i dont know why they were so easy to turn into warrior cats. truly it should not have been this easy. and yet... i already have an entire fucking plotline in my brain, ugh

blame this line: “Have you been running around with OTHER MENTORS?!” (vid linked)

yep! it’s Lego Monkie Kid but as Warrior Cats! i feel like their warrior names are pretty self explanatory lmao (Monkey King + Sun Wukong; shadow monkey + Six-Eared Macaque). but wait, you scream, MKpaw???? thats not a warrior name!!!

simpletons. in this AU, the legendary clans are distant history, long forgotten tales told to kits. so then why do they have warrior names? because Wukong (Monkeysun) and Macaque (Shadowear) were both born into the clans, and remain one of the few survivors of it. MK is a kittypet (or stray cat) who is enraptured by the tales of clancats that his friend-slash-father-figure Tang tells him. said stories involve a certain “long-tailed cat” named Monkeysun, the warrior who “stole the stars” and “lived forever.”

yep! Monkeysun stole the stars. Literally. Because in LMK everything is literal. Well, literal-ish. By stars, I mean the powers of StarClan granting lives. That’s how Monkeysun gained immortality in this AU - instead of stealing peaches, wine, and pills, he broke the Moonpool and granted himself a million lives. of course, this meant leaders could no longer gain their nine lives, and, understandably, many cats were upset, so of course, using what power they had left, the leader of StarClan (the Jade Emperor) buried Monkeypaw (he was an apprentice at the time) underneath the earth, in the tunnels, where he would roam and starve forever until all of his lives were gone.

course, that didnt happen, and Monkeypaw was freed to journey alongside the monk Tripitaki, who would be like a guardian cat or Sisters equivalent I suppose, and he and the other gang would partake in a journey to the west/sundrown place to find Buddha (a Rock or Midnight equivalent figure). why do the take the journey in this AU? honestly idk lmao.

anyway! what about Shadowear?? well, Monkeysun (who earns that name from Tripitaki) kills him when Shadowear attempts to kill Tripitaki, but! Even tho the power of the stars are gone, the Dark Forest still lurks, and the Lady Bone Demon (prob called Bonestar, formerly Bonelily or smthn) uses her powers to give Shadowear a life, resurrecting him, so long as he follows her rules...

similarly, the Mayor is able to possess cats like Ashfur, and wants to grant the power to his Lady but he needs to free her first, which is Shadowear’s purpose (it’ll have something to do with the Moonpool probably)

so flash forward to the present and MK finds Monkeysun’s stick (bcus of COURSE its a stick in this au lmao) and becomes his apprentice, training in the way of the warriors. Mei, ofc, joins him, and Pigsy is against it, while Tang is in awe. And Sandy’s supportive but wary with his own dark history (coughgangcatcoughBloodClancough). also yep Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy are still reincarnations, and Mei has the “dragon” ancestry still (the Samadhi fire stuff i dont have figured out yet, though it might be some magic Moonpool stuff instead maybe - oh also Nezha is the guardian of the Moonpool now, and maybe Chang’e is the guardian of the Moonstone? and DBK lives in the mountains and therefore guards the Tribe’s magic cave thing?)

also here’s some warrior names that wouldnt technically be canon to this au:

Pigsy -> Pigflower (why flower? because he cooks, and flowers are like herbs)

Pigsy’s first life/Zhu Bajie -> Boarbelly (bcus he eats people)

Sandy -> Bluesand (do i need to explain this one? not sure what JTTW Sandy/Sha Wujing’s name would be tho)

Tang -> Goldenshine or Brightshine or similar (once again not sure what his OG/Tripitaki’s name would be - maybe Goldensun to parallel Monkeysun?)

Mei -> Dragonblaze (”but Dragon isn’t-” FINE, Lizardblaze)

Ao Lie/White Horse Dragon -> ...Whitehorse? or Whiteflash

Demon Bull King -> Bullfang

i don't know why but while writing this i pictured the saltburn costume kind of party (just the aesthetic)

it all started like a month ago, in the halloween party.

"is this okay?" she asks, her hands caressing slightly your breasts over the fabric

you chuckle, embarrassed "yes" you see how ellie's face is covered in a blue and violet light "you can take my band if you want"

"sure" she murmurs, her hands grabbing the "prom queen" band and throwing it off to the floor.

the cold tiles of the wall meet your back, the sudden change of temperature making you shiver. handmade costumes dance on the dance floor, fake blood and poor imitations are present in the night.

upstairs, in a tiny and so-well-decorated bathroom you can hear your own breath get heavier as you feel ellie's fingertips play with your covered breast. she leaves wet kisses in your neck, shy but hungry.

ellie can't decide which was the moment when she realized that something was about to happen. later in the week she would think, ¿was when she catch you looking at her lips? ¿or when you "accidentally" touched her ass while dancing to ABBA? and she would think and think so much that her brain will start deteriorating.

but what she knows now is that she is having the time of her life.

