i rly wasnt sure what to expect going into dunmeshi but i do appreciate the imperfections. senshi doesn't know how to perfectly cook everything, and the group offers their thoughts, but nobody gets angry or anything. even with the other characters and their strange quirks and such. idk it's just nice to see an animanga that doesn't see not being perfect as something you have to train off and get rid of IMMEDIATELY, but takes them in stride instead. maybe i just need to sleep tho

Sometimes I read something so beautifully written that I think, “How could anything I write ever compare?” But isn’t that the point? It’s not about comparisons or being better. It’s about being who you are as a writer. If anything, it inspires me when I find authors in my fandom who I can’t get enough of. Because yeah, I love to share my work. I love the comments and encouragement. But I also love the experience of being completely immersed in someone else’s story. It’s a feeling I can’t even explain.

Please ignore this rant:
The idea that Hufflepuffs can’t be dark is insane to me because you have people who are unwaveringly loyal and who believe life should be fair and you don’t think a single one of them is going to go too far to seek justice for someone they care about when the system inevitably fails? They’re patient, hard working, and they stay under the radar. They’ll do the wrong thing for, at least in their minds, the right reasons.

The fucking uh. Moments Hirano remembers that oh. Kagi loves him. Like. Loves him. Romantically and all. He doesn’t remember it often nor does he put much thought into it. But like. In moments like that ten second touch when Kagi takes both his hands and bows I have to wonder if Hirano thinks oh. This is something deeper than I understand right now. But he is trying to understand. He wants to understand. Love is a conscious effort and I think Hirano wants to love Kagi. Above all Hirano wants to make Kagi happy and if he has to love him to do that then he will and is that not already love. Is that not already love.

the way severance creates the circumstances of a fucked up parenthood…mark wants his innie to be happy. he can’t be happy, but maybe this new self (that’s him and not him, a creation born from his DNA) can be happy. “tell them you view your innie as a sister,” not quite not quite because helena eagan tells helly r she’s not a person—something something how narcissistic parents view their children as an object to be controlled. she tells helly she will make her life horrible if she does not stop rebelling against her. the way dylan stops enjoying the perks when he finds out about his own son—he is not lumen’s thing to shape, he is someone’s dad. (love love love this plot being given to a dad instead of a mom btw.) irving stops loving lumen when he realizes they can’t give them what he needs; love opens up the whole wide world for him, and he wants it. (it’s a classic coming of age story!)
then there’s how the non-severed lumen employees treat the innies like children. again, the perks and training systems. lumen created severance because they cannot clone a perfect baby to raise in the cult, this is the next best thing. or maybe they are raising babies in the cult, maybe this is another experiment.
or…what if they think they’re truly doing something good. adult life is too hard. let someone else handle all you cannot—yourself who’s not yourself. don’t worry, we’ll take care of them. we’ll make sure they’re treated well. we’ll discipline them if they’re out of line. they’ll have rewards for positive behavior. good intentions are scarier than lumen being nebulously evil bc abuse can happen with smiles, silence, and egg buffets. a system built from good intentions also allows the most evil people to play along until they have absolute control over vulnerable people. (parents send their kids to school and promise to do right by them. we know, now, that many schools fail that promise.)
harmony cobel’s attachment to mark also makes sense with this context. he has what she doesn’t: freedom from all-encompassing grief, eight hours a day. but she feels responsible for him. he’s her project. he’s the fruits of her devotion to lumen and the eagans. she’ll destroy his self esteem with a snap of her fingers. she’ll bend his innie until he snaps into shape. cycles and cycles and cycles. she’ll break the rules so he isn’t fired, getting herself fired in the process. when mark says he wants to quit lumen, she cries, hugs him, and says “good.”

