Quick question . For anyone who has a sideblog (or an ask blog) is it worth doing the "new blog" option thats linked to you main or is it better just to make an entirely new account

Hi!

I'd like to think so, yes! Anyone can read my fics, and if there's something I could do to make the reader inserts more inclusive, I'm really open to hearing it.

I leave most details about the reader's appearance completely open and undescribed. This extends to gender or pronouns etc. That way most ppl can put themselves in reader's position without feeling pulled away from it. What I do mention sometimes is that the reader has hair (ex: 'he pet your hair'), or things relating to height, but I try not to even say those things. What is also difficult to get around is that the way I write things also imply a (relatively) able-bodied reader who can walk and stand and so on.

Still, I'd like to think that I write for anyone. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of race, gender, size or appearance. The slashers love you so much. They love you for who you are, body, mind, personality - all of you.

All my fics are written with a Not Skinny reader in mind, even if it's not explicitly stated. I find it awkward to put much emphasis on body size or appearance in my writing, because I never am that aware of my own body either and I'd rather just be subtle about it.

However, I am my own main audience when I write. More and more of my writing is leaning into self-insert-type stories or has OCs. That's why you'll see short lines about acne scars, love handles, 'roundness of my belly' and so on thrown in - although I've only recently gathered enough courage to leave those lines in in the final version.

When it comes to requests, those phrased as 'slasher with an x descriptor s/o' are not really interesting to me. He loves you for who you are. And you know the specific details of what makes you who you are the best and will therefore be able to best discern what makes you feel loved and seen. I think appearance truly does not matter. What interests me more are scenario's like being Baby's best friend, or a slasher is jealous or what an ideal date night would be - stuff like that.

I hope this entirely too long story answered your question and showed what I keep in mind when writing when it comes to the reader-character. I hope this all made sense, English is not my native language and when it comes to matters like this, I feel very ill-equipped to put my thoughts into words. Thank you for understanding and showing an interesting in my writing 🥰

Playing minecraft and just remembered an idea I had ages ago with youtuber!Ryujin and streamer!Yeji. I even made lil fake screenshots with html mostly of Ryujin's youtube stuff cause it's easier to play around with youtube than twitch pff

I think rn if I were to write this instead of them being exes it'd be like Yeji is Ryujin's manager and also does some twitch streaming as superwolfcat on the side with no face cam and uses a voice mod. Ryujin's a pretty popular youtuber who got big making comedy skits and branched out to tones of other stuff. So Yeji has a crush on Ryujin but obviously can't say anything and Ryujin has a crush on superwolfcat cause they collabed one time by mistake and she's been trying to get her back onto the channel.

I like the idea of everyone knowing that Yeji's superwolfcat cause it's kinda obvious outside the voice mod she literally talks the same but Ryujin's unfortunately too gay to realize it. Also Jisu trying to expose Yeji every second she gets, Yuna also being a huge fan of superwolfcat and getting free merch from Yeji to keep her secret and Chaer just tryna keep the It'z gamez channel monetised cause every time she collabs with Ryujin she loses another sponsor

This means their albums are either done or almost done so I don’t think it’ll take 2 to 3 years to make them…ugh I just don’t know, I’m actually glad we’ll be getting all this content but I wish bts and army together would know more or less what the time line is…1 year? 3? 10?

Honestly though, as someone who's a content creator, it's extremely hard to pinpoint when you'll be finished with a project that means a lot to you. whenever someone asks me about updates or when I'll release something, maybe when i first started out i could give definitive dates and timelines, but now that i'm in my second year of writing on tumblr, the burnout has been substantial. i can't predict at all when i'll release something because i now need more extensive breaks or time on my own to recharge and pump out quality work. even when i do, i feel like anything i write just isn't that great either.

we can compare this to how the boys feel. giving us a timeline, in a sense, builds expectations in us they may disappoint and also pressures them in the end, so i think being without a timeline right now is healthier for everyone. i myself despise timelines especially with creative work because it's hard to adhere to them. yes i understand what the boys do is their legitimate work, but making creative content is strenuous and they need time to express themselves creatively and musically!!

#i never talk about this but writing in general has become very strenuous to me #i still love writing and have so many ideas that i want to share #but now when i sit down on my laptop and acc type #i find myself feel exhuasted more easily and creatively find myself lacking #and i start to hate anything i write #or i think too much about its quality and psyche myself out #or i think that im not being original/unique enough and try really hard to be creative #but thats the thing #you can't force yourself to create anything #creativity is spontaneous and comes with rest and time off #so i understand the boys being without a timeline #we should let them work out things how they choose until they're ready!#anon #sammy's inbox #sammy files