"you have such nice tits" ellie's mouth says before she could stop herself

you laugh, a fake spider web in the wall tickling your face "thanks"

ellie nods and lick your neck, her tongue tasting your salty and perfumed skin. you whimper as she continues assaulting your skin, sucking and kissing and sucking again.

your eyes catch your reflection in the mirror, a very stylish spiderman suit and a bloody carrie making out in the tiniest bathroom of all times.

"i think i gave you a hickey" ellie says, a thread of saliva dangling as she moves away, her lips shiny "i can't really see with these lights"

"i'm glad you're so committed to your spider costume that you have to bite me" you joke and she rolls her eyes

"i'm spiderman, not a simple spider you idiot"

you roll your eyes at her. it pass a few seconds until you talk again "do you think it will be weird if i kiss you?"

"don't think so" she says, placing the hair behind her ear "no weirder than giving you a hickey"

"yeah but isn't kissing more intimate?"

"only if you make it more intimate" ellie says as she fix your plastic crown "a lot of friends kiss eachothers"

"yeah?"

she nods

"it's just a kiss" she replies "it doesn't have to mean anything"

you nod "right" you lick your own lips "we can be that type of friends"

"yeah, totally" ellie swallows "we can"

so you kiss her. and it's feels warm and wet.

ellie grabs you by the jaw quickly, taking the power. her grip is strong and the moment you moan in her mouth you want to punch yourself in the face.

"you were dying for me to kiss you huh?" she teases you, her breath hits your wet lips as she speaks

you could feel her confident starting to grow "in your dreams"

"i do other things to you in my dreams"

before you could react, ellie's lips are over yours again. your agitated breath echo in between hungry kisses, floating around the curious hands and hot skin.

but when ellie's hands are in the hem of your shirt, you hear a loud knock on the door.

"i"ll be out in a minute" you shout and push ellie away. she lean back against the sink, agitated.

"she's about to throw up!" a girl yells from the other side of the door "open up now!"

you grimace at ellie and she opens the door.

a plastic feathered angel and a playboy bunny quickly interrupt in the bathroom at the same time as the bunny vomits an almost neon green liquid over the toilet.

"let it all out" the angel says to the bunny "i told you you shouldn't accept tyler's drink from fight club"

ellie raises her eyebrows as she admires the scene, you notice how her lips are swollen and her hair is messy.

"are you going to stand there and watch?" the angel says as she holds the bunny's hair "it's not a fucking show"

"jesus" you say

"uh, sorry" ellie mumbles, awkward "goodbye"

the angel's words of encouragement to her bunny-friend become meaningless once you and ellie leave the bathroom. the loud music hits you one more time as you come back to the dance floor where sweaty bodies glow under the neon lights.

Amount of sleep: Currently in a 'broken sleep' era, nap for a couple of hours get up then nap again and I'm not happy about it. I love me a 8-10 hours of solid sleep but function well on 4-6.

Dream job: Rehabilitation/probation work or investigative journalism. I haven't decided.

Favorite song: This is always changing so my current 'on repeat' is Doja Cat - Paint The Town Red.

Movie/Book that Summarises Me: oo-er I don't know, but I do know that I fell in love with reading because of Terry Pratchett's The Wee Free Men was I was 7 and I adore his works. And film wise I was raised by Legend (1985), Labyrinth, and The Fifth Element sooo...I'm a fantasy girlie.

Favorite instrument: Electric guitar!!! Tickles my brain in all the right ways I love it.

Aesthetic: I would love to have the bravery to dress Whimsy Goth because that is what my heart wants but instead I dress like a teenage boy in cargo trackies and hoodies or leggings and a baggy tee, unless I'm going somewhere fancy.

Favorite authors: Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Tess Gerritsen.

Random fun fact: I love ceramic work and want to own a kiln and potters wheel one day, it was my favourite part about doing art & design in college.

Ok ok hear me out- Hobie with a gn!reader that's trying to get into the punk scene but it's difficult because their parents are quite conservative?

I did end up making it so that the reader is just starting to be interested in the punk aesthetic which is leading into the lifestyle but it's not fully explored so I hope you still enjoy it regardless!

The leather hung heavily over your shoulders; the jacket enveloping your form in a sweet warmth. You twisted in every direction and tried to ignore the distaste in your reflection’s expression as you considered how it looked.

With a sigh, you shrugged it off and cast it back over to the chair with a small curse. It never suited you, no matter which outfit you tried it with.

And worse, it’d started losing the comforting scent of your boyfriend.

