whoes drawings are amazing black and white and red but theyre really dark and creepy and they kinda scare people so a lot of people avoid Nico but then Will gets assigned to write a creative piece from his advanced english class for like a school showcase so he talks (read:bugs) Nico into helping him and their exhibit just wows everyone even if it freaks them out a little.

And if Nico is later seen wearing Wills varsity jacket before a big game? Well, no one comments.

Ch.1

Will Solace has always been well liked by everyone who knows him and he has a way of getting along with pretty much everyone, he’s kind, caring, and athletic, so it went without saying that he was very popular.

Nico di Angelo is the dark and lonely artist type that most people stay clear of because they are a little scared by his dark clothes and quiet personality but most of all his drawings that are always done in red and black ink on stark white paper making the images more dramatic and horrifying.

No one would have ever expected these two to ever have anything in common or to even get along, so imagine the surprise when these two pair up for a class project and get closer than anyone could have guessed.

Senior year had been going pretty well so far, Will was captain of the basketball team, his grades were going well, he had plenty of friends and he thought that he could handle anything that came his way, that was at least until his AP English teacher assigned a project that required partner work and he got paired up with Nico di Angelo, his secret crush. The project was a writing assignment that could include any accompaniment such as artwork, dioramas, video trailers, or dramatic reproductions (read: short plays). Will had some confidence in his writing abilities but he knew that with Nico working with him then they were sure to get an amazing grade if Nico’s artwork was involved.

Will had admired Nico and his artwork for years now, it had all started in freshmen year when Will had been taking a breather after first trying out for the basketball team and had decided to catch his breath over on the bleachers. He had been about to head to the locker room to shower and change before heading home when he thought he heard the sound of music playing faintly somewhere nearby. He stood and looked around and as he got closer to the edge of the bleachers the sound became clearer and when he found the source his heart skipped a beat. Sitting beside and a little behind the bleachers in a small alcove was a boy about his age dressed from head to toe in black with headphones around his neck, the music playing loud enough that Will could hear it from where he stood, the boy seemed too absorbed in what he was working on to notice Will. Will was curious about what he seemed to intent on so he moved closer to get a better look, as he got closer he saw that it was a sketchbook that the boy was holding, and he had his supplies sitting next to him Will noted as he saw a pencil, eraser, and black pen that went with the red one that he was currently using on whatever it was he was working on.

Will loved art and was really interesting what it might be that this boy was drawing with only these two colors so he decided to announce his presence. “Um hey there… what are you working on?” Will felt bad when he saw the boy jump when he heard Will speak to him “Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you like that, I heard your music and saw you drawing something so I was curious.” The boy looked up at him and Will couldn’t believe that he had never noticed this boy before, his eyes looked a little sunken in and had faint dark circles under them like he had lost sleep recently but those same eyes drew Will in even more, they were on the larger side and were so dark he couldn’t tell were iris ended and pupil began, they were like twin pools of shadows that he felt like he could get lost in…

Will snapped himself out of his oddly poetic thoughts when he realized that he was staring and likely making the other uncomfortable as a result. “Sorry I guess I should probably introduce myself or stop bothering you and mind my own business…” he trailed off when he received no response from the other “Sorry I’ll just go and leave you alone now.” He could feel his face burn from his embarrassment as he turned away to head over to the showers like he had planned on doing before.

“It’s okay; you can look at it if you want…” Will stopped dead in his tracks when he heard the other boy speak to him, what really caught his attention was the faint accent that he couldn’t place. Will turned back to see that the boy had set down his pen and was just holding the sketchbook in his lap, he seemed kind of shy though so Will tried his best not to act too excited about getting permission or that the boy had spoken to him so he calmly walked over to where the other sat and took the sketchbook when the boy passed it to him. He looked at the page that it had been open to; he assumed that it was the one that he had just been working on. Will was totally mesmerized by what he saw, the bold outlines, the shark angles, the bright red ink mixed with the black ink and white paper gave the image the illusion of leaving the page. Will was blown away by the level of skill he was seeing and though he wasn’t quite sure what it was that he was looking at exactly he still knew that this was incredible talent.

“Wow you are amazing; I’ve never seen anything so cool. What is this?” he smiled as he looked at the artist sitting in front of him. Apparently this talented artist wasn’t used to receiving such praise because his face turned as red as the ink on the page “A demon…” he said it hesitantly as though he was sure that Will would criticize him for his choice of subject, but Will just looked closer at the drawing and now that he knew what he was supposed to be looking at he was even more blown away by it “Whoa seriously?!” Will smiled even brighter at the boy sitting in front of him, now looking at Will as if he was some kind of strange creature “what?” clearly he was confused by Wills response.

