i’m the anon from the og post (about zelda pregnancy theory), it’s even worse than her being the next holy virgin, they were implying link was involved if you know what i mean. they are literal 17 year olds wtf are people thinking
ive seen a lot of people say that a shadow focused movie would have to be rated pg 13 and theres no way of making it appropriate for a kid audience. and idk i have to disagree. yeah the story is probably gonna involve darker subject matter than the first two if it takes a lot of stuff from the games but i think whether or not its pg or pg 13 depends on how much is shown. there have been a few different portrayals of maria's death over the years but none of them are particularly graphic and what happened to her is mostly just implied rather than outright shown in detail. i think they could easily just have a shot of a soldier holding up a gun then cut to shadow as the gunshot sound plays and then cut to maria who is visibly injured but with little to no blood showing and get away with a pg rating. not saying a pg 13 rating is impossible but i dont think its an inevitable thing that has to happen in order to portray shadow's story correctly either
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is such an experience. It’s like “hey, do what to a play an action platformer that’s bright and colorful like Jak & Daxter, but less of that style of humor and more somber in tone? And get helped by little Pikmin-like friends?”
But the difficulty is more Jak II, to the point that people say it’s more difficult and unfair than a Soulsborne game. That is, until you figure out the trick to cheesing your through the boss fights. And then you say “this is easy” and play the new game plus on master difficulty and get your teeth kicked in by regular enemies.
Oh and the mid game is helping a woman reunite with her girlfriend. So there’s that too.
Was not expecting world of final fantasy to get Dark on me considering the E10 rating but I probably should've seen it coming as soon as I noticed the kingdom hearts similarities lmao

Video game ratings boards tend to frown on depictions of harm to children, particularly very young children; basically, if you explode a baby, you’re probably not going to get that E10 rating.
However, a number of published games have managed to explode babies without suffering a ratings bump by making it a giant baby – more specifically, a giant baby boss fight.
This suggests that once a baby is large enough, it no longer counts as a baby, at least not for ratings purposes. Are there specific rules governing this? Do they have to measure the baby? Or are giant babies, like pornography, an I’ll-know-it-when-I-see-it proposition?
The Yuri Shipping Olympics (@yuriolympics) is a 16+ event where f/f creators of all stripes get together to fight the shortage of f/f media, in fandom and beyond. This year, I’m leading Team E-Rated Games (though in practice we might have some ships from E10 or T rated games, thanks Smash Bros). If that seems up your alley, why not come in and join us? We would be happy to have you here. Most people involved in creating are writers and artists, but anything from edits to videos to even cosplays would be great!
And if you’re not into it, but you still want to participate, not to worry! You can join another team (lots of different options right now), you could sign on to lead your own team, or you could even come in to be a voting member!
Discord link is right here, and have a yuriful day!
akihiro hino is such a crazy mfer dude im kind of obsessed with him. narrowly saves his company from bankruptcy by announcing a series of (allegedly) E10+ rated bangers coming out in the next two years, and then out of nowhere just umprompted decides to hit some poor unprepared gaming journalist who just wanted to talk about fantasy life with "yah im thinking of doing some some super fucked up shit in my games. im thinking of slapping my weird guy meat on the table and just going ham on some crazy slutty gore shit. but like i wouldnt do it now, with the games we're working on right now. maybe. i mean i'll think about it. i can get away with shit did you see what i did with unwound future. but i mean probably not right now though. but i cant contain my weird guy hog for much longer. lol."
So I'm playing on the laptop, and it's the Christmas event yeah?
I give maru her gift because Im her secret Santa y'know, and then Harvey walks up
I'm already annoyed I don't wanna talk to him.
Then he gives me the fucking tea set. I'm fucking flabbergasted, Im horrified, Im angry and sad at the same time
Now I feel bad because I don't deserve the tea set because of how passive aggressive I've been for a long time because of him
And I'm angry and I feel attacked. Idk how Im supposed to respond to this man.. how are you supposed to respond?! I can't say thank you it would make me feel superficial and it would make me look bad, I can't continue to be mean it would make me look like an asshole and make me the bad guy.
I haven't said a single word to Harvey since, I don't wanna talk to him, I can't say anything I can only feel awkward and stressed knowing he did that whilst I was being a jerk!
This game is rated E10+ why am I having a mental health crisis over this?? This game knows! it can't be a coincidence that this happened it's too unlikely for Harvey to have given me this fucking tea set out of nowhere especially considering I'm not a fan of him Irl.
I'm replaying a game I haven't touched since I was eight and I'm a little shocked to find out that Daxter was Just Always Like That, even in the E10-rated game.