You pulled off the few pieces of jewelry chosen for your late-night fashion attempt. They’d done nothing to help you feel more comfortable in the look you’d tried.

“What’s with the hate for my jacket? It’s hardly done anything to you.”

You jumped and hit your knee on the desk. The stinging pain didn’t fade as you twisted around to find him lounging across your bed, long limbs draped over his guitar as he watched you.

“Hobie? When did you get here?”

He put the guitar aside and stood, picked up the jacket from where it’d fallen on the chair and brushed it off. “Got ‘ere not to long ago,” he said. “Just didn’t want to interrupt.” He stepped behind you and draped the jacket over your shoulders, palms trailing down your arms to wrap around your waist and pull you into him.

“Interrupt what?” you laughed. “I was just messing around. I steal your clothes all the time.”

Having him so close relaxed any doubts you’d had. You closed your eyes and leaned into him, adored the way he cradled you.

He hummed in agreement. “It suits you.”

“Maybe.”

It was hard to force your brain to agree with him. You desperately wanted it to be true and for so long, you’d been stealing little pieces of his style. Maybe one day, you could unwrite the part of your brain that struggled to accept it.

He picked up the choker you’d been packing away, turned it around in his fingers. “I grabbed this one for you, didn’t I?”

“I wouldn’t have the guts to buy it for myself,” you admitted.

He huffed, breath tickling your ear as he did so. “What makes you think I bought it?”

You laughed a little. You should have known better indeed. In the very early days of your relationship, Hobie warned you that he wasn’t a fan of attachments. He didn’t do gifts or labels or anything like that.

The first time he showed up with small items, you’d been surprised with how quickly he went back on his claims. But he’d never liked consistency much either.

“You always put this stuff on late at night when nobody can see it. It’s a downright shame.”

“It doesn’t suit me.”

“Nonsense.”

“It doesn’t though,” you argued though you couldn’t help but relax into the warmth wrapped around your back. “It’s probably because I’m not used to seeing myself in that way. I wasn’t really raised to think it’s the best style ever.”

“Doesn’t matter if it looks good or not anyway,” he said. “That’s not the point of it. ‘sides, I know you like it on me.”

You laughed. “Hobie, you’ve been a model before. I think anything looks good on you.”

You twisted a little, hoping to get a look at his face though he seemed insistent on keeping his chin resting on the top of your head.

“So? Doesn’t change that if you like how I look with it, you’ll wear it even better.”

You looked down at the jacket wrapped around your body. The leather and chains, the spikes on your shoulders and the patches at random points. Everything about the aesthetic spoke to you but still…

“My parents would kill me if they saw me wearing this,” you teased.

“Who cares what they think?”

You sighed. “I know I shouldn’t but I can hear their voices in my head so often.”

He moved away from you by a small step and brought the choker up to attach it around your neck. You tilted your jaw up to help him. His fingers brushed across sensitive skin, sent small sparks of heat pooling into your stomach as he attached the tiny chain.

He met your eyes and smirked. Your heart fluttered a little and you reached up to touch the choker.

“Looks amazing,” he said and ran his thumb over the point of the spike. “Suits the jacket too. We’ll find you a pair of boots while we’re out.”

“Out?” you repeated.

He shrugged. “We have to make sure you fit in with the scene tonight.”

You frowned at him, finally turning around fully so you could face him. It really wasn’t fair for him to look so attractive when you were trying to focus. “Go out? It’s almost one in the morning.”

He shoved his hands in his vest. “Time is a construct. Who says we can’t go and find something fun to do now?”

“Where would we even go?”

“It’s a surprise,” he said. “But there’s a dress code.”

“Doesn’t sound like your kind of place.”

“Sometimes I can make a sacrifice or two.”

His eyes always burned with a fierce flame behind them, filled you with confidence even when you found yourself lacking in it. He’d always have your back even if you worried too much about what others might think.

“I don’t really have anything that suits this jacket.”

“You don’t need to. Wear whatever you want.”

You wished it was as easy as he made it out to be. Sometimes you thought you could entirely stop caring but it wasn’t as straightforward as you’d hoped.

He caught you off guard with a quick kiss to snap you from your concerns. “You’re going to look stunning in whatever you wear. Who cares what anybody else is thinking if that’s the truth.”

You couldn’t stop the smile on your face at that. “You’re far too sweet, you know that, right?”

He chuckled. “Don’t think many people would agree with you on that one. Just the opposite really but let’s get you ready. We’re going to find somewhere fun tonight.”

So it is time to go to the carousel!

But after some time, it's not fun to ride alone

Well he thought everything ended until seeing you at Run of Mill Pizza

But after some time he will gradually get used to it. (But still, you can notice he is jumping a little. When you tease him about it, he'll say you made it up and quickly move on to a different topic)