“This is amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this before. It would look so cool in a horror movie or in a video game or something! Do you always draw things like this?” now the other boy was completely speechless and could only nod in answer to Wills question. “Really can I see?” Will was excited to see more of these drawings and the amazing work like this. When the other nodded again Will flipped to another page and saw a drawing of a skull with what seemed to be a single red rose and black thorns encircling the two, again Will couldn’t believe the awesome artistic skill shown on a single page. Will sat down next to the other boy and showed him the page that he was looking at “This is so cool, does it have some sort of meaning behind it?”

But then he remembered being told that an artist’s sketchbook could be the same as a diary or journal and therefore should be treated as such “Oh sorry, I guess that’s probably personal. But really you have so much talent! Oh and by the way my name is Will, nice to meet you.” He held out the sketchbook to hand back to its owner. “Nico.” Well now he had a name to go with the face. But before Will could say anything more the coach blew his whistle and signaled that tryouts were over and that it was time to head home for the day “Well I guess it’s time to go, I’ll see you around Nico.” Will said as he stood up and headed over to head to the showers. He hoped that he’d get the chance to talk with Nico again sometime.

Over the next few years following their first encounter Will and Nico had sat together and talked from time to time, Nico liked to sit in that same spot and draw whenever he found the time, he claimed that it was secluded enough that people other than Will that is, wouldn’t bother him there. It also meant that when Will finished with practice he’d have a bit of time to talk to Nico and see more of his artwork. You might be able to call it a friendship but they didn’t talk much other during these times or spend time together any other time. Will blamed it on the fact that he was always busy with something or always taking to someone and couldn’t get close to Nico, but his heart soared when in his final year he walked into his AP English class and saw that Nico was in his class. He hoped ever since for a chance to spend more time with Nico and get to know him better.

When their teacher announced this writing assignment Will saw it as a gift from above. “And the best story and accompaniment will be displayed in the upcoming school wide showcase so I want all of you to put your best effort into this with that in mind.” Well that was unexpected but Will wasn’t worried, as long as he could convince Nico to draw some illustrations to go with the story that they come up with then they were sure to do well.

The bell rang and the class let out for lunch. Will quickly packed up his things and headed out to meet Nico by his locker, it was close to the gym which Will had learned one day after leaving practice and finding Nico standing at his locker grabbing a pencil case before heading back to where he had left his sketchbook at his usual spot.

Will was glad to see that Nico was still by his locker when he finally made his way over to him “Hey Nico!” Will called cheerfully, causing a few curious passersby turn and look at the two of them, as far as anyone else knew these two were as different as night and day so seeing them talking to one another was an odd sight. Nico turned when he heard Will call out to him “Oh hey Will, is this about the English assignment?” even after four years Will still loved hearing that slight accent when Nico spoke, it had taken some time but Will had eventually learned that it was Italian, though what with Nico’s last name it was no surprize. “Huh? Oh yeah!” Will chided himself for getting distracted again but he always got distracted when talking to Nico.

“So I was thinking that we could come up with the story together and you could add some drawings to go along with it, I’m sure that whatever we come up with your drawings would be incredible!” but Nico didn’t seem as sure about it as Will did. “You’re the only one who would think that Will.” Nico said as he grabbed his bag from his locker, it was only lunch but Nico looked like he was getting ready to leave school for the day. “But it’s the truth, your art is so amazing I’m sure it could really help bring our story to life better than anything else could.” Will tried his best to sound convincing.

Nico still didn’t seem willing to go along with it though “I don’t know Will, but could we talk about this some other time? I have somewhere to go this afternoon so I won’t be here after lunch, good luck in your game later.” Will was a bit surprized by that last part but then again Nico’s favorite spot was in the gym so it should come as no surprize that he knew that Will had a game today after school… “Huh? Oh right thanks.” But before Nico could walk away an idea came to Will and he pulled out a pen and reached out for Nico’s hand stopping him as he was about to leave and Will wrote his cell number on Nico’s arm “There, this way you can text me later after you’ve had some time to think things over, no rush though. Just brainstorm some ideas for our story if you want.” he gave Nico a bright cheerful smile before turning and heading to his own locker.