Kaeya Headcanons and Crack theories that might be borderline AUs
The Abyss Order are only prevalent in Mondstadt and not anywhere else and it's usually just Hilichurls and Abyss Mages that the knights (and Diluc) deals with. But little did they know that these factions are the low ranking ones and Kaeya actually deals with the much more dangerous part of the Abyss Order behind the scenes.
Kaeya's curse is sealed within a gem. At first, Kaeya's father wanted to relieve Kaeya of the curse because he's just a child during these times and he dosen't want his son to suffer, the curse cannot be broken so he thought of a way to transfer the curse inside a gem. During the process, Kaeya's father saw this as an opportunity for Kaeya to spy on Mondstadt. After all, Kaeya is already an adult trapped inside a body of a child.
Varka knows about Kaeya's secret. He's one of the first people Kaeya talked to after his fight with Diluc. Kaeya actually contemplated of leaving the knights and leaving city altogether because he dosen't want to bring harm to Mondstadt. He told Varka about his secret expecting Varka to be angry and throw him out of Mondstadt but Varka just smiled and laughed calling Kaeya a lousy spy for revealing his secret to two people in the same day. Varka vowed to protect his secret and accepted him despite all his secrets and lies.
Kaeya's title as Quartermaster is never truly official as this title to given to him by the other knights. After Varka left on his expedition, Jean became the Acting GrandMaster and Kaeya acts like her right-hand man, this became apparent to the other knights that they gave him the title of Quartermaster, the Pirate Captain's right-hand man. Kaeya loved it.
Teyvatan is actually Khaenri'ah's second language as there are people who are from the land of the Gods who decided to stay in Khaenri'ah. Kaeya is fluent in both but sometimes he would mix up his words and unconsciously speak in Khaenri'ahn. It freaks people out, Huffman almost had a heartattack because of it. (#BilingualStruggles)

Snippet in my head, will I ever write it fully? Who knows. I have so many things started already so have this slight concept snippet:
He could smell blood. Fear.
For the amount of pain he'd seen Zemo happily endure, smelling his fear was alarming - the man had a death wish, and had as long as Bucky had known him.
The stockade was more effective on him than Bucky wanted to admit, struggling in place as he tried to find Zemo within his limited scope, before sounds to his left resulted in the Baron being dumped in front of him in a graceless heap. He was broken - bones jutted out in places they shouldn't, and the deep purple colours that looked so good on his clothes were instead painted on the inside of Zemo's skin. Internal bleeding.
Fuck.
"Well, this has been fun. But he's about fulfilled his purpose, hasn't he?"
The man sounded altogether too pleased with himself. A super soldier. A target. The man's hand rustled Bucky's hair, met with a snarl as Bucky jerked again, feeling the stockade jerk but not release.
"Even if you get out soon, you're not getting him to a hospital in time. Not from here." The man stood, pacing slightly in his spot, before giving a twisted little smile at Zemo's groan of pain. "Ah, I know."
A familiar blue vial was placed in front of Bucky's face. "Since I broke your toy, perhaps this will help. Choice is yours."
The door clicked shut, and the moment it did the stockade released Bucky, leaving him to jump to his feet, quickly reaching out to his ally with some uncertainty.
"J..."
"Don't. Just... Stay still, Zemo. You'll be fine."
He grabbed the vial in one hand, taking a few deep breaths and ignoring the way Zemo's eyes settled on him, out of focus.
"D-don't--"
"You can be pissed with me later. When you're alive."

I want two boyfriends. Im not going to hold off on this no longer. I'll make it work and it will be a sensual experience for all three of us. Making sure my lovers get their needs met is something I am capable of committing too.
Im not hiding this or being ashamed of it either, I want them to feel safe because polyandry is seen as shameful and 'dirty' when its not.

MY TRAUMA.
(a short poem by Berryy <3) It made me carry burdens that weren't mine, like fixing everyone. It made me scared to say what I need, always thinking of others first. It made me want others to say "you're okay, its going to be okay", to fill up the hole inside. It made me think I didn't deserve love or kindness, always wondering if I'm worth it. It made me not trust, always expecting to be let down. It was like I was drowning in others' feelings, when I couldn't even understand my own. Or was I just avoiding my own pain...

A Hunger Games AU set in a Harry Potter Universe where Grindelwald won his duel against Albus Dumbledore.
Despite their best efforts, both the Wizard and Non-Wizard worlds fell to his control. The last holdouts—Canada, the United States, and Mexico—are made examples of for failing to yield. What was once three nations was divided into seven separate districts and every year they send 35 non-magical tributes between the ages of 11-17 to compete in a Hunger Games. Two females, two males, and a tribute of any gender picked from the remaining names.
The untimely death of Grindelwald in late 1970 brought the rise of a new leader, former Head Gamemaker Lord Voldemort. The change in power brought a rebellion across Europe. It was quashed in only five years. To further prove the might of his regime, he added these rebellious regions to the Games. By the same borders of the three European Wizarding schools, each region would send two non-magical tributes—a female and a male—and one magical tribute who would be stripped of their wand in the Arena. 45 tributes
In spite of their small numbers, since the inclusion of magical children in the 28th annual Hunger Games only one non-magical tribute has won—you. It’s been seven years since your win and the commencement of the 49th annual Hunger Games is set to start soon.
